Hey! I’m Alyssa, wife, mom, and revivalist! And for 10 years I prayed for my husband’s salvation and felt completely overwhelmed by being the spiritual leader in my home.
I was distracted by my to-do list, carrying the weight of my children’s salvation, and hiding my faith in my own home.
I finally realized that if I was going to have intimacy with the Lord and see my family saved, I truly needed to Let God Lead in my marriage and home and get serious about worship and prayer…
I listened for the Holy Spirit to give direction and stepped into God’s will for my life - finding simple ways to be bold in my faith and disciple my children – and ultimately my husband.
If you’re ready for simple strategies to seek God daily,
experience peace and unity within your family,
lead your family to Jesus,
and raise Kingdom Warriors who are on the winning side.
Then, you’re in the right place!
Take a deep breath, mama, because we’re about to step into the adventure of letting God Lead!

If you have been praying for revival in your home, believing for your husband, standing in the gap for your kids, and things have somehow started to feel messier instead of better, I need you to hear that this is not a sign that something is going wrong. It might actually be the most important sign that something is finally going right. I am sharing what happened when our home's entire plumbing system started backing up and what God showed me through every single messy, expensive, exhausting step of repairing it. Because what he was doing in our physical home was a mirror of exactly what he was doing inside of me, and I have a feeling it is going to resonate with where you are too. We talk about what it actually looks like when the Holy Spirit starts to do deep work, why resentment, old wounds, and buried hurts tend to surface right in the middle of your most sincere daily prayer and pursuit of God, and why that is not something to be afraid of. This is spiritual warfare and inner healing happening at the same time, and it is worth every hard moment. If you have been longing for revival but feeling like you are moving backward instead of forward, this episode has the biblical encouragement you need to keep going. The mess is not the end of the story. It is actually the beginning of the breakthrough. He is not just patching things up. He is replacing them entirely. And friend, that is worth surrendering to. If you have ever sat down to spend time with God only to find your mind running a million miles a minute, replaying conversations, remembering things you forgot to do, and wondering why you cannot just be still for five minutes, this episode is for you. I am sharing the practical things I actually do to calm my nervous system, quiet the mental noise, and create a space where I can genuinely focus on God's Word and hear from the Holy Spirit. And friend, it is simpler than you think. It just takes a little practice and a whole lot of grace with yourself. We talk about why a distracted mind during daily prayer is not a character flaw or a sign that you are not spiritual enough, and what you can actually do about it in the middle of real motherhood with kids, responsibilities, and a home that does not always feel like a peaceful sanctuary. Whether you are carrying resentment, walking through spiritual warfare, or just chronically overwhelmed, getting your body and your mind into a place of presence with God can change everything. This one is full of biblical encouragement and very real, tangible tools that I think are going to make your time with God feel less like a battle and more like the exhale you have been needing. What if the spiritual breakthrough you have been praying for is sitting right on the other side of one decision? In this episode I'm sharing how God used one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make to show me something about obedience, trust, and what it actually looks like to let him lead. I was not expecting him to answer my prayers the way he did, but I would not trade it for anything. We talk about what happens when God brings you to a fork in the road and asks you to choose between comfort and obedience, between counterfeit peace and the real thing. Whether you are carrying resentment, praying for your marriage, or just feeling stuck in the same cycle, this is spiritual warfare in one of its quietest and most personal forms, and daily prayer is exactly what brings it into focus. If you have been asking the Holy Spirit for more closeness, more peace, more clarity, and still feeling stuck, this episode is going to bring you some real biblical encouragement and a very honest look at why he might be waiting on you to take one step before the next door opens. Whatever you have been trusting God for, I believe this episode is going to give you the courage to make your next best decision. Have you ever found yourself looking at someone else's life, their marriage, their kids, their ministry, and quietly wondering why your race feels so much harder than theirs? This episode is going to bring you right back to your own lane. I had a dream about a 12-mile race that stopped me in my tracks, and what the Holy Spirit showed me through it has everything to do with the comparison trap, the weights we carry, and why so many of us are running someone else's race without even realizing it. It is one of those moments of biblical encouragement that I knew I had to share with you right away. We talk about what it actually looks like to keep your eyes on God and run your race with endurance, especially when you are in the middle of spiritual warfare, raising faith-filled kids, and believing for your husband all at the same time. Because here is what I know is true... the resentment and frustration that builds when we are always looking at what everyone else is doing is one of the heaviest weights we carry, and it is slowing us down. If daily prayer and staying connected to God is how we find our footing and our peace on this road, then getting rid of what is weighing us down is how we actually stay on it. This episode is going to help you do both. You have a race to run, friend. Let's get back to it. If you have ever told yourself you just need to be more consistent, more disciplined, more intentional about spending time with God, and then still found yourself falling off