So when you get the role of Sister Sage and you're playing such an interesting character, because unlike all these other motherfuckers who have super strength and body and they're doing things, your power is you're in Beautiful Mind. Like, how do you take on that role? Like what? Like, what goes into the preparation for that?

[Susan Heyward]

For me, the preparation was watching chess games. There was a certain stillness and focus when people were thinking about all kinds of possibilities and outcomes. And I also think in her life powers haven't necessarily brought good things.
