All right, so Daniel. Daniel is just this incredible book. But as you're studying the book of Daniel and going through your own personal studies on your own, just don't forget that you have the teacher, you know, you have the anointing, you have the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of you. And the author of the Word of God can teach you everything. And it's two of my favorite verses in the whole Bible, because once you become a Christian, it is one of the most important things you can do. Thank you, sir. To study the Word of God on your own, you cannot outsource it to anyone. You are responsible for your relationship with God. And so as you're studying the Bible, just lean on the Holy Spirit to give you understanding so that when he does appear, whether that means when you go to go home permanently or in the rapture of the church, either one, you're going to come face to face with Him. But when he appears to you at that time, you can have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming. And that's the goal. To finish strong for everyone. That is the goal. Just like David. Don't be like Solomon and fall astray and do everything the Lord tells you not to. He did not finish well. And then, of course, you've got to search the Scriptures daily in Acts 17:11. Okay. Just as a reminder, in Daniel, it is such a unique book because from the. From the call of Abraham all the way through Malachi, most of the Old Testament focuses on Israel. Most of it's focused on this Hebrew people that God has called out for a name for himself to be. To be a peculiar nation for him that would be a light to the world of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And this book, though, is the one time that God takes an entire book with a prophet whom he greatly beloved. Beloved and focuses on these five Gentile nations and these from Babylon all the way to the Antichrist kingdom. And it's so unique because it lays out for us today in the church age, everything that we're living through and looking forward to after the rapture of the Church, prophetically speaking. And so it's just such a unique book. And when you look at the chapters, it's really not a long book. It's only 12 chapters, but we've gone through the first six, and they're mainly historical chapters with some visions kind of sprinkled in there. And then the next six are really heavy prophetic chapters. And today we're going to take chapter 10, which, if you remember, the chapters are not in chronological order. And so chapter 10 falls after chapter 6, the lion's den event with Persia, but before the silent years. So it falls right after the lion's den. Remember the 70 weeks that we took last time when we did Daniel nine falls before the lion's den events. And so this is a really neat chapter. Now if you remember the 70s, if you don't get anything out of the book of Daniel, just remember the three seventies, okay? The servitude of the nation, the desolations of Jerusalem and the 70 weeks of Daniel. So the servitude of the nation from the first siege to the decree of Cyrus, that 70 year period started with the first exile from Jerusalem, with Babylon, from the third siege when the temple and Jerusalem were destroyed. That triggers the start of the 70 years of desolations of Jerusalem. So they, they offset a little bit, but both being 70. Okay, so then the decree of Artaxerxes in Persia, when Nehemiah is the cupbearer to the king, that is what triggers the 70 weeks of Daniel or the 490 years that we looked at in Daniel 9. And that 490 year period chronicles from the decree of Artaxerxes from that moment to rebuild the wall in Jerusalem to Jesus riding in on the donkeys in the Gospels, that is 483 of those 490 years. Then there's a gap where we live today in the church age. Then the final seven year period, the 70th week of Daniel, the seven year tribulation is the 490 year culmination of it all. The final seven years of all Gentile history, which then will culminate and end with Jesus as the stone cut without hands coming back and destroying the Antichrist kingdom. So remember, we had Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, and then Rome in two phases, okay? The divided Roman Empire or the Antichrist kingdom. Those are the five Gentile kingdoms that rule the earth from Nebuchadnezzar to the very end when Jesus comes back. So he's going to, he's going to come back and destroy those feet that with the ten toes represent the ten kings. Where the Antichrist comes out of, he puts three down, the other seven consolidate power to him. And then the Antichrist takes over, rules the world for the worst time in human history. And praise God that the Lord poured his wrath out on Jesus on the cross. So you're not appointed to it. If you haven't accepted it, then unfortunately you are appointed to it. So I would highly recommend, if anyone's here and they haven't accepted it. We'll take care of that at the end. If you've not accepted Jesus, his payment for your sin. Okay, now chapter 10 is really interesting. We're going to study this man clothed in linen that comes to Daniel in a vision. And the Lord also pulls back the veil and gives us a peek into the spiritual forces behind nations and empires. So you all know this verse, but Ephesians 6:12. