I started Ornod in 2013 and we make bike apparel. The best part of Shopify for me is our ability to run the business as essentially non technical people. We're able to admin everything on the back end, front end, and sell things online easily.
B
If Shopify were a bike accessory, I think it would actually be the bicycle.
A
It's the thing that you do the thing on. We run the business on Shopify. Start your free trial on shopify.com.
B
Well, well, well. You know, I cannot believe in both of our Drag Race tenures, we've never crossed paths. Tia, have we not?
A
I feel like we have a.
B
No, we didn't. I don't think so. Not unless it was. I was drunk somewhere or high somewhere.
A
No, I feel like.
B
Which is possible.
A
It's possible. We have. In my heart, I feel like we have.
B
Oh, well, for sure. We are absolutely kindred sisters. Like, there is. I feel the. I feel the sisterly connectivity. And I don't say that because, you know, there are so many of us now. Everyone is like, yeah, girl, my sister, my sister. I'm like, no, I don't feel that. I don't feel that vibe of everyone.
A
Yeah. I don't even say that about people I was on a season with. Do you know what I mean? Just to clarify, when we were doing Watry for UK season three, you already. You did an episode together,
B
Clocked well, bitch. You didn't remember either.
A
I felt. But I just. I felt like we had.
B
I felt like it too.
A
I felt like that's what I was remembering, obviously.
B
Wait, was that Tia, how is UK versus the world? You really. Every time I open my Instagram, there is a meme of you did the clips of you at the Rolls are circulating now and you had RuPaul fucking kiki kakaen falling over his chair.
A
I mean, every time I open my Instagram, it's someone commenting Team Marina on one of my posts. So we've got different, different energies. It's been wild. It has Been wild this time around. I don't know what has happened, what is in the water, but I'm just gonna say the fans have got crazy.
B
Oh, really? Do you feel they're even nuttier than like your original season?
A
Listen, the first time I felt like I was Princess Diana, like I could do no wrong. This time I'm Camilla, the second wife. And everyone knew in a car dash, like it wild.
B
Well, you know what, really quick about that. I've been looking back, I'm like, the way that Charles aged. Diana should be happy that she did not end up with that man. He looks crazy.
A
Yeah. I mean, yeah, it's gone downhill pretty quick. Which I worry about William because I'm like, what's going to happen, girl?
B
He's. First of all, the fact that he walks around the world with his head and just none of this hair is here and he proudly is walking around. I'm like, bitch, put a hat on. You are. Turkey is a 45 minute plane ride away. Go to Turkey, William.
A
Go to Turkey. Put a hat on. Have you seen all the stuff about Princess Kate, though?
B
Yes. And, you know, I mean, I don't know where you stand if you're a royalist or not, but as Americans were really enthralled in it, right? It was on all of our news. Everyone was talking about this thing and now everyone feels really bad. They're like, oh my gosh, she has cancer. We're fucking assholes for talking about this woman's condition.
A
Yeah, it was fun when everyone thought she was hiding at Taylor Swift's house because that was camp. But this is now. It's sad. But they didn't need to Photoshop. It made it weird. Why are we talking about the Royal Family?
B
I don't know. I don't know. Because we are talking about Drag Race royalty, potentially. So there is a connectivity there.
A
I see queens. Queens.
B
I see you see. Honestly, T and I, we need to do a sibling rivalry episode. Fuck watcher. I just wanna just talk to you about life and just Kiki. But I think we should save that for. I feel like if we're together in person, it'll be like, this is obviously great, we, but we should do like a rivalry episode when you and I are like, together. We can be like, touch each other and laugh and Kiki and drink and I think that would be even better.
A
I feel like it should be us reviewing every look Thorgy Thor has ever worn on Drag Race.
B
Well, there's only like seven, so there wouldn't be that many. Sorry, that Is true. But, ladies and gentlemen, enough about Thorgy Thor. We are here for sibling guachery. We are reviewing episodes of season 16 of RuPaul's Drag Race, and we are coming down to the wire. The end is near, girl. We can see the ending of the season. And have you been watching the season?
A
Oh, like, completely. I'm obsessed. It makes honestly makes no sense to me. I don't know what is happening, who is placing where, who's getting to the top four. Like, I don't know what is going on.
B
I will say they did a very good job this season of the story. Cause, you know, the storytelling of the season with editors and stuff, they really have made it a rat race. Right? Like, when the season first started, I was like, oh, Nymphia is winning hands down. Then she had Lalol, and I was Nymphia and Sapphira. And then Sapphira was kind of down for a really long time. And then I was like, oh, plane Jane is taking it. And then I was Sapphira. So, like, we are really on this roller coaster where I really. There's like a top three. Three of them. Can. I can see three of them winning at this point?
A
Still in my heart. Plasma is still going to win, but I need to come to terms. I need to make peace with that elimination.
B
Oh, my God. Are you a plasma? Stan?
A
I will always root for a girl who has mid looks on the Runway. To be honest, she gave me personality and musical theater, so I'm into it.
B
Girl as a bitch that gave mid to bottom looks her original season. I agree. I am that girl. But the music, well. Cause you're a theater girly. I'm not a theater girly. I'm an opera girly. So sometimes the theater queen's really, really great on my nerves. And plasma was one of them.
A
Wait, so is there like a difference between, like, opera girl energy and, like, MT girl energy?
B
Yes, of course.
A
What's an opera girl energy?
B
Well, opera girlies, we. We. We like to take our craft very seriously. Music theater does too, but we just don't try hard about our thing. And we don't tell everyone about our craft because people make fun of us for it. We're just like, oh, you sing opera? And they like, they think. They think things about you as opposed to mt girlies, they. They think they are the creme de la creme. They love telling everyone who will listen that they are Broadway. We're like, I sing opera. You know what I mean? We're a little more subdued. So I Think that's the disconnect for me.
A
No, I see. I see it. Sapphira's got the opera girly energy.
B
Exactly.
A
Plasma. Have the jam vibes. The jam.
B
Exactly. Oh, my God. Perfect. Sapphira is literally like. Sapphira is like. She's like, I know what I have. I know I sing opera, and I do that where Plaza's like, icing mt. And she's like, but I'm gonna do a shanae, a step turn, a stick turn. You know what I mean? It's very much that.
A
Okay, I've got it.
B
Okay, so let's get into. Let me open my notes here.
A
I've got them.
B
Okay, so. Oh. So right off the top, we see that Q is pressed right from. She's still pressed from the past episode. She is. She is in her feelings, she is sulking, she's upset, and she's letting it be known that. Well, she's trying not to talk about it, though, because she's like, I'm not going to talk about it. But the girls are asking. She's like, no, I'm not going to say anything, but we know what's up. She is mad as hell that Sapphira won the challenge instead of her. Did you agree that Sapphira should have won over Q?
A
Well, I mean, Q panini pressed. But the thing is, I think I disagree with her saying that she didn't want to talk about it because, you know that girl who's like, I don't want to talk about it, but the face is saying everything she wants you to ask her about it. She absolutely needed to get it off her chest and say it. I get why. Because there were a lot of things happening in the previous episode that might be leading her to feel like she was about to win that challenge for sure.
B
RuPaul was edging the fuck out of Q and Plane J's team. He was edging them. He had his hands on their dicks, and as they about to come, he took his hands off 1000%.
A
And Sapphira jizzed everywhere. Like, that was wild that that happened. But also, Sapphira was good. I feel like she deserved to win. I don't think you can take that away from anyone. It's not anyone else's decision, but Ru.
