Okay. Yeah, it looks like I'm up. Okay. All right, well, what I wanted to talk to you today about, the scrolls are amazing. And basically, just to give you a brief summary, the scrolls were discovered in the early 40s, and Israel was becoming a nation, or just about to. And there's a prophecy, I believe, in scriptures about the scrolls. We're going to look at that in a minute. But when they were discovered, everybody talked about them, everyone was excited about them, but it was all just copies of scripture. So the main idea is now we have scriptures a thousand years older than the ones from around the 11th century. And they said the same thing. So that was just the cool idea. The fact that apparently the scriptures haven't been tampered with. We have more evidence. You know, it's a witnessing technique. And then it kind of got dropped. Everybody's like, yeah, Dead Sea Scrolls, we know all about that. That's kind of one of Satan's tactics. I thought it was interesting. In 1947, people have been talking about. We had Roswell, which is beginning to wake people up to UFOs and what I believe to be demonic manifestations. But in 1947, we also had the discovery of the Nagamati Library, which is the gnostic cultic junk, trying to say that Jesus is somebody else and there's multiple gods and we save ourselves and all that kind of stuff. So it's interesting to see a deception coming. I think Satan knew. Ah, the time is short. Very next year we have Israel become a nation and the real scrolls begin to be discovered. But it took years before all the caves went through. And there's actually hundreds of caves. And they've went through over 50 caves, most of which are empty. And out of which, so far 12 caves have been called the Dead Sea scroll caves because they found writing, pottery, you know, some sort of writing in there. Dating it from that Cave 11 is probably the most important because of the theology that is taught. And I want to talk to you about the Damascus Covenant. There's something called the Damascus Covenant, the community rule. There's 4Q instruction. There's a lot of things about their theology. And we used to talk about the 400 silent years between the Testaments. Nobody knows what happened. And it's really hokey because you've got very descriptive. This guy was named this. He lived to be exactly 27 years old. Then the new guy came on board, you know, the new priest or whatever his name was. This ruled exactly so many years, very meticulous. You get to the 400 silent years. And it's like, yeah, somebody named Simon. It might have been his uncle or his cousin. Nobody knows. It was probably that guy, but it might have been someone else. It's like, how do you go from being meticulous to you don't know anything except that the information is deliberately erased, you know. And now we have the Dead Sea Scrolls and they're not silent anymore. We have very meticulous dates of who did what when and things that happen. We're going to discuss some of that today. So it's interesting. And now we find out, basically the story is Jews believed the Testament or the Old Testament and understood it in the same way Christians do. According to the scrolls, they believe that there's one God who manifests in three persons. The Messiah was going to be God incarnate. He was going to come to Earth to die for our sins. Somehow that reconciles us to God. And there's different ages. He's going to start the age of grace when he comes. Very, very specific prophecies. There is a ton of commentary on the Old Testament prophets and a lot of extra biblical prophecies. Mainly, I'd say about 90% of them deal with the first coming. So that's not too super exciting for us. Except they're all accurate. That's amazing. And there are a few. We're going to get into a few of them today. Second coming prophecies. So let's get started. So talking about the scrolls, we want to start with a scene, history, give you a little bit about them. And this is pretty interesting, I think to me, there is a text in Isaiah and we're going to look at that first. This is Isaiah 29. And basically before I read this, the famous archeologist was the, or professor rather was the guy who got the very first Dead Sea Scroll. It's Isaiah. And he got permission to get it. But they wanted a whole lot of money. So you know how it goes. You got to wait. You got to wait. You got to wait for funding. Finally he talks about the idea that finally one day they got enough money, got a check to go down and find and buy from a Bedouin, the Isaiah scroll. So he's excited. He goes down to get it. He gets it, he buys it, purchases it, now Israel owns it. So now he's going to turn right around and go back to the university where it's safe, put it under glass and it'll be the first Dead Sea Scroll. Come to find out you can't get there anymore. Apparently Israel had declared Itself a state this morning. And we're now at war. And it's way too dangerous to take something like that into a war zone. So he has to take it elsewhere until after the war, which was very, very short. So that's his testimony. And I just thought that was interesting. The day that Israel becomes a nation is the day we are able to read the very first Dead Sea scroll, which happens to be the prophet Isaiah. And Isaiah says this. Woe to Ariel. Ariel is a name for Jerusalem. Woe to Ariel, the city where David dwelt add year to year. Let them kill the sacrifices. Yet I will distress Ariel, and there will be the heavens, heaviness and sorrow rather. And it will be unto me as Ariel or sacrifice of fire. I will camp against roundabout, lay siege against thee with a mount, raise forts against thee, and thou shalt be brought down. So this is a prophecy of Israel doing its own thing, doing its own sacrifices. But God is not pleased. God is going to side with invaders and Israel, Jerusalem will be be brought down. So this is talking about the time of the Roman expulsion. This is the first century. So this is what happens now. That happens. The next part says, you will be brought down and sometime later shall speak out of the dust of the ground. Your speech will be low as of out of the dust. Your voice shall be as of one who has a familiar spirit, like a ghost out of the ground. And your speech shall whisper out of the dust. So if my great great great grandfather that I've never met wanted to tell me something, and I can't conjure his