Your co host.
Ed Gaudet
My Toho. I was trying to think of something witty like my buddy Jose. Coming in with a buddy. Hey, we haven't introduced you yet. Sorry, you can't speak yet until we introduce you.
Jose Macion
Chemistry.
Ed Gaudet
I love it already. Jose's gonna fit in here. But we're gonna wait till we bring him in. Right, because we.
Jose Macion
We've gotta.
Ed Gaudet
We've gotta mention our sponsors, Outcomes Rocket and Sensenet. Risk Never Sleeps podcast, available on your popular streaming platforms. Do we have any ads to read today?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
No ads. No, no. This is ad free content.
Ed Gaudet
It is ad free. It's huge. Right? All you kids at home build things that are ad free. We hate ads.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Right?
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. Okay. Jose Mahon.
Jose Macion
Yep.
Ed Gaudet
The man, the myth, the legend. I've heard a lot about you.
Jose Macion
No, you.
Ed Gaudet
No, seriously, you heard. Okay. Genop.
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
Did I get it right? Genop. Genop. Genop Health.
Jose Macion
Yep. All right.
Ed Gaudet
And is that your website? Genup Health.
Jose Macion
Yeah. Genophealth.com.com.
Ed Gaudet
All right.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
You got that dot com blockchain healthcare Internet.
Jose Macion
Yep. Powered by AI.
Ed Gaudet
That's hard. Did you just wink at me?
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, man, that was weird. That was a little weird. I don't think they. I don't think they wink at Joe Rogan, but I'm no Joe Rogan, so.
Jose Macion
This is pretty awesome.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, it's gonna get worse. So we're just getting started.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
We haven't eaten either, so that our.
Ed Gaudet
Blood sugar is starting.
Jose Macion
I got my box.
Ed Gaudet
You got your.
Jose Macion
My lunchbox.
Ed Gaudet
No eating on the platform. He's really shaking and moving around a lot. You. You're not nervous, are you?
Jose Macion
No, I am.
Ed Gaudet
No, you can. You can move around. It's fine.
Jose Macion
We're not video. You're making me nervous.
Ed Gaudet
Am I?
Jose Macion
No, I'm just.
Ed Gaudet
Okay. I make a lot of people nervous. So tell us about Genop Health.
Jose Macion
So genop Health, what me and my programmers did is we. We built a blockchain healthcare Internet. Wow. Which is powering and powered by artificial intelligence.
Ed Gaudet
Dude, that's way too smart. Like AI Blockchain quantum. Did you build it with a quantum computer?
Jose Macion
No.
Ed Gaudet
Okay, good. All right, so you're.
Jose Macion
That's next.
Ed Gaudet
That's next thing. All right, so you're the founder.
Jose Macion
Yes.
Ed Gaudet
All right. Congratulations.
Jose Macion
Thank you so much. First company. Yes. My first company.
Ed Gaudet
Congrats, dude.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
You don't know what you're doing for this.
Jose Macion
I was a data scientist for Keck Medical center of us.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, I know Keck. Yeah. Wow.
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
Damn.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
You decided to go for it.
Jose Macion
I did it during COVID times.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, yeah.
Jose Macion
Because I was working from home and.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
A Covid career shift.
Jose Macion
Yeah, Covid career shift. And they got. They caught on to me because I was working for Keck and I was.
Ed Gaudet
Working and you weren't being productive. And they're like, jose, what the hell's going on here? We know you got one of those keyboard movers around, right? Let's put this guy. We need a free ad. Hey, who do we get right now? Jose. He hasn't done much in weeks, but.
Jose Macion
The business is built, so. The business is built. Oh, my God.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, man.
Jose Macion
Oh, man, that's great.
Ed Gaudet
Well, congratulations. How did you come up with the idea?
Jose Macion
I was a consultant for quite a few years. I worked for medical groups like Kaiser Permanente. Also worked for insurance company HealthNet.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Oh.
Jose Macion
Yeah. So, damn. I was a consultant.
Ed Gaudet
Where'd you go to school?
Jose Macion
I went to ucla.
Ed Gaudet
Okay.
Jose Macion
Go Bruins.
Ed Gaudet
Go Bruins. Yeah.
Jose Macion
Nice.
Ed Gaudet
You from la?
Jose Macion
Yes.
Ed Gaudet
Whereabouts?
Jose Macion
I'm up the outskirts. I'm in the LA County San Fernando Valley. I live in Burbank.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Burbank.
Ed Gaudet
Okay.
Jose Macion
Cool.
Ed Gaudet
So you live now?
Jose Macion
Oh, no, I moved to Rancho Cucamonga.
Ed Gaudet
Rancho?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yeah. Yeah. It's here in San Diego. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ed Gaudet
I just like the name of it. Rancho Munga.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
It's beautiful over there. It's so beautiful.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. How did you end up there?
Jose Macion
Because my wife, she's native to that area. Oh, okay.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Parents there, so that's easier with the kids.
Ed Gaudet
That's the thing with the girl.
Jose Macion
Help out. Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
