Hello everyone. Welcome to Signs and Seasons with Karen. I'm so glad that you are here today and I have a guest that I think you'll be really excited to hear our conversation today. He is arguably one of the most popular and most well loved guests of Prophecy Watchers. If you've seen any of our episodes, you've likely heard of the name La Marzulli. So I cannot wait for today's conversation. Welcome la. Thank you so much for being here.
A
Thank you for being here, Karen. It's an honor. Congratulations on your set.
B
Thank you.
A
And your show. Boy, thank you.
B
I am quite enjoying it. So let's jump in. I know that you have a very unique story of how you came to know the Lord and I know that we have talked about it in the past on this show. Not on this show, but on Prophecy Watchers. So you don't have to go into great detail if you don't want to. But for those who have not heard of your testimony, I would love for you to just share it with our audience.
A
Okay, I. I'll do it really quickly. I was raised Catholic at 13. After my confirmation, I left the Catholic faith. I met my first real girlfriend when I was 16. She was 14. And by the time I turned 18, I was completely immersed in all things New Age. I like I said, I left the Catholic Church, a New Age guy. I was reading all these occult books. Carlos Castanata, Vision Quest. I was involved, I was at Woodstock. I was involved in all sorts of psychedelics and taking drugs like everybody did back then. Pretty much everybody. Unlike Bill Clinton. I inhaled as deeply as possible. Thank you very much. So when I'm 18 and she's 16, I was on LSD at the time in my room. It's like 2 o' clock in the morning and my father comes in and goes, michelle's been killed in an automobile accident. And this led me, I mean, I was stunned, shocked. It was a wake up call because how could this happen? Why did this happen? And that led me on a quest to find God. Unfortunately, I was completely. I was on the East Coast. The Jesus movement was happening. What was out on the West Coast? Not a lot going on on the east coast back then. And so I gravitated towards the New Age. And one day I was walking around and I tore this billfold off a telephone pole. That's how things were done, you know, no social media. This is roughly 19. Let me try to get my dates right. 1969, 1970 1970, right around there. And it said, the king of the universe has come to earth today. Come to us today. Guru Maharaj. And so he's gonna speak down in Philadelphia, I lasso my good friend John Marshall, we hop in his vw, we drive down to. The place is packed, wall to wall. Fire marshal would have had a cow. And it's just wall to wall hippies. It's a summer night, there's no air conditioning, all the doors are open, the guru is late. Three hours later, the guru shows up, a little 14 year old kid and he sits on the throne. And when he walked in the room, everybody purnow him, everybody prostrated themselves on the floor. And I find myself doing the same thing and not knowing why. And the guru talked about knowledge and he had the little things, songy voice like this, you think knowledge is what you were going to do, what? And that's how he would talk this knowledge which could be changed your life. And so I was hooked. I mean, he talked for two or three hours and that was it. The next day I went down and received knowledge. My third eye was open, I heard celestial music, I tasted divine nectar. And I got the primordial word of the universe supposedly. And I joined the ashram and that was it. And three years, about a year and a half later, I was over at, at I. They flew me over a synthesizer player and I joined the Guru's Brothers Orchestra. And I was there for two years and then I left. I was completely disillusioned with the whole thing. We were in Malibu, 1974, and I been there ever since. I never left. We're way up in the Santa Monica mountains and I became agnostic from 75 to 1980.
B
Oh, how old were you?
A
Around, I'm 25. Okay, so from 25 to 30 I'm agnostic. And again, dabbling in new age stuff. I had vision quests, but agnostic. And then I was reading these books when I was 30 and one of them is specifically by David Hutt, the Cult Explosion. And in that book there's a little, like most books, there's a little prayer at the end because I'm going, yeah, okay, this Jesus, I don't know, it makes sense to me on some level. And my prayer was, I'm alone in my room, there's nobody beating me head over the Bible, beating me over their Bible. And I just said, if you're real, come into my life and change it. And he did. And a month later everything changed. And that's 46 years ago. It's never been the same since.
B
Wow. When you had that life changing experience of when you heard that your girlfriend, was it your girlfriend at the time, had passed away.
A
Yeah.
B
And you had grown up in the Roman Catholic Church. Was going to Catholicism ever a consideration for you? Was that ever in your mind or had you just written that off? And if so, why?
A
This was a. As my first mentor, Wayne Kendall, used to say in a cushion shot by the Lord. So when all this. When the dam broke and the Lord began to move me out of the kingdom of darkness, within 24 hours, the. There was Wayne and there was my first pastor within 24 hours.
B
Wow.
A
So I had a mentor and we worked together for like, I don't know, two years together. Every single day I eat dinner over at his house because I was celibate for the first three years as a Christian.
B
Wow.
