Hello, everyone. Welcome to the program today. Monte Gonzalez here in studio with our good friend Ken Michael. And we got some awesome news to share with all of you. Before we do, just want to remind everybody about our upcoming conference, June 4th through 7th in Colorado Springs. It's going to be an awesome time, as it always is when we get a chance to go there, really in the early part of summer, late spring. Colorado is beautiful. And if you want information about that, you can go to prophecywatchers.com and just scroll down to the conference. We are calling it Rapture in the Rockies because we are hoping that we get raptured out. Wouldn't that be awesome? While we're there talking about the Lord and his soon return. And so it's going to be a great time. Also, be on the lookout because if you can't make it with us in person to Colorado, the live stream is going to be available. We have 18 speakers. There's going to be 40 some messages. It's going to be awesome. As you know, things are moving quite fast. Every time we say that 2025 was quick, 2026 is already off to a roaring start. Also want to let everybody know that we have an upcoming trip to Israel in May which might or might not happen. We'll see. It might get postponed, but we have another trip already in the works for January, late January of 2027. You can check that out at israel2027.com it's going to be another great time. Well, it is an honor and a pleasure to be here with you, mano. Thanks for having me.

Yeah. And for those, Ken and I, we have known each other for a few years now. We've been traveling internationally all over the world with Billy Crone and Tom Hughes and Brandon Lee Brainard and others, different parts, just sharing the gospel, doing missions trips. And also Ken has been a speaker at our conferences for several years now. It's been pretty awesome. He's going to be at our, at our June conference and our Branson conference. So it's been good. So we kind of have, we kind of have a little announcement here that, you know, for the sake of the people that might not know, you kind of give a little bit of background, then we can get a bigger background. But obviously we've been traveling and you've been an international speaker, conference speaker, other things and church speaker. Yeah.

So for those that are aware of what you and I were doing. And what I was doing, I was with Olive Tree Ministries. I was on the radio program there, and we podcasted myself and Pastor Josh, and that's when I was going out and speaking at churches and conferences. And so after 25 years, Olive Tree Ministries decided that they weren't going to do the broadcast anymore. So there was no more radio. There was no more traveling, obviously, for Pastor Josh and I. So I kind of became a free agent, and I've been taking the last couple months off to kind of reflect and see what I wanted to do. And I've gotten messages from several pastors across the country from around the world that we've gone to speak with. And obviously, I've spoken with you on a few occasions. And you came up with an idea that I certainly thought was wonderful.

Yes, I mean, Ken and I were talking and kind of asked him, well, what do you want to do? What are you going to do now? And different things. And I said, well, why don't you come and join us? Because certainly join Prophecy Watchers, because I've obviously traveled with Ken all around the world, in different places, even in churches in the United States. And Ken said, hey, let's pray about that. And so what we really want to share with all of you is that Ken is going to be joining Prophecy Watchers and kind of be our. What would we call it? Representative. A representative. An evangelist out there. So what we want to share, we'll get a little bit more into the details, but we're just trying to share that many times people will write in to our ministry and ask for. For myself or even Gary at times to come and speak at a church, and my schedule is super, super busy, and so sometimes I'm able to go again. I've joined Ken at other places and other times I can't. But to have Ken here to respond to the call, he's already been doing this for several years. And so this is such a. We're excited about it because obviously you and I have gotten to know each other, and we obviously endorse you at our conferences and stuff. And so to have you go out there and continue to share the gifts that you have with the church and to equip them and to educate them and to just share all the things, we're excited.

Yeah, well, not as excited as I am, because it just shows how God works. You know, he opens doors, he closes doors, and in this case, when one door closed, this door opened. And I just want to tell you it's an honor and a Blessing to be a part of the team. I'm so excited and looking forward to it, I can't tell you.

Yeah, it's going to be good because again, not only does Ken speak at our conferences, but also just opportunities to write for the magazine and different things that he would want to do. We've done podcasts together. Those will continue as well. And for the sake of those that might not know, kind of your background, which I think kind of just describe how God has brought you over the last 10, 15 years to this place and your background as a detective, et cetera.

Yeah, I was in law enforcement for 30 years. I had an extensive background in the criminal justice system, investigations detective. I was involved in the schools when I was there. I was a juvenile detective, investigated juvenile crimes. And after 30 years, I thought, you know what? I'm going to retire. And my dream was to have a lake home, which. Which I have, and then a home out west somewhere in the desert maybe, where I could go in the winter and play golf.