You. You don't. What's that?
Jose Macion
What do they help?
Ed Gaudet
Oh, they help.
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
How many kids?
Ed Gaudet
How many kids?
Jose Macion
I just have one, actually.
Ed Gaudet
Oh.
Jose Macion
Yeah? Because my wife had a stroke during the pregnancy, so we can't have.
Ed Gaudet
She okay?
Jose Macion
Yeah, she's fine.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Oh, she made it. Covers okay?
Jose Macion
Yeah. Got like a slight scar on her brain or on her temporal lobe. Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
How old's your kid now?
Jose Macion
Just turned nine on November 7th.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
I got an eight year old boy. Yeah.
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
This fun age. Happy birthday.
Jose Macion
Thank you so much.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
What's his name?
Jose Macion
Magnus.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Happy birthday, Magnus.
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
That's a powerful name to you.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Happy birthday to you Happy birthday, dear Magnus.
Ed Gaudet
It's Magnus.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
That's what I said.
Ed Gaudet
You said Magna.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
No, I said, Magnus, you were like magna, like, happy birthday, Magnus. Don't let this guy distract you.
Jose Macion
Don't let.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Don't get distracted by people.
Ed Gaudet
And just remember, you'll only be nine once.
Jose Macion
That's right.
Ed Gaudet
Right. So make it your best nine years old experience. My nine years old experience was incredible.
Jose Macion
Was it?
Ed Gaudet
Yeah, but I'm.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
You remember.
Ed Gaudet
I do, yeah. Yeah. I'm not on the podcast. It's incredible story, but I can't tell it.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
All right, so.
Ed Gaudet
But that's fourth grade, right? Yeah, yeah, see, that's. I remember.
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
I had to do a science fair project.
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
In fourth.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Oh, I know this story. All right.
Ed Gaudet
Have you done a science fair project.
Jose Macion
With your son yet? No, not yet. No. Oh, no, I did actually, when he was first grade, we did the volcano.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah, that's right, the volcano.
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
Every kid builds a volcano. Right?
Jose Macion
That's.
Ed Gaudet
Did it work?
Jose Macion
Yes, absolutely.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, cool. Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Hey, so why this AI? Like, why this?
Ed Gaudet
Why blockchain?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Why blockchain? And why blockchain? Like, talk to us.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. And how hard is that to get deployed?
Jose Macion
Oh, my God. It took forever. But thank God for Covid.
Ed Gaudet
We might want to cut that one out. Thank God for Pandemic.
Jose Macion
No, I'm just nobody. It forced me to focus on it because I was working from home.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Ah, yeah, no, yeah, I get that.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. I started writing poetry during COVID Oh, did you again? Yeah. Yeah.
Jose Macion
But why don't you read some of your sonnet?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Do you know any off?
Ed Gaudet
How do you know I have a sonnet? Like, that's a personal question. Is that a sonnet in your pocket.
Jose Macion
Or you just happen to see.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, Jose, this is a rated G movie. Come on now, sir.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Wow.
Ed Gaudet
Get this guy from and.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
All right, everybody, thanks for joining us.
Ed Gaudet
Maybe you shouldn't do the play date with his son after all. Might not want to bring him home. Your wife might have a problem.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
No, but tell us a little bit more. Like what need does what you do meet?
Jose Macion
So I firmly believe that interoperability should be the foundation of truly intelligent AI. There's no its ifs, ands and buts about it. Because in order to encourage AI to grow and nurture itself, you need to supply it with real time, comprehensive, quality data. And the only way to obtain that is to focus on interoperability. So that's how we came up with the blockchain Healthcare Internet is because if you join our network, it's easy for us to extract data in real time from your hospital or from your provider's office. Or from the insurance company, because this is what we're missing. The reason why AI doesn't mature appropriately is because it's lacking that real time, comprehensive, quality data. Yeah. So blockchain is. We focused on security because I know a lot of people are concerned because when our network keeps on expanding, it's going to be difficult to track everything. It's good. With blockchain, you can produce these blocks, these packets of data captured in blocks, and it's easy for you to control it because you're marking it in that ledger and it's transactional. And it's the most democratically inclined security system that we currently have.