B
Yeah. And also, like, I love this thing about Sapphira. Sapphira is also. She's like. She always plays, like, this mother figure, and she's, like, talking to the girls, and she says to Q, she says with her words, she said, you know, I love you. And then Q. I really noticed that Q paid her dust. Q did not say, I like you back, I love you, sister, or anything. She just literally paid her dust. And I thought that was very telling, especially with Q lately. She gets very plucked. So I'm very interested in this Q storyline, this narrative we're getting by. Ms. Q Delarouche.
A
Yeah, that little argument reminded me of. I've been rewatching down under series two because Hannah Conda is in it. And it reminded me of this argument that Queen Kong had with Beverly Kills, where Queen was very in control and very aware of the situation. Being motherly as Sapphira is, Beverly could not take it. And she, like it stayed with her for the next week and the week after. Wild. Just let it go. Release it to the universe. Be free.
B
Yeah, girl. But I honestly, I will say the top of the episode, because you're still in last week, like I do for that is the time, the chance to kind of be up in your feelings. But, like, by the time the next day comes, which kind of happens, you just gotta let go and let God and move on to the next. Next week, girl. New challenge, new worries, new stresses. Dawn does say this, though. She says Q is a bit of a. Q is a bit of a sore loser. But we all have our vices. That's hers. I love Dawn's little shady little lines, her shady little quips. It makes me very happy.
A
Yeah, I had a moment where I was like, is dawn the villain? And then I got on board with it again. Like, there were a few episodes where I was like, no, this is too much. And now I'm back with it.
B
But, I mean, I think dawn is the villain. She just. She just hides under the guise of, like, the twinkie, little innocent, little white. She's not even that innocent, though. I think dawn knows she's the villain, and she leans into it a lot in the season, in my opinion.
A
Yeah, it's giving demon twink privilege. Like, she could get away with it because she's the demon twink of the season.
B
So the next day, the Werk Room, you know, after a full night's rest, you know, a little skincare and some water, Q comes back in the next day, and I'm like, okay, this is a new day. She's gonna be fine. Bitch. She doubles down on her feelings. And then she says with her own mouth, sapphira, your win was undeserved. And she's invalidating Sapphira's entire shit gag.
A
Why undeserved? Why not? Like, I felt like I should have won more or, like, why not? I wanted it or something else. Undeserved.
B
Undeserved. That's fighting words. Damage fighting words.
A
If someone said that to me, I would not be able to handle it. I would have been coming for them a little bit too hard. But Sapphira maintains a level head and discusses it.
B
She really does, honestly. Kudos to Sapphira because. Especially because you and I both know this at this point. This is episode 12. You've been there for, like, what, three weeks at this point? Three, four weeks. This is when you start to, like the smallest shit. But somebody takes a piece of salmon, you want it at lunch, that shit will start to piss you off. I would have probably been very heated.
A
Oh, yeah. No, I do remember I was unable to handle things at that point, so I can't believe she manages to, like, maintain that kind of level head. Could never be me Would never be
B
me could not be me no, could not be me. So Ru comes in and he talks about the mini challenge, and they basically have to. The girls are gonna have to paint their faces and get. And rub their mug onto these T shirts a la Tammy Faye. Do y' all have a Tammy Faye referenced in the uk? Is that a personality?
A
Y' all know I've seen, like, the World of Wonder documentary, but I haven't. I don't think she was, like, particularly big here. I don't think we've got, like, a version of Tammy Faye that I can think of.
B
You saw the Tammy Faye documentary, World of Wonder. So you and, like, three other people.
A
Yeah, it was me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Me with my. Well, present plus subscription that I'm still bitter that I have to pay for,
B
girl. You know, they give it to the American girls for free. We don't have to pay for it.
A
You get it for free.
B
Yeah, we get. We don't pay for. Wow. Presents.
A
Plus, I will be sending a strongly worded email to RuPaul Charles.
B
Yeah, like, as well. Like, literally, when you, like, Ren yours after your season, they send you a subscription code. And it's like. It's like a lifetime thing every year. It charges the yearly thing and it charges your card, but it recredits it right back after you do it.
A
Are you joking? I. I wonder if that code works in the uk.
B
Oh, yeah. I'll send you mine. I don't know if it will, but I'll send it to you.
A
I love that. See, this is the sisterly bond.
B
I got you, girl. I got you I got you in these challenges. I really think in my favorites, because of the pun. And dawn does this a lot in her things, like her shirt said, I ran into dawn at dusk. Like, she's always trying to find the little, like, idioms and things she can say about her brand, which I think is very smart. And I liked her as the most.
A
She's like a. She's a creative queen. I think this challenge, on the whole, was one of those ones where it's like, well, it's gonna be what it's gonna be like. It didn't require too much skill, I would say, but it was fun to watch them rub their faces on people.
B
Yes, girl. And, I mean, I would love to rub my body, my face all over. Fucking Bruno. Bruno is so hot. And fun fact, irl. Cause Bruno is always hanging around in la, and we ho and shit. Bruno is so sweet. And on set, obviously, we don't really talk to the pit crew, but irl, he's such a nice guy, and he's really sweet, and he, like, has a lot of beautiful, passionate interests, and he's hot. I love Bruno.
A
I met Bruno once at dragcon la, and Bruno is the only reason that I will be coming back to DragCon LA,
B
girl. Yeah. The last DragCon I did was DragCon UK 2020, right before the pandemic. Bob and I did it together, and that's the last DragCon of it.
A
Wait, was that the first UK one?
B
That was the first UK one, yes.
A
Oh, I was. Fun fact there. Running something Wong's booth because I hadn't been on Drag Race yet.
B
Oh, shit. Right. Yeah. Cause y' all season aired in the pandemic.
A
Yeah. So, like. Well, we were filming it in the pandemic.
B
Filming. Yeah, filming in pandemic. Yeah. That's what I meant. Yeah. Wild.
A
We were in the same room.
B
Also, Norvina makes the Monet X change reference, and I was like, ah, keep me alive, Norvina. Keep me alive. Talk about the duel.
A
I love it when that happens. I did fully.
B
I do too.
A
I was like, whack.
B
I want to go back on Drag Race to, like, mentor challenge. Like, you know when Ru does the walkthroughs and he comes with someone, like, I think, bitch. They had Vanjie doing a comedy challenge. I'm like, if Vanjie could do a comedy challenge, I can do whatever I want to.
A
I agree. You were great on. It was kind of diverse. Is the world that you.
B
Yes, I judged. That was so nice. Would you. Would you want to? What? What if There was another season. You can come back and judge. Which one would it be?
A
Oh. Oh. If I could come back and judge a season, Obviously, I want to say Drag Race UK because it's, like, my home one, but I feel like I'd want to do, like, Drag Race Germany because I can sort of speak German a bit and see how well do you.
B
Really?
A
Well, I studied it for a while, so where I'll, like, do a little duolingo course and try and refresh it. Can you say Rudolph phrase in German? Why you put me on this one? No, I. J. Kun.
B
I can say it in German. You know, I speak German too. Du halde kunsten wifi grauwen stunden work.
A
I don't know. The signal went funny when you said it, so I just pretended to react like that. It probably sounded great.