spirit up or anything like that, what is the only way that could possibly happen? I find out that he left me a written record, a letter, and I get a hold of this thing, and I get to read what my great great great great grandfather said. That's what we're talking about. So these ancient records are apparently buried in the dust of the ground somewhere. It's really interesting now it goes on and says, moreover, the multitude of your strangers shall be like the dust, like the multitude of the terrible ones will be like chaff that passes away. And it shall be in an instant, suddenly. So what's going on here is in the first few verses, God is angry. He sides with the Romans, destroys Israel, and there's these voices left in the dust. The time they begin to speak is the time when there's apparently another war with Israel. This time, God's on Israel's side, and the invading armies will be like a bad dream. You know, like when you're Scared, you're almost getting ready to get killed and you wake up and it's all gone. It's what happens here, that's what happens a lot. So. And just as a side note, the scrolls are amazing and I believe there's a lot more up there. But politics always gets in the way. Don't go dig over there because that might one day be Palestinian territory, or that might be this or might be that. So you don't have permission to look. Usually when a war happens, people confiscate things, and I don't like wars, but I'm always excited when a war happens. When this is over, even if it's a small one, what new thing accidentally appears somewhere? I just want photos. But this I believe to be a prophecy of the Dead Sea Scrolls coming back as history shows that it actually happened. So that is really, really amazing. And everybody's excited because the scrolls prove the scriptures are not tampered with. But what about the rest of the story? So here is a part of. It's called 4Q266. I'm just going to show you some scrolls and talk about them when we do this. Q means Qumran. So it's the area of qumran, it's the fourth cave, and it's the 266th scroll that was found there. Cave number four has literally over half of all the scrolls. We have over 900 scrolls. Some are pretty big, some are very, very small, but they are amazing. So this is what this says. This gives you an idea. This record is written for the instruction of the laws by the instructor for the sons of Light, to avoid the ways of wickedness, until the completion of the appointed time for the visitation upon the spirit of iniquity. God will destroy all of her works, blot out the errant spirit of those boundary movers. There's a lot in here. First off, there are appointed times when prophecy takes place. And I know if you're like me, I always pray that the Rapture hurry up and come. And I don't know when it is. We're not supposed to know. We probably will never know until it happens and then I can say, I told you. But anyway, we don't know about that stuff. But the Father knows everything. So as far as the Father's concerned, there's this date and it's set and he's not going to hurry it along or speed it up. He's got everything planned and we're waiting these appointed times, these moadim. And this is the appointed time for the visitation. You remember when Jesus said, I would have gathered you as a hen gathers a her chicks under her wings, but you didn't even know the day of your visitation. I mean, that is pathetic. I sent you an email with a date and you didn't even read it. You didn't understand it. You can't read English. What's wrong with you? That's basically what's going on here. Because there are all these texts and you can figure this out just by looking at the Old Testament. I mean, it's not hard, really. There's supposed to be, according to Isaiah, a. A Messiah named Yeshua. There's supposed to be a star that marks his birth. He's supposed to act as a priest, which means he's got to live to be at least 30 years old. He's going to be executed. The date of the execution can be calculated, you know, give or take a couple years at least. But from Daniel chapter nine, and there's just all these extra things if you understand the scriptures. So. So when you look at a calendar and it's been about 30 years since that miraculous sign in the heavens, there's a guy named Yeshua claiming to be Messiah and he's healing blind people and raising the dead. I think we have a winner. It's not hard, you know, to see these kind of things. It's like when Daniel walks in and sees the handwriting on the wall. Scripture says, he doesn't even bother to look at it. He says, okay, I'm going to explain this to you. You already got prophecies of Isaiah about Cyrus being a ruler of Persia is going to take over Babylon. And right now we're being besieged by Persians whose rulers named Cyrus. And there's a prophecy about us being here for 70 years. If you grab a calendar, that's tomorrow. And then now there's this handwriting on the wall. I don't even need to read it. It's not hard. We grow at home. And if you don't pay attention, you. You're dead. Done. And then you're having a drunken party with the Lord's, you're dead. That's all there is to it. But a lot of these things, if we're the sons of the prophets, when it begins to happen, it just clicks. It's not that hard. But there's these extra prophecies. So this is written by the instructor, which is a prophet or a prophet instructor for the sons of light. That was a name for the Essenes as compared to the Pharisees who were called the sons of darkness to avoid their ways of wickedness, to live out peacefully until the contemplation or the completion rather of the appointed time of the visitation. So they understood there are visitations. And Jesus talks about this. He talks about there's a time when you can work, when it's light and there's a time of darkness when no man can work. We're supposed to go out and witness. And if you do right now, they might make fun of you, but that's it. There's a time when you go out and try to witness, somebody will kill you. You'll get arrested and executed. On a time of darkness, you just don't run out in the street and witness. You try to witness, but you have to do it differently. Everything is different. And you have to. And they have all sorts of instructions on how to do this because the end of their age is going to be just like the end of our age. And they give us a lot of pointers so