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against what? Four things. Principalities against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Four entities that God calls out that we wrestle against. Now, isn't that interesting? Principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places. Now, they're actually in descending order of rank, principalities being the lowest, spiritual wickedness in high places being the highest. Okay, so. So Satan's kingdom and the third of the angels that fell with him and all these demonic entities that were created out of that, they have an organizational structure, just as we have on our side, where Jesus is the head of all things, where in their side, Satan is the head of their dark kingdom. And then there's these fallen wicked entities under him. Well, the spiritual wickedness in high places, the rulers of darkness of this world, these higher powers. We're going to see that the angel that comes to Daniel in chapter 10 is fighting and wrestling with those entities to get through to Daniel. And there's going to be a really important lesson here for us. What I found interesting, though, okay, God lists four things that we wrestle against. And there's been all of this weird disclosure stuff coming out right in the news, on the mainstream media, going all the way back to Tucker Carlson, who has gone totally off the rails, by the way, for some reason. But going back to him in 2017, where he started disclose UFOs and these different things. If you've been reading the Bible and been a student of the word of God your whole life, none of this should be new to you. That there are interdimensional entities that try to get involved in the affairs of man and disrupt what God is doing. That's very normal in the Word of God. Going all the way back to Jacob and Jacob's Ladder, Genesis 6. I mean, all of you see angels coming in and out of this world all the time in the Bible. But what I found interesting, not too long ago in May on Jesse Waters program, he had a UFO insider on his program. They were talking about how Trump has been disclosing all of these batches of files, right, These UFO files and disclosing them and making them, declassifying them, I should say. Well, he has this guy on and this was the. The article headline. You could read this, go to Fox News, you can find this. But this UFO insider claims that the US has bodies of four different alien species. The Grays, the Nordics, the Insectoids and the Reptilians. Isn't that interesting? That's four. And you go back to Ephesians 6 and we're wrestling against four things. Principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual wickedness and high places. And it's always four. Anytime you get into this weird UFO stuff, they always mention these four. And just in case you don't know this, these are not good entities to deal with, okay? In case you haven't picked that up, these are demonic flags. Fallen entities that are against the word of God and against our King and trying to disrupt and deceive mankind in that they really came here and seeded humanity. And at some point we're going to need a savior. And they're setting up the greatest lie in human history, which will be to what's the excuse for the Rapture? Which is there's a group of people that we're not going to go with our new world order here. So we had to remove them first. Then that God did not create man, they did. And if you try hard enough, it's very new age, you can become like them to a higher level of knowledge. And it's. Satan always has that. That key in every occult, occultic practice is there's some hidden knowledge or higher in level of enlightenment, right? You're trying to get to. It's very Satanic. But that is the lie that is coming that they're trying to plant right now. So when you go to Colossians 1 6, look at this. For by him were all things created that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. So four things again. Thrones, dominions, principalities or powers. All things were created by him and for him. Colossians 2, 14:15. Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us. Now, that phrase may not sound familiar to you, but there was a handwriting of ordinance against us. As humanity we fell, Adam and Eve sinned, they fell into transgression, and as a result we all sinned and fell with them. That handwriting, that's an ancient phrase, but basically there was a handwriting of ordinances or claims against you on your life. Jesus on the cross blotted that out with his blood, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross, and having spoiled principalities and powers. So two of those things, he made a show of them, openly triumphing over them in it. So whoever we are wrestling against, praise God, according to Colossians, they have been defeated. And if you take that mindset into spiritual warfare, you can be victorious. You're operating from a place of victory. You're not operating from a place of defeat. You're operating from a place of, I have victory in Christ, who has blotted out the handwriting of ordinances against me and has already made a shame, an open spectacle of every one of those enemies I have fighting against right now. And