What’s going on with mortgage rates?

The market is a little bit slower than we have been seeing but some houses still have multiple

offers on them and interest rates have gone up. Some people believe that buying power has

diminished but it is slowly turning into a buyer’s market so that means there’s less competition!

Greg shares his opinions on what is going on in the market right now and why you should marry

the home and date the rate. If you find the home you love, and you can afford the payment,

don’t worry about the interest rate! It’s more about the payment and how comfortable you are

with it.

Waiting is not the best course of action right now. You could end up paying the same amount on

a house that’s half the value of the one you want now if you wait a few years. Waiting it out is

just not going to help anyone. Don’t let the market dictate when you buy your home. You have to

buy it when it’s right for you.
