Welcome to the program today. Monte Gonzales here in studio with our good friend Tyler Gilreath. And the question for us today is, how well do you know the gospel? Is it really simple? Is it complex? Are we at the point where we have fully understood everything about God? I think not. So stick around.

about bringing the world to 3D, that's what we're going to discuss today as it relates to the Gospel. The gospel is pretty straightforward, but is there a three dimensional aspect to it? And our guest today is going to talk about that. So, Tyler, welcome.
C
Mondo. I appreciate it. Thanks for the opportunity.
A
Yeah. So for our audience who might not know you, kind of introduce yourself.
C
Yeah, absolutely. I am someone who is highly intrigued with the mysterious aspects of life. I like to write about the supernatural landscape of scripture, investigate the things that you weren't taught in church, at least in most churches, because I believe they're so important. And so again, I'm an investigative theologian, been in ministry for over 17 years. So yeah, that's a little bit about me. So happy to be with you.
A
Your book here, Gospel of Our God, subtitled Jesus Christ, the Fallen Angels and the Supernatural War of the Bible. To me, this is right up my, this is right up my alley here because I love this. And so like right out of the gate here, you know, the title, Gospel over the Gods, kind of, kind of share with us the background of how you got here and what led you. I mean, this is. You do, you did your homework here.
C
Well, like you, I was influenced a lot by the late Dr. Michael Heiser. But, you know, halfway through my ministry just kind of hit me, where do the devil and his angels fall into the entire timeline of scripture? And so that's when I really started investigating and putting together ultimately what came to be this book, Gospel Over Gods, which was the first book that I wrote. And it really gives the reader a bird's eye view of the story of scripture, of God versus the fallen angels, all the way through. And I felt like that's what I was missing. And I wanted to put that on paper and get it out into the world. And so I believe when you know that when you study these issues, it makes the Bible come alive. It fills in the gaps. Right. A lot of the things that people have questions about, it just intensifies their faith, if that makes sense.
A
Yeah, it really should. And one of the things that as a pastor I saw all the time is that and even myself have we come to the point where we think that we know it all? Like, okay, I've studied the Bible for 50 years, there's nothing left to understand. Yeah, God, I got you figured out.
C
It's good.
A
I mean, in reality, humility would tell us the God that we serve is an infinite God. And so us as a finite being is never going to fully grasp. And even the book, the Bible is of course, you know, almost 1200 chapters of again, information and history, etc. But there's the gospel. Let's keep it simple. You know, Jesus died for sinners, okay? That's very simple. Let's keep it straight. He loved us, he died for us so that we could go to heaven. And let's not forget that. And there's no doubt the Gospel is accessible to a five year old, but it's not only for a five year old. God says how deep you want to go. And so one of the things that you describe in here is this worldview idea. And not only that, but there's. It's not just maybe expand on this too that you mentioned it where Jesus, it's not just Jesus coming down to rescue sinners. That's true, and that's the heart of the gospel. But he also has some enemies and those enemies and their plan to thwart his plan provides a backdrop to really all of scripture.
C
In fact, I would say that if you don't understand the supernatural aspect of scripture, you still can be saved. Right? But you're missing the power and the weight and the girth of the gospel if you don't understand who Jesus came to defeat, right. And why he came to defeat them. And so I think that's an important aspect of this in the book. I take the reader through basically the three divine rebellions of scripture, right. And we can get into that, you know, in this program. But you're basically talking about the Garden of Eden, the Flood, and then the Tower of Babel. And so in Jesus ministry, he came to really reverse the curse of the Garden. He came to have superiority over the Fallen Watchers and in Tartarus. And he came to take back the nations from the principalities and powers that were set up at the Tower of Babel event. And so, if you understand, Jesus did all three things. He really reversed the effects of why the world is wicked and why it's fallen and why it's so terrible and sin has entered the world, then you really start to come away with the power of Christ. It starts to elevate Jesus in his proper place. I just taught a class on Hebrews 1. I love the Book of Hebrews. It is so fantastic. And those first two chapters are amazing. When he is saying emphatically, Jesus is better than the angels. And if you don't know all the backstory and the good and the bad and the ugly, then you don't appreciate the greatness of Jesus.