you're not in it alone. So you have to invite the God of the universe into this fight with you. Okay? Now, chapter 10, as I mentioned, occurs right after the lion's den event of chapter six. So it does not. Chapter 10 does not explicitly state what vision is being delivered to Daniel. But when you go, if you just keep turning the page, remember chapter and verse separations are. That doesn't mean some of them aren't inspired, but they're man made man. Put those in there. But if you turn the page in your Bible and you go to chapter 11, it confirms that it's the silent years that Daniels gets in the vision after chapter 10. And you can read that in the first two verses of chapter 11. That also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I stood to confirm and to strengthen him. And now will I show thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia, and the fourth shall be the richer than they all. And by his strength, through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Grisha. So at the end of chapter 10, we're gonna see Daniel is prostate and just absolutely weakened. He's had this encounter with Jesus. These other angels have come and talked to him and given him. Things are starting to talk to him and strengthen him and encouraging him and ministering to him. But he is. He almost. He basically passes out in chapter 10. We're going to see. And so they come and try to lift him up. Okay, in verse one here, in the third year of Cyrus, king of Persia, a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar. Now, remember, that's the Babylonian name for him, named after Nebuchadnezzar's gods. And the thing was true, but the Time appointed was long, and he understood the thing, and he had understanding of the vision. So this revelation given to Daniel was something appointed for far out into the future. Okay? It's way out there. In those days, I. Daniel was mourning three full weeks. Now, notice his heart posture and. Sorry, I've been losing my voice for the last week or so, so I'm going to take some drinks while we're talking here. But Daniel, notice his posture. He was mourning. He was deeply moved and troubled for the state of his people. And I am telling you right now, you and I should have that exact same posture for the state of the church. Not. I'm not saying any one church in particular. I'm just saying the church, globally speaking, in the days of Laodicea, the body of Christ right now is so weak and anemic that we take every opportunity we have to fill time in church and services with everything but the word of God. And we fill it with all kinds of leadership talks and messages on how to be better right now and how to manage your time or whatever it is. And at the end of the day, people leave. Nothing changes in their life. They leave. It is literally what Thessalonians talks about, of having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. And the churches across the world right now are not feeding God's people. And so you see every statistic in the church getting worse and worse and worse in terms of divorce rate, addiction to anything you want to think of. And it's all because we do not give the body of Christ the one thing that it needs more than anything, which is the word of God and only the word of God. And so Daniel's looking at the state of his people, and he is mourning for 21 days. And then in verse three, I ate no pleasant bread. Neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth. Neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled. So Daniel's fasting, but notice it's not a complete fast, meaning water only. He's fasting from three things, pleasant bread, meat, wine, and essential oils. You see that? He says, neither did I anoint myself at all. So I think this is the one fast my wife would not be able to do, to leave the essential oils in the cabinet for three weeks. It'd be very tough. We'd have issues. But Daniel does not anoint himself for three weeks with any oil. And so he's setting all of this aside and going to prayer on behalf of his people, the nation of Israel, the spiritual state of the Jewish People the reason why they've been in captivity, they have not listened to God. Okay, in verse 4, and in the 4 and 20th day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel. Now, if you don't know Hiddekel, that river only shows up one other place in the whole Bible. It's one of the rivers that comes out of eden in Genesis 2:14. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel, that is it which goeth forth the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. So if you ever want to know where the Garden of Eden was or is at that time, it was an interdimensional state, so you're not going to be able to get there, I'm just telling you. But at the time where those rivers all met, those four rivers, that's where the garden was where Adam and Eve were originally. So in any case, it's one of those four rivers, and you have to imagine it is one spiritually charged location. If you think interdimensionally. This is just my guess. I've always thought this, but my guess is that Jerusalem, if you were to unfold all of the dimensions that we've lost access to temporarily right now, my guess is that Jerusalem is the center