This podcast is brought to you by Aura. By the time you hear about a data breach, your information has already been exposed for months. On average, companies take 277 days to report a breach. That's nine months where hackers have access to your personal data, your name, address, phone number, even your Social Security number before you even know it's out there. Think about it. Nine months is enough time for criminals to open accounts in your name, rack up debt and disappear, all while you're left dealing with the mess. And when the company finally tells you it's too late, the damage is already done. Data breaches aren't slowing down, they're getting bigger, and the delays in reporting them aren't helping. Right now. Your personal information could already be on the Dark web and you wouldn't even know it. How long do you want to wait before taking action? That's why we're thrilled to partner with Aura. Bob the Drag Queen
Hello everyone. Welcome back to Sleeping Watchery. It is me, Bob the Drag Queen. And today I have a special guest with me to review. Season 17 Episode 12 the Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve and Talent Monologues we are joined by Ms. Selena Estiddies.
Selena Estiddies
Esteris. Estiddies.
Bob the Drag Queen
Wait, Selena, where you from again?
Selena Estiddies
I'm from California. I grew up in the Bay Area, but I've lived in Fresno. No, no, I grew up in like San Francisco, but I went to high school in Stockton.
Bob the Drag Queen
Huh. Where's Stockton? Is that in the LA area? In Los Angeles County?
Selena Estiddies
It's north Central Valley, so it's like closer to Sacramento. It was like, like second most ghetto city to live in in America.
Bob the Drag Queen
What was number one?
Selena Estiddies
The Detroit, I think.
Bob the Drag Queen
Also, who did this ranking? This sounds like a racist ranking.
Selena Estiddies
It was from 2006 when I lived there.
Bob the Drag Queen
So that is feed articles. That is California girl. That's where you're from.
Selena Estiddies
The.
Bob the Drag Queen
We're showing her a map of California. She goes, what is this? This is literally where you're from, where you've lived your entire life.
Selena Estiddies
I'm gagged at the technology.
Bob the Drag Queen
You gagged at Google Maps that you.
Selena Estiddies
Can pull it up here. I've never been on. On. What is this Riverside?
Bob the Drag Queen
So. So Selena is gagged at screen sharing. I guess you haven't been on a.
Selena Estiddies
It's been a while.
Bob the Drag Queen
Before we get started, I want to tell everyone to go out and buy my book. It is called Harriet Tubman Live in Concert. You can get it@readthedragqueen.com let's become a New York Times bestseller. Help me out with this. It's my dream. It's one of my dreams. It's not like, oh, my God, where'd.
Selena Estiddies
You get that book from the Queerty Awards? It was in my gift bag, you.
Bob the Drag Queen
Know, so we gave them all the swag bags and I didn't get a lot of post bags. I was kind of hurt. But I'm glad that you actually have it and. And give it a. Give it a read. Honestly, it's a Great book.
Selena Estiddies
I'm going to. I'm going to post about it tomorrow because it comes out. All right, well, I mean, when this comes out.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah. Tuesday, March 25th. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. But we're here to talk about RuPaul's Drag Race. So I feel like right now Lana is actually being very self aware. When she's like, she's clear. It's clear to her that she's not doing great in the competition. You know what I mean?
Selena Estiddies
Oh, my God. In Untucked, she said she's like, if I'm in the bottom tonight, I'm going home. Like, that's what's going to happen. And it's like, when it's your time on Drag Race, when you're there, you can kind of tell. And I knew, like, for me, we both went home sixth place. Me, her, and Monet went home sixth her first season. It's not a bad spot ranking, I think, to go home at. At all.
Bob the Drag Queen
No, no. But you make it past halfway, you're doing pretty good for yourself.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah. Yeah, right?
Bob the Drag Queen
I think so.
Selena Estiddies
How many girls were on your season?
Bob the Drag Queen
I mean, when I was on we. When I was on the Traders, I did not make it past halfway, so.
Selena Estiddies
But you're doing pretty good for yourself. I mean, you got a book.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah, I'm. Outside of Traders. Yes. I am doing pretty well. Wait, outside of. I had 12 girls in my season. I think I want to say 12. We had a very, very short. We had a nine or 10 episodes.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah. So short. I remember I rewatched it and I was like, oh, I'm done work.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah. If this, if this were. If. If season 12 or my season, it would have ended two episodes ago.