A
Because of my past and everything else. And then after three years, the Lord said, go find your wife. That's Becky. 42 years of September. So I had Wayne Kendall as a mentor and I had Pastor Fred as my pastor. And so I was asking, what about transubstantiation? Because all I knew was Catholicism. And I read the Bible from COVID to cover, over and over and over again. The spiritual warfare was so intense that I would sleep with the Bible clutched at my chest.
B
Oh, wow. Oh, wow.
A
Yeah.
B
And the spiritual warfare, do you think that was from when you were getting into the occult and your experience?
A
Well, I was being taken out of the kingdom of darkness and the enemy did not want to let me go. No way. He had me all bound up. I didn't even realize it.
B
Yeah.
A
You know, and the residue is still there, you know, because once you take something in, it's in. No matter what you do, you can remove it, but the memory is still there. And so, you know, when things crop up. Nope, nope. That's been taken care of. It's all in the blood. It's all under the cross. I'm a new creature in Christ. Go away. That's how you counteract it.
B
Right.
A
But that's just one of the ways you can counteract it. But it was life changing. And I became a worship leader because I'd been a musician all my life, in and out of rock bands again. I was orchestrating for the 60 piece orchestra, which was incredible. That was like going better than music college because I had Knut and Larry Cohen as mentors. Knut Jensen was a teacher in Denmark of music. So, hey, what do I do with the string part? Oh, my Let me show you. Same thing with Larry Cohen. Larry, I'm having trouble with the voicing here. Oh, Larry would just jump right in and show me. So I'm being trained by these two guys and I'm writing all this stuff and then hearing it back for a 60 piece orchestra was. It was really. That part was amazing.
B
So up until that time your vocation was a musician?
A
Yeah, I was a musician. I was in and out of rock bands. We're signed, we have producers, we're in studios recording all boats here. We recorded in the Fleetwood Mac room at the Village Recorders, which. Which was built just for Fleetwood Mac. Literally. I remember walking down the hallway and there comes Donald Fagan from, you know, Steely Dan. It's just like not making this stuff up. And we were good, you know, Bob and Norman. It was a three piece band and we were good. I mean, we sounded. We played at the Troubadour standing ovation.
B
Wow.
A
No one had heard us. We just walked in, we stood up and we played our set and we had standing ovation.
B
People, there's no talent when they hear it.
A
Well, it was there, but the Lord, you know, the Lord was redirecting my steps. Even as a worship leader, all I wanted to do was make Christian music. And I wrote the Life of Christ, which I think you guys have here. It's the He Has Risen cd. It's an amazing piece of music, if I do say so myself. And thank you. Not my swan song, but I mean, it's fully orchestrated. But the Lord was going like this. I know this is what you love and that's fine. But that's not really why you're here. Trust me. And then finally I realized it with Zonderman. Now we're back 30 years, roughly. And the first novel came out. You know, Nephilim Metruf is here. On the whole UFO phenomena. And having seen the UFO at 12 and then been in the other side of the aisle. These are our space brothers. I mean, being on both sides of the aisle, New age and now born again spiritual Christian. I have a very unique perspective.
B
Absolutely.
A
Because I've been on both sides. I can talk their language. I understand their language because that was my language before I became born again and spirit filled.
B
God was 100% preparing you for this very unique, special future. Okay, so I don't. You've been all over the place and I have so many things I want to stop and ask you to expound.
A
Sorry.
B
But you did mention that you had gone to Woodstock. And before we get into how you became Bl. Marzulli. And essentially one and the same with UFOs in the Christian world. I would love for you to just talk a little about. Talk a little bit about your experience at Woodstock.
A
Well, through the eyes of a non believer who was a carnal Christian. It was. It was amazing. Free music, women running around with no clothes, men running around with no clothes, all the dope and drugs you could possibly want. What can go wrong, Right?
B
Nothing. Nothing at all.
A
Nothing at all. It was a bacchanalia. It was an absolute disgusting bacchanalia. We're all. Anything pure and holy and good was just thrown to the wind.
B
But at that point, you. You didn't know the Lord and it was just.
A
Yeah, all right. You know, that. That holds beyond stupid mentality.
B
Yeah.
A
But if that's all you know, that's all you know. And if all your friends are doing it and that's all they know you're. And this is why it's so important to ground the young people today. And the importance of virginity, first of all, because when you're a virgin and you marry your wife and she marries you and you're both virgins, you're experiencing something that is unique just to you and nobody else. But multiple partners. Peggy had multiple partners. And I don't say this to embarrass her or embarrass me, but if I could do it all over again, oh, man. Knowing what I know now, I would have kept myself pure. And then when Peggy and I marry, would have shared something so intimate, it's still intimate. And she's my wife of 42 years this September. So, you know, the Lord has a way of bringing two people together with sort of the same past and making him work. And we have two children and one grandbaby, and there you go. And it's all because of him. But if I could do it over again. No way. No way.
B
Well, you didn't know better at the time.
A
I didn't.
B
Yeah. And when you know better, you can do better. So there you go.
A
I like that.
