Simon Brace talks to Dr Reitze Rodseth about the COVID 19 virus and its potential impact on South Africa and society. Reitze Rodseth is an anaesthesiologist and critical care specialist working as the Head of Anaesthetic Clinical Services at Grey’s Hospital in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. He is affiliated to the Perioperative Research Group of the Department of Anaesthetics and Critical Care at the University of KwaZulu-Natal where he is an Associate Professor. He has been serving as the chapter director of RC at UKZN since 2017. He completed a research fellowship in perioperative medicine and obtained a Masters in Health Research Methodology from McMaster University, Canada. His clinical research interest lies in perioperative risk stratification and he has completed a PhD on the role of B-type natriuretic peptides in predicting postoperative complications. He has published more than 100 peer reviewed papers and was awarded the 2016 UKZN Vice-Chancellor’s Research Award. He is currently busy with a masters in Christian Apologetics from South Evangelical Seminary.

Simon talks to Mark Oppenheimer about constitutional rights and freedoms during times of crisis. Mark Oppenheimer is an advocate and member of the Johannesburg Bar. He is at the forefront of free expression and Constitutional law.

Simon Brace talks about cults with Dr Henk Stoker and Daniel Maritz Dr Stoker is a professor of theology at the North-West University Potchefstroom focusing on apologetics, ethics and cults. Daniel Maritz is a full time apologist and chapter director of Ration Christi at the University of Pretoria campus., who is studying towards his PhD also on the subject of cults.