of all creation. That's just my guess, because God's throne is there. But. And I could be wrong, but it's just interesting to think about, but the garden being not far from that, it'll be cool to walk through that garden with Jesus someday. Okay, in verse five, then I lifted up mine eyes and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz. His body also was like the barrel, and his face as the appearance of lightning. And his eyes as lamps of fire. And his arms and his feet like in color to polished brass. And the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude. Two verses that describe a man that Daniel comes face to face with. Now who could this be? Who's this man clothed in linen? Look at the characteristics. He's clothed linen. Revelation 1:13 the loins were girded with fine gold of uphaz. Revelation 1:13 body also like the barrel. You can see his if you study God's throne. All of these precious gems are around it. Face as the appearance of lightning. Revelation 1:16. Eyes as lamps of fire. Revelation 1:14 and 19:12. The arms and feet like in color to polished brass. That's in Revelation 1:15 voice of his words, like the voice of a multitude. That's also in Revelation 1:15. Now this is just my opinion, and you all can call me crazy if you want, I'm good with that. But my opinion is that this man is Jesus. And because we're going to read these verses out of Revelation 1, in Revelation 1, Jesus shows up to John and it lists 24 characteristics of him in that chapter. But if you read these six verses, it describes his physical characteristics. And this sounds a lot like the man standing in front of Daniel. Now, I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks. Now that is the church. And they're on the earth in chapter one. And God tells you that they're the church. When you get to chapter four and five, they are in heaven before the tribulation starts. So it's subtle, but it's a hint of the rapture of the church. Before the wrath of God is poured out in the midst of the seven candlesticks, Jesus is in the midst of his church. One like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot and girt about with about the paps, with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were as a flame fire. There are three places in the Bible that describe Jesus as his eyes as a flame of fire. Here, Revelation 19 and what we just read in Daniel 10. Jesus alone has eyes of fire and his feet like undefined brass, as if they burned in a furnace. And his voice as of the sound of many waters. And he had in his right hand seven stars and out of his mouth when a sharp two edged sword. And his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, fear not, I am the first and the last. I am telling you the only response you can ever have to coming face to face with Jesus is to just fall to your face on the ground. There is no other response but the man clothed in linen. He shows up. Throughout the Bible, Ezekiel was living in a time of great distress and idolatry. It was right before Daniel, but they were contemporaries to some degree. And Ezekiel sees this vision. So there's all these whoredoms and harlotries and idolatries going on in Jerusalem and in the temple. And Ezekiel sees a man going through and saving those committed to God. And you see this in Ezekiel 9, verse 3. And the glory of God of Israel was gone up from the cherub. Whereupon he was to the threshold of the house, and he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's inkhorn by his side. So in the picture, and you could read all of chapter nine to get the whole thing. But the glory of the Lord is departing the temple, and God is leaving the glory out. He's taking it out of the temple because his people are so wicked and they've corrupted that place with idols in the temple. And there's one man going through the group who's the leader, but he's got an inkhorn by his side and he's clothed in linen. And the glory lifting up is the result of those abominations. But Jesus is going through and he's marking those people that are committed to God before the judgment takes hold. Now, this same thing is true. When the rapture occurs, the Holy Spirit, the glory will depart. And all of us that are marked with him are departing with him. We're going to get out of here, Praise God. And it might be sooner than any of us in this room think. But. And the Lord said unto him, go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. Now, God always has this small remnant that he has sealed and saves prior to a judgment. No, in his family, Lot, in his family, the church prior to the tribulation, you know, etc. There in Ezekiel, he even places a mark upon Cain in Genesis, despite the slaughter of abel in Genesis 4:15. You can read about that. But the question, you know, really is, are you marked as one that cries to God for all the abominations you see in our world? And are you marked? Does God see your heartache? Are you chasing after the heart of God in that when you look around, are you too grieved by what you see? Lot was tormented by what he saw and heard. You shouldn't be tormented, but you should be grieved. And part of Lot's torment was the result of accepting those abominations, not being grieved for them. He