The tiny community theater already had a reputation long before she joined the cast.

The building had once served as an old schoolhouse, and over the years volunteers reported strange shadows, whispered voices, missing objects, and unexplained figures wandering the halls after rehearsals ended.

Most people laughed it off.

Until one night during rehearsal, she found herself alone onstage staring up toward the light booth. Behind the bright stage lights, she could clearly make out the silhouette of someone standing there watching her.

At first, she assumed it was the lighting operator. Then the auditorium door opened behind her… and the real lighting operator walked in from outside.

When she looked back toward the booth, the figure was gone.