Ed Gaudet
Are you an engineer by background?
Jose Macion
Yeah. I dabble. But my degree is in physiology. I was supposed to be a doctor. I got accepted to med school, but I dropped out after like a month.
Ed Gaudet
Why? Blood.
Jose Macion
Yeah. Really? Really.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
It was.
Ed Gaudet
No.
Jose Macion
What was it? I couldn't. The student loans. I like, it was pretty massive. Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
So you're like, man, this doesn't make sense.
Jose Macion
Doesn't make sense.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Doesn't add up.
Jose Macion
Yeah. I think it was either become a. Yeah. Become a doctor or do entrepreneurship.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah.
Jose Macion
I had to save money in order to launch my company.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah.
Jose Macion
So I worked as a consultant.
Ed Gaudet
You bootstrapped your company?
Jose Macion
Yeah, I bootstrapped.
Ed Gaudet
No investment.
Jose Macion
No investment. Wow.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Same here, man.
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
That's incredible.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
The way to go.
Jose Macion
Thanks.
Ed Gaudet
You guys are supposed to fist bump right now. There you go.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
I did feel like there was something missing.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
That I did. Feels complete, doesn't it?
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. I knew it was. Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
I was.
Ed Gaudet
You created the void in the universe there.
Jose Macion
That.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
I love it.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. You got to have the fist bump at the right time too. Hey, by the way, timing of it all.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
I don't know. I haven't told you guys this, but maybe I mentioned that Ed is actually one of my business mentors. Oh, I enjoy working with him. Not about. About Jose.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, this is so nice.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
And a big thing that you do is bootstrapping is surround yourself with the right people. So talk to us about.
Ed Gaudet
There it is.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Your team.
Jose Macion
So my team, I started off with my cousin in law because I saw.
Ed Gaudet
Him but in the family. Jose. Nice.
Jose Macion
I kept on seeing him at parties. And then.
Ed Gaudet
Is this guy working or not? Like, was that your. Like, does he have a job?
Jose Macion
Does this guy have a job? And then I asked him, do you have a job?
Ed Gaudet
And what he say?
Jose Macion
He said, no, I'm a computer software engineer.
Ed Gaudet
And you went, damn, I could use you.
Jose Macion
That's right.
Ed Gaudet
And you pay Him? Nothing. Because he's relative, right?
Jose Macion
Yeah, I started off just giving them food. Shares of the company. Food. Oh, and food. Yeah, cuz they love Filipino food.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, you're Filipino?
Jose Macion
Yeah. Like, what's that? It's like, you know, the egg rolls.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Oh, I love Filipino.
Ed Gaudet
Did I bring some in that box?
Jose Macion
My wife could cook it for you.
Ed Gaudet
Can she bring it here tonight? Because we'll still be here.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
We'll still be recording tonight. We're down at about 11:30.
Ed Gaudet
You got this lumpia stuff Ship.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Well, I had a buddy, his name was Jeff, in high school, from the Philippines. Well, he was born here, but do you know Jeff? I would go to his house.
Jose Macion
No, we just know everybody.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
I love those again.
Ed Gaudet
Another wing.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Those egg rolls.
Ed Gaudet
Can't deal with the words.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
So good.
Jose Macion
Oh, yeah, they're. Yeah, they're so fantastic.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, the Filipino.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yeah, the Filipino. Different. They're not Chinese egg rolls. They're so good.
Ed Gaudet
Are they rice paper? Yeah, rice.
Jose Macion
Yeah. Cold.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
My mouth is water.
Jose Macion
Oh, it's fried.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, it is fried.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yeah, yeah, it's right.
Ed Gaudet
What's in it?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
It's meat and cabbage.
Jose Macion
Meat and cap. Vegetables.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Carrot.
Ed Gaudet
It's not the mystery meat. Because you don't know, like pork and.
Jose Macion
Yeah, like stuff that you buy at the grocery store.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, nice. Stuff you can eat at the grocery store.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
So.
Ed Gaudet
By the way. By the way, this guy is blockchain. Like, he is the most.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
The embodiment.
Ed Gaudet
He's got the most trustworthy face.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