God will destroy their works and blot out this errant spirit of the boundary movers. So if you, if you live next door to me and we have a lot of acreage and we have a fence between you and me, and at nighttime while you're sleeping, I move the fence, I move it, you know, 100ft your direction. I just got like millions of dollars of land, you know, that's a boundary mover and that's what it means literally. But it becomes an idiom. God has set forth certain boundaries and certain laws and if you move them, you're basically an idolater. And that's what the Pharisees and Sadducees did, all sorts of stuff like that. They're boundary movers and there's lots of examples given in here. So God will destroy that. Today we have the same thing. We have a church. A lot of us try to follow the Bible and it doesn't matter if you are mistaken on some things. Do you believe? Do you accept Jesus as Messiah? Then you're a brother. So let's try to figure stuff out. But there are churches that say they're churches that teach some pretty horrible things. And then there are full blown cults that are still called Christian churches. So those are the kind of things we're talking about. And in their mind, Pharisees and Sadducees were cults because if we've always believed Messiah is going to come and save us because he's God incarnate and we've got the dates and all the other prophecies and these guys say, nah, we don't believe in prophecy. I don't consider you a brother. I mean, how can you deliberately disobey the Father? The scrolls talk about how it's a serious sin to ignore prophecy. So if you walk into my church and I'm up there giving communion and I'm drunk because I'm drinking the wine, that's pretty serious sin. If you find out I'm having an affair with somebody, that's a pretty serious sin. If you find out I'm saying, ah, prophecy. We'll figure that out when it happens, that's an equally serious sin. That's spooky, isn't it? Never thought about it like that. But that's what the scrolls teach. And it makes sense. Something bad is coming. I'm supposed to warn you and you don't believe me. That's not good. Okay, here's the history of the Zadok order. Basically, the priests were supposed to be from Levi, and then it was shortened. You had to be a high priest from a direct descendant of Aaron several generations down. There was a problem. Long story short, all the priests have to be a descendant of Zadok, who's a descendant of Aaron, who's a descendant of Levites. And it's just a shortened lineage. So Zadok priests are the only ones. And we see this in Ezekiel. In the millennial reign, there will be Zadok priests again. Not Pharisees, not Sadducees, not Benjamites. Zadok priests doing memorial services, basically. So this is what happens at a certain point. Long story short, there's a major persecution and the Sadducees and Pharisees take over. You ever wonder how the Sadducees got their name? The true priests are supposed to be Zadok priests. Zadokian. And so these guys are Sadducees. Zadok saga I can't talk today. Anyway, it comes from the same root word. They're trying to say that they are the true priests. And everybody knew they weren't. It's just because you change your name and call yourself Zadok doesn't mean you're a Zadok priest. But they persecuted these guys even to the point of killing them. It's an amazing history. Let's just read this. It says, now listen, all of you who know righteousness and understand the works of God. He has a dispute with all flesh and will pass judgment on all those who despise him. That right there is the whole gospel. You know, he has A dispute with every single one of us because none of us are perfect. That's not our fault. We were born that way. It's not his fault either. It's a problem that has to be fixed. We have to relax and let the Messiah fix it. But he has a dispute with us and will continue to have a dispute with us. If we despise him, are you going to accept his free gift of eternal life or are you going to despise Him? See, that's the only issue. When Israel sinned by abandoning him, he hid his face from them and from his sanctuary and gave them over to the sword. They're talking about Nebuchadnezzar and that stuff. But he remembered the covenant he made with the forefathers and left a remnant of Israel, not allowing them to be annihilated. So the story continues. During that period of wrath, 390 years after he had given them to the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, he visited them and caused a root of his planting to spring forth from Israel and from Aaron to inherit his land. So what's going on is there is a. There was an apostasy. They had lost some of the records from the School of the Prophets. They didn't really know what they were doing. They knew some stuff, but they weren't complete. They were trying to figure it out. That shows that they have a heart for God. So 390 years after, remember when Ezekiel laid on one side for 390 days, year for a day. It's a prophecy, according to them, about the return of the order. This would bring us down to 197 BC. So in 197 BC, the Lord impressed upon people to reconstitute the Zadok Order, the School of the Prophets, try to get all the scrolls back. Kind of like what we're doing, all the Dead Sea Scrolls, by the way, if any of any of of you guys know where there's one, let me know. I'm getting a collection. And I promise we'll get them together and publish them so everybody can have them. So 390 years later, 197 BC, the order comes back. Okay? And that's kind of where we're at now. We've got some of the scrolls. We figure out what we're doing, but we don't have all the answers. It goes on and says, and it grew fat through the nourishment of his soil. Then they understood their iniquity and they knew that they were guilty. Like blind men groping after the way for 20 years. The way is a term that in the New Testament refers to Christians, and back then it referred to the Zadok priests or the Essenes, which is basically the same thing. As far as theology goes, God considered their works because they sought them with a perfect heart. You know, when you have a kid that keeps messing up, you don't throw them away when they're exactly, totally anti you. There's a time you have to do tough love and send them out of the house. But it's the heart. I don't care if you mess up. Are you trying? Do you care? And that's how God views