From an abusive childhood to home health care then coaching, Dr. Rita Renee, a powerhouse nurse, leader and empowerment coach, shares her inspiring journey in this episode of Roaming with Restless Women.I enjoyed how she shared that working in home health, providing IV therapy and wound care, allowed her to make meaningful connections with patients and their families. If you LOVE Rock n' Roll history, you will LOVE this episode of Roaming with Restless Women! My guest for this episode is Kim Gottlieb Walker whose amazing career includes photographing legendary musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Joni Mitchell, and even Pink Floyd in the studio! She also became a union Cinematographer and worked on the "Halloween" movies and on "Cheers". She worked with Jamie Lee and said of her "she's one of the finest people on the face of the earth. She is absolutely so kind and compassionate, and she gets out there and speaks up, even about subjects that are uncomfortable. She is not afraid to speak on behalf of people who don't have a voice."And if that wasn't enough, she switched gears from photography to writing and released her novel "Woman in Love: A Novel of the 60s and 70s". The book took 25 years to write and has won over a dozen awards! Inspired by her own vibrant life experiences, the book weaves a rich tapestry of historical and personal events. Truly inspiring to see such dedication and creativity! Even my husband, an old school rock-n-roll walking encyclopedia, was impressed by this one!To reach Kim: kimgottleibwalker@gmail.com or get her novel at any book retailerTo apply to be on the show: https://www.intuitivewisdomcoach.com/roaming-with-restless-women-podcastIf you are a senior woman leader and are contemplating making a big career or life change, discover more resources on https://www.intuitivewisdomcoach.comFinally, please LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE or leave a review if you love the wisdom these women are sharing!

🌸 Did you know that unprocessed emotions can physically manifest in our bodies? Sophie Malahieude shared this powerful insight on my podcast, "Roaming with Restless Women." After losing her mother, Sophie experienced physical pain and difficulty breathing. Through yoga and mindful breathing, she discovered that grief, for her, was stored in her lungs. Shedescribes how emotions are not weaknesses but messages from the body. She explains that emotions are energy, and when this energy flows freely, we feel balanced. However, suppression can lead to distress. Sophie’s approach to teaching yoga focuses on helping people release trapped emotions through movement, breathwork, and mindfulness. Her insights are a beautiful reminder of the mind-body connection and the importance of emotional health. In this episode, we explore how to use awareness and self-inquiry to understand and process these emotional signals, leading to profound healing. 🧘🏻♀️💖Sophie has a book: "Beyond Emotion: Stop Letting Emotions Control You and Start Living with Love" that you can order from Amazon or other book retailer.