A
Yeah. There's no doubt that when you get into this backstory, you know, Jesus, you might say, oh, he's a savior. He died for sinners. Of course that's true. But he is so far more than that. And, you know, one of the other things that I have seen is. And maybe you. If I was to ask you the question, why is the world in such a mess? Where did it all start? Most people would say, oh, well, Genesis 3. In the garden of Eden, mankind sinned. You know, death entered the world. But that's only, you know, I want to expand on the three rebellions, because we tend to think of one rebellion, Genesis 3.
C
Yeah, right.
A
But give us a background of the three rebellions and how they contribute to really, again, the work and the mission of Jesus.
C
The first one is well known. Right. The fall of man in the garden. And that was important, you know, that laid the groundwork for everything that would follow. So you have this defector from the kingdom, this Satan figure, which deceived mankind. And so that's Genesis chapter three. Then you move a couple chapters over, you get to Genesis chapter six, and then you're introduced to this very mysterious set of Scriptures which most people just observe the Passover, they read it and pass over it. You know, they don't really delve into it. And it's the story in Genesis 6:1:4, where these sons of God, which kind of sounds like the Son of God, but it's plural, it's different. And the Hebrew is the B' naiha Elohim. It's a group of divine beings according to the Dead Sea Scrolls, according to the LXX or the Septuagint, the Greek version of the Hebrew, Old Testament. They basically intermarried with women, copulated with women, and produced the Nephilim, which are essentially the giants of Scripture. And so that really created a mess. And now you have a group of hybridized beings or race of intelligent beings on the earth that were never supposed to be. And so in Jewish lore and in books, extra canonical books like Enoch, it expands on that particular narrative. And it says that they introduced weapon making and the cutting of roots and all of these things that we like to get our hands on. And we just cause chaos in the world. And so very quickly, there was a precipitous decline of morality on the earth. And ultimately God is wiping it with the flood, cleansing the land, starting over, right? And so those angels who rebelled, they were locked under gloomy chains of darkness, right? Sounds like a pretty bad day. And are still locked under gloomy chains of darkness according to both Peter and Jude. And so that's the second divine rebellion, which in and of itself is a huge transformation of understanding of why God flooded the earth, right? And so that was big. And then you get to this Tower of Babel scene, which is very mysterious in its own right. I mean, you have this group of people building a. Basically a temple. We know now it's called a ziggurat. But they were venerating and honoring other gods in Genesis 10, 11, Deuteronomy 32. And so what the Bible says happened in Deuteronomy 32, 8, 9, as you know, Mondo, is that God assigned the nations, he divorced them, he expelled them and allotted them to sons of God or angels of God, according to the Septuagint. And so from that point, moving forward in the Bible timeline, it was really Israel and Yahweh versus the nations and their gods. And so this is the long history back and forth, the falling away, Israel going and whoring after other gods all throughout the Old Testament, this constant struggle of push and pull until Jesus shows up on the scene. And when Jesus shows up on the scene, in the fullness of time, he came from the Father to the earth and really took the authority back from those fallen entities. And that is the gospel. The gospel is reclaim the nations with the EU angelion, the good news message, shout it to the rooftops. And so, yeah, you can't understand the gospel if you don't understand who Jesus took the power from. You know, so it's so important.
A
Yeah, it's absolutely fascinating, again, the depth of what you see here. And again, the majesty of the Lord Jesus and what he's doing for the Father and we're going to get certainly a little bit more in depth here. A
Well, welcome back. We are talking to Tyler Gilreith here about his new book the Gospel over the Gods. And what we've been kind of laying the foundation is that you have this squaring off basically of God and Israel and because Israel is his and then you have all these other little G Gods. We don't believe in multiple gods, but these are divine beings. We'll say it that way, it's easier, less offensive. Divine beings who are defected against and they are leaders over their own nations, so to speak. I mean, you see this in Babylon and other. Well, talk for a moment about how the squaring off. This is the perfect example of the squaring off between the God Yahweh, the supreme ruler God, of course.
C
Right.
A
And the, the angels or the divine beings that ruled over Egypt. And talk about the Exodus, because to me, if you want to see an example of a squaring off and God defeating these other ones, I mean that certainly plays a part in again, into biblical history, Genesis. And I'm writing at Exodus, there it is.
C
Yeah, Exodus is interesting. Egypt is a garrison for the gods, so to speak. And we now know that in our culture it's all in the movies. But in the biblical story it was really important that you understand what is going on here. I mean, for example, when the rods are being thrown down, right, Suddenly the Egyptians and their magicians, their rods can turn into a serpent as well.
A
I mean, this is real stuff. It's not a sleight of hand. This is real power.