Get out of Minnesota. Which I did. But I. You know what? I felt such an emptiness because after three years, I'm like, is this it? You know, you can only fish and golf and goat and all that? Yeah, it's fun. And not that there's anything wrong with that. I still do that once in a while, but there was just this emptiness. And I got into ministry. I started out in the security part of it. I was the security director for several years. And then as I got to hear all of these pastors and speakers talk about eschatology and Bible prophecy, I really dug into it and I became just enthralled with it. In fact, I started doing research and studying, taking online courses. And there were three things having a law enforcement background that really intrigued me. And those three things that really got me hooked on the Bible and eschatology and Bible prophecy was one Bible prophecy out of all of the prophecies. There's over a thousand of them. Over half of them have been fulfilled, literally. Well, that's scientifically and mathematically impossible for that to happen. I mean, both biblical and secular mathematicians have figured out that's impossible. So only God can predict the future, past, present, future. And so that enthralled me and really got me interested in. And then as a detective, when I would get to a crime scene, the first thing I would interview is witnesses. Well, the witnesses that saw what Christ did were actually there. You know, some of them were secondhand, but they were witnesses that actually saw What Jesus did all of the miracles, healing the blind. I mean, imagine a paraplegic sitting there and he just says, arise, get up and walk. And they do. I mean, and it was witnessed by people that hated him. And then you see the witnesses that saw him bring people back from the dead. His best friend, Lazarus, he brought back from the dead after four days. And then he went to the cross and sacrificed his blood for you and me so that whoever believes in him will have eternal life. So, I mean, over 500 of the brethren saw him alive. He was dead, and now he's alive. So, I mean, it just got me hooked. And then we've been to Israel. You see the archeology that proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that everything in the Bible is factual and happened just like it says. So that really, those three things really got me hooked on the Bible. So I was just able to listen to these speakers and I was asked at some point, hey, why don't you know this stuff? Why don't you start going out and speaking at some of these events? So I tried it out because I did a lot of teaching in law enforcement. I was a SWAT instructor, use of force instructor, went out and taught. I taught schools how to prevent active shooter scenarios, and I trained our department on that. So I had a lot of experience in training. So it kind of the God just,

where we're at today. If you would have told me when I retired from law enforcement that I'd be sitting here with you doing this, going all over the world, teaching and preaching the Bible, I would have said, are you crazy? But that's how God works.

So phenomenal. And some of the things that I've seen, again, internationally is again, his attention to detail, which I appreciate, but that's the detective mindset. So to me, I find it so awesome that the Lord has taken all of those things. The public speaking, the attention to detail, looking at scripture. It reminds me as well of. I forgot the guy's name, but I think it's called, like Christian Cold Case or something like that.

Yeah, that's him.

Yeah, he's wonderful at that. I interviewed him. He's just a fantastic interviewer, apologist and stuff. Yes, he's spotted. And so when I interviewed him, I could relate to everything he was.

You guys are probably talking shop. I'm sure it was wonderful. And the other thing that over the past few years is you again, and even the Lord, you know, again, you're conference speaker and you've had radio Experience now and television experience and different things and podcasting. So God has really trained you, but you've been able to interview lots of people.

And you know, maybe give us a couple of the highlights of that of even recently. I mean, again, you've been able to interview a lot of people, not only just religiously, biblically and stuff prophetically, but even some of the behind the scenes with the things that are happening in our culture. That's what I appreciate, how God has really trained you up is you really are encouraged about the culture and how the Christian can change the culture.

Well, see, I saw firsthand the rise of Islamists that are in the country right now. And when you look at, I'm from Minneapolis, so when you look at what's

happening as a police officer. Right. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

So when you look at what's happening there and people are like, well, how did that happen? How could we allow that to happen? And I said, we saw this. I saw this 40 years ago when, when they came here and they told us that they weren't going to assimilate to our culture. They told us that they're here to implement Sharia law. And at the time I kind of laughed. I'm like, you're, you're in the United States. That's never going to happen. Well, now we're seeing it and they're very patient. So culturally I saw that. And when you look at what the Bible says, that, you know, these religions are going to come together and then people are going to come together and go against each other, I mean, you can see that being set up right now. And I think one of the things that, you know, you and I are going to talk about later is the rise of Islam and communism and all of these anti social groups, antifa, and all of these groups that are coming together to try and take down our republic. And that I think is one of the biggest threats that we see to our nation. Because you and I were in Europe and we saw it firsthand what's going on over there. I don't know if Europe can recover. And you and I were talking earlier, I don't know if some of these cities in America, in America are going to recover. Minneapolis is one of them. And we can go right across the board. Portland, Seattle, Dearborn, Dearborn, Patterson, New Jersey. And there's cities in Ohio. I mean, that's what's happening. City by city is getting taken over. And I think that's one of the biggest threats that we face right now.

Yeah, it really is Crazy. And we feel that it's, again, one of the goals that we have certainly is to preach the gospel, especially in Europe. Europe's very dark. We come into these places and the church is the remnant. It's a remnant church. And just joining in fellowship with them is phenomenal. But we're seeing more and more of that here again in the United States where you have people reach out to our ministry and the other ministries. Can you please come do a speak at our church? Because maybe the pastor doesn't feel equipped or maybe he just maybe isn't interested as much in eschatology or he's not as confident. And so we've had opportunities to go and to speak at different churches. And so people, people will organize some of these conferences or even just coming, having a single person. I've gone out and spoken at churches just by myself. And certainly Ken has done that also. So if that's you, if you want to do that, reach out to Ken.