us. They loved him with a perfect heart. They messed up a lot like you and I do. But we love him with a perfect heart. Amen. But he raised up for them a teacher of righteousness. The teacher of righteousness. To guide them in the ways of his heart. He revealed to the latter generations what he does in the last generation, to the traitorous community who departs from the Way. This is the period which was written. Israel slides back like a backsliding heifer. So that's their interpretation of Hosea 4. So let me put this into common language for you. There's a major persecution. We lose stuff. Persecution's over. We come back together. We try to put stuff together. We do a pretty good job as far as humans go, but we're missing a lot of stuff. So then, after 20 years of trying to pull it together, there's a Christophany, the Messiah, not born yet, but appears and says, okay, here's what you're missing. And he begins to explain to them that there's going to be more problems, more major problems. They are to pick up and move to Egypt and stay down there until the problem is over. When people seek to kill you just because you're. You're you, or you did something wrong, you ate with a fork instead of a spoon. It's against the law. You need to be executed. All of Israel, it says, was walking in madness. You can kind of see that if I think I'm the government and you're not observing the Sabbath or you're doing it wrong, and that's equal to murder. And I'm supposed to put murderers to death. I guess I'm supposed to execute you. And that's what they were, but they were all thinking they were the government trying to execute one another. And it was madness. So what's going on here is. He explains that when the Romans come, there will be this peace. Rome's going to say, you pay taxes and you worship a rock, I don't care. But when you try to kill someone else who's paying taxes, you're dead. That's the way it's going to be. And that's kind of rough, but under that kind of a situation, we can go back and have some protection. And Essenes always carried arms, but they worked with the local government as best as they could. Rome didn't care. And they were able to go back in and to Qumran, which they call New Damascus, and start up an order. But this is interesting to me. So if this actually happened 20 years after 197bc would be 177bc. So if you have a christophany that tells you pick up and move, much like the Jews did in 68, the Jewish believers were told to pick up and move to Pella. And as soon as they did, Israel was basically wiped out. Hundreds of thousands of people were executed. So if we're following this, what's interesting to me is three years after, when the Messiah would have appeared to him and told him what to do, that'd be 175bc well, what happened in 175bc anybody know? A certain king came to power. His name was Antiochus Epiphanes. Shortly thereafter, thousands, hundreds of thousands of people were slaughtered. So you need to obey when you're told stuff. So this is amazing to me. Now here's John, chapter 10. People say, well, was John the Baptist in the scene? How do we know these things? John chapter 10 says something interesting. He's talking to the Pharisees. They try to seize him. He escapes out. And it says he escapes out of their hand. He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was baptizing at the first. And there he stayed. And many came to him and said John performed no sign. But all the signs that John spoke about this man were true, and many believed on him there. Now, if you've ever been to Israel, they have a spot they're pretty sure is where John the Baptist was baptizing. It's in the middle of nowhere, but the closest community is Qumran. It's only eight miles away. So he goes to the place where John would baptize out in the middle of nowhere. And there's a bunch of people there that apparently accept him. So this is, I think, a scriptural point of where Jesus went to Qumran. There are scrolls that talk about the Messiah preaching in Qumran and a certain incident that happened. It's really interesting. So as far as prophecy goes, let's look at some of these prophecies. This is from hymn 23 out of the Psalms. There's a lot more psalms and apparently David wrote a song for each Sabbath, 52 of them. So there's all these extra things that may have prophecy in them. Some of them do. But this says always at the Genesis or the beginning of every honor, the beginning of every age, at the end of every season, according to the statute, signs are appointed to every dominion. And this sounds kind of cryptic, but I believe this is saying most of the prophecies happen at the end of the ages, at the end of the onas. The way the calendar works is you've got 7,000 years between the creation in Genesis, Creation week and the creation of a new heavens and a new earth. And they divided into four eras or four ages. The age of K of Creation, the age of Torah, the age of Grace, and then the Kingdom age, which is only 1000 years. So these 2000 year periods are divided into 4 ONAs. So there's 14 ONAs total of 500 years. And each one of those is divided into 10 Jubilees. A Jubilee is 50 years. Jubilee is divided into 7 Shmitas or 77 year periods and a jubilee year. So we're talking about the end of every 500 year period at the end of every 2000 year age, at the end of every season. According to the statutes. There are things that are prophesied and they do happen. More things happen when you get toward the end of an age. A lot of prophecy was fulfilled in that first century A.D. a a lot with Jesus first coming, a lot of prophecies already been fulfilled. Israel coming back. I think there's been 50 some prophecies since Israel's come back. Re establishment of Israel in the land of Israel with the Hebrew language. And there's just a lot of it. So according to their documentation, this last jubilee, or this last age, or this last generation as it's called, there's going to be a lot of prophecies fulfilled. That doesn't mean the Rapture can't be today or the war that's going on may be actually a prophecy that's happening. Maybe, maybe not. But as we get closer to that age, we've had a lot of prophecies since Israel's come back. Here's another one that says kind of the same thing. This is 4Q286, the holy weeks. Appointed times like Passover points to the first coming. You know, the heads of the months, heads of