You do have a kind, right?
Ed Gaudet
You have a kind. Like it's in your eyes. It's very. Stop the winking. But other than that, like, it's very.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Like you're.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah, you're very soothing too. Yeah. He's a good guy, right?
Jose Macion
You can tell I grew up on Lupia.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Oh, so that's why.
Ed Gaudet
That's why you're an old soul too, I bet.
Jose Macion
Thank you. I am.
Ed Gaudet
Do you ever do any time travel?
Jose Macion
Yeah, sometimes in my dreams. Okay.
Ed Gaudet
You do astral projection?
Jose Macion
Yes, I do.
Ed Gaudet
You do? You know what that is?
Jose Macion
What? Astro.
Ed Gaudet
You don't know?
Jose Macion
What is it just deja vu thing? No, that's. That they should. That's an astral projection.
Ed Gaudet
Astral projection is. You can literally, when you sleep, you can actually travel outside your body.
Jose Macion
Yeah. Into space, right?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
No, not any space.
Ed Gaudet
You don't have a rocket, my man. You can go anywhere.
Jose Macion
You can go rocket.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah.
Jose Macion
Use.
Ed Gaudet
I got to get David reference. That's subliminal. Like.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
That's right.
Ed Gaudet
That's right. It's risky.
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
And it never sleeps.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Hashtag risk never sleeps.
Ed Gaudet
Are you a lucid dreamer? Do you know what that is?
Jose Macion
Yeah, like you remember it in color, right?
Ed Gaudet
Well, it's more. Yeah, that's part of it. But you can control your dream. You're conscious of yourself dreaming while you're dreaming.
Jose Macion
No, I guess I'm partially a partial. Partial?
Ed Gaudet
Yeah, just a color thing. That's it.
Jose Macion
The color and the now.
Ed Gaudet
So now when you see the color, that'll be a trigger to start lucid dreaming. So next time you dream, which maybe tonight or maybe not be depending on what drugs you take or food you eat before you go to bed, Right? Those egg rolls, man, they work. They work. No dream. It was like.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yes. So I met. Saul's trying to bring about it. Jose, tell me, like, what thing or things have you learned here?
Ed Gaudet
I don't want to know about the AI med stuff.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Come on, let's got to mix it in.
Ed Gaudet
He's a good. He's an interesting guy. I can tell. So tell me the hardest thing you've done in your life.
Jose Macion
The hardest?
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. Tell me about a challenge you had.
Jose Macion
Oh, man.
Ed Gaudet
Come on, make it human.
Jose Macion
Really?
Ed Gaudet
Yeah.
Jose Macion
Oh, man. Challenges. Yeah. Going to school. Waking up and going to school was like a challenge.
Ed Gaudet
Why?
Jose Macion
Because I'm lazy.
Ed Gaudet
Because I'm lazy.
Jose Macion
And I completed it because I didn't want to be poor anymore. Like I wanted to make some money. You grew poor? Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. Okay, so you.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Same.
Ed Gaudet
That's a driver, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jose Macion
We had. When we first came here to Los Angeles, it was just my mom and I. And then I got three brothers and one sister and we lived out of.
Ed Gaudet
What do you mean you got them and you bought them?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Like is it Amazon?
Ed Gaudet
What the hell?
Jose Macion
When we.
Ed Gaudet
I got three brothers and that only works that way. Jose, is that what your parents tell you?
Jose Macion
Adopted? Are they not just.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, oh, did you know them beforehand? They just show up one day. Hey, these are your brothers and sisters?
Jose Macion
These are dumb right here. You're so lazy.
Ed Gaudet
You didn't.
Jose Macion
I know. I didn't realize it. When I follow up, I didn't want to follow up with it.
Ed Gaudet
Who are these people sleeping in the house with us?
Jose Macion
I guess they're my brothers and sisters. Oh, man. No, but it was, yeah. Tough growing up.
Ed Gaudet
So you're self made? Yeah, yeah.
Jose Macion
Tried my best.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah.
Jose Macion
Your parents still around? Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, good.
Jose Macion
Oh, no. My dad passed away in 2018. But my mom's still around.
Ed Gaudet
Mine's still around. Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Well, listen, I know Ed doesn't care about AI, but, like, if you.
Ed Gaudet
If I love the humans. I actually do.
Jose Macion
I love the.
Ed Gaudet
He's an interesting guy, though. So you got to keep pulling. No, we will, we will, we will.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
All right, so, Jose, give me one AI thing that you've learned here that our listeners.
Ed Gaudet
Blockchain code. What is he going to learn here?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Come on, talk to me.
Jose Macion
No, it's just the steps to take. Look at. He's like turning red.
Ed Gaudet
I'm not feeling well. I haven't eaten my shit. Well, I'm kidding.
Jose Macion
Talk to us about AI that leap from generative AI to agentic AI. Yeah, that's the process that we're currently in because I. We actually created our own AI model, which is the artificially intelligent patient search engine. Apes we created.