wanted to remain at the city gate. So the seal of the living God. Now, it's interesting, during the tribulation, God seals the 144,000. Remember in Revelation 7, 2 and 3, and I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying, hurt not the earth, neither the sea nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. Now back in Ezekiel 9, 4, that word mark is tav. It's actually the last word letter in the Hebrew Alphabet. It literally means a desire or mark as an exemption from judgment. Often depicted as a cross. It's where we get the letter T, so the lowercase T, like a cross. It's also the last letter of the Hebrew Alphabet, as I mentioned. And Jesus said, I am the first and the last, the Alpha and the Omega. Or in the Hebrew language you'd say the Aleph and the Tav in your notes. You can read that little excerpt there, that screenshot I did, but it talks about that word specifically. So that's interesting. The man clothed in linen with that inkhorn was going around and he was marking a cross on all of those people that had committed themselves to God. I just love that he's sealing believers. In Ezekiel, that man clothed in linen appears in a vision of Daniel here in chapter 10. He also shows up in Daniel 12 Walking on Water of all things that should sound familiar. Daniel 12, 6, 7 and 1 said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, how long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swear by him that liveth forever. Remember Jesus did that in the New Testament too. That it shall be for a time, times and a half, or the dividing of time, or the three and a half years, the back half of the tribulation. So a seven year period. But the back three and a half years is the most horrible time in human history. And when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished. So, and again, this is all just my thought. You all can have a different. There are a lot of people, I will tell you, that believe this man clothed in linen with eyes of fire and other things is just an angel in Daniel 10 I just happen to see it differently and I could be wrong, but go search the Scriptures and see. I'm just giving you where I get all of this from. In Matthew 27:59, there's the same man wrapped in linen. When Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth. And that same linen was left behind as a testimony along with the napkins separately in John 25:7. And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying. So this is obviously after the resurrection, yet went he not in. Then cometh Simon Peter, following him and went into the sepulcher and see if the linen clothes lie and the nap. This is the only place in the whole Bible you get this little detail. And the napkin that was about his head, not lined with the clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. So on this stone bed in the tomb, you had Jesus linen clothes folded up, laying neatly after the resurrection, right there. Then you had the napkin that was wrapped around his head from the helmet of thorns. Not just a crown, but a helmet in the Greek. And it was piercing the top of his head. But that napkin they wrapped around his head, folded and lined separately. And the reason he does that is because in the Jewish custom, if you place your napkin folded separately after a dinner, then it was a sign to the host that you would return again. So you enjoyed your dinner, and I'll be back. So it was a subtle gesture by Jesus to the Israelites that I'm coming back again. I enjoyed my time, and I'll be back. So it's very subtle. But that man clothed in linen throughout the Bible, in my view, is Jesus. Okay, so then Daniel sees Jesus now, and I, Daniel alone saw the vision. So he has other men with him that don't see Jesus. It's kind of like whenever Paul or Saul at the time was on the road to Damascus and he sees Jesus, but none of the people with him see him, remember? And Jesus comes to him and says, paul or Saul? Saul, why do you persecute me? And he says, that's right there where Saul gets saved when he says, who, Lord? And he confesses with he does Romans 10, 9. He confesses with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believes in his heart that he died and rose again and he was instantaneously born again right there on the road to Damascus. Okay? So a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves. So Daniel and these guys that are with him, Jesus shows up, A great quaking falls upon his compadres, so to speak. They run and hide. Daniel alone sees the vision. Therefore, I was left alone and saw this great vision. And there remained no strength in me. For my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength. So Daniel is completely weakened, yet heard I the voice of his words. And when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face and my face toward the ground, and behold, a hand touched me. So now in verse 10, from verse 10 on is clearly an angel. It's not Jesus, because Jesus does not need Michael to come and fight for him. But there's an angel, a messenger that's coming to Daniel. So Daniel sees Jesus in all of his power and authority. He falls on his face. He has no strength left in him. He's been fasting for 21 days. Now. Here comes an angel