Comedian Adam Blank hosts "Remember The Game?", a retro gaming podcast. Each week, Adam and his guest will select a video game that they grew up playing, and spend time reminiscing about what they loved (or hated) about it. Not intended to be a history lesson, "Remember The Game?" is more like a conversation you'd overhear on the playground as a kid. The discussions are all over the place, and are guaranteed to fill you with that warm, nostalgic feeling. (Or rage, like you felt with the underwater level in the original Ninja Turtles game). Either way, it's gonna be fun! New episodes every Wednesday!

Admittedly, I think this is my least favourite game of the trio, but that doesn't make it bad by any stretch. I think the design lends itself pretty well to a handheld game, but it does so at the expense of the exploration of the first and the creativity of the third. Still better than Mario Is Missing, anyway.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

We'll get back to regularly scheduled RTGs next week, but I'm away crushing beers an checking baseball players today, so here's a free previously Patreon exclusive episode of Expansion Pass for you to kill your workday with - the 10 toughest games I've ever played. Get good!!!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

I just pick him in sports and Smash titles. So when I was looking for a short game to help bridge the gap between longer game reviews, I saw the OG WarioWare on Switch Online and decided to roll the dice. And what a great decision that was. WarioWare Inc: Mega Microgames for the GBA is fucking fantastic!!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

I've been wanting to revisit Halo for 333 episodes now, and it's finally time. What do I have to say in here? It's Halo, one of the most iconic games of all-time.I bumped this episode by a week to replay the campaign (which is the focus of this episode), and while Halo 1 is no Halo 2, it's still Halo, and it's still legendary. Hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

We planned to revisit Halo: Combat Evolved this week, but I decided to call an audible and give it a quick replay first. So to buy me a few days, here's my review of Halo Infinite's campaign from a few years ago. Back next week!See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

But Adventure Island III was a huge part of my childhood. So this week I'm reminiscing about the entire NES trilogy. If you haven't played these one, you play as a chubby caveman in a ball cap (I can relate) trying to save a girl. You platform, throw axes, skateboard, ride dinosaurs, and eat too much. Honestly? These games are among the biggest hidden gems in the NES library, and I hope this episode convinces a couple people to give them a run.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

We'll be back with a standard RTG next week, but for now here's an episode of Expansion Pass from 2024 here I ranked every game we covered on Remember The Game from episodes 201- 300. Enjoy (I hope).See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

I was 12 when I started playing Pokemon Blue, and while I've been in and out of the series since, Gen I has long been a favourite of mine. So when Nintendo dropped the remakes of those games on the Switch, I knew it was time to show them a little RTG love. FireRed and LeafGreen are absolutely the definitive way to play Pokemon Gen I. Better graphics, more Pokemon, quality of life improvements, deeper mechanics, they're phenomenal games. Are they good enough to break my nostalgic ties to the OGs? Have a listen and find out.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

No RTG this week, but I dug up my Mario Kart World review from last summer and slapped it up on the free feeds to give you something to listen to instead of your coworkers or family. Be back next week! You play as a boy and his dog, travelling through weird worlds and trying to find your way back home. The concept of the game is fantastic, and it does a lot of stuff well, but I don't know if it really does anything great. And SNES RPGs have a lot of great in them.Captain N of the Retrotopia podcast joins me this week to break down the world of Evermore, and we spent over an hour diving into the seedy (secret) underbelly of the world of Evermore. And before we get save our dog, I put together another edition of the Infamous Intro! This week someone asks if gaming has become a luxury hobby that just isn't accessible to everyone. If I could go back to RTG #1, what advice would I give myself? And is there a series I slept on for way too long??Plus we play another round of 'Play One, Remake One, Erase One', too! This one features 3 SNES RPGs: The 7th Saga, The Illusion of Gaia, and Lufia II.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