track and feeling worse about it, this episode is going to reframe everything. What if it's not about motivation at all? What if there are things quietly blocking that connection that have nothing to do with how busy you are or how good of a Christian mom you are? Today I am sharing three things that can actually get in the way of your daily prayer time and your connection with God, and friend, they are probably not what you think. We talk about guilt, forgiveness, and what happens when we let shame and resentment build walls between us and the one who just wants us to run to him. This is real, this is vulnerable, and the Holy Spirit was all over this one. I also share a beautiful picture from Psalm 1 that God gave me a couple of years ago that I think is going to stay with you long after you finish listening. It is one of those pieces of biblical encouragement that just roots something deep in you. If spiritual warfare has been keeping you stuck in a cycle of guilt and disconnection, I believe this episode is going to shine some light on exactly what is happening and give you a very simple, grace filled path forward. If you have been longing for more peace and joy in your home, not just the surface kind but the kind that stays even when everything around you feels hard, this episode is going to point you straight to the source of it. We are diving into the story of David and the Ark of the Covenant in 2 Samuel 6, and what his unashamed, all out worship of God has to teach us about ushering in the tangible presence of the Holy Spirit right in the middle of our everyday lives. It is one of those passages that just wrecks you in the best possible way. I also get vulnerable about something I kept hidden in my own home for years and the moment that finally changed everything. Because friend, when we stop holding back and we invite God's presence in through worship, something tangible shifts. The resentment softens, the spiritual warfare loses its grip, and that peace and joy we have been desperately craving starts filling the spaces where the heaviness used to live. If daily prayer has felt dry or distant lately, this episode has the biblical encouragement and the fresh perspective you didn't know you needed. Come listen with an open heart. I think this one is going to breathe something fresh back into you. His presence transforms, and you and your household get to feel that. If resentment has been quietly building inside of you and you cannot quite put your finger on why, this episode is going to surprise you in the best possible way. Because the thing is the cause of your resentment might not actually be your husband. It might not be the unequal division of responsibilities or the spiritual warfare you are carrying alone or even the weight of being the spiritual leader in a home that does not always feel like it is moving in the right direction. The answer might be a lot closer to home than that, and the Holy Spirit showed me exactly what I mean during a run last week. I am sharing two things that I was doing, or not doing, that were quietly feeding my own resentment without me even realizing it. And once I saw it, I could not unsee it. This is one of those episodes that is going to make you want to sit with the Lord and ask him some honest questions about what is actually going on beneath the surface. If you have been stuffing down what you need, telling yourself you should be fine, and then wondering why the resentment keeps creeping back in, this one is for you. There is so much biblical encouragement and Holy Spirit wisdom waiting for you in it. This is your friendly reminder that you are not just a Christian mom who keeps it all together. You are a daughter who gets to ask for what she needs. If you have ever wondered whether you are really cut out for this, whether you have what it takes to lead your family in faith when it feels like everything is on your shoulders, this episode is going to remind you of something you may have forgotten about yourself. You are already a leader. The qualities that make a Christian mom the kind of spiritual leader who sees real change in her home, who raises bold, faith-filled kids and trusts God for her husband, are already inside of you right now. Today, I'm sharing five leadership qualities that I believe every revival mom carries, along with some very real and honest moments from my own life this week that show what growing in these areas actually looks like in the every day. This is not about being perfect. It is about being Holy Spirit led, self-aware, and intentional enough to let God work through you right where you are. If resentment over doing it all alone - the daily prayer, the spiritual warfare, the faith building, has made you feel more depleted than equipped lately, I think this episode is going to breathe something fresh back into you and shift the way you see your own influence in your home. You were placed where you are on purpose. Let God lead you in your leadership. If you have ever found yourself hiding your faith in your own home, toning it down, keeping it quiet, or shrinking back from who God is calling you to be just to keep the peace, you are not alone and this episode is for you. There is one conversation I had with my husband that changed everything. It did not fix everything overnight, but it broke something open in our marriage that fear, insecurity, and resentment had been quietly keeping shut. And I believe it can do the same for you. We talk about what happens when we let the enemy use our silence as his playground in this spiritual warfare we are walking through daily, why daily prayer and seeking the Lord before this kind of conversation matters more than having the perfect words, and how being honest about your own discomfort can actually become the bridge to the understanding you have been longing for in your marriage. This is not about convincing your husband of anything. It is about finding common ground, releasing the fear and insecurity that has been building on both sides, and walking into a new level of communication that the Holy Spirit can actually move through. If you have been carrying the weight of feeling like you cannot fully be yourself in your own home, this episode has the biblical encouragement and the practical conversation tools to help you take a real step forward.