to touch Daniel and get him to stand upright and to give him a message. Okay, A hand touched me which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands in verse 11, here. And he said unto me, o Daniel, a man greatly beloved. So there's one of the places where we get that Daniel was the only prophet or person in the Old Testament that's spoken of that way. Understand the words, I speak unto thee and stand upright, for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. Then said he unto me, fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. Now, this message from God was dispatched from day one, but we're going to see this glimpse into the true spiritual warfare of who we're really wrestling against that goes on in order to get that message to Daniel, to God's people. Daniel set his heart to understand and seek God, and he did not waver, even if it took an extra three weeks. So how often do we get impatient today in this, what a lot of people like to call this microwave society, you know, that we live in today, this instantaneousness of. I need something now. There's no delaying. There's no waiting for the right time. It's just instantaneous. I need this now. Now. What's going on in your world now? Just think about this. That needs an answer from God. Maybe if you put away the essential oils, you'd get it. You know, put them away and let's talk to God. So now, if you committed to three weeks of fasting from something and praying to get that answer, I can almost guarantee you you would get an answer. Fasting is a powerful spiritual thing in the word of God. Committing yourself to the Lord and being prostrate before our King is absolutely something that the church, globally speaking, again, takes for granted today. If you will do that, you don't have to fast a Water, fast. Only you could just say, okay, Lord, I'm going to give up this for. Pick it. Ask him how long. A lot of people do that in the Catholic Church and call it Lent, you know, but it's a good thing to set something aside and pray to the king and just commit some time to him and. And seek the Lord for your provision. He is desperate to answer all of our prayers. You see in Revelation 4 and 5 that they're all in golden vials sitting before his throne. He does not miss a one of them. And oftentimes your prayer, you may think it's going unanswered, but the timing may just not be right. And sometimes I will tell you one of the biggest blessings from God is an unanswered prayer, because you really don't know what you're asking for. And he does. And sometimes the grass is not greener on the other side. And so. But if you will set your heart towards seeking God and allow him to answer, how he will answer in his timing, it will always be right. But you've got to have a posture of submission, humility and longing. Remember, Second Chronicles 7:14. If my people, if my people will humble themselves, seek my face, pray, fast. Then he will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and cleanse our land. So take it to the throne room of the universe. Now, in verse 13, here, this is the angel speaking to Daniel now. But the prince of the kingdom of persia withstood me one and 20 days. So this is. This verse is what gives me pause to say, okay, this is someone else, not Jesus. Jesus certainly would not need help from Michael to get a message through to Daniel. But lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, and I remained there with the kings of Persia. So this messenger, when Daniel set his heart to fast before God, this messenger was dispatched. But he had a deep spiritual warfare to get through to Daniel. It took Daniel's 21 days of praying and fasting to get that angel through. Finally. Now, just think about that. You have a part in the spiritual warfare going on that you may not even realize. And what would have happened had Daniel stopped at 20 days, you know, or 19 days? Or what if he stopped an hour early? A lot of times when you think you can't go on any longer is the time when the Lord says, press on and dig deep and find your strength in him. But we see the spiritual warfare that's happening all around us. And Daniel's engaging in the battle. He's praying, he's fasting, he's on the front lines. He is mourning for his people. He was fasting for those 21 days. The messenger is fighting behind in that interdimensional veil that we can't see. He's fighting the prince of the power of Persia, this spiritual wickedness in high places, giving orders to powers and principalities and rulers of darkness. And they're fighting with this angel, okay? To get through. And there's a deliberate link here from the Holy Spirit to stay engaged to the end that it took all those 21 days. Now, you have a lot of messages. God would love to get through to you, I promise. And there is a lot of battling going on for you right now in the spirit that the Lord is waiting for you to engage in and join the fight. Don't go through life like Emmett from the Lego movie, that everything is awesome. You know, just walking through. And I love that movie, by the way. If you all haven't seen that movie, you gotta check it out. It's hilarious. But sometimes everything's not awesome. It's awesome in the Lord, but you've gotta battle