B
Well, thank you for going on that little bunny trail. I now jump now, jumping forward to being a baby Christian in the throes of spiritual warfare, which I'm sure you were probably trying to figure out which way is up on a daily basis.
A
Exactly.
B
And you were a worship leader. Did you think that that was going to be your new path in life? Or at what point did you start getting into ministry? And not only that, but very specifically ufo Talking about that is a Very niche subject even in Christianity up until a couple years ago when the government disclosed that UFOs do exist. And now it's just like everybody is saying that that's very normal. But before that we were accused of wearing tinfoil hats.
A
Mr. Tinfoil, yeah. Again, before I was a Christian, we went and saw Close Encounters of the Third Kind. As you sit in silence waiting for the Space alliance, listening to the ringing in your ear and you know you want to go, you want to go. Take me, I'm ready. I want to go. That was a song I wrote before I was a Christian, which I still remember, which talked about the Space alliance, waiting for the Space alliance. And you know you want to go. I mean, there it was and now it's like, sorry, that's the last thing I want to do is to go with that. So it's amazing how the paradigm completely changed after I became a born again, spirit filled Christian. So I was immersed in the new age and the occult and ufology and all this before I became a Christian. Then is a period of 10 years from when I'm 30 to 40, I meet Peggy, we have two children. I'm a full time worship leader, different churches, and all I wanted to do was make a Christian cd. That's it. That's all I wanted to do. And so from the next 10 years I was still a worship leader. But that's when the change began to happen. And that's when I started writing. And I remember sending the rough manual, the outline of the manuscript to Chuck Missler. God bless Chuck. He's no longer here and he was a mentor to me and I'm glad that I'm honored that if he, if I affected him in any way and, and Zonderan picked it up. They were reluctant at first. And there was a friend of mine at the time, Bill Myers, who basically said to the head acquisitions editor, you need to take another look at this. And you know Bill, I mean, still, that voice from Bill Myers opened the door. Definitely. You got to give credit where credit is due. And the book hit the, the market and became a bestseller on the CBA list, which was really an honor.
B
First book and Zondervan picking up your first book. That's two really incredible pieces.
A
Well, it's just the Lord. Yeah, that's what it is. It's just the Lord opening doors. And that led to, you know, other things. But we, you know, that was talking about ufo, but from a fictional standpoint, everything really started, started hitting again with the book. Politics, prophecy of supernatural which was a treatise, and that was my father's doing. You should write a book about this. So I did, and it was picked up and we had the rights back. And I'm actually signed by Charisma, and we're doing a massive rewrite on the book. Politics proposal, Supernatural, we're calling it the Luciferian Endgame. And it's basically a rewrite. Yes, I'm keeping some things, but I have added so much more. Because when I wrote that, it came out in 2006, there are no films now. There's 33 films. The late Richard Shaw and I created 11 films and our Watches series.
B
Yeah. So pause on that. How did you go from writing to filmmaking? That's. I mean, you. You went from music to writing, which is a big job. You knew nothing about writing previously, and now you're going from writing to filmmaking, which I'm assuming is another big jump of you know, nothing about filmmaking. And yet here we go.
A
So. So I'm on Coast to coast with George Norrie. I'm talking about UFOs, and I get this email from some guy, Richard Shaw. He goes, I'm a producer director in Hollywood, and I'd love to take you to lunch. Okay? So I'm making fun of all this to Peggy. I'm going, yeah, some wannabe producer from Hollywood wants to take me to lunch. Okay. So I go down there, and he's with Lee Catalon, and Lee's got his pit bull, and we're sitting here, we're having lunch and stuff, and Rick and I, you know, are really hitting it off. And so Rick invites me to his studio. This is the days where he had a studio in Hollywood. It was really cool, really cool studio. And it was called Pin Light. And then the whole collapse happened and everything went south. And he lost the studio, lost his house.
B
Oh, wow.
A
Somebody owed him a quarter of a million dollars and just burned him.
B
Oh, wow.