Ed Gaudet
You're not really good at these naming things, are you? Apes and Gen Ops or no genop. Is that Gen Up?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
You know, say, listen, talk to me about marketing after this, all right?
Ed Gaudet
Yeah, yeah, we could use. You could. Yeah. And he's local to it. He won't charge you a lot. Yeah, they just charge you those egg rolls.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
That's it. Yeah. Pay me an egg rolls.
Ed Gaudet
We're good.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
I used to work.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Taught us about apes.
Jose Macion
Yeah. So apes, as you guys are well aware, we look at turning red again. Oh, that's crazy.
Ed Gaudet
Okay, go ahead.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
What does it stand for again?
Jose Macion
Artificially Intelligent Patient Search Engine.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Okay, got it.
Ed Gaudet
Can I ask a strange question? Why? When you ask him what his spells like, he goes artificially Intelligent search engine?
Jose Macion
Because I want to sound like a robot.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, is that what that is? You actually sound pretty good when you do that. Yeah, you should do that the whole time almost.
Jose Macion
Star Trek.
Ed Gaudet
Should we. Oh, are you.
Jose Macion
Yeah. Big.
Ed Gaudet
Should we re. Record this whole thing?
Jose Macion
It's bad. It's real bad.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
We do have.
Ed Gaudet
What are you doing?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
So let me see. Is that enough playing around? Nah, I was trying to. I was trying to.
Jose Macion
Okay.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, you're gonna go and do the music? We're gonna.
Jose Macion
There's a.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
No, there's actually a real bad here.
Jose Macion
If you wanted to do it.
Ed Gaudet
I love that. I love that too.
Jose Macion
So awesome.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, wait, I didn't. That didn't work for me. I just made it up with my voice.
Jose Macion
Awesome.
Ed Gaudet
Wait, what happened?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Anyway.
Jose Macion
Hi.
Ed Gaudet
Song. Take me to your leader.
Jose Macion
That's what it sounded like.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah, exactly.
Jose Macion
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
Thank you.
Jose Macion
Thank you. Love Star Trek.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
Can I wink at you?
Jose Macion
Yeah. Thank. Oh.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, that was Double wing bang.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
All right, so let's finish this. Don't let Ed distract you. This is.
Ed Gaudet
You can go back in time. What would you tell your 20 year old self?
Jose Macion
Invest in Tesla or Apple.
Ed Gaudet
Okay. Wow.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
All right, well, I want to finish learning about apes. Damn it.
Ed Gaudet
Okay.
Jose Macion
Go for the ape thing.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yeah, yeah.
Jose Macion
As you guys are well aware, we don't have a National Patient Identifier.
Ed Gaudet
Right, yeah, we know that.
Jose Macion
The bill still stuck and will never happen. Will never happen. No, we created this artificially intelligent model because they're good at recognizing patterns. Text, letters, etc.
Ed Gaudet
Images.
Jose Macion
Yeah, images. So what happens is. I lost my premium thought. No, just kidding.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
All right, I think we can forget about apes.
Jose Macion
Okay, let's forget about apes. Oh, here, I got it. I got it.
Ed Gaudet
Okay, he's back.
Jose Macion
All right, I'm back. So, as long as you have, say, for example, the Social Security number for reference and some demographic information, it's easy for that AI model to correlate all these different medical record numbers from all these different facilities. Because your medical record number from UCLA Medical center, for example, would be different from Keck Medical center of usc. So what it does. It. It compiles all these medical record numbers and uses the Social Security number and some of the demographic information to correlate the profile. Make sure that profile is exactly for that patient.
Ed Gaudet
So ape steals identities.
Jose Macion
No, it doesn't.
Ed Gaudet
That's what I just said.
Jose Macion
It just looks in every single medic. Oh, yeah. All right. That's connected within. That's within our network.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. So it'll look for that on the blockchain.
Jose Macion
On the blockchain.
Ed Gaudet
So it's all secure?
Jose Macion
Yes.
Ed Gaudet
Okay, good. You forgot that.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
I'm satisfied now.
Ed Gaudet
Okay, good. Are we done now? Can we play?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
All right. You're on a desert island. You could bring five records with you. What would they be?
Jose Macion
Five records?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
You better be a rock fan, because if you give me some other answer.
Jose Macion
No. AC dc Man.
Ed Gaudet
Okay, good. Oh, that was quick. That was good.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)

