The book of Revelation, opened by the Spirit of the Lord, is a fulfillment of what is written in Revelation 5:5, “...Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” This little scroll, opened by the slain Lamb, has declared the greatest love from the heavenly Father to his children, for it will open their spiritual eyes and reveal to them the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.

The greatest gift contained in this little scroll is the judgment of the Lord, which is like a sword, like a pruning hook, like lightning. The judgment is like a sword, for the word revealed by the Holy Spirit is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing through the soul of the reader, with the tip of the sword pointing to the self, not others; the judgment is like a pruning hook, for it can harvest the grains of God into the barn - to let the people of God enter the kingdom of heaven; the judgment is like lightning, for the Lord is light, and when the light comes, darkness is gone. As the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of Man be in his day. Behold, now is the time for judgment to begin at the household of God, for the Lord disciplines the one he loves.