A
And Rick passed away a number of years ago, so I think I have liberty to say this. So he goes, so. So there. There's that initial connection. And I'm down, and he's filming me in his studio, asking me questions, and I'm giving them answers. And I get this invite. A friend of mine goes, they're doing a casting call. Why don't you go down and try it? Okay. So I go down, and now I'm in Hollywood, right? The whole deal, it's a casting call. So I go in. There's all these other people. It's a couple of guys from UFO Hunters. Are there. There's a psychic, there's some, you know, models. And it's just a very eclectic group of people. And I go in there and they were trying to team us up to see if there was any chemistry between anybody. So they team me up with this woman who's a professional model, who wants to be an actress, which is fine. And they throw a mock situation, a script to us. And the script was some guy who I missed a typewriter is taking it to a patent office, but his best friend steals it and gets there before he does. So he never gets the patent of a typewriter. So he goes and burns his house down and commits suicide. Okay? The lot is vacant for a number of years. This is all fictional. This is what we were supposed to read. And so someone builds a house, but the house is haunted. So what do you think? La. You hear pin drop in that place? I go, well, what's happened was, is he's committed suicide and there's a blood curse on the land. And unless what we're seeing is not this person's soul, we're seeing demonic entities moving because of the blood that's been spilled and never been rectified according to the Levitical law. Everybody's like this because it was completely outside their paradigm. Oh, yeah, because they're all. Well, you know, that's just the ghost of a guy. No, it's not as goes, trust me, it's this. It's demons impersonating him because the blood's there and his memories and all that stuff is there. So that was. That was. That. I. We were there for eight hours and I walked out, got in my car, called Richard Shaw on the phone and go, rick, Rick, you can't believe what just happened. I tell him the whole story. He's laughing. You have to know Rick. He's laughing and just chortling and having a great time with it. And I go, we got to make our own movie. He goes, okay, how much money do we have? We don't have any money. Okay, let's do it. So we, we, we. This woman gives us $5,000. Rick borrows. Lee Cantal owns camera and his computer. And Rick and I create the first in watches for our watches series. And we print, I think, 100 DVDs. I put it up on our website. They sell in 24 hours. We're scared. Oh, my gosh, you have to know Rick. So we print 200 just like that. They're sold in 24 hours. So now we print 500. They're sold in a week. And we know Roman, and people are going, when's the second episode? And that led to the entire Watchers series. There are 11 films in that series. Rick passed away six years ago now. Hard to believe. I think we would have gotten back together. We had a falling out, but then we came back together. But we did 11 films together. And there was a tension there towards the end. He wanted to go one direction, I wanted to go another direction, which led to him doing a Torah code in me on the trail of a Nephilim. And then. But we would. In spite of all that, we had lunch at least once a week.
B
Wow.
A
Always. Always had lunch. And the night he died, he called me on the phone. I'm in the emergency room. It's not looking good, Rick. You're gonna be fine. And I'm in Oklahoma. He's back. And five hours later, his widow Mary calls and goes, rick's dead. So, wow. Yeah. Pretty crazy stuff.
B
So would you say that making the first Watchers film, do you think that was kind of the official start of your ministry or what you.
A
Well, I was a worship leader again and was writing books. But that all of a sudden we're making films together? It's like, what. And people have said this to me. I'm just a natural in front of the camera. I never went to film school. No idea what I'm doing. Rick was and is a great director, and everything I know about filmmaking is from Rick. Everything. That's it. And, you know, since then, with our 10 bucks DVD set, my new business partner, Go Zimmerman, and I created 10 DVDs on the whole UFO phenomena. But Richard Shah and I broke the story. Robert Salas. The Malstrom Air Force base where the UFO turns off all 10 intercontinental ballistic missiles. Richard Shah and I took out the implant from Emil. We're the only Christian ministry ever to do that. You know, we broke the stories. Robert Salas. We had the implant that we took out. Okay. So, I mean, there's some. There's some stuff there that Rick and I did. Absolutely groundbreaking. We were the ones that interviewed Dr. David Jacob and talked about the hybridization program. We were the ones that interviewed Emil, who again, had the implant but had been taken and abducted. So this is all. I mean, it's really, as far as I know, the first Christian film crew to ever even look into these subjects.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
In the depth that Rick and I did.
B
Yeah. It's so educational. I have seen. I think I've probably seen all of the DVDs that you've made. And every single one goes into such depth and detail on a topic that I may have heard a sentence or two about, you know, like black eyed children are coming to mind and there's a whole story. Yeah. And Christians need to be educated on these things. And I know that there's a lot of people that are concerned and don't want to know about the depths of the darkness that we are facing here on this planet, but I think we need to be educated so that we can be equipped to be able to handle it if and when it does come into our path. So I'm so thankful that you are doing it from a biblical perspective, because there are those fringe TV shows on cable networks that will talk about it, but not from the Christian perspective that we need to hear it from. So from my perspective, I think you are doing the Lord's work. I know you are doing the Lord's work.
A
So I was on the first two seasons of Ancient Aliens and, and, and one of the reasons, another reason why Rick and I went. Went after this whole thing was because my words were being, I don't want to use the word twisted, but they were twisted. They were taken out of context, you know, and they wanted me, actually, for the third season, they wanted me to start bagging on Fatima. And I said, I'm not going to do that. Now after that, and this is after Rick and I parted, we did two films on the Fatima apparitions. They were not Mary of the Bible. It was a UFO event. And for those of you who are watching this. Oh, that's preposterous. Watch our films on Fatima because we did a deep dive. We broke the story on it. You really did in that film. Yeah, in those films.
B
Now I want to pivot a little bit and talk about all the traveling that you've done for all of these DVDs. I can't imagine that when you first started making these films that you thought you'd ever be traveling, traveling outside the United States, but specifically when you went to Peru. I would love for you to just go into detail what that experience was like, because I can't even imagine going there.