Selena Estiddies
This. This season's almost over, though. There's only five girls left. But I think they're, like, stretching out the episodes for, like, a couple more weeks.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah. I hope they don't do that. Nobody go home with or we're gonna have a top five. I don't want no top five. I want a top three. I want to go to the finale with the top three. I want to focus on three people individually.
Selena Estiddies
Yes. Because then there's four, and then there's always one girl fighting over third place. Lux and Mistress stay fighting over third place.
Bob the Drag Queen
Literally. Literally. And Anya Nerve is like, she is the front runner now. She has three. Three wins at this point. I mean, as of this point on your Nerve has one of the best track records in Drag Race history. Like, she's legit one of the she has one of the best track records on the show, but we are not quite there yet. But she doesn't want the girl to see her as high and mighty. And for some reason, they don't view her the way they view Susie Toot. They are still all viewing Susie Toot as the girl to beat, which is really odd to me because in my opinion, Jewel Sparkles is in second place.
Selena Estiddies
And Susie, I agree. I love Jules. I think she's killing it and not getting enough flowers. I think on the. In the competition.
Bob the Drag Queen
When you lip sync, how many times did you lip sync before you went home?
Selena Estiddies
Oh, my God. I lip synced against that girl. That girl. That girl. I sent all them home. I went Lipski.
Bob the Drag Queen
You said three girls home.
Selena Estiddies
I sent four girls. Oh. I sent three girls home. And I beat Lux.
Bob the Drag Queen
Oh, my God.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, I think I'm in the rank. I mean, I think I'm in the ranking of sent, like, the top girls. Who sent the most girls home.
Bob the Drag Queen
I'm like, do you remember who you sent home?
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, I sent home Spice. I sent home the white girl that went home first that I sent home. And then my rain. No, no, no. The one after her. Malaysia Spice. Oh, my God. Why am I Robin's girlfriend? Robin's boyfriend. Robin's girlfriend.
Bob the Drag Queen
Robin's girl. Oh, Amethyst.
Selena Estiddies
Amethyst. Oh, my God. I don't know why I forgot Amethyst.
Bob the Drag Queen
I always call her Robin. Robin's ex. Robin's like, we were. We were not dating. But I would say. I would say Robin, your ex. She's like, we were not dating. I said, how's your ex girlfriend doing?
Selena Estiddies
I feel so bad for forgetting Amethyst. Spice. Malaysia. And then I beat Lux in the Lollaparooza. And then Lucy. I got sent home. She didn't beat me, but I got sent home.
Bob the Drag Queen
You ate down. Congratulations. You are a great lip synchron. Anyone who's been to one of your shows knows you're a really fantastic performer.
Selena Estiddies
Thank you. Do you know, like, I really. I. I don't know. I don't know if I told you this. I think maybe I told you once, but I saw you perform in New York at the Monster. You were doing, like, a gospel number and you baptized the twink.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah, I was doing a save from Smokey Joe's Cafe.
Selena Estiddies
And I had never done drag before at that point. Like, I was not a drag queen. I was just trying to be a male dancer in California. And then I had gone to New York for the first time, and that's when I saw you. And I swear in my mind, RuPaul was in the audience watching you at that point. Cause I think this was before you were on Drag Race.
Bob the Drag Queen
No, the night that RuPaul Washington was a different night, because I. Cause that day, I remember I was. I mean, I did the number so many times. I might have been wearing, like, this. This, like, red velvet coat. What was the one I was wearing that day?
Selena Estiddies
You were wearing, like, a green white sundress, like a Pastor White dress or something with, like.
Bob the Drag Queen
With, like, a white crazy wig and glitter. That was the night RuPaul was there. That's great. And it wasn't a Sunday.
Selena Estiddies
It was this. I swear.
Bob the Drag Queen
I knew.
Selena Estiddies
I knew RuPaul was in the room.
Bob the Drag Queen
It was this onesie that I made. Yeah. That's crazy. Yeah. RuPaul was there.
Selena Estiddies
The synergy of that is crazy, because I remember watching her sneak up the stairs and leaving, and she was wearing, like, a blue collar dress with a black leather coat. And I was like, that looks like RuPaul or it's just like a crackhead. It was one or the other.
Bob the Drag Queen
RuPaul or a crackhead. It's crazy. Yeah. Not me. You and RuPaul all hanging out in the same room together.
Selena Estiddies
Isn't that so crazy? Like.
Bob the Drag Queen
Well, it was me, you, RuPaul. I think it was Vicki Melanez that night.
Selena Estiddies
I was there because Lady Cine Gaga was performing and she had just started drag. Do you remember her, Moell?