the years, the festival seasons, their fixed times, the sabbatical years as shmitas, the land and the divisions of the appointed times, for liberty and for light and darkness. And then it fragments, but it's going to explain something about them. So this is all about the turning of the seasons. Not seasons per se, but all the different periods. And there's prophecy involved in those. So let's look specifically at Essene prophecy. So people ask me, if this is the case, why aren't there Essenes mentioned in Scripture like in the New Testament? I'm very glad you asked. Here's Acts, chapter 13. I want to point out something to you and tell you an interesting story. Acts 13, there's a group of people from the school of the prophets at this time is led by a guy named Agabus. But there's a group of prophets that come down to anoint Paul. Remember that? And it says that there were in the church which was at Antioch, certain prophets and certain teachers. Barnabas, Simon that was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene and Manaen, who had been brought up with Herod the Tetrarch, and Saul. Now, I don't know much about Simon or Lucius, but Menin is interesting. Josephus calls him Menachem. The K sound is a ch, which turns into an h and sometimes is dropped out. Sometimes you'll see M and M, M, the letter M like Mary and the letter N like Nancy being interchanged. So this is Manaean. And just to make sure you understand, it's the one that was brought up with Herod the Tetrarch. That should tell you everything you want to know. There is a comment in the cabal or in the in the Talmud about Menachem. Just one little comment. And basically Menachem was a ruler of the Sanhedrin along with a guy named Shmai. And this is really interesting because all it says is he became a heretic and left. So to fill in his place was a guy named Hillel. So you get the famous pair Hillel and Shmai, and these guys go together. Remember, Hillel's descendant was Gamaliel, who taught Paul. So we're right there at that time period. But this Menachem guy apparently was way high up and we don't know about him because it becomes a heretic starts believing in this Messiah type character. Well, Josephus tells the story that Menachem was in a scene believed in the prophecies, came up to Herod and told Herod when he was just a young man, you're going to be king of Israel. And Herod laughed at him. I'm commoner. That's not ever going to happen. It's not possible. Like, nevertheless, it's going to happen. And Herod's like, really? And so how long am I going to be king? About 30 years. And he's just like, I wish you're a nut. Get away from me. You know? And then eventually Herod becomes king. So he finds this Menachem guy and talks to him. Now, again, that's not super hard to understand if you just think about it. There's a prophecy that talks about the Messiah and him being persecuted by the Idumeon, who could persecute under Rome, unless you have Rome's permission. If you have Rome's permission, you'd probably be a king. No Idumium would ever be king. That's not possible. Unless, of course, the Pharisees and the Sadducees are so fighting each other that Rome says, forget this. We're going to put somebody in that's not a Pharisee or a Sadducee. Who do we got? Well, there's a Zidumian over there. Okay, let's try that. It didn't work, but there's still persecution. But it's easy to figure those things out. But he prophesied this. So Herod took him and some of his followers in with him and he became like the prophecy experts, the religious guys in Herod's palace. Now, remember a certain time, there were magi that came from the east and said, where is he that's born king of the Jews? And Herod said, no clue. But I'd like to find out because it bothers me. So he calls these wise men or his people, you know, where's the Messiah going to be born from Bethlehem? Micah 5. Don't you ever read it? Come on, man, you wouldn't say that to a king. But it's pretty easy. And so he says, go find him that I may come and worship him also. So we have this record of Manaen or Menachem. Now think about this for a minute. We're going to talk about herbal medicine this afternoon. But most people lived to be about 60 years old back in the day, 2,000 years ago, the scenes were noted to live 120, 110 to 120. And they talk about it's their herbal medicine, their food, their devotion to religion, and a few other things. And we're trying to piece together their herbal stuff just because it's part of A prophecy. We talk about that later. But think about this. This is a guy who's acting as Sanhedrin. You know, that's he's got to be at least 30 in 2 BC or 10 BC and now this is 58. He's got to be around 90 at least. How many 90 year olds do you know that just say, I'm going to hop on a donkey and travel 50 miles and find this guy named Paul. I'm going to lay hands on him. It in a good way. But you don't see that, right? That's unnatural. Unless he's in full vigor. Well, that's not a Pharisee or a Sadducee. That's an Essene. I want to live as long as I can, be healthy and not be in pain, be able to work for the Lord. If I can't do that anymore, I want to go home. I'm going to go home anyway. Anyway. So here's some things about. Was John the Baptist in this scene? Community Rule 15 about whatever we've been talking about. When the community returns to Israel, they were supposed to hide out in Egypt until Rome took over. And sometime they go back. When the community returns to Israel as predicted, they are to separate from their dwelling from the men of sin. That's Pharisees and Sadducees. They don't go to the temple. They come to Qumran in order to prepare his way. As it is written the voice of him who cries in the desert. Prepare the way of the Lord. Make his path straight. So this is a prophecy about someone from the Essene order fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah about preparing the way of the Messiah. John says about John the Baptist, he said, I am the voice of the one crying in the wilderness. Make straight the way of the Lord. As the prophet Isaiah said. Remember when they came to him and they said, you're not one of us. So you're. You're not a Pharisee, you're not a Sadducee. Are you the Messiah? Are you Elijah? Come back. Are you a 800 year old guy? I mean, by what authority do you do this? And he says, I'm the voice crying in the wilderness. You guys