B
So this. Well, wait, wait. Other question. My follow up was, like, what kind of challenge would you want to judge, Joe? Like, I think the most exciting ones for me is really. I. These are my favorite type of challenge. The one we did in this episode, the designer room one, because we did that on All Stars 4. I like these. I like to do that. Or because they're so exciting. And there's so many looks. Obviously a ball episode, because you just see and, like, a ball episode at the beginning. The ones where it's like, 42 looks like. I would love to judge one of those.
A
That is a full week of your life gone. I think I'd probably go for, like, a comedy challenge. I'd want to do, like, a roast. Yeah, that's a good one. Maybe, like, be a guest on, you know, like, the Snatch Game. Panelists.
B
Oh, yeah, I like to do that,
A
but with another queen. And then we both dress as each other just to confuse everyone.
B
Ooh, I like that. I like that. Maybe. Yeah, that is. Yeah. I was gonna say something about Smash Game, but I'm gonna save that for later. We'll get back to what I was gonna say later. It's gonna make sense later. Okay. So in this episode, the girls are starring in a hit renovation show, Bathroom Hunties, where they basically have to renovate bathrooms and make a powder room. One you wanna stay in. It's just a design challenge, but for a room. Have you. You didn't do one of these? They haven't done one of these in the uk. Only. Only American Draggers, I think.
A
No, I think we're just a small island. We don't have the space to build such large sets, so I feel like we probably wouldn't be able to pull it off.
B
I was just in the UK last. I literally came back on Sunday, and I was staying in soho area, and this is my first time being in the uk, where it did not rain a single time I was there. And honestly, it was very charming.
A
It's nice when it doesn't rain.
B
It was fab.
A
Yeah. We've got history.
B
And also, this really hot guy was staying in the same hotel as me, and we happened to, like, bounce into each other. Every single time I was going to the downstairs or leaving the hotel, he bounced into me. But we would. And there were two elevators, right? You go to the thing. There's elevator on this side, elevator on this side. And we would both be waiting for the elevator. When my elevator. When the elevator would come, I would get in and he wouldn't get in with me. So I think he was homophobic or whatever. But he was so hot. So, sir, staying at the Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Hi.
A
See, I bet it was internalized homophobia. I bet he was like, monet is so hot as well, but I must resist.
B
So the girls have to work in teams. The teams are Sapphira and Plane Jane, dawn and Nymphia and Q and Morphine. Off the bat, in my mind, because they're both very creative, I thought that Nymphia and Dawn, in terms of design, I thought they would be the best ones. But in terms of. But we know every challenge of fucking Drag Race is about comedy. It's not about who has the best design. It's about who can make the most puns and be funny. So I'm like, but Sapphira and Plane Jane, that's a very strong. That's a very, very strong team.
A
Oh, yeah, fully. I was like, sapphira and Plane Jane have got this. No matter what, I know we're gonna see them struggle for 10 minutes, and then they'll pull it out of the bag. But I was, like, so convinced. I was actually the opposite. I was really nervous for dawn and Nymphia, really.
B
But they're both really strong. Like, aesthetically.
A
Aesthetics. Yeah. But as you said, a lot of Drag Race comes down to comedy and making puns and all of that kind of thing. And they've sort of got that kind of chilled energy. Like, they're quite low energy. So I was like, this is a weird pair. I don't think it's gonna go the way it's gonna.
B
Yeah. And then for the last team with Morphine and Q, I didn't feel any ways about it. I Didn't feel they would be strong or weak. I was just kind of interested to see what was going to happen. And then at first, the concept they were talking about, I was like, oh, this sounds like an interesting. Like this. This is a concept with an interesting point of view. I think this can be fun. I was interested by what they were talking about doing as a team.
A
Yeah. But I was nervous about it because of Q being so panini pressed still.
B
Yeah.
A
And like, knowing full well she would want to prove herself this time and show that she was hilarious and could present and she deserved the win. I was like, she's gonna, like, over egg the pudding and go too far and, like, bit nervous.
B
Over egg the pudding. I like that phrase. I'm gonna start putting that in sentences. I'm like, girl, you over egging the pudding. Calm the fuck down.
A
You know, it works in too many circumstances. Very versatile phrase.
B
Ah. Oh, baby, I think you over egged the pudding.
A
Very hot.
B
I like that. I like that. I like that also. Oh, Sapphira and plane. Jan is talking about the concept they're gonna do. And I. And because again, this is like. Because I think these queens are. They're more seasoned. They've been around for a long time. I think that their concept of putting, like, doing a show in the powder room and having all that stuff, it just sounds. Their room sounds exciting. They sound like they bring in a lot of elements and just them discussing it. This one sounds the most exciting to me.
A
Yeah, definitely. They had, like, exciting concepts and they're quite sort of like, I feel like they've got the energy. Do you know what I mean? Just, like naturally effervescent. So. Yeah, no, I definitely agree with that.
B
What do you think about this thing, this whole narrative this season? They say that Nymphia is always like. Is always pretending like she doesn't know what she's gonna do. And she's always putting on for the camera and she pulls it out. Like, what do you think about that?
A
I mean, she could just be very insecure, which is a valid thing to be. Like me every day of my life, walking down the street, I'm like, am I gonna remember to blink today? Like, you could just be scared of stuff and not, like, sure of your own abilities. I feel like it was the turning point on that was the girl group where she was like, I don't dance, I don't perform, I don't know what I'm doing. And then she ate.
B
Yeah. But then we find out that fucking Megami wrote her verse for her. So, bitch, that's half the battle. Someone wrote the thing for you.
A
Do we have confirmation of that or is it just Megami's word?
B
You're right, it's only Bugabi's word.
A
We have confirmation because she, she tweeted about it. And then the other episode where she did the really bad verse, there's a. One of the girls comes up at her and is like. And she's like, oh yeah, Megami reminders last time. I don't know what I'm gonna do now that she's gone.
B
Oh, right. All right, you're right. You're right. That did happen, Jacob. That did happen.
A
Okay, yeah, we have confirmation on that.
B
We do have confirmation. You have confirmation.
A
Hey, it's Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile. Now, I was looking for fun ways to tell you that Mint's offer of unlimited Premium Wireless for $15 a month is back. So I thought it would be fun if we made $15 bills, but it turns out that's very illegal.
B
So there goes my big idea for the commercial.
A
Give it a try@mintmobile.com Switch upfront payment
B
of $45 for three months, $90 for six months, or $180 for a 12 month plan. Required $15 per month equivalent taxes and fees. Extra initial plan term only greater than 50 gigabytes. Me slow when network is busy.
A
See terms.
B
So. And there's not really much that happens here. Then they go to actually create these rooms and okay, as someone who's done this challenge before, so what happens is this is a little inside tea for y' all hoes. What happens is they give you like a catalog from like a, from a, from a. From a movie set prop house, right? From like Universal. Like Universal has a very big prop fucking like acres long of like props and like things that they use to design sets for movies or whatever. And then so to give you this catalog, you kind of like sift through it and you kind of like pick the items that you go. That you want to use. And I don't know for these later teams because our season was the first All Stars. Four was the first time they did this challenge. They took us on a field trip to the actual prop house and we went around and we looked at all the things that we selected. And I think that's when Naomi, Monique and I saw the alien baby incubator thing and all these elements and we're like, oh, we want to use these things. And then they brought it into set for us and then they placed it in the room and then with the painting. Yes, you start to paint yourself, but they come in and finish it for you. So that's how that works.
A
Well, I'm just obsessed with the fact that you got to leave, like, even for like 20 minutes or whatever, you got a field trip away from the same three rooms that you see for an end.