Ed Gaudet
That was good. Nwa yeah, there we go.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)

Ed Gaudet
You from Compton? No. Oh, okay.
Jose Macion
Yeah. Downtown LA. Far. From Compton.
Ed Gaudet
Well, you said N.W.A.
Jose Macion
Yeah, but we had 18th Street. Oh, in. In my.
Ed Gaudet

Jose Macion
Yeah, that's right.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. Really good. Yeah.
Jose Macion

Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
What?
Jose Macion
Yeah, I love Coldplay. Dude, you don't like Coldplay.
Ed Gaudet
AC dc, NWA Coldplay. One of these things is not like the other. Okay, I'll give you Coldplay.
Jose Macion
All right, fine. Oh, two more. Right?
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. You're on a roll.
Jose Macion
I gotta do it. Get the Snoop Doggy Dog one.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Okay.
Ed Gaudet
I don't think he goes by Doggy Dog. I think it's just Snoop Dogg.
Jose Macion
Yeah, it's Snoop now. Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
D, o, double G. Mr. Dog to you. Yeah, that's right.
Jose Macion

Ed Gaudet
Yeah, he's cool, right? Dr. Dre.
Jose Macion

Jose Macion
Oh, no. That's a sh. That should. He.
Ed Gaudet
Did he. Did he.
Jose Macion
Oh, yeah.
Ed Gaudet

Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)

Ed Gaudet
Yeah, you can't make it up, as they say.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Can't make one more.
Ed Gaudet

Jose Macion
Yeah. Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
Cool.
Jose Macion
Yeah, he's awesome.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah. All right. Any other questions for this gentleman?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
And this has been riskiest thing you've ever done.
Ed Gaudet
Do we ask him that?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
No, we didn't. No.
Jose Macion
Yeah. Going to school, but.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Oh, yeah.
Ed Gaudet
Oh, yeah, that's true.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
That's true.
Ed Gaudet
I'm lazy because.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yeah. You asked the advice to your 20 year old self.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)

Ed Gaudet
How about movies? What do you like for movies?
Jose Macion

Ed Gaudet
No, I would have said Massion. Are you French?
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
No, it's Filipino.
Jose Macion
Filipino.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Is that because it's Spanish? You know the Spaniards went over there.
Ed Gaudet
Yeah, they did.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Yeah. Yeah.
Ed Gaudet
They always conquer trouble.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)

Jose Macion

Ed Gaudet
It's incredible. Yeah.
Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
What'd you do there for nine hours?

Co-host (possibly Saul or another team member)
Dude, were you there with the Japanese architect that did the other side?

Jose Macion

Jose Macion

Ed Gaudet
Did they go to the park? Did they go to the park? Gaudi park, the little park there?
Jose Macion
Yeah. My adopted brother, he went to the Gaudi Park.
Ed Gaudet
Is that true for this. Oh, it was a joke. I was like, I can't read him anymore. Well, I lost it.
