C
This is the shortest podcast episode you will ever listen to, but I believe it could be one of the most influential that you ever listen to if you clicked on this because you need a posting pep talk to get your butt on social media. I hope that I can give that to you right now. Here's the thing. I give a lot of pep talks to my clients because a lot goes into creating content for your business, right? Especially when you are the face of your business. It is a mental game. So, yes, I give my clients strategy, yes, I help them with, with marketing psychology and making sales. But I am very aware that there are other things happening in our brains that are the things that keep us from posting. So a couple weeks ago, I was leading a live workshop exclusively for my clients that's called Growth Spurt, where essentially I give my clients the step by step so that for two weeks they go so hard, post a whole bunch of experiments, and only post growth content in order to have a growth spurt on their account. To rip the band aid off, to figure out what works, to experiment with things you've never tried and really give yourself the space to succeed. And in that workshop, I said this, this clip that I'm about to play for you. And when I was listening to it back, I thought, you know what, I think a lot of us need to hear this today. So, content warning, there's going to be a little bit of swearing in this next clip while I kick your butt into posting content that you have been saving for a rainy day and ideally inspire you to post some awesome, amazing creative content right now instead of waiting another minute.
D
Burn your best shit. Burn your best shit. By this, I mean that photo where you went and got a photo shoot and then you never shared the photo that they took because you were waiting for the perfect moment and now you cut your hair. Okay, we've all done that. Burn the photo, post the photo. That photo is going up. That idea that you had and you were like, I will save this.
B
I will save this for the day.
D
When I don't know why are we Saving it. Post it. All your best ideas, you're burning them in spurt week. This is the moment you've been waiting for to burn them. Okay? If you are holding on to stuff like that, and I do it too, I have so many photos I never used because I was going to use them. I was just waiting for the perfect moment and it never came. And now I will use them. Now something in your head is thinking you're never going to come up with something as good as that thing again or you're never going to have a photo that's that good again or be able to pay for a photo that's that good or whatever. Okay? So we want to tell that voice to get out of here, okay? We're going to post it to prove to the voice that you will. That you believe that you will come up with something as good as that one idea again. And to force your brain to. Because now you have to, right? Instead of having some sort of idea security blanket. Okay, you're going to burn your best shit.
B
There you have it. That's the clip. Burn your best shit, write it on a sticky note and shove it on your computer. Remember not to save stuff for a rainy day. And, you know, this goes for offers, too, and content ideas and hook ideas. I truly believe that the reason we hang on to it is because we think that we're not going to come up with something that good again. And you will. You will come up with so many ideas. And I might even go so far as to say that the more you post those ideas, the faster that you will get at coming up with many, many more ideas. So I mentioned the Growth Spurt Challenge. This is the newest addition to my program, Magic marketing Machine. And it is a really cool challenge that we've had absolutely insane results for our clients. In essence, it's a pretty simple premise. And it came from my Summer of growth that I just did sort of as my own fun challenge. So summer was coming. Summer in Canada is very short. And I said to my team of my social media management agency, how do we feel about having a really chill summer? As clients leave us, we don't replace them.
C
We.
B
We just take it really easy. We don't fight to sell. I don't take sales calls, we don't promote our services, and we just relax. And then in the fall, we kick it up and we work hard in the fall. And everyone was like, okay, cool. So I spent the summer just posting growth content. If you're one of my clients, you know, there's three types of content you need to have your growth content, nurture content, and sales content. And you need all three in order to sell. But I just focused on growth, on having fun, on taking it easy, on not feeling the pressure to convert my followers so that I could feel this like freedom and fun in my content. And I've done this twice and the outcome at the end of my summers of growth has been wild. Like I, I kind of mix up the years, but one year I had a bunch of viral videos and then the first $10,000 day in my business with a really successful program launch, a live launch, and then another year we stacked our roster of retainer clients like I was onboarding so many clients that it was actually stressful. And this all came because I did this growth initiative followed by a sales initiative. So I took that and I condensed it into a two week protocol, a two week growth spurt protocol, gave it to my clients. We ran it as a live workshop. The workshop recording and workbook are now inside my program Magic marketing machine. And let me tell you some of the crazy results people have had. I have these right in front of me. One person says my growth spurt went well last week. Accounts reached is up 304%. You're also allowed to choose if you want it to be one week or two weeks because it totally depends on your energy levels. This other one says this growth challenge is actually helping me step back into my power as an authority in this space. Another one, Jenna. I just jumped into my bank account and had a deposit. I wasn't expecting. Someone signed up for my online coaching program who I don't know. That's always so fun and just started following me when I did the growth spurt. She's local and we've never even DM'd. That's just a few. Honestly, people send me these regularly now. Here's another one. I actually just got this one this week where she said, I just wanted to share with you that I've been doing the growth spurt for the last seven days. I wasn't sure it would make much of a difference as I have a small following, but my reach and engagement has definitely improved in that she sent me screenshots of her analytics and that person has under 200 followers. So this strategy worked for her even though she has a very small account count so far right now. But soon, who knows. So you can do your own version of the growth spurt where you go super hard with just growth content for two weeks, release the feeling like you have to sell. Burn your best half the content might even be stuff you already have sitting on your phone that you've just avoided posting for some reason. Just get rid of it. Just rip off the band aid.

We also have challenges where like if there's something you've been not doing, escape your. Your comfort zone and find creative ways to escape your comfort zone. And of course, if you want the actual step by step growth spurt challenge and you want to follow the workbook, huge amounts of idea generation in there and the exact strategy that these people are doing with the growth spurt. You get that when you enroll in Magic Marketing Machine, which is my program for service based business owners to help you get clients from Instagram, make amazing content and run your account in 15 minutes a day. And if you want more on that, just check out the notes below this episode or message me on Instagram. We can talk about it there. I've got links coming out of my ears and you can jump into my free masterclass that will tell you the full strategy that my clients use inside the program, like as a whole. And it's a robust program. It has everything that you need in order to nail it on Instagram. And in a way that's sustainable, in a way that feels good, you can sell in a way that feels comfortable, you can show up in a way that is authentic. Oh gosh, this is my. This is my jam. I don't actually hype up the program too much on this podcast because this happens. I'll just like keep going and going and bragging about all these wonderful people that I get to work with. Okay, that's it. Go post something. Okay? Just go. Don't start another episode. Close Apple Podcasts. Go post something for your business. Okay, I love you. Bye.
