False teaching would lead people off the narrow path to life. That’s why Jesus warns His disciples against the deception of false teachers. Although they may look good on the outside, their evil on the inside can be seen in the fruit of what they say. The Lord will not be fooled on the Last Day, however. False teachers do not truly know the Lord now, and they will depart from Him forever.