A
Well, it all. The nexus of that is someone sends me a link, I forget who. And there's Brian Forrester in the old Paracas History Museum in front of a. And he, and he's handling these skulls, elongated skulls. So I, I look him up, I say, hey, we'd like to come down and film. And at first he's a little adverse to it, but then he says, yeah, Come on down. So we fly. That was the first expedition. I forget how we got that funded, but we had a small war chest, and we brought down the late Joe Taylor, which was incredible. And Judd Burton was our first archaeologist on it. And Rick and I. And we were there for. Rick and I were there for, like, two weeks. They went back, I think, after four or five days. Ron Moorhead, I think, was there, too. And we were handling these elongated skulls. And that was the first. That was the first foyer into that whole world which led. And, you know, and Brian's our guide. He's taking us up to Cusco, sacsay Whamond. And Rick and I are looking at each other going, oh, my gosh, what is all this? And when you're at sac, Saint Le Monde, no, human beings did not do this. And so, you know, hats off to Brian. He did just a great job. And Rick and I created. That was actually number six in the Watcher series, the Secret Cosmic War. And the reason why we call it that is because the last night in Cusco, Rick and I are walking back from dinner, and I go, up against the wall of this building. Oh, my gosh. I'm getting a download. Rick, Rick. And Rick goes, oh, my gosh. I'm getting it, too. So we're both getting the same download at the same time. That's never happened.
B
Wow. That's incredible.
A
Yeah, it's unbelievable. What are you getting? And he goes, it's like a secret cosmic war. I go, yeah, yeah. This whole thing is. There was like a system over the Earth, a grid system over the Earth. And that night, we're back in the hotel room. I'm not making this up, folks. We're going running back and forth to each of. Greg, are you up? I can't sleep.
B
Oh.
A
And then we would talk for. Okay, okay, we got to go to sleep. Then half an hour later. Are you up? This went on all night long.
B
Y' all should have just gotten together and had a slumber party.
A
Yeah. And then. Well, that would be. The girlies would do that. But we didn't. But he goes, we gotta be careful. We could be killed for this. I go, yeah, I know. So when we released the film, we expected all this, and there was nothing. It was just like nobody cared. It's just like, oh, my gosh. But we broke that story. Rick and I broke that story because the Lord gave us a download. There was an ancient grid system over the planet that was set up by the fallen angels, in my opinion, the Great Pyramid in Giza. That was the major source of all the energy. And eventually they're going to find that out, especially with the new information. And I actually interviewed the Italian scientists who flew two satellites over Giza from multiple directions. There are artifacts that go down 2,100ft that look like modern day centrifuges. These pillars, there's eight of them and they're huge. And they go down 2,100ft underneath Giza. And of course, Sally Hawass is yelling and screaming, you know, they're this, that's standard, attack the people. But we won't look at the data. Excuse me, if you were at all curious, wouldn't you be out there with a front loader next morning to see if this is true and doing an excavation? Apparently they've got, they're getting close to getting permits for it, but we don't know if that holds true. And I've already done films on this, you know, daily shows on this, on my show that if it holds true, it rewrites history. New agents will say, see, we were visited by a race of extraterrestrials. We're seeing fallen angel technology, nephilim architecture.
B
Yeah.
A
And Gary Stearman, who we both love. And, and you know, he's just a great friend. And Gary and I talked about this nephilim architecture, fallen angel technology. But it's going to be revealed probably soon. And that will rewrite history. Now what? And it will point. They'll spin it. See, it's E.T. that's what they'll say.
B
Do you think that's going to be in the near future that we will be here to see? Interesting. Well, I'd be interested to see how after we're gone, how that's continued to spun, because I know that that is their belief system, their paradigm. And, and for me, I feel like once you see it from a biblical perspective, you can't unsee that. It just, I feel like it puzzle pieces, it locks in place so perfectly that even if you don't have the eyes to see, you still have to kind of turn a blind eye against the truth because it's right there in black and white. And there are no pieces of that explanation that don't make sense. You don't have to reach for any truth. And yet from their perspective, there's a lot of reaching for truth, so.
A
A lot of reaching. Yeah, I agree.
B
Yeah. I'd like to turn another corner. And I know that you live in California and your home was affected by the fires that we had a couple years ago and I'd love for you to just share your experience with that.