B
Yeah. I have a question. In uk, do they tape y' all in, like, America?
A
Yes, they do. And I love it.
B
So. But again, this is what they did for us. I don't know if I can't speak to later seasons, but that's what happened for ours. Because, y', all, it would be impossible in the limited. In the limited time you have on set for you to fully paint, let it dry and like, it would physically be impossible. So you do the majority of it and they come and finish it for you. So that's how overnight it becomes. Cause this happens the next day you do the thing and we see that plane. Jane apparently does not have very hard working hands. Let me tell you something. I have some big old. Y' all see these calluses? My hands are rough as shit. I've been working very hard my entire life. Okay. Do you have nice hands?
A
I've got big hands, but small wrists, which apparently is good for something. But. Yeah, that's what I've been told. I've never tried it myself, but maybe one day. Are we allowed to say fistic? Is that.
B
Yes, absolutely.
A
I'm sorry, I'm a w. Victorian British child.
B
Bob has weirdly soft hands. Bob's hands are very soft. I'm like. So that lets you know who does all the heavy lifting here on Sibling Rivalry. Who's the one making this motherfucking ship turn? Honey, this is me.
A
Believe it. I believe. I believe that Bob has soft hands. I see that.
B
Very soft.
A
Seems like a soft, soft baby hands kind of person.
B
Jacob, would you like to corroborate this or do you. Do you agree or disagree? There you have it.
A
I think Bob, he. He. He moisturizes really well. So I think he's always like. Like his hands are soft because he uses a lot of lotion in general, and that's why he has really good skin. I don't think that's how lotion works. I don't think you could undo like years of hard labor with.
B
Thank you. Thank you, Tia. Coffee. So I will say, so we see Sapphira and PJ decorating your room. And I know that this might be my aversion to old looking shit, but I'm not a fan of a 20s aesthetic. And I'm like, this looks very old and. And. And boring, but it is charming. And I get it will make sense of their narrative, what they're trying to do, but I don't like this red 1920s. Yeah. Shay thing. That's not my. My team.
A
I mean, I didn't hate it because it automatically gives them a point of view. So I felt like it wasn't the most pleasing to look at. But I think it was a smart move because it gives them a perspective, it gives them characters, and it gives them, like, to play with straight away. So I thought it was kind of smart, even though it was not the prettiest thing in the world.
B
Yeah. Same thing with Q and Morphine's group. Right. Like, having this flame wall. It gives them a point of view, something to talk about. And we'll see later. With Nymphia and what's her name and Dawn's. They were going for this art museum thing, and it just felt super clean and superstitious. It didn't seem as visually exciting as the other two did.
A
Yeah. I was like, why did you even paint the walls? Like, just left them white. That's the same, right?
B
Yeah. So Morphine wants a. Morphine wants to win. She wants a win really bad. And I'm like, no shade, but do you really think you're going to get one now? Like, I just. In the history of Drag Race, I don't know anyone who's going to the finale that doesn't have a win at this point that will get one now.
A
Yeah. It was a weird sort of perspective because, what, there's six of them, right? Two more eliminations. I think Morphine's done pretty well because if I'm totally honest, like, no shade to Morphine. I thought she was out several, many weeks ago, so I feel like she's, like, really fought for her place. And it's switched my opinion completely because I thought she was, like, out. And now I'm like, no, I kind of want you to do the thing.
B
Yeah. Morphine is very charming and her personality is like, I want her around. Cause I love seeing her confessionals. I love hearing her thoughts on things happening. I really enjoy having Morphine here, but, like, baby, just go along for the ride. Cause you're not gonna win. Like, you're not going to the finale. Like you're not going to win. But honestly. But good on you for thinking that you can and wanting to win. That's nice. But as a viewer, I'm like, You're not gonna win, babe.
A
Imagine if she wins, though, after these. You said strong words. Imagine if she wins.
B
Now, if Morphine Dion Love wins a challenge, wins the challenge. Next week, I will get a Prince Albert.
A
Prince. I do like a Prince Albert. I'm not going to lie.
B
I've always wanted to suck a dick with a Prince Albert. I never have, but I always wanted to.
A
I have.
B
Ooh, tell me more.
A
I con.
B
Is there a drag risk girl with the Prince Albert?
A
So Morphine, I think
B
my biggest fear, especially if it's like one of the double zero ones, because I've seen the big double zero ones and I'm sucking it and it, like, it dings my tooth and it fucks up one of my teeth. That would be my only fear about sucking. Or I'm deep throating it and it gets hooked on my uvula and it like, it. Fucking Mortal Kombat finished it. And, like, I pull the dick out and, like, my entire esophagus comes out with the dick. Those are my two fears about sucking it.
A
They're both. I've got. So for me, it was weird because, like, it hits on your teeth and it sounds really loud in your head. Like, it sort of clanks. But I have a friend who I won't name. His name is Dale, who once got a Prince Albert literally caught at the back of his throat. And that is a hellish.
B
It got caught on what?
A
I don't know. He doesn't know. It just got, like, lodged in his throat and they had to, like, yank it out with, like, force, like, rip his.
B
Oh, my. I would fucking die.
A
Yeah, it's a lot, isn't it? Woo.
B
Okay, so the girls are at the mirror, they're doing their makeup, and Sapphira is pressing Q about her comments about her win. She's like, baby, what's good? Like, talk to me about this I didn't deserve situation.
A
Yeah, I mean, fair enough. Because she left it. She tried to make peace with it, but I feel like Q was still giving an energy and it needed to be addressed. Was that the moment just before the Runway to do it? Yeah, actually, no, fuck it. Yeah, absolutely. Get your feelings out like, before. You've got to deal with the judges.
B
And I will say it. Do take mother fucking balls. Because Q was like, yeah, you undeserved, maybe. I mean, I'm sorry, I could have said that differently, but it's still undeserved. And I was like, honestly, she better work. She better work.
A
She stood by her word. And people don't she said lie it. Like, usually people are like, I didn't say it like that. I didn't mean it like that. I was in my feelings. Q stood by her word. And you kind of have to. You have to respect that. No one does that on Drag Race.
B
They just backtrack. Yeah. Sometimes people. People often fold. She's like, no, it's undeserved. I mean, I'm sorry that I said it that way, and I feel bad that you feel bad, but it was undeserved.
A
Yeah, No, I respect her, but also, I still think she overreacted in the first place.
B
100%. 100%. And we also see this very rare sighting of a vulnerable and emotional Plane Jane. She's having this, like, to what we were talking about earlier. Like, y', all, at this point in the competition, you've been here for four weeks. You have not talked to anyone. You have not talked to any family, your best friend. You don't have a lot of your creature comforts. You can't, like, pop on the Last Airbender or Griselda, whatever fucking show you want to watch to kind of decompress. At the end of the day, like, you're, like, so fucked up at this point. Like, the competition. This is where the competition starts to get to you, like, in the mental. And then she's like. She's really struggling. But Sapphira does this. Here comes Mother Sapphira, soon. Soon to replace Mother Teresa as our patron saint. She makes PJ do this exercise that she writes down the things that she's feeling insecure and vulnerable about. Then she has to rip it up and throw it over her shoulder. I'm like, what in the. Ayanla Van Zant girl? This is some Oprah shit.
