In this episode, I have a conversation with my friend and long time colleague, Graham Parker. Considered by Bruce Springsteen as, "The Only Singer I Would Pay To See", GP Is one of the craftiest songwriters in the business. We talk about our work together, his musical history bits of his history and the new book that's out called, "Graham Parker's Howlin' Wind".

Hailing from the Woodstock area of the Hudson Valley, Mona Freaka came on the scene only about a year ago and have been taking the music world by storm. Not only are all the members female, they're also teenagers. When you listen to their music, it's hard to imagine that they've been at it for such a short amount of time. I sat down with these guys and had a great conversation about who they are, how they got to where they are and what their plans are for the future.

This week, you get me, Dave Cook, talking about and playing some tracks from my favorite people and musicians. Spoiler alert... I'm related to some!!! Enjoy!

Timothy Hill... singer, songwriter, pianist, guitarist and overtone singer! What a special treat to speak with Timothy and have him share his vast knowkedge and talent with us all. But the real treat was the pasteries he brought with him! If you've never heard overtone singing, put on some headphones and enjoy!

Sylvia Bullett is an amazingly eclectic and entertaining songstress who has recorded three records at Area 52 and is currently working on her fourth. In this episode, she tells us about her story and we listen to a whole lot of her music.

In my talk with Harvey Sorgen, I've learned things about him and his career that I never knew in our 37 years of knowing each other. He's one of the most innovative and interesting musicians I've ever met and his love of music is apprent in our conversation. It was so much fun chatting with him and playing a number of productions that he's played on.

Fred Hand is an amazing Grammy nominated artist, a long-time teacher and musical genius! In this episode, we speak about all things Fred from his early days as a student to a teacher to a soap opera soundtrack composer and his career as a recording artist. He even treats us to a live in-studio performance. Enjoy this very entertaining interview with this fine musician.

I sat down with Cindy Cashdollar, the amazing steel guitar and Dobro player. We discuss many topics including the making of her solo record, Waltz For Abilene. We even get an in-studio performance, as well as listening to a few tracks from the album. Enjoy!