A
Yeah. The 2018 fire was devastating. We were in Dallas at a conference, speaking, and we got wind, no pun intended, that the Santa anas were up 65 mile an hour. Sustained winds, gusts up to 80, 80 miles an hour. And the fire came out, and we followed it. And Saturday morning, and I'm supposed to speak. Saturday afternoon, I was speaking on Fatima 2018. And our neighbors called and said. And they basically said, it's gone. And so we had our suitcases with some clothes, my laptop. Our daughter Corey got some of the stuff out, but she didn't know what to take. So, you know, we got the. The desktops out, one electric keyboard, cameras. Some of the cameras got out, some of them didn't. And we drove in there. We flew back on a Monday. My brother had already reserved a room at extended stay. The dogs were in the kennel. So everything. Our life was just like, completely upended. And we lasted about eight, nine days before we found a place to rent, and we immediately rented it. And it was culture shock. Here we are on two acres in the Santa Monica mountain with no neighbors, and all of a sudden, we're in a cul de sac surrounded by neighbors. And Mr. Wrinkles are. Our silly dog. Did not like it there at all. He was. He was very trauma. We were all. We all had PTSD from the fire.
B
I cannot.
A
We didn't even know we had ptsd. So we never wanted to see the property again. And we moved to Oklahoma. And about three months after that. So let me back up. So for. For me, it was a very traumatic period of time. So in November, November 9, 2018, the fire burns everything. December, I think it's 16th or 15th December that year, my brother's wife passes away from a brain tumor.
B
Oh, my goodness.
A
In January of the next year. So 2019, Peggy's, my wife's mother, succumbs to a massive heart attack. We were there in the hospital. We watched her take her last breath. In February, we pick up everything and move to Oklahoma. In June 2019, Richard Shaw dies. And our daughter, shortly after that, gets married, becomes pregnant. And she has this majority hormonal imbalance, and no one catches it. I mean, her prolactin was five times higher. Should be around 20. It was 120.
B
Oh, wow.
A
So this through. And that was. Was too much. Too much more than I could handle.
B
Oh, I can't eat. Like the fire enough is.
A
Is traumatizing a period of time. And I remember going to A passion just breaking down and crying. I did get professional help. I did seek a counselor.
B
Good.
A
And work through it. And I would, you know, that's what, that's what they're there for people, especially men. You know, we, you know, we don't, we don't run around telling people or deep. But I needed to because it was just way too much. And so, yeah, I was in a very, very dark place. Very dark place. But in the, in the midst of all this, right. Peggy and I fly out in 2019, in May. I had just come back from Peru again filming with Tim Albarino. And the place is scrape clean. It's a clean slate. It's virgin lands, beautiful. And I'm just, I'm up on what was the upper deck, which looks down the canyon and there's the ocean and it's crystal blue clear. That's just. And I'm just up there just melancholy because I know that was our upper deck, that was topside. We used to eat up there all the time. And so I'm wandering down and there was this area that had river rock around it. And years before, I was a brand new Christian. So now it's 1980. So 2018. 1980, right. Long time ago. And I was, I had a house on the market. My first and only spec house. Jimmy Carter's president, interest rates are 21%, house ain't selling, I lose everything. So I'm three months behind in my rent at where we live today. And I go to go to this guy who owns a house, I go, look, let me do some landscaping for you and I'll work. He goes, okay. His idea of landscaping was a used broken down cement mixer in the front yard between two orange trees. Okay, so that wasn't going to work. So I bought all this river rock in and I bought a couple of truckloads of dirt and I'm landscaping things and I'm taking the river rock and I make this circle and then plan it with everything as I'm stacking the river rock. And I'm a brand new Christian. Holy Spirit cast me on the shoulder and goes, you're doing this for yourself. The lamb is yours. And I go, what? Oh yeah, the lamb is yours. I'm not married. I'm celibate at this time. I'm a brand new Christian. And seven years later, I'm now married. Peggy and I are looking for a house and we closed escrow. So that prophecy came true.
B
Wow.
A
And I was there and. Go away. Hold on, let me show you something. So we're. I follow. The Lord says, pick up a stone. So now it's 2018. So I'm one. I'm wandering down from top side and I'm very melancholy because everything's scraped and nothing, nothing is there. I mean, it's just vacant land and the Lord. But that circle is still there. They didn't, they didn't touch it. I told them, don't touch the circle. Don't touch the false creep. They didn't touch it. So they go. So I'm there all by myself. There's nobody else. Everybody went, Peggy and my daughter, they went off. And all these people, lawyers and FEMA and just all these people left. I'm there by myself. And the Lord goes, pick up a stone. And so I reach down, I look around, I pick up a stone. It's blackened on one side, but the other side is not blackened because it hasn't been exposed to the fire holding the stone on. The Lord goes, this is your promised stone. The Lamb is yours. And I fall on my knees and weep because it's the same thing he told me decades earlier. The lamb is yours. La. The lamb is yours. Pick up. This is your Ebenezer. It's your promised stone. The lamb is yours. I go back, Peggy, we're going to rebuild. The Lord gave me a word. Peggy's going, I don't have that word. I'm not going to do this. Peggy, we're going to do this. So a couple of months later, we are at LAX at the airport and Peggy goes, and she's not on board. I already am. I've got a drafting table. I'm drawing this thing up because I know what I got. And that stone sits on that drafting table. And she goes, I don't believe it. I go, what? And she goes, I don't believe. And she points. This is the sign that's in lax.