A
It was like. I felt very spiritual. I was like, is Sapphira like, a priest? Is this, like, a religious experience? What is going on? But she does that, like. It's this motherly quality that she has that she, like, brings out. That was kind of like. It was like. It was just genuinely really nice to see someone supporting someone, and also nice to see Plane Jane cry, to be honest, I'm like, she's.
B
Yeah, I agree. I agree. It's nice to see the softer side of Plane Jane and to see her just being vulnerable and seeing her allowing her. Allowing us to see that in her, because she came out this motherfucking scene this season.
A
Yeah.
B
Bat her up, like, swinging real hard. So to see her, like, be an actual fucking person that struggles with shit, it's Nice. It's nice.
A
I feel like. Do you know what? I'm gonna put it out there. Was it all 100%. Was it real? Because she does not need her story producer because she is producing everything on her own. So I wonder, like, did she plan for this to be her vulnerable moment just two episodes before the final? Or was it real
B
tea or coffee? Coming in with a big ass ladle?
A
Yeah, I'm still at the pot. Like, playing Jane has been. I will do it.
B
Wait, let me get my charger. My computer's dying
A
while Monet's away. Hello, everyone.
B
How we doing?
A
Love looks better in color. Having a lovely time, enjoying myself. It's not raining today. Has rained for the past few days, but. Oh, Monet's back.
B
Okay. And I want to take a second to remind you all that the Life Be Life Ing tour by Monet Xchange is on sale now. If you want to come see me do my hit Wonder Woman show, Life Be Life Ing. I'm going on a tour around the US starting April 30, ending May 19. Go to monetexchangelive.com for tickets. I just did a week sold out at the Soho Theater. And I have to say, I've said this before. British audiences are so fun to perform for. They're so irreverent. And, like, I just love British audiences. Do you feel that way about American or British audiences?
A
Oh, I mean, I like a British audience for the comedy because I feel like my comedy style is very dry and, like, I kind of feel like maybe that's what you're feeling as well, because your sort of, like, comedy vibes translates really well. I saw the joke. I saw the joke that you did. The power about the Power Rangers, which I won't spoil, because people should go and see the show to see the joke.
B
Oh, no, that's my old material. I've retired that material.
A
I've seen some of your old material, and it was good. So hopefully the new material's good, too.
B
Thank you, diva.
A
Thank you. Thank you.
B
Thank you.
A
Okay, Ms. Coffey, do you have anything you'd like to plug while we're here? Yeah, I would love to plug. That UK tour is taking place for UK versus the World Series 2 with the cast of UK versus the World Series 2. And if you're one of those people who like to comment about Marina Summers on my Instagram, she's doing a solo tour. So just go and see that. The Voss one with all of us, because that's better. It's not better. It's just different. Why? I've got anxiety now.
B
I have a screaming work tia. Okay, I think we should get into the look. Shall we?
A
Yeah. Okay.
B
Let's get into the lurks of this episode.
A
Groove. Oh, mine's really small. How do. I'm gonna make it bigger. I made it bigger. Okay, got it.
B
RuPaul, this is. I love the dress. I think the hair is a little matchy matchy for me, but I love the look. I wish her hair was a different color, But I think RuPaul looks great. If we just swapped the hair for
A
me, in my opinion, I feel that. I love it. Whenever RuPaul's just like a ginger, like, orangey moment. Generally, it is great. I feel like it is a lot with the shades of red.
B
It's very Tina Burner.
A
Tina Burner on fire. Like the Hunger Games. Too hot to handle. Get burnt by these flames. It's very that. Very that.
B
Michelle. Michelle with his little. These hip cutouts. Girl, look at Michelle massage.
A
She's giving body. I love it.
B
She is.
A
I like it. She's done. She's quite sort of, like, clean and simple this week, which is rare because she's been like, turning a lot of, like, cunty slay boots moments.
B
Yeah, I agree. Michelle looks really good. I love this. I want to dress like this. Oh, it's a pant situation. Work. Yeah. I think that was hot.
A
Yeah.
B
I wasn't from. I didn't watch the show they talked about, so I didn't know who this woman was.
A
I was gonna ask you about that, so.
B
Girl, I have no idea.
A
I liked.
B
But Carson always looks good. I love Carson so much.
A
The fashion icon. Little applique blazer moment. I. I've got. If you're wearing a sock with this shoe.
B
No, I don't think Carson. I don't think Carson owns socks.
A
I really. I've got, like, a vendetta against no socks in a shoe.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. It just. It, like, makes me feel some type of way. I don't know why. I'm like, if it's hot, your foot will be slipping in that shoe. It's all I can think about. It's too much.
B
Okay, let's go on to the first look, which was Morphine Dion. Oh. The category was chains. Was it chains and whips?
A
No, to add chain reaction. Chain reaction.
B
Chain reaction. Up first. Morphine loved Dion. I thought this was a good look. I love that she painted her. I didn't realize she painted her body gold until they set it in untucked though.
A
Yeah. I thought she was just like glistening, like bronzed rather than like painted gold. I do like she ate. The look is great. The panty. I can't that.
B
The panty. I was like, why didn't she put the same, like, put the studs on the panty too? I agree. It was weird that the panty was just out like that.
A
Just like, because of the shades as well. It kind of was giving like granny panty energy as well, which I didn't love for the bodygirl, but, you know, I'm not exactly a fashion icon, so who am I to judge?
B
And I know we love a glitter lip, but it was a stone lip and it just give. I'm having a really bad outbreak and I didn't take my Valentrix.
A
I. It's the same feeling that I have about no socks in a shoe. I'm imagining what that feels like and it's hideous to me.
B
Yeah. She was talking and these like. And also they wasn't. They weren't like SS For y' all to know, SS is like the size of the stone. They go from like SS1 to up to whatever, 40 something. And you know, these were like SS30 stones. So like this big. So just like it was. If you're going to do that, do a smaller stone, at least for sure.
A
And then she lip synced with that on how.
B
No, did she do rubber cement? How did they stay on? Yeah. I don't understand how these fucking stones stayed on the entire time with the lip sync. I don't know. I believe she stapled them to her lips, but I'm not a thousand percent sure.
A
It's getting a bit Dracula. She stapled them onto her lips.
B
Very that, very that. Okay. Next was. What the fuck is this hair?
A
I've got. I've got many issues with the hair.
B
Like, what is it, you know, you
A
know, like on like TikTok or Twitter X whatever, where you see those things that are like, what feels racist but isn't racist? This hair. This hair feels. You know what if feels. But it isn't. But it feels.
B
It's not. I just don't understand what I'm even looking at. So she has this style thing on the top and then the sides are like earmuffs.
A
It's not Afro texture, but I don't know what. It's a little bit like a. What are they called? Like a golden retriever, like cocker spaniel moment.
B
Yeah, I didn't. And then Michelle was like. Only when she puts her hands up I was like, I, I, I, I didn't enjoy this look. And I know these, these are those cheap plastic chains you get from, like, Party City. So they make, like so much noise. They're like, they sound like fucking St. Ol St. Nick jingle janging somewhere. I did. I, I, I, I, I was not a fan of this look. I don't think this is a great look. And I just. Hair. I'm just so confused by it. And I didn't like that.
A
No. For someone who kind of eats every Runway, I was a bit like, I, this is stuff that I have in my wardrobe for out of drag, but with chains on it.
B
Yeah. This was not. This is not the tea.
A
Yeah.
B
Up next, Dawn. Up until Dawn. I don't know how I feel about this look, actually.