ought to know what that means. They shut up and they go home. It's pretty interesting. So John's baptizing close to Qumran. He's fulfilling the prophecy that they say someone from their order is going to. And we have a list from Church Father Hippolytus. And his list is the school of the Prophets. He has an actual list of the prophets that run the school from the time of Moses down to Agabus and then Quintinius and then a couple of other people take it and it kind of disappears from history. We know Agabus from the New Testament, so this included Simon, the guy that actually circumcised the Messiah. Can you imagine? You've seen the signs. It's eight days, you know, next Tuesday is the eighth day. The Messiah will be here, right here. Next Tuesday, I'm going to be here, hold him in my hands, the little baby. That's just amazing. Anyway, separate subject. So it includes. That includes Zachariah, John the Baptist's father, and mentions Annas and Caiaphas as usurpers. They took it over by force, like what they do with everything. So according to the text, it's just like a king, you know, the son's inherent. So if Annas and Caiaphas are illegally taking it, it goes back to. It was Zachariah, then it was a guy named Joseph. No connection with anybody in the New Testament. And then they took it over. This Joseph guy apparently didn't have any kids. So that means it goes back to Zachariah, who's now dead. And it would go to his firstborn, if he had any. Did Zachariah have a firstborn child? John the Baptist? Yeah. And there's other records in the church, fathers of him running the school of the prophets. So very, very interesting. In that list of prophets, it also mentions Gad, Ahijah, Iddo, Nathan, and Shemaiah. Now we're all sons of the prophets because we study prophecy. If the Lord made you a prophet, you would write that down. There'd be a book, a testament, and we would want that. So these guys, according to scripture, have prophetic books. We managed to get and translate Gad a few years ago. We've got Pardon, Nathan and the others. I know where they're at, but there's just no way for me to get my hands on them. When the Lord wants it, it'll happen. This is a prophecy from The Damascus document 14. And it says from the day the unique teacher, the only begotten teacher dies, to the destruction of all the warriors that followed, the liar will be about 40 years. And this is amazing to me because they talk about who's the teacher of righteousness. Probably the guy that started the cult. Okay, so he's what, 3, 400 years old? You guys have more faith than I do. This is a guy that's the teacher of righteousness, and he's put to death 40 years before the destruction of the temple in 70 AD. That's got to be Messiah. And he's called Unique Yahad only begotten the unique One, the only one. So there's references to his virgin birth in other places also. So here's what the Apostle Paul says. I confess to you he's on trial by the Pharisees that according to the way, which is a proper name, which they call a sect or a religious denomination, according to the Way, I worship the God of my fathers and believing all things that are written in the law and the prophets. So if I was on trial for being a Christian, I would say, well, you're not a Roman Catholic, you're going to be executed. What are you? I happen to go to a Calvary chapel. What's that mean? Well, you should know, it's a sect. It's just. And I believe that to be the proper way. That's why I'm there. Otherwise I'd be somewhere else. But it becomes a name for Christianity, but it was the name for the Essenes. So he followed the Essene path. And here's why. There's a prophecy about in the Testament of Benjamin. Now the testaments are their basic pre Mosaic canon, if you will. And so the Pharisees come up and say you got to do it this way because Moses gave us secret knowledge, you know, orally. And the Essenes said that's no, that's bull, that's a lie. Moses would not have said that because the patriarchs said the opposite. There are records from Adam to Aaron, last wills and testaments that tell us proper theology. And that's not what they said. And of course the, the Pharisees are going to say those did used to exist, but your version is made up. Of course they're going to say that. But what's interesting is when you compare this, if you're going to follow the Essene Oral Torah or the the. Or no, the Pharisee Oral Torah or the Essene Patriarchal Testaments. Which one fits? The New Testament? The Essene Patriarchal Testaments? We'll get to that in a minute. Here's what it says. This is from Benjamin's testament. Benjamin, the little brother of the 12, says one will rise from my seed in the latter times. Latter times is the end of an age. If you think about it, we're always talking about the end times. The actual end times is not for another thousand years, the end of the millennial reign, but we're talking about the end of our age, when the Antichrist is here, those end times, this is their end times. First coming, one will rise from my seed. In the latter times, enlightening with new knowledge. The Gentiles giving it to a synagogue of the Gentiles. Gentile believers are going to have their own synagogue or church or something, whatever you want to call it, this group of people. And that's going to continue until the consummation of the ages. Remember, that's what Simeon and Anna taught in the Temple, the consummation of the ages prophecy. He, this guy Benjamin will be in the synagogue of the Gentiles. He will be inscribed in the holy books both his work and his word. He will be a chosen one of God forever. Now there's another passage that talks about when Messiah comes, he will actually write prophecy. It'll be written down. So Matthew 24. So we're being told at the age of grace, when it starts, there's going to be a New Testament canon. The New Testament or New Covenant, is the one that Jeremiah 31 talks about. It's going to contain actual records of the Messiah, the Gospels, the work of Paul, which is Acts, and a series of epistles. I think it's so funny when I talk to some of my hyper Hebrew roots friends and they say, Paul's a heretic, he doesn't follow the law. Should have removed it from the canon. It's horrible. According to the Dead Sea Scrolls, Paul has all the answers. And if you're confused, you're confused out of everything. You might want to pull out of the