Monet, what's going on? So we are not reviewing RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars 7. I will be on the Pit Stop. If you want to hear my opinions on the RuPaul's Drag Race All Star 7 all winter season, then please tune in to the official review show, the Pit Stop. However, Monet and I decided it'd be really actually fun and interesting if we went back and reviewed some old Drag Race, specifically RuPaul's Drag Race Season 8,

Seis amios. So I think we should just. Well, before we get into it, do you, obviously you have fond memories of season eight? One, I would assume is winning season eight. What any other. Before we go back and watch all of it, can you remember anything off the top of your head that you really loved about your season besides winning?

I mean, there are a lot of things about the season that I loved. I loved meeting the people that I work with. I loved being on my first, like, television show as like a regular on a show, not just like some pop in and out thing. I love being in Hollywood. I loved doing drag. How long?

First time in la?

My first time in la, yeah. Ever. My first time in Hollywood over on. We used to film on Santa Monica and Las Palmas.

If you're in that. If you're. We don't. They don't film there anymore. But if you ever want to find out where they used to film Drag Race, at least season eight anyway, it was at Santa Monica in Las Palmas. Right here in Hollywood.

Yeah. Mine was not filmed there. Mine was filmed in Simi Valley, was season 10. And I don't know where they film All Stars 7. All Stars 7 was the same place they filmed All Stars 4, which is in Burbank somewhere. I don't know where it was in Burbank.

They just moved. Were they getting evicted? Why they moving around. Why didn't they moving so much?

All Stars 4 and All Stars 7. It's been the same place since All Stars, at least since All Stars 4. Which have been, what, like eight seasons since then?

I reckon so.

Oh, before, yeah. Yeah. That was because season 10, when season 10 got done, and I filmed season All Stars for riders in season 10. And that's when it's been at the. So season 10 was the first studio that was at the new space that they've been at for a while. All right, so let's get started with the entrance looks.

First to walk in for a season. First to walk in was damn Small. Naomi Smalls. And I think, Naomi, can you slow down? You are wild.

Naomi Smalls walked in, and I think Naomi looks incredible. This bodysuit is. She looks fucking hot. I love her choice of shoe. I love the hair. Naomi looks great.

I don't know what a bodysuit. I mean, I do not have the definition, but I know that a lot of things are called bodysuits. I'm like, what is a bodysuit?

So, I mean, I guess we can say this is a sleeveless leotard slash bodysuit, if you want to. And I think Naomi looks. She looks hot. She looks sexy, she looks great. And her interest line was, check your lipstick before you come.

She's the only one. Yeah, she looks really good. Up next, we have Cynthia Lee Fontaine, who said, how you doing, Misa Morris? You want to see my cuckoo? And she is wearing this red and white dress. It looks like two dresses put together, and the entire brassiere is exposed. And this is not a great look. I do not. I do not like this look.

This is not great. But I will say Cynthia had. She had so much energy. And when Cynthia came in, the room felt really. Not that Naomi brought it down or anything. I just want to say, when Naomi walked in, Naomi, she walked in like she owned a place. Naomi walked in. This was her apartment. She was just lounging around. She went to the mirror, she walked in. And Cynthia had great energy, too. I like Cynthia's energy. She was great.

Well, from the picture I'm only seeing from the side, the two pieces look a little wild. I will say I do like the red. I like that she had. I think that she. I think it looks fine. It's not like, my favorite look, but I think it's fine. I don't hate the look. It's not, but I think it's fine. I also like her hair. She was doing that old drag, which you don't see. I mean, in the drag that I on Drag Race now, you don't see often, but, like, Trinity did this. Cynthia did it with girls with Ginger Minj does it a lot when they take that black spray paint and they would spray their hair to blend it into the wig. So when I watched it again, I was like, oh, my God, I forgot queens do that.

I wouldn't wear it, but I also wouldn't wear what Naomi's wearing because I just don't possess the. I don't have the vernacular that I think I possess to wear. I don't know.

Yeah, but I wouldn't wear what Naomi is. I wouldn't wear what Naomi's wearing. Naomi's. You can see her body. I mean, that is Naomi's flesh under there. And if I wore that with, like, a nudely attornder, it just wouldn't be as sexy.

But she felt that she was probably standing up, and she's probably been waiting that look forever or trying to wait until we hurt her.

I'm not saying. No one's saying that she's not allowed to hurt. I'm just saying. I'm just intrigued by the fact that she's saying my feet are growling. It's probably 10 in the morning, maybe 9am and I'm just. I'm just shocked that her. That she's in pain. And like, girl, we. We haven't even done anything because. No, you're not. We're not standing around you. We're usually in a room. I remember before. Before the show, we were like. We were all sitting in these little individual rooms in the studio space. And then we get in the car and then we drive there, and then you wait in the Car. And then you stand outside the room for, like, maybe two minutes, and then you walk in. So we were not standing around in season 10.

We were waiting around. But were you standing? No, we weren't. You weren't standing. You were in a room by yourself. But some girls. But also, sometimes they tell you, yeah, you're like, you're gonna walk in 10. And then you know, 10 minutes because you are like, they're filming. Like, things happen. And 10 becomes 30. And you don't want to take your thing off because it's also your first day. So you feel nervous. So you want to be super prepared. You don't want to be the bitch that's making people run behind. So maybe she kept her shoes on and shit. Who knows why Jax's feet were hurting, but they were hurting. She was like, bitch, I'm sitting down.

Her calves were hurting on her feet. My calves are growling. Wait, Monet, can you talk about your experience waiting to walk into the workroom each of your three times?