A
It's giving what feels racist but isn't racist. Again, I don't like it. I don't. I feel like I'm gonna get viciously attacked for my opinions, but I stand by them. I don't like it.
B
Well, in theory, this is a cool look, but I just think the part in her face is strange to me. And I, yeah, I don't know. I don't, I didn't love this look. I don't hate it, though. It's very mid from right in the middle.
A
I don't love it. It feels like she didn't mean for this hair to be worn with this. I feel like she might have worn, like, the hair that was meant for this with something else because something about it doesn't feel like it all makes sense.
B
Yeah. Yeah. And I've been so. I've been. I've loved so much of what dawn has worn. Like, Naomi hated her on her last week. I thought it was actually I liked it. But this one is not, is not. It's not hitting for me, Mama.
A
Yeah, no, I, I, I.
B
Her makeup looks good, though. Her makeup looks. Well, her makeup always looks pretty. Really dope. Like I kind of pulled a little pull, like a, pull the cords on the side of her head so I make the change in her front of her eyes go up like a blind or something so I can see her face.
A
It's. It is giving blind. It's giving blind at your grandma's house. That's what it is.
B
I can't see. I'm blind. Blind, blind. Okay, let's go on to Marina's. I mean, Let's go on to Nymphia. Winds. Wind. I think this is a great look, and I'm pretty sure she made this as well. I Think from online. Nymphia pretty much always looks fucking incredible on the Runway, and I think this is another good look. I love that she came out with the whip. I'm not getting much. I guess the chains were okay. She does have chains on it. You said a chain.
A
That's a chain.
B
Yeah, she has a chain. I wish it had a little more chains in the chain reaction because she's so creative. I'd like to see it like what Nymphia would have when she went, like, full all the way with chain reaction.
A
Yeah.
B
But I think this is a good look. I like this look.
A
Right. I need to ask about the hair, because I am convinced that this is a synthetic ponytail. So I need to know how it is not tangled to fuck because it's so long. I would never. I would never be able to transport this without it becoming one big knot on the back of my head. That is talent.
B
Well, you know. Yeah. Yeah. I didn't pay attention, but I think. I think you're right. I think it is synthetic for sure.
A
I'm just.
B
Yeah. I don't know.
A
No, I'm not in it. I can't. I would never. I could never.
B
This piece of hair going down by her under her contour, though, is interesting. I mean, it looks cool, but it's very interesting. Up next, Plane Jane. You know, I saw a critique of her. People were like, plane Jane's looks are always the same on Drag Race. And I get this is reminiscent of something she's worn before, but. And again, like I said, I know she has the chains dangling, whatever, but I feel like Plane Jane. I would have expected a little more chain reaction. Like, what was like. What was like a cool chain look? Plane Jane would have done? This just looks like an Abraham Levy outfit that she put some chains on the elbows, and she was like, look, chains.
A
Yeah, definitely that. I mean, maybe I'm kind of, like, interested to know if Chain Reaction was the original prompt when they got their cast, because there's actually not a lot of change now that you pointed out. So maybe it was something a bit different, and people have interpreted it differently.
B
Could Drag Race do they be. When they. When they cast you and you get your letter with all the looks, they'll be like, this category is brick. Stonewall. Stonewall, Brick wall. And you're like, okay, got it. And then you get there, it's like house design. You're like, wait, what? Like, how they be changing the prompt stuff, and you'll be a little left out in the dust.
A
Yeah, sometimes. Which.
B
Sometimes no.
A
You know, no one watching it knows that, so they'll still criticize it, but.
B
Exactly.
A
Can you tell that I'm better about the fans at the moment? No. Is it coming for season 10? I think you were all told to, like, the Runway thing was signature drag. Yes, it was one of the first ones, and then they changed it to, like, best drag.
B
Yeah, it was the second episode when I wore that catsuit, and back then, like, I was, like, known for having, like, a fully stone catsuit. So they were like, your signature look. It was. It was signature look or something like that. So episode two, I wore my signature look, and then the category when the episode aired was best drag. I'm like, well, that's not my best drag girl is what I'm known for anyway. Yeah. But we digress. Did you have one like that on. On. On. On your season?
A
Anything that was, like, switched up or anything that was, like.
B
Yeah, switched up. That the prompt was different.
A
Oh, not this time around. Versus the world, Everything's been pretty much bang on. I feel like season two, we definitely had one that ended up having, like, different names. I'll. I'll think I'll come back to it. I'll.
B
You pontificate.
A
I pontificate, Yes, I will. I've learned a new word. This is a rich cultural exchange.
B
Everything. Every experience with me is an exchange, darling.
A
Oh, branding.
B
I'm doing that. I'm doing my. My dawn shit. Let's go on. Last to Sapphire Crystal, who did this, like, kind of doggy fetish thing with this chain embellishment.
A
I like this. Yeah, I kind of love that.
B
I think it's so different. Sapphira has given us such a wide variety of different looks, from, like, the flower thing to this to the 80s thing she has really done. Her Runway looks have been very eclectic. Nothing has looked the same.
A
Yeah, and she can pull it off as well. Like, some people try and, like, mix it up and it falls flat. Cause it's like, you're not that girl. Like, why are you doing this thing? You're not. But she can, like, really mix it up, which is quite a talent, actually.
B
Yeah, I agree. I agree. She really has. Okay, let's talk about the rooms. Let's just go through each one. Each room, and then we'll talk about the winner and yada, yada, yada. So what are your thoughts about Q and Morphine?
A
The idea was good. The execution, wasn't it? I feel like Morphine was, like, a little bit uncertain. I didn't really know where it was going. And Michelle's point about the whole, like, ballygirl thing, I've never thought about.
B
Yeah, me either.
A
Like, everyone goes to that, like, automatically.
B
Yeah, Q was doing pretty much all the talking. Morphine looked like her supporting act. I think they had some really interesting ideas. Like, you know, the thing, like, having, like, the Michelle Visage picture in there with, like, the horns on it and, like, Maya broke that window. Like, some really cute things they could do. But Morphine is just literally the supporting actor. She even. She goes. She goes to deliver some line, and she literally forgets the line as she's saying it and just looks at Q and then Q kind of picks up for her. So I think Morphine felt really out of her depth. And when they had the tickling thing with the pit crew, bitch, he was bricked up. Like, I'm like, did he put a fucking. A fucking banana like he had. I was like, is this nigga's dick hard? Like, how are they showing this hard penis on camera? It was kind of crazy.
A
It was definitely noticeable because I'm pretty sure I watched this episode with my boyfriend, Shout Out. And when they came out for the first challenge with the faces, we were like, okay, what order would you. And, like, that guy was my last place. And then suddenly he comes out bulging to high heaven. And I was like, I take it back. First place right now.
B
Yeah. I was like, he just had just, like, a hard dick. I was like, he would work. And I think that's. I'm pretty sure that's Todrick, Todrick Hall's ex boyfriend.
A
Oh, well, I'm pretty sure. Yeah, I'm sure he's got some stories.
B
Let's go on next to Q. And I'm sorry to dawn and Nymphia. Oh, last thing I want to say. I think that the naughty potty thing was an idea with the horn thing on their thing. But anyway, let's go on to Nymphia and Dawn doing the fart museum. Off the bat, everything should have been about it. Should have been. They should have had farting puns and jokes for the entire thing. If that's going to be the crux of the. Think about your room, because it is, like, it should have been a through line throughout the entire thing. I think that could have been something that they could have given themselves benchmarks and. Or kind of divide jokes up so that every. So someone always has something to say and it stayed in theme.