B
Oh, no, it doesn't. Oh my gosh.
A
And where does it say it's Santa Monica mountains?
B
It does.
A
And here you go, folks. I'm not making this up. Dear la. And. And that was it. She got what?
B
A confirmation for Peggy? Yeah.
A
Louisiana is supposed to be Los Angeles, you know. L.A dot. Excuse me. What?
B
That is incredible.
A
God has a real sense of humor. And so we rebuilt and we have been in there now six years and it's home. I don't like the politics of California. It's one of the most broken states. Need to pray that the Lord would intervene. Remember, the Jesus movement started in California. So don't write us off yet. Okay. God's not done with California, and we
B
need people that are strong Christians to be in those dark places.
A
That's why we're there.
B
Yeah. That is absolutely incredible how the Lord took that full circle and he redeemed this place that you thought that you had abandoned, that you just gave up hope. I'm going to move to Oklahoma. I'm going to be miserable in the heat, and I'm going to be, you know, frustrated with the tornadoes and the ice and this. I love that you guys were here for a time, but I know that you were miserable and this was not your place. And obviously, I just. I love what the Lord did to bring that back to you and remind you that, no, my promise to you has not changed. Yeah. Beautiful.
A
Unbelievable.
B
Would you talk a little bit about your relationship with the Lord? You keep saying that you get these downloads from God and you hear the Lord speak to you, and so many Christians don't have that experience. Was that your. Your experience from when you first became a Christian, or how did that begin happening? And what do you. What do you connect that to?
A
I won't state publicly what I. What I think the reason is. I just won't do it. But I think that he takes the broken. Sometimes the most broken vessels, and I gotta be careful because I'll start losing it.
B
Sorry, you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. Seriously, no pressure.
A
It's a big baby. I think he takes not only broken, but sometimes the most broken people and raises them up. Because he knows that they'll give. They'll point back to him. They won't. They won't look at themselves. They'll point back to him. There's a. I'm really sorry, folks, but that's. That's a nerve. But, you know, there's a saying I came up with fairly recently. He's the rock star, I'm the roadie. And that's exactly what it is. So anything I am, anything he has made me, I can just. Anything at all. Movies, books, it's like. Just like the waiting room. It's like that's where it comes from. You know, Mary Magdalene was, you know, look at the chosen. Just the dregs of society. I mean, I was. I would classify myself in the dregs of society. That's what I was, you know, and he took this, but he knew what I could be. And that's what he does. He takes the brokenness. Never lets us forget the brokenness, but heals us of the brokenness and then creates something new.
B
I think that's one of God's favorite things to do.
A
I think he really gets off on it. Go, go, go.
B
Yeah. Thank you so much for sharing that.
A
Thank you.
B
I'd love to hear if you have one, though you might not have one, what your favorite Bible verse is.
A
Well, the favorite. The favorite verse or psalm is Psalm 103, you know, praise the Lord. I tell myself with my whole heart I will praise his holy name. Praise the Lord. I tell myself I never forget the good things he does for me. Right. That whole deal, you know, he forgives all my sins, he heals all my diseases. He ransoms me from death, surrounds me with love and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagles. The Lord gives righteousness and justice to those who are treated unfairly. He yields his character of Moses deeds the people of Israel. Lord is merciful, gracious, slow to anger, full of unfailing love. He will not constantly accuse us. He will not, you know, remember all of our sins. That's not exactly what it says, but I just got did rail myself. Lord is merciful, gracious, slow to anger, full of unfailing love. The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. For he knows how we are made. He understands that we are only dust. Our days on earth are like the grass, like wildflowers we bloom and then we die. The wind blows and we are gone as if we were never here. But the love of the Lord remains forever. His salvation extends to the children's children of those who are faithful to his covenant and those who obey his commandment. Lord is to his throne in the heavens, for Mary rules over everything. Praise the Lord, you angels over his mighty creatures carry out his plans, listening to his commands. Praise the Lord. Everything in his creation. As for me, I too will praise the Lord. I say that every night.
B
Beautiful. I knew that it wasn't going to be one verse.
A
Yeah, it's a whole Psalm 1.
B
So you say that every night?
A
Every night.
B
I love that. I love that.
A
Other ones that he has me say.
B
Oh, beautiful. Okay, so last question I have for you is if you would tell us a little bit about the waiting room. I know this is not your first fiction work of fiction. The last work of fiction.
A
It's the first one in 20 years.