Yeah. On season 10, I was very nervous. I was very, very, very nervous. It was your first time going. You have no idea what to expect. And I was also nervous about my reveal for season 10. I was like, oh, my God, what if I. Because I was wearing nails. What if I can't do it because I have my nails on? And I was like, fifth or sixth to walk in. So I wasn't waiting super long. I think about Aquaria. I was like, oh, my God, she waited so long. And also, bitch, when I'm nervous, I have to pee. So as soon as I got in the room, I was like, oh, my God, I have to pee. I have to pee. I was like, no, you can hold it. You can hold it. So it was literally me going off, like, 30 minutes about telling whether, like, juggling if I should tell them I have to pee or if I should hold it. And I ended up just holding it like a dumb bitch. And it was fine. But, yeah, I was nervous. Then Season All Stars 4, I was nervous as well. You're going back. And All Stars 7, I was nervous still. Yeah, I've been nervous every time I'm gonna go walk in the workroom. But going to my most recent time, All Star seven, was more excited. Like, oh, my God, I can't wait. But we still with that little, like, a few butterflies percolating in my stomach.

Yeah. And when we say waiting, you don't really know how long you're waiting compared to other girls because you're not waiting in a line. Like, there's only. They only load up one person at a time. And everyone is, like, sitting in these cars or in a van, but by yourself. It's not like a big van with everyone. It's like a car or a van, and you're the only one in the van. And then you go into the building. Up next, we have Naysha Lopez, who is a former Miss Continental, which is probably the most prestigious drag pageant there is in the world. And she's wearing. I actually like this look. I think this skirt is really cute. I love this pleating. I love this, the. The feathers on this top.

I love her hair. I like her shoes. She goes, hola, the beauty is here.

Like, I would wear something like that now with, like, this feathered long sleeve top with the gloves and this girl. I think she looks great with the bang. Long straight hair. I think she looks gorgeous. She looks great.

I love that she's spraying this stuff all over this mask. I like this outfit is so eclectic. Her hair looks cool. Uh, this is a cool. I love this entrance look. And I love her. Her entrance, everything. I. I'm obsessed.

I think acid looks great. I remember when, back before she was on the show, like, Acid had this. Like, I was on her Instagram and she had this hair that she was, like, styling for something. I remember DMing her. I was like, hey, I would love to. Cause I wanted hair like this. Cause I used to love doing just my ball head and, like a piece on top of it. Like, I remember messaging her like, hey, I would love to have this piece. But she left me on red. So I asked, if you listen to this now, can I have this hair? I would still wear this hair. It looks really cool. Do you like the look? I would wear the look. I would definitely wear the hair, but not the whole look. The whole look isn't something that fits my aesthetic in Dragon, but I wouldn't wear it.

But I really think it looks really cool. And she said the main bullet point to Acid Betty is that she is a bitch. And I Can confirm she's not joking around. Acid Betty is a bitch.

She. She let us know that she was the one to be the bitch of the season. And I fucking love that. Up next was Ms. Robbie Turner was after Acid Betty. And honestly, this is one of my favorite. I don't know why I think this entrant line is funny. She walks in, she says, good morning. I didn't realize this was happening today. And for some reason, I love this entrance line. And I think Robbie looks great. I think that. I mean, I would definitely like some more body on her if she was to bring the waist in a bit more and put some. I can't tell if she's wearing pads or not, but I would. I think it would give us. It would give us a little more. Va, va voom. But I love the ostrich feathers. I love the robe. Um, I think I. I like the look. I think it's great.

Um, I also love this line. I've always said if she ever came back, she should walk in with her wig in her hand and, like, half her makeup done and go, no, guys, I'm serious this time. I really didn't know what's happening today. That'd be a great interest line. And I do not like this look. I. I don't like that her panties are busting out of the bottom of this dress. It makes her torso look so long. It makes her legs look so short. Um, and I do not find this color scheme to be flattering.

But I really did enjoy her interest line and her energy and all that stuff was actually really fun.

I think it's all, like, too much red. Or maybe a different color wig would have made it pop a little more. But this is a quintessential Thorgy. Like, this is something Thorgy would have worn to Tuesday nights at Saliva. This is something. Something Thor dude of wore with, like, a crazy headpiece on it. I think Thor do looks great. It's her personality. She's a fashion clown.

Thor did. The only person I know who is constantly laughing and, like, having a good time, but also, like, constantly complaining. Like, I've never met anyone who's, like, seemingly having such a great time, but also seemingly so miserable, which is part of her charm. I've known Thorgy for. She's my oldest drag friend. I said the time and time again, and I like this look. I like the hair, I like the belt. I like the. Howard is so Thorgy. Her energy coming in was so good. I thought Thorgy was just. This is a great, great entrance. I think Thorgy is just watching at home. I would have been. If I was like, not on this season. That was not a fair critique. I remember thinking, that is a very unfair critique.

So at the beginning of the lip sync, I'm like, in my. For me, Naysha is doing a better job because she's just not allowing herself to be eaten up by the stage. Like, the lights are on her. She's right in the front. She's Doing the thing.

But then Layla McQueen did her little knee drop hair whip, and I think that's where she ate Naysha Lopez up in the lip Sync. And we also. There was some other stuff that I was kind of like, oh, my God. There was just a lot going on. That's this episode. I was, like, called back to, like, all these things that I, like, remember and be like, wow, I forgot about that. That was a whole moment. But Naysha Lopez, who is a former Miss Continental, by the way, which is, again, the most. One of the most prestigious pages in the world, is the first girl to go home on season eight of RuPaul's Drag Race, unfortunately.