C
Exactly. Why is it that the rod of God could turn into a serpent, the magician's rod could turn into a serpent is because essentially the Egyptians were empowered through these demonic entities. And so they had real abilities, real powers that were on full display. The Bible does not shy away from those things. It says this is what happened. And so what's amazing about that story is that the rod of God swallows up the Egyptians rod, which is a sign that God is overcoming their power. He is swallowing up their power. And so you see that there. You see that with the plagues of Egypt, how God with each of the plagues, if we had more time, we could look at this, but that he is defeating God after God after God or demon after demon after demon, targeting their so called expertise or their abilities with targeted plagues. And so he defeats them there. You have this concept of crossing the Red Sea. There's a lot of symbology there, even with that text where God is basically slaying Leviathan in the sea. Leviathan is this chaos monster in the ancient near east, which is kind of like a modern day Godzilla. And Egypt is this malevolent figure who has this power and how God is slaying them in the sea. So it's all across the board, but especially with the Egypt narrative in the book of Exodus, if you are not in tune if someone is not in tune to the fact that the small G guys like you said of Egypt are real beings, then they are missing the power of God. They're missing God's dominance, his superiority over not one, but many of those beings in Egypt.
A
When you think about idols or these false gods, the typical church person is like, oh, well, that's a statue. It's not even real.
B
Right?
A
And you go, well, wait a minute, wait a minute. If it's just a statue and has no real being behind it, then how is it providing power for the rod when it's thrown down to actually turn into a snake or for them to turn the water into blood?
C
Exactly.
A
Okay, so these are real beings. Now, they might try to position themselves behind a statue or an image or whatever, which of course, God forbids, which is why they do it. But to me, that's the big key takeaway in all this, is when you understand that God is winning. He's defeating his enemies. So let's bring it back for a minute, because ultimately you talk about the theme, the serpent versus the Savior. So let's. Where does that begin? And then bring it all the way through. Because to me, I just said, pay attention. This is amazing.
C
Yeah, yeah, it's important. The serpent versus the Savior goes back to the first prophecy of Scripture, Genesis 3:15, where, you know, basically there would be a crushing a blow on both sides, but ultimately the seed of the woman would defeat the serpent. Right? And so you had the very first prophecy about cosmic warfare about this seed of the woman defeating serpent. So that's exactly what happens. You have Jesus being born of the Virgin Mary being born to the world, defeating the cosmic enemy. This is on full display, for example, when Jesus was in the wilderness, one of the great cosmic scenes of scripture, you have Yeshua, Jesus, like the Yeshua or Joshua of old, wandering in the wilderness for not 40 years, but now 40 days. He is going. He is being tempted in all points, like we are, like Israel was. And then you have a demonic figure show up, which is Satan. What's amazing, Mondo, is that Jesus is confronted with Satan. Satan even quotes scripture to Jesus. He uses Psalm 91, trying to lure him and bait him. And Jesus just quotes scripture back. You know, he just gives it to him, the word of God. You can't defeat the Word of God. The word of God literally created the world, put frequencies out into space, and here we are. And so he defeated Satan on every level. And ultimately, the biggest play of the gospel was the fact that if the powers of this World would have understood that through the death, burial and resurrection, Jesus would cosmically legally defeat the authority that the devil and his angels have. They would not have crucified the Lord of glory. And so this was the ultimate, the ultimate, I would say, glorious deception in a good way. God didn't show his hand, that is, he kept it very close to the vest, as they say, and ultimately strip that authority from the devil at the very end. And that's the beauty of the Gospel. And so cosmic warfare is again on display all throughout the Gospels. If we had time on that, we could look at all the demonic interactions and we could look at the liberations of people. But Jesus very much came to be an exorcist. He came very much to be a liberator and a defeater of cosmic evil. And that is really in the fabric, in the DNA of the Gospel.
A
I want to discuss a little bit more about the cosmic nature of Jesus mission, but we're going to take a little break here where you can see how to get Tyler's book again. You know, you got 400, 500 pages of material that is not overwhelming. It will provide for you tremendous insight into what the scripture says again about this long war against God by his enemies. So take a listen.