Bible. Not the Epistles of Paul prophecy. Can you imagine? I always thought Paul might be a little arrogant when he said, hey, back off. You go to the Jews, I'm the apostle to the Gentiles. He's not being arrogant. If this was you, wouldn't you guard it with your life? These are my people. You don't mess with them. I don't want them messed up with heresy or confusion or I'll take care of it. You back off. You go talk to Jewish people. And he's not being arrogant at all. If the Lord gave you something to do, be very serious about it. So here's a few prophecies. This is from the Habakkuk commentary. We're running out of time here, so I need to hurry. But this is just basically the book of Habakkuk. But this is their commentary on it for, for chapter two. It says, stand and watch. Okay. The commentary says God told Habakkuk to write down what would happen in the final generation. But he did not reveal to him when exactly when those events of the final period would be complete, like when the rapture would occur. Second Coming before the end of the age. But sometime God said, write the vision. Make it plain on the tablets that who reads it may run. Its interpretation concerns the teacher of righteousness, whom God made known all the mysteries of all the words of his servants, the prophets. So the teacher of righteousness is the Messiah. The vision is still for the appointed time, but it speaks to the end and does not lie. Habakkuk 2, 3. This interpretation means the final age shall be prolonged and shall exceed all that the prophets have said. For the mysteries of God are astounding. This is my favorite one. Behold, his soul, which is lifted up, is not upright in him. But the just live by faith. That's quoted by Paul in Galatians. Paul seems to indicate that Abraham is justified by faith. Not just faith in God, but faith in the Messiah. You know, my Jewish friends would say, no, it's not faith in the Messiah, it's just faith in God. According to the scrolls, this is how they interpret it. The just live by faith. This concerns all who follow the law of the House of Judah, the proper law, not the Pharisee stuff. To whom God will deliver from their suffering, from the house of damnation. The Pharisees rulers. Why? Because of their faith in the Teacher of righteousness. It's by faith in the Messiah that we're saved. Not just faith and faith. So that's really amazing. Now right now you're saying. Yeah, I know that. That's just basic Galatians. A lot of people don't know that. And you're told, ignore the New Testament, ignore Christianity, follow the rabbis. This predates the rabbis. This is my great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandfathers that are telling me the just live by faith in Messiah. Here's another passage. A little while and the wicked shall be no more. The interpretation concerns all of the wicked. At the end of the 40 years, they will be blotted out and the wicked shall no longer be found in the land of Israel 40 years after Messiah is destroyed. So again, that's in here three or four times. Here's a master list of doctrines. Okay. That Essenes taught. They don't use the term Trinity. They say there's the Father, Hashem, Mashiach, Hamashiach, the Messiah and the Ruach Hakodesh, the Holy Spirit. These are not angels. They are the one God. They are three separate persons. We know The Holy Spirit. Well, because we're prophets, we speak to him all the time. It's what they would tell you. They don't use the term Trinity. You know, as Americans we got to define stuff, got to give it a name. And I'm sure they'd look at us going, shh. Americans just follow directions, just, just, you know. But there's one Messiah with two Advents. When he comes the first time, he creates a group of people called the Redeemed. These are sinners just like everybody else. They love Messiah and somehow Messiah fixed it, you know, so that's really cool. Salvation actually hangs on everything that the Messiah does. So we can't save ourselves. It's all about Messiah. The Messiah's first coming would be in 32 AD. We'll see that in just a moment. The teacher of righteousness will be unique or only begotten. It's interesting because in Isaiah 7 it talks about the woman will be Alma, which means virgin. And some people say, well no, it should be Bethulah if it meant virgin. This just means young woman. Some of the translations say that in the Testament of Nathan, he doesn't use either one of those two words. He says there's a woman, young woman who has never known a man holding. It's a vision he sees holding in her arms her baby boy, who's Lord of the entire earth. The only lords of the entire earth have been Adam, and he lost it, and Noah, and he lost it and will eventually be Messiah. So it's pretty interesting. You can't argue terms. Does this really mean this or not? The sign of God's rejection of the Levitical priesthood would be that the veil of the temple in Jerusalem was ripped in half. Remember how Matthew tells us that happened? But he just kind of throws it in there like you're supposed to know already what it is. And it was a prophecy. So if you're in a scene and you see that happen, you're supposed to next Pentecost, go to the temple, go somewhere and you'll be introduced to the age of grace. You almost interrupt Peter and say yeah, yeah, yeah, it's nice. Now I've been wait for this 30 years. How do I get saved? You know? And thousands got saved that first day. Mainly it says a lot of them Levitical priests. The visitations, we talked about that. According to the scrolls, the first visitation was 120 year period. The second one, first coming was a 40 year period. The end of the age of Grace, right before the kingdom starts. It's Going to be a seven year period. Isn't that interesting? I can think of a passage in Daniel that goes along with that. The Pentecost after the Messiah's death would start the Age of Grace. The Age of Grace has a new covenant with a new set of holy books. The New Testament would contain teachings from the Messiah, a history about the birth of the synagogue of the Gentiles, and a series of epistles from some Benjamite. Pretty cool. So let's look at this and see if we have time to get through this. This is one of my favorite ones. This is from cave 11. This is talking about how the Melchizedekian priest actually is the Messiah. He's the one that we all point to. He's the priest that we all point