and fight through things. So the messenger is in the battle. He calls in reinforcements from Michael. Now, that's the first place in the Bible Michael shows up is in Daniel 10. And you can learn a lot about Daniel later in chapter 10. But I will show thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth. And there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael, your prince. So you can learn from Daniel 10:21 that Michael is the prince of Israel, the angel or the archangel, petitioned as a general, a warrior angel over Israel, okay? One that probably was engaged not too many months ago. Of all those rockets that supernaturally were hit out of the sky over Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, Michael's very active today fighting for Israel in Daniel 12. 1. Now, this is speaking of the tribulation. And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people. And there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation, even to that same time. And at that time, thy people, Israel, the Jews, shall be delivered, everyone that shall be found, written in the book. So that that time, that's what Jesus quotes in Matthew 24 as a time of trouble that will never be again and never has been. He's quoting Daniel 12:1, speaking of the tribulation, Jude 1:9. Yet Michael the Archangel, when contending with the devil, he disputed about the body of Moses. You remember our study in Jude, Why Michael and Satan were Fighting over the body of Moses durst not bring against him a railing accusation. But said the Lord rebuke thee. And then in Revelation 12:7, and there was war in heaven. So during the Tribulation, Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels. Now in Jude 1:9, you see who has the authority and what is Michael's weapon of his warfare? The Lord rebuke thee. That's the same weapon you and I can use today. The word of God. Okay, verse 14. Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days. Okay, so this is a vision for the end times. For yet the vision is for many days. Okay, so what's coming in Daniel 11 applies to the Tribulation. It is for, quote, the latter days. Now what's going on in the latter days? Well, after the latter days, in Hosea 3:5, afterward shall the children of Israel return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. That's incredible. Incredible. And shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days. See, at the end of the tribulation, when the millennium is set up, that verse is packed so much. There's also verses in Ezekiel and Isaiah that talk about David being resurrected as the king of Israel. Jesus is going to be the king of the world, but David will rule over the nation of Israel and David's going to become their king. And all nations are going to go to Jerusalem to seek the Lord. That is incredible. But that's what's going to happen after the latter days. In the latter days, after the Tribulation, that's going to set up the millennium. And it will be a one world government. Now everything Satan does is a counterfeit, which is why they are trying to set up a one world government without the king. It's why the United nations quotes Isaiah chapter 2, that they shall beat their swords into plowshares and spears into pruning hooks. Nations shall not rise up against nations, neither shall they learn war anymore. But they always cut off the part of the verse that there shall be one king ruling over them. Jesus. And they cut that off. But that's what Satan's trying to do right now. So if you want to know where we are, watch Israel. Watch what Satan's trying to do to get the church caught in the end times to have a one world government before the Rapture. But it's not going to happen. Praise God that the Lord will intervene before that time and call us home. So. But Jesus ruling from his throne we're just about finished here. But it's promised all over the Bible. And in Luke 1:32,33, he shall be great and shall be called the Son of the highest. And the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David, and he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever. And of his kingdom there shall be no end. You know that one verse when Mondo was here a month ago or so or whenever, and he was talking about amillennialism and all these different things. I mean, you could disprove it all with just that one single part of the Bible. And it's amazing to me that that promise purveys the entire word of God. And somehow it's still not enough to convince people that God is not through with Israel. He's not through with that nation. He is going to rule on the earth from the throne in Jerusalem over David and over the house of Jacob and. And over the entire earth. Praise God. It's going to be forever. Now in verse 15, in chapter 10, here. And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb. And behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men, touched my lips. Then I opened my mouth and spake and said unto him that stood before me, o my lord, by the vision, my sorrows are turned upon me, and. And I have retained no strength. For how can the servant of this my lord, talk with this, my lord? For as for me, straightway, there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me. Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man. And he strengthened me and said, o man, greatly beloved, fear not. Peace be unto thee, Be strong. Yea, be strong. And we had spoken unto me, I was strengthened. And he said, and said, let my lord speak, for thou has strengthened me. Then said he, knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? And now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia. And when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come. Now, Greece at this point wasn't even a world power. It was a small island nation. It was going to be 150 years before becoming a world power from this point. So. Yet this messenger knows he has to go fight against the power behind that throne as well. So he's telling Daniel, okay, I've got to leave, but I've got to fight back through the king of Persia and back through the king of Greece, the prince behind the power of Greece. That's pretty incredible. You get quite a glimpse into the dark side there. But I will show thee in the last verse here that which is noted in the Scripture of truth. And there is none that holdeth with me in these things. But Michael, your prince. Okay, if you want to go to second kings 6, 8, 23, you can also find Elisha. Not Elijah, but Elisha, he's being chased down by the Arminians. And in any case, they're surrounding him in that. In that little house. If you remember, he's with his servant and they're being hunted. And his servant goes out in the morning and sees they're surrounded by these chariots of this enemy all around them, and he runs and he's like. He's like, master, Master, wake up. You know, what are we gonna do here? And there. There are. There's the armies surrounding us. We have nothing. It's just you and I and member. Elisha says, lord, open his eyes. And he opens his eyes and he goes out and he sees chariots of fire surrounding the enemy. And Elisha said, don't worry. Those that are with us are more than those that are with them. And it's an amazing part of the Bible because you get a really good look at God just tucks those things in throughout the scripture of these glimpses in the spiritual realm that you get a small look at, it's just incredible. But Daniel, he was captive in this wicked society, and he never stopped serving God. And that's the goal for every one of us. And unlike Ahaz, Ahaz in 2nd Chronicles 28, 22, 23, he looked to the. Because Israel is being attacked and destroyed. He looked to the gods of those that were defeating them because he said, well, they must be the real God. They're defeating us. He never stopped to realize, wait, they're defeating us because we've turned our back on our God, the real God. Daniel could have taken the same approach as Ahaz, but he didn't. And he stayed strong all the way to the end. And I would just encourage all of you to look to the Maker of heaven and earth for your strength and to be your. Your the captain of the Lord's host, like we studied in Joshua, to lead in that battle. Now, if you are here and you don't know Jesus, or if you're watching out there somewhere and you don't know the Lord, just like Saul on the road to Damascus. It's Romans 10, 9, that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart, that God hath raised him from the dead. You shall be saved. It's so simple. You'll be born again instantaneously, never to be without the king. And then you can start your path on the sanctification process. And to get to know the God of the universe, it's just the most incredible journey you will ever go on. And when you get on that road and you surrender to the king and you look to the maker of heaven and earth, gosh, everything else just kind of starts to pale in comparison, I'll tell you. I pray that you would, as we pray during the time of worship, Lord, there are many, many marriages that need rescuing. Lord, you are the God of life, you are the God of resurrection, you are the God of redemption, you are the King. That is absolutely for us and for your people. And so, God, we just pray that you would breathe new life into all of those marriages that the enemy is trying to obliterate right now. God, your word says that the enemy came to steal, kill and destroy. And the first thing he can steal is to get us off our course and our walk with you. And if he can get us isolated, he can kill and destroy. And so, Father, I just pray that you would rebuke, just as Michael did in Jude 1:9, Lord, that you would rebuke the enemy and the attack on your people right now, in their homes, in their marriages, in the lives of their children. God, I just pray that you would be their strength and go before them. Lord, there is no amount of sin that could keep you in that tomb. So, Lord, for anyone, God, that thinks. They're too far, God, I pray that you would remind them. That there is absolutely nothing, God out of your reach, Lord, pull them back instantaneously and breathe life into them, God. And we thank you for doing that this day. So, Lord, be with us in our lives in the weeks and months and years ahead and draw near to us. God, we love you. Thank you for the book of Daniel. Thank you for the lessons. May they not be wasted on us. And we love you, Lord. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
