Whether you're a coach, a stylist, or a wedding planner, if you've got a service based business to sell, this is the show you need to fill your calendar. I'm Jenna Warner, your new marketing coach, and this is Shiny New new clients. Used to think that mindset work was a load of crap. I never would have paid someone to be my mindset coach. I never would have thought that mindset would be the thing that would make my business double, double again, double again. I never thought that mindset was a practical way to spend my time if my goal was to grow my business. Like, I was not linking the two. And then I fell into doing some mindset work. And then the more I grew my business, the more I worked with other business owners. I realized that attitude really is everything. And turns out I've been doing a bit of this work my whole life just because of how I was raised. And it actually is, oh, it's so important. And one of the things that that stinks, you know, is I am not a mindset coach. And we try and sneak mindset into my work with my clients all the time because we see it hold them up. So I give people marketing strategy, I give them content strategy, we, we work on messaging, we work on copywriting. Like, it's all very skill based. But then I see people where what's going on in their head is, you know, they can't see the forest through the trees. Is that the expression? Something like that. Mindset is the thing that's holding them up. So then we sneak it in. I sneak it in by having podcast guests on here. I sneak in mindset lessons into my. Actually, this December, we are bringing in a guest to teach all of our clients live a mindset workshop. So by the way, if you've been thinking of enrolling, enroll before December 18th and you get a free ticket to that event. I'm going to tell you a couple stories and give you a couple really simple things to put in your pocket to help you have this energy of abundance, to help you have this positive business mindset. Not based on what I learned as an adult, but based on. Based on things that I have done since I was a little kid in some cases and then some. I've learned as an adult and as a successful business owner. And we're going to make this fun, right? This doesn't need to be heavy. A lot of times I've actually guested in other people's communities where they focus a lot of mindset work. It feels very heavy. It can feel very, you know, the line between therapy and mindset gets crossed and it's stressful and we're like going into trauma. That's not my role. That's not my. That's not my skill set. I'm going to tell you some fun things to try instead, and what's worked for me. All right. But first, a quick word from one of my past Magic Marketing Machine clients.

Hi, my name is Becky Jennings and I'm a parenting coach. I'm going to be real with you. I joined Magic Marketing Machine when I hit a plateau of followers and I didn't know how to gain any more traction. I feel like I kind of exhausted all of my creativity and I was trying to reinvent the wheel every single post. It wasn't working, it wasn't sustainable, and I was getting very discouraged in my own business. So I joined Magic Marketing machine with around 11,000 followers. I now sit today at over 100,000 followers because of Jenna and her team's help and support. They dialed in my messaging. They helped me get so crystal clear, and I created a repeatable system that I can easily follow with every single post. I know if I don't follow that system, the post is going to fail. And when I follow the system, the post thrives. So it is an incredible program for any person who wants to grow and get clients from Instagram. The coolest thing, the followers are awesome. Yes. I'll say that having over a hundred thousand followers feels amazing, but what's happening on the back end is even cooler. I have so many direct message conversations happening every single day with people saying, do you have a camera in my house? How do you know this is happening? This is crazy. And on top of that, I was able to double my income from the year that I joined Magic Marketing Machine to to this year. It's an incredible program. It is worth every single penny. You will not be disappointed. Her team is fantastic and it is worth every bit of it. I hope you join Magic Marketing Machine because it is life changing.

It's 2006. I still live with my parents because I'm so young, never actually revealing my age anywhere publicly. Anyway, so it's 2006, my mom yells to my sister and I come down to the computer room. Remember when we used to have those come down to the computer room I need to show you something. She sits in a wheelie chair. I think we only had two wheelie chairs, like desk chairs in that room. I think the third person was standing. I thought this was going to be something brief that she pulls up on our desktop computer. She proceeds to click play on the movie the Secret, based on the book the Secret, which I think at the time Oprah had just made famous. And listen, since then, has the movie shown to be pretty problematic? Yes, but just stay with me in the moment of the time my mom presses play on the Secret and we stand there for the whole 90 minutes where we learn the story of the secret, which ultimately is the law of attraction, meaning your thoughts create your reality. Now, I am practical, like I said. I like skills, I like hard work. I'm. I was pretty impressed by this movie and this concept of the law of attraction. I've had, like I said, been implementing a lot of this stuff under the guise of like, have a better attitude, have a good attitude. Like, that's important, right? So at first I was like, okay, law of attraction, magic trick, live your life based on magic. Got it. But later on when I heard it explained a different way, that's when I really was like, okay, I'm on board. So the way I heard it explained is your thoughts drive the choices that you make which drive your results. So if you actually believe you can get something, then you're going to take action with that belief in mind. You're going to take the right action as opposed to timid action or half assing it. And then you're going to get better results. So if that helps you too, great. That really helped me. And once I heard it said that way, I started seeing it all the time, right. Right down to my product launches. If I think a product is going to do well, I hype it up way more. If I'm a little bit nervous that a product I've made is not very good, then I'm over explaining it in the content. The content loses this element of fun and joy that attracts people. It's, it's pretty cut and dry when you think