to. Moses said in the year of jubilee, each one of you would be free to return home. He described how saying this is the manner of the release. Every creditor is to remit what he's lent to his neighbor. He will not press his neighbor for or bother for repayment. It's the year of the Lord's release that's been proclaimed. This is a prophecy. They say its interpretation pertains to the end of days. Again, the end of their days. First coming, the captives of Moses speaks are the same ones whom Isaiah says to proclaim freedom to the captives. Remember Jesus in Matthew, In Luke chapter 4 reads this passage and says, today in your hearing, this prophecy is fulfilled. And they throw him out of the church. Son of God. Anyway. So that's who it's referring to. Its interpretation is that the Lord will assign those who are freed to the sons of heaven and the lot of Melchizedek, the lot of the Messiah, even those whose teachers had deliberately hidden and kept secret from them the truth about their inheritance through Melchizedek. It doesn't matter if you were a Sadducee or a Pharisee or an atheist or whatever, you got messed up. Okay, cool. Messiah's here now. God loves you. He wants you to turn to him. Everybody has a chance at salvation. Don't ever think that you don't just repent. It's amazing. The Lord will cast their lot amid the portions of Melchizedek and make them to repent and proclaim freedom to them. So they get all their debts, they get all their money back, right? No, not that kind of debt. That frees them from the debt of all of their iniquities. Different kind of debt. Our debt has been paid in Messiah. Now that's cool. We would Say that's when Jesus died on the cross, Right? So they asked the question, when will this event occur? When does Messiah take away our sin? This event will take place the first week of the jubilee. That occurs after the ninth jubilee. Now that goes back to the calendar again. We got the calendar. The end of the Onah was 75 AD according to their calendar. You back it up 50 years, that's 25 AD. So it's the first Shmita of that seven years into it. So if it's 25 plus 7, what is that? 32 AD so the Melchizedekian priest will take away our sins and, and make us saved, basically, and start the age of grace in the year 32 A.D. that's pretty cool. And I'm not. Some of you might say it's 33, it's 31, whatever. That doesn't matter. It's Messiah. The fact that anything like this exists, and this is one that's only found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. You can't say anybody tampered with it. That's pretty specific. The day of atonement is at the end of the 10th Jubilee. When atonement is made for talk about the destruction of the temple, it begins Melchizedek's day of grace. This day of peace is about what God spoke through the prophet Isaiah when he said, how beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who proclaims peace, the messenger of good who proclaims salvation, saying to Zion, your God reigns. Its interpretation is that the mountains are the prophet's predictions. That messenger is the anointed one, the Messiah, about whom the Holy Spirit said through Daniel, until the Messiah, the Prince, we know that's Messiah. So what does he do, this messenger of good who proclaims salvation? He's the one to whom it is written when it says to comfort those who mourn. It's another part of what Jesus said in Luke 4 and to instruct them in all the ages of the world in truth, to instruct them about the true calendar that the Pharisees had corrupted. That was hidden from us again shortly thereafter and finally figured out about three or four years ago through the scrolls. Zion is those who uphold the covenant that follow Messiah and turn aside from the ways of the people, where it says, your God reigns, your God is the Messiah. Melchizedek. Isn't that amazing? This is not the only place where it talks about the Messiah being God incarnate. There's about 12 of them throughout there. This is interesting. And it ends this Way it says, oh, in that place where he says you'll blow the signal horn in the seventh month, you know, that's Yom Torah. That's the awakening blast. Ooh, we're going to talk about the Rapture. That's exactly what we're going to talk about. And he says it's got to do with time divisions. Yeah, that's nice. That doesn't tell me anything. This is where it's ripped off. This is amazing to me. Oh yeah, Isn't that horrible? But think about it though. If we're not supposed to know the date, well, this is weird. Just think about this. We're not supposed to know the date and this accidentally gets ripped in half just at the right spot. I think God's in control, don't you? That's just my way of looking at it, but sheesh. Okay, we need to hurry up and end here. So the end times in general, we're told to gather together in close knit communities because of persecution. We're to avoid the men of the pit when it's dark, the persecuting people. We're to avoid secular counselors, people that tell you you're okay, I'm okay. You need a counselor that tells you to shut up and repent. That's the answer. But you're not going to get that from a secular counselor. And you're to avoid what they call nephilim medicine. Now what we know about that is anything that alters our genes, nobody's trying to turn us into giants or anything. But that's the cross hold. And I'm not saying that if there's a genetic therapy that might save your life because you have cancer, by all means try it. But that's the line. When we start thinking, this is where it begins to go awry. And this is where we need to be careful. So we need to have our own. It talks about a church is a place that has a godly pastor that loves you, a prophecy expert and an herbal medicine expert. If you don't have those three, you don't have a church. Isn't that amazing? That's their definition, godly, godly doctors. So signs to look for. We're going to cover this later. But basically there's going to be a decrease in lifespans. There's going to be this really odd memory problem that happens with people, kind of like Alzheimer's and there's this unnatural obesity and there's a few other things that they talk about and we'll talk about that later. We've made some amazing discoveries on the herbal medicine stuff from the scrolls. But we'll go ahead and stop there. I'll be out there at the table if you have questions. Thank you.