B
From Genesis to Revelation, scripture reveals a hidden war raging behind the scenes of human history. A battle involving fallen angels, rebellious spiritual powers, demonic deception, and God's plan of redemption through Jesus Christ. The Bible's most mysterious passages are not isolated stories. They are connected pieces of a much larger narrative that explains the spiritual forces influencing our world today. As interest in the supernatural continues to grow, many people are asking questions about UFOs, ancient giants, spiritual entities and end times deception. While popular culture offers endless speculation, the Bible provides answers rooted in God's word. Understanding the unseen realm can transform the way we view prophecy, current events, and humanity's place in God's plan. In Gospel Over Gods, Tyler Gilreith explores these fascinating subjects through a biblical lens, connecting the rebellion of the fallen angels, the rise of the Nephilim, the scattering of the nations at Babel, and the ministry of Jesus Christ into one cohesive story. Along the way, you will discover how the Gospel is God's answer to every spiritual rebellion, and why Christ's victory over the powers of darkness is the central message of scripture. The if you've ever wanted to understand the supernatural worldview of the Bible and how it relates to the world we see unfolding around us today, this book offers a compelling and deeply biblical exploration of these extraordinary topics. Gospel Over Gods is available for your gift of $25 or more with shipping included anywhere in the USA. Call the toll free number you see on your screen 24. 7 or visit us at ProphecyWatchers TV for our international friends. Please note that additional shipping fees do apply and all prices listed are in US Dollars. Tyler's follow up book, Gates of Revelation, the Messiah and the Second Coming of Babylon is the perfect companion to the book we discussed today. If you enjoy digging deeper into the Bible's most mysterious subjects, you'll appreciate Tyler's thorough research and insightful analysis. When you order both of Tyler's books in the Gate of Babylon package, we're going to send you three special DVDs, Michael Lake's study on the Tower of Babel and Gary Stearman and Ken Johnson's two DVD set on the Book of Enoch. We'll continue to bring you these types of cutting edge programs from prophecy experts like Tyler Gillereath. God bless you as you dig deeper into His Word and learn about his exciting plans for our future.
A
Well, welcome back. We are talking to Tyler and Todd. Before the break we kind of were discussing and introducing this idea of cosmic, which I think is a great, is a great word. I think it's often missed in our Christian culture. There's a passage in Isaiah 24:21 where God says at the end he's going to come out of heaven and he's going to punish not only his earthly enemies, but his heavenly enemies. Talk about that. And again in the return of Christ and how it all comes together.
C
Yeah, they know they're doomed. Okay. They know they've been defeated. And so what I think we see now is just a delay tactic. Delay, delay, delay, delay. You know, we want to delay the return of Christ, which is imminent and ultimately they're going to lose. But you're right, Hell was created for the devil and his angels. So God always knew how this would play out. This is why you're not going to outsmart God. I mean, God knows before the foundation of the world, Jesus was the lamb that was slain. And so imagine, Mondo, if you could zoom out and you could see time just on a timeline and you could see the whole timeline at once. I mean, that would be fascinating. Kind of scary, right? But this is what God sees. And so there will be and is already happening an escalation of activity and escalation of a presence, a dark presence that will come into the world. And so we are seeing that now. We are closer than ever. I'm not a date setter, so to speak, but we know we are in the last days and have been for 2000 years. And I like to say if we're in the last days or we were 2,000 years ago, we might be in the last seconds or last minutes now. And so we are seeing that intensification. But I want the readers to know that there are some scary things in scripture when you begin to think about this. But if you are a child of God, you should take great comfort in the fact that these beings are already, but not yet defeated. They are legally defeated. And in the end, in the very end, they will be finally, forever defeated. And so we don't have to worry about that aspect as believers in Jesus.
A
Amen. Amen. Tyler, appreciate your time. It's gone pretty quick today. And I just want to remind all of you exactly what Tyler said is that at the end of the day, I mean, you know, Tyler himself, pastors, and so we understand the beauty and the comfort that we have of scripture. And when you get into some of this, again, God didn't give us all this information in order to put fear into us or to scare us at night. He's telling us the extensiveness of again, this war against him and the enemy. We know that the enemy walks around like a roaring lion, seeing who he may devour. So as a Christian, you need to realize that whether you see it or not, Ephesians 6:12. We are in a war. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, against these principalities and these powers in heavenly places. That is the war that we have. And so. But at the end of the day, what does all this say? It tells us that our enemy is absolutely 100% defeated. And Jesus lives within us. He's given us the power of his Holy Spirit. And so we just want to encourage you to put your faith and trust in him. That again, is why we hear the gospel, truly is victorious over all these false gods. So, as always, thank you for your prayers and support of what we do here. We could not do without you. And thanks for listening and we will see you next time.