of it that way. So I learned about the Secret. I learned about this concept of like having dream boards. And even as a teenager in this moment, the dream board thing I translated into something really practical as well. It wasn't so much like, okay, well you named it and you cut out all the things you want and you collaged them onto a piece of cardboard. So now it's magically going to happen. But I was like, okay, well, if I want a car, this is how I used to think as a kid. I was like, if I want a car and I put a car on the dream board and I look at it every day, I'm going to remember at the front of my forehead, the front of my brain, that that's the thing that I want. And then I'm going to get a coffee instead of a latte, and then I'm going to pick up the extra shift at the Spicy Olive real name of a real restaurant where I was the hostess for a little while. I'm gonna pick up an extra shift at Spicy Olive instead of going out with my friends on Saturday night. And, yeah, that makes sense to me. If my goal is at the forefront of my brain because I put it on this cardboard collage dream board, then I'm more likely to get it. Okay, great. Again, I just, like, translated into something more practical. Okay, rewind. At this point, I'm younger. My mom goes to a money mindset workshop. It's like how to become a millionaire or something like that. And she comes home and she instructs my sister and I to, every time we see a coin on the ground, pick it up and say, I am a money magnet out loud to the coin. And I was a kid when that happened, and I still do it to this day. Sometimes I'm like, oh, somebody needs that dime more than me. But then I'm still just like. I created the habit of picking it up and saying, I'm a money magnet. And I. I truly believe that I'm good at making money. And I think it comes from, like, that repetition. I have never doubted my ability to make money. Even when I was a bartender, I'm like, I'm good at making money. I make lots of money. I can always figure out how to make money. And it was because of this mindset. Don't you think that if you don't believe that you're good at making money, that you're going to behave differently in a sales call? Like, if you're talking to someone and you think, oh, they're probably not going to end up booking with me. I. Aren't you going to talk to them differently versus saying you believe in your products, you believe in the price you set it at. You believe that this person is an ideal client. You believe this product would help them. And then going into a sales call with this, like, energized, positive vibe, see how that simple belief is going to shift your behaviors and shift your results? Your Thoughts drive your actions, which creates your reality. Let's take this to social media. How often have you gone to make a post and then thought, oh, last time I talked about this, I got a negative comment. You go to make a post and as you're writing it, you're like, ugh, this is too basic. I need to give them more. Everybody already knows this. This is just fluff. So then you don't make the post. So then you don't grow the audience. So then you don't make the sale. All because of this inside internal voice that was being negative, being nasty to you, being nasty to my friend. And if you would have made that post, believing somebody out there is going to need to hear this today. Or you know what, even if one person in my audience needs to hear this today, this is worth it. Then you make the post, it gets views. Someone DMS you and you've got a new client, which means a new person whose life you can now change. Let me bring you back even earlier, before the finding a dollar on the ground and going, I am a money magnet. Oh, the other one was, money comes quickly and easily. I used to think that constantly because my mom told to. So money comes quickly and easily. I am a money magnet. If you believe it's hard to make money, it's going to be hard to make money. If you tell yourself quietly, in the privacy of your own brain, your own skull, money comes quickly and easily. What if that thought drives your actions, which drives your results? So I'm even younger now in this story. My sister and I hated this so much. But one day in the family bathroom shows up a picture frame with. With a computer printout of these words, which I will now recite to you because my mom used to make us say them in the mirror. And I can't un memorize this text. That's challenging. But with a little more practice and a little more training, I can do or be anything I want. And I promise you, if I started that and my sister was nearby, she would probably just chime in, hey, Mallory, that's challenging. But with a little more practice and a little more training, I can do or be anything I want. Because we both had to say it again and again. And I thought it was so corny and so lame. But what if that poem is part of how I got to where I am? What if that belief in myself that I'm good at learning, that I can be anything I want, what if that shaped my future? Who's to say that it didn't If I would have looked in the mirror every day and said I suck, I'm bad at learning and I'll always be broke, would that not change how I showed up in my day, how I address people, how I addressed myself, the jobs I applied for, the attitude that I brought into a room? All right, like I said, there are people that teach this stuff way better than I do. And one of them is Nathaniel Epting, my co coach inside Magic Marketing Machine. And on December 18th for everyone inside Magic Marketing Machine gets to come to his event for free. And he told me some of the stuff he's going to be covering. One is a 2,500-year-old universal truth that will totally change how you view hard moments marketing your business. One of the biggest mistakes business owners make that stop them from showing up in their business. And he's going to tell you what to do instead. And then he's also going to share five simple exercises you can practice to find flow and ease without meditation skills. So you can even hear in that that we're pretty practical even when we're being woo. And because this is our last live workshop of the year, we never overload our clients at this time and we try and make it almost like a reset. Last year we did like a end of Year Plan 2026 and set goals kind of exercise which was really, really fun. So I'm excited for this. I'm excited to come and learn from Nathaniel and if you want to enroll in Magic Marketing Machine, now is a great time to do that, especially if you have lofty goals for your business in 2026. That's all for today and I'll see you in the next one.