A
Yeah, for sure. And it was the only, like, pun, like, name of the thing that kind of made Sense, in the whole context of it being like a bathroom, I feel like they really could have eaten with this. I think, overall, it's probably the best concept. And it's the one that is easiest to, like, make jokes, get the puns in, do the gags, but they kind of drop the ball a bit.
B
I didn't get Nymphia's boobs. Am I missing. Am I missing the joke?
A
I didn't get them. And so I liked it for that reason. I was like, this has no reason to be happening. And so I like it just there visually, for no reason, for just the almost, like, Monty Python comedy of it all.
B
And then their looks had nothing to do with their thing. Like, with the other two groups. Their looks had to do with their thing. What? Why are they dressed like that? Like, why? Bitch. Karsten and Michelle look more. Make more sense thematically than they do.
A
Yeah. And it's a pretty, like, easy look to do. Like, even if you didn't bring drag with you, that sort of fits it. Like, you'll have something black or you'll have something that will look artsy.
B
Exactly.
A
Maybe just some fun glasses or something. Like, even the hair doesn't really. Yeah, no, I totally don't get it. I don't get the looks at all.
B
It was fucking weird. And Nymphia, again, is just not letting dawn say anything. Nymphia. Nymphia is just going. She's going to. And she's like, bitch, I'm gonna talk. I'm gonna make this work.
A
But she had a character. But when Dawn. The, like, two times dawn actually said something, I was like, you. You don't know what's. You don't know what's going on, what's happening.
B
Yeah. Yeah. And last but not least was the Booty Lickers Speakeasy, where Sapphira and PJ are doing this, like, 1920s, like, speakeasy, where it's, like, about. It's a prohibition. Did y' all have prohibition in the UK or is that. Excuse my ignorance, is that an American thing? Or was prohibition.
A
That's a great question. I don't think we.
B
Maybe we did.
A
I don't know if we did. I don't. I didn't learn about that at school. We definitely had, like, during the war. Does that count?
B
You had a what in the war?
A
Like, rationing? People couldn't have cheese from Wikipedia. Although the sale or consumption of commercial alcohol has never been prohibited by laws in the United Kingdom, various groups have campaigned for prohibition. That makes sense.
B
Well, girl, in the UK Bitch. On the weekends, London is wild. You walk. I walk around in Soho area. Bitch. People are like falling over, having full bottles of wine just in the street from like 3pm when people, four people get off of work, There are lines outside all the pubs. People are like getting wild. I'm like, this is crazy.
A
Yeah, it's pretty bad. Like, I am not a big drinker for the uk, but like, if I talk to, like my American friends about my weekend, they're like, what? Like, you drank that much? Like, that's so much. It's wild. You have like, what, like, if you go on a night out, do you like drink beforehand or do you wait until you're out?
B
Sometimes you pre. Depending on the friends and the vibe. Sometimes you pregame a little bit. You have like maybe a drink, maybe maybe two before you go out. But I'm not a big drinker like that. Like, I'll have like going out. If I'm out for the night with friends, I'll have one, maybe two drinks. That's about it.
A
That is wild to me. Never be me. I did a viewing party like three weeks ago and by the time the episode ended, I'd had seven double gin and tonics and I felt fine. And then I carried on the rest of the night for several many more hours with several many more. And I'm not a big drinker.
B
That being said, please, we are trying to get prohibition started in the UK, so let's sign my petition@monetexchangelive.com and we're going to get some prohibition in the UK.
A
We need it.
B
But back to Sapphira and PJ. This group is great. It's very funny. The characters are very well played. They're improving together. You can tell they have bits they've obviously planned, but you can tell they're also improving as well. It's just really good. And pj, constantly calling Sapphira a different name, I think is also very funny plays. It's brilliant.
A
Yeah. I think I will say that I think Plane Jane was like this challenge good, like drag race, like top tier. But the way Sapphira was playing it, I was like, she could be in a show, like, she could act this part. I felt like she just had a next level skill in playing that part. That ate a tiny bit harder for me.
B
Yeah. And like pulling the licker bottles off from everywhere. Even the way that they were interacting with Carson and Michelle, like they were just improv with Carson, Michelle and had. It was just very, very, very well done. And they they were light years better than the other two groups. Like, not even. No competition, no contest. Not even close.
A
Yeah. You can tell from how Michelle and Carson, like, they felt secure to, like, play back and forth with them a bit in this. This one as well.
B
Yeah. Yeah. So it comes at no shock to anyone. Zafira and Plane Janewyn this challenge, giving Sapphira four when she's won three weeks in a row. I mean, she won. So if you have a total of four wins, winning three of them in the last three weeks, which is crazy. And Planejean has three wins.
A
I mean, they're kind of eating everyone else up, girl. Yeah.
B
Devour.
A
It's a little. It's a little bit much. I'd be on edge. Didn't Plasma have two wins, though? Sorry to bring up Plasma again, but I feel like she had to win. Listen, she did. Plasma is. Plasma is the only queen with two wins who went home, like, in the first half of the season in Drag Race history.
B
What? Oh, she went in on that design one. When she did, it was the. The goth thing that sends her home. Right.
A
Yeah. Where she made one of the worst outfits.
B
It was rotted.
A
Yeah, it was rotted. But she still has more wins than dawn and Morphine, so.
B
And she has more wins than me and my original season girls, so good for her.
A
I. Babe. Yep.
B
So, yeah, PJ and Sapphira win, and the bottom two queens are Morphine and Dawn. And what sent me was Morphine laughing at Ru's fucking lines to her. Her verda lines. I was like. It was unhinged. Well, so she was like, bitch, I've been. This is my third time at the bottom or fourth time in the bottom, too.
A
Yeah.
B
So she was like, rue is delivering his lines like Morphine. I should have wrote it down. I didn't write it down. But she was, like, snickering. I was like, that is hilarious. She's, like, laughing at RuPaul's lines.
A
I mean, I think it was a good one that time. Like, particularly, particularly good. But they are always kind of funny. Like, it's hard to sort of, like. It's hard.
B
Be serious.
A
Yeah. When it's like, good, good puns, good banter from Rue.
B
Yeah, you really. And the lip sync is body Megan, Thee stallion to Morphine Love. Dion and Dawn. Girl. Yeah, girl. I mean, everyone is the memes of online, the means morphine. The video is like the post is when Morphine won this lip sync. It's literally as soon as the song starts, like, the first. The first fucking downbeat and it's like, yeah, like. And Q nails it. She was like, dawn is going. She's doing the song body against a girl with a bbl. Like, what? Like, morphine ate her up. She ate her up. She ate her the fuck up. Look at how she bodied. That ate it up and gave it back. Like, she fucked her up.
A
She really did. And I will hold my hands up. I will not claim to be a good lip syncher. I have also watched back the footage before anyone decides to comment on it. But I am also grateful to dawn for also being a terrible lip syncher because that was. I was like. It was hard because it's like morphine was so good. And I just felt so bad that dawn was even there. I just wanted to take her away, actually.
B
Trying to lip sync in this fucking, like, gown. It's like she's, like, kind of tripping over herself. She's trying to do stuff and then, like, the fucking chains are in her face, the gown is tripping up in the ankles. It was just. She didn't. She was not set up to win this. I was like, bitch. When she went back there, what dawn should have fucking did was in untucked. She should have got a pair of scissors and put them in her thing so that when the lip sync started, bitch, cut that fucking dress off so you can dance and do whatever you have to do. But she was constricted by the dress half the time.