B
20 years. So it could be the first for a lot of people who haven't known you for 20 years. So talk to us about this well,
A
the waiting room is a novel, but Bob Frisbee is a protagonist, the main character. And he has some heart palpitations. And he's laying in the hospital room and his wife is there, but he's popped out. He's popped out. He's flying all around the hospital and he's a former airplane pilot, so he's really digging this. And he looks down and he's like comatose. He's got the wires and his wife Evelyn is crying and his goofy son is there and he's on his iPhone. It's like, you know, finally his daughter, who they were estranged and you know, she's in a lesbian type relationship. Anyway, he flatlines and all of a sudden and he finds himself, whoa. In this beautiful room with very plush carpeting. The lighting is just perfect and just mellow. There's this huge table with inlay, walled at inlay. The chair is like this, really comfortable to sit in. The doors are walnut with inlaid abalone. And in walks this guy with hair kind of like Doc from Back of the Future and Albert Einstein. He's got the huge file under his arm and he goes. Peers over his spectacles. Bob Frisby. Yes, that's me. You know, I thought I was supposed to be in heaven. How do you know you're not? He puts the file down, sits down. My name is Mr. Olam. You can call me mister. Oh, well, where's Jesus, honey? You know, you're not looking. You don't look at anything like Jesus. Well, why am I here? This is the waiting room. Well, why am I. What am I waiting for? Well, you'll see. You've got unforgiveness in your life. What do you mean unforgiveness in my Life? And then Mr. O does something. And this wheel appears. And in that wheel are spokes coming out like this. And at the end of each spoke, as a person, and he looks, there's Evelyn. And the loved one's smiling and vibrant, but. But just a few spokes down. There's David from second grade, who was a bully and he backed me up against the locker and I punched him in the face and knocked his two front teeth out. And Mr. O goes, See his face? He's really angry. And the reason why he's angry is you've never forgiven him. What do you mean I've never forgiven him? I never think about him. Mr. O goes, oh, no, you think about him quite often. And when you do, you smirk because you won the fight. Bully for you, Bob. You won the fight. But you still think of him. And you carry bitterness towards David. I'm not bitter. Oh, yes, you are. You're bitter. Well, what difference does it make? Well, what happens if you run into David up here and Bob's. Amelia. You mean David's here? Oh, there's a lot of people up here that you wouldn't expect to be here, but they're here. And so the whole purpose of the book is that we. And the Lord just gave me the download. Forgiveness is the key. And so many of us walk around with hatred and bitterness and unforgiveness in our hearts. I mean, I could just go through my own punch list and you need to go through your own punch list. And the way you forgive is you bless the person. You just bless them. It doesn't matter what they've done. You're not condoning the action, but you bless them, you forgive them for their actions, and then you bless them in Jesus name. And what that does is it unburdens us and it keeps us free.
B
Yeah. Something that we do not talk about enough in Christians. And really forgiveness is for us. It's not for the other person. We are hurting ourselves by holding. That's for us. It's forgiveness against them. Yeah. What a beautiful fiction book. And we need more fiction books. I mean, I love nonfiction, but fiction just. It helps you immerse yourself in a story and learn truths along the way that you know, you're not being hit over the head with them, you're being engaged with them on a personal level. So I'm so glad 20 years later you came out with another fiction book. If any of you are interested in purchasing this, it will be available on our website, prophecywatchers.com I want to read it for myself, so I'm going to take this home. Anything else that I didn't ask you that you'd like to share?
A
Well, I think I'm not a date setter, but maybe next Wednesday we're going to get raptured. Of course I say that tongue in cheek, but I think it's close. I think you know. Behold, I tell you a mystery. We shall now all sleep. We shall be changed. At a moment, in the twinkling of an eye the trumpet will sound. The dead in Christ will rise first. We who are alive and remain will be caught up together. But those in the clouds to greet the Lord in the air. I think it's close. I think it's real close. The perishable must put on the imperishable. The mortal with Immortality. I basically took the two scriptures and joined them together. Because it's Paul talking from 1 Corinthians 15:52 and then 1 Thessalonians 4, 16. So you put those two together, we're going up. We're not appointed to wrath. And people can. Darby didn't invent it. It's in Scripture. He just had access to the scriptures because for 1400 years, everything was sealed up. And remember tin devils burnt at the stake. Why? For translating the Bible in English. So you know the whole Gutenberg and the printing press. Now the common man could read the Bible. And all Darby did was go, oh, my gosh, look at that. We're not appointed the raft. Gee, the rapture of the church. Harpazo snatching up. We're going to greet the Lord in the air. We're going to meet him. I can't wait for that. And when we arrive there, we don't arrive with our sin nature. That's the first thing he takes. The changing and the twinkling of an eye. That's a sin nature. Just gone. Because when we go there, we're not going, oh, there's Bob over there. We're not doing that. We're in glorified bodies with no sin nature. Because we're not like Isaiah. Oh, woe is me, a man of unclean lift. No, we arrive to see him in the clouds and we are in immortal bodies. No sin nature. Can't wait for that.
B
Can't wait. Can't wait.
A
Yeah, it's gonna be really cool. I think it's soon.
B
Thank you so much for your time.
A
Thank you. You were great. You're a great host.