A
The Scarlet.
B
Yeah, she. Bitch, just be dramatic. Bitch, cut that fucking thing off in the band right there so she can rip that off. Then you cut the dress at the knees so you can have your legs free and give us something because you know you're not going to beat morphine, like, in terms of dancing at this. But give us drama or you go the bendelacreme route with her and Shangela doing. I forget what song it was.
A
Anaconda.
B
Anaconda. Yeah, Anaconda. But I don't know if dawn is a comedic performer, so I don't know if that's even in her wheelhouse either. I guess we don't know because we've never seen the lip sync. We don't know what type of lip syncer or performer dawn is. Like, is she comedy? Is she a dance? Can she split? I don't know what she can do. But we didn't see any of that in that lip sync.
A
No, it was. I saw someone comment that she was trying to give Utica energy, which I kind of see, but I just. Of all the people left who could have beaten Morphine at this song.
B
Sapphira. Sapphira is an amazing lip synchronizer.
A
Sapphira. And I feel like Plane might have been able to give comedy for this song, but I don't think anyone else could have taken Morphine out.
B
You know, I don't plan. Jane doesn't, even though. Because she had to lip sync week one when she won. Right. And I don't remember her being a particularly strong lip syncer. I think our only strong lip synchros are. Are Sapphira and Morphine, because I don't think Q cannot lose. Sink.
A
No, no, no.
B
Who else is there?
A
Nymphia.
B
Nymphia. Nymphia is not a strong lip sync girl. Seeing the videos, and I like Nymphia a lot. I've seen the videos online. Yeah. So I think the only person that could take morphine and lip sync is Sapphira, so. Which begs the question, how is she going to get eliminated? Or maybe how is Morphine? Oh, my God. What's going to happen, girl? I don't know.
A
Wait, have we just. Are we cracking the code? Either Sapphira needs to be in the bottom, or Morphine might actually make it to the final.
B
Make it to the finale.
A
No, wait, No. I, like, honestly, no shade to Morphine. I came seventh in my original season. I was in the bottom three times. I get it. But also, how is this gonna happen?
B
How we about to find out, girl. We're gonna see. We are going to see. But Morphine, even when she, like, she was doing the exact Megan Courier, she's
A
like, yeah, have you seen the video? I was like, wow, someone did a video side by side of.
B
It's so good.
A
So good.
B
So fucking good. Morphine fucking ate that shit. It was so rewarding. As someone who was a Morphine fan to watch, it was delicious. So Morphine destroys Dawn in lip sync, and dawn goes home. And I have really enjoyed dawn on the season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Dawn seems like one of the girls at the gig that you want to kiki with. She seems very dope, and so she should be proud of herself this season. Yes, she did not have any wins, but she had a great showing on Drag Race, I think.
A
I mean, it's. It's completely ruined my top four prediction, but because I thought dawn was.
B
I thought you're gonna be top four, too.
A
Yeah, but yeah, I've still like, of from the start, I had like a top four prediction and two of them are still there. But yeah, Dawn. Dawn went and I can't believe it. I thought she'd be there in the top four with plasma, who I haven't mentioned, I think deserved to have made it. I haven't brought that up once, but I thought I would now just.
B
I'm fucking screaming. All right, so, Tia, Coffee. Who do you think. Who do you think is winning season 16 of RuPaul's Drag Race?
A
Oh, apart from plasma, I think the winner of season 16, I've got to say, it's Sapphira for me right now. Like, she is kind of eating, but if our maths is right and no one apart from Sapphira, could take morphine out. If morphine somehow, and this is again, no shade. I love morphine. But if morphine somehow gets to the final winning, nothing being bad at a lot of things, objectively, I would be like, give it to her. Give her the crown. Because she thought for all the way there, I would have it tooth and nail.
B
She clawed her way to the finale. Girl, honestly. And I think there is some merit in that. I think someone who can scrap their way to the end, I think there's some merit there. And to justify a win, definitely.
A
I don't think they've never had a winner who's placed in the bottom multiple times, have they?
B
No, I think the only person who had a lot of bottom placements, but she also did really well. Such a dichotomy. I don't understand how to all work down her season, but I think. Jacob, can you fact check this? I think Simone was in the bottom like two. Two times. Two or three times.
A
Maybe she lip synced once when she was in the top and then she was in the bottom. I think she was only in the bottom once, but she lip sync only once.
B
Okay. Oh, that's what it is. I know. She lip synced twice. Okay. Maybe that's what I'm thinking.
A
Maybe she was in the bottom twice
B
or low placements. Yeah, I remember. It was so long ago.
A
Girl. It says she was in the bottom twice.
B
Okay. In the bottom twice. Yeah.
A
But no, I don't think anyone else has been in the bottom more than once.
B
Yeah, I don't think. So am I. For my. The season, I won on. On all. Twice. Four. I was in the bottom once for the. For the Jersey justice challenge.
A
Yes. Which. Yeah, the. That challenge. But then also you had the best verse and the best performance in the final. Priyanka. Priyanka also is in the bottom twice. Oh, okay. Canadian winner.
B
Canadian. Canadian bottom placement, which is a commonwealth of the UK Would you like to say something to Priyanka?
A
Hi, Priyanka. As the winner of a Commonwealth country, I would just like to extend my deepest gratitude for ensuring that one of our Commonwealth nations is still served by a queen with integrity, dignity.
B
A queen? You mean a dead queen.
A
Oh, no, I mean Priyanka's the queen. Oh, God, she's now the queen. Well, I guess she is a dead queen because they've had two winners since, so.
B
Oh, my God, they've had that. Oh, yeah. Isis Couture. And the other young lady, which I don't know her name.
A
Giselle Lullaby.
B
Giselle Lullaby.
A
I am such a Drag Race fan, honestly.
B
You do. You do well also, but I've done a lot of psychedelics, so I feel like I fucked myself on my own.
A
That is a valid reason. I accept.
B
Ladies and gentlemen, can you all believe that we had Tia coffee? And for our second time, even though she didn't remember, I was testing her earlier and she conveniently forgot.
A
Weird. Because I was testing you. That is so weird that we were.
B
Oh, that's what it was.
A
It was. That is what it was. Thank you for having me.
B
Thank you for doing it, girl. Thank you for being here. The fans love when you are here. You're very funny and it's always a pleasure to have you and, you know, good luck.
A
Wait, what? What does this. What is this? When. When does this up?
B
This will come out tomorrow.
A
Oh, my God. That means when it's out. That's only two more days. Yeah, so it's going to be out on our Patreon and the podcast episodes out, and then it's going to be out on YouTube on Friday.
B
On Friday.
A
Okay, well, whenever you're listening or watching this, something will have happened or something will not have happened. Do you want to film two different versions and then we can splice in it for the Friday episode? Oh, can you just keep both versions no matter what happens? I'll do that. Hello, it's me, Tia. As your reigning queen of the mother tucking world, I would just like to extend my hand in gratitude to all of you for your undying support of Marina Summers throughout version two. I didn't win. Sorry.
B
Oh, thank you so much, Tia. We love you so much. And we'll talk to you next time, Diva.
A
No. Thank you for having me. I'm so ready to be Bob's British understudy at all times.
B