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah, I remember Lady Sing.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah.
Selena Estiddies
That's why I was there, because she was performing. Yeah. She lives here now. She's a leather queen dominating the leather scene out here, like, hosting fisting parties. I think you didn't hear from me.
Bob the Drag Queen
I don't know.
Selena Estiddies
I think she's just. I think she's just a great host that. I don't know anything with, like, a.
Bob the Drag Queen
Charcuterie, can I tell you, Boys eating.
Selena Estiddies
I was in D.C. and I was at a meet and greet, and these. These two. These two boys were A couple were hot. And I was like, well, so what's going on after the show? Like, are there any, you know, parties or after parties or anything? And, like, they're like, oh, do you play? Do you like. Do you play handball? And I was like, oh, is there, like, a varsity gay league that's having an after party? They're like, no, no, no. Handball. And I said, oh, I never heard it like that before. And I was like. I was like, oh, I don't partake. And they were like, oh, well, you're from la. Do you know Punch party? It's hosted by our king Moshiel. And I was like, oh, my God, I had no idea.
Bob the Drag Queen
Visit anyone. You have giant hands.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, I lose my fist all the time. When I was in P town for the first time last year, the Dick doc. I lost my hand every night and I was like, how are these boys not have like sandcastles inside themselves?
Bob the Drag Queen
Was this because you were just trying to finger and then it just slipped in or.
Selena Estiddies
Yes, every time. And I know this one drag queen tells this joke once about like putting two hands and trying to clap and saying that it's tight or something.
Bob the Drag Queen
Wait, y'all don't realize this has big hands. When she had those big gloves on, they weren't stuffed. Those are the size of her hands. That's the size of this bitch's big man hands.
Selena Estiddies
Yes, I know I do. I can never get like this. They always struggle with my knuckles. But I don't fist on purpose. It's always like a surprise.
Bob the Drag Queen
I'm like, I hate when I accidentally fit someone. Anyway, back to what we're talking about. So Susie Toot is actually doing her. I think Susie is low key, eating the girls up. When they, when she talks about the who should go home. She was like, it should be who should go home, not who do you want to go home? And honestly, Susie is right. They copped out. Their answers were weak, lame, sad, and sorry. Anya and Susie are the only ones who answer properly. Everyone else gave a lame ass pageant answer that's supposed to. It's like, it's like a fake bad bitch answer. You're trying to be a bad bitch, but you're really giving a pageant answer. And honestly, I do not. I don't think it's fierce. It's so lame. It's so lame. I was the girl basically saying. They're basically all saying Susie's better than us.
Selena Estiddies
Which is weird because, like, I don't feel like she's dominating in the competition. Right? Like, I don't know how they see her as such competition rent free.
Bob the Drag Queen
Susie Toot lives rent free in these girls minds. I'm glad that only and Susie too called out this, this, this like cop out answer. But then it was weird when I'm gonna ask a question and it's not me being shade, it's a genuine question. Okay. Was there a point in the competition where you were like, I'm not winning?
Selena Estiddies
Oh, 1,000%. I could tell after my first time lip syncing that I was not being. I was not one of their girls, you know what I mean? And from there, I had to kind of. I felt like I was playing because I'm a big Survivor, Big Brother fan. I like to play the social game of it all. So, like, from there, I was like, how do I maneuver through here and stay as long as I could? And I became the therapist. Like, I was like, come cry on my shoulder. Come cry on my shoulder. Very sponsor sobriety vibes. And then all the girls will cry on my shoulder. Which, you know, you'll love her. She's sober, Sabrina. So I feel like I play the game that way in order to stay a little longer and then get to showcase, like, what I actually was capable of and the challenges from there on, so.
Bob the Drag Queen
And in the lip syncs, quite frankly, which.
Selena Estiddies
Yes. Which I didn't realize while I was there. While I was there, I was like, why am I in the bottom? It doesn't make sense. But I was like, oh, wait, I'm showcasing what I'm good at and then getting booked because of it. So, you know, if I.
Bob the Drag Queen
If I.
Selena Estiddies
If I could tell any advice to any future rug girl or rug girl right now, it's just to, like, lean into whatever happen there. You know what I mean? Like, I wish I would have leaned in a little more while I was there instead of feeling so, like, what's going on? So I got in my own way.
Bob the Drag Queen
I asked you that question to ask this. Does Sam Star think she's winning Drag Race?
Selena Estiddies
I think she. I think she thinks she could win.
Bob the Drag Queen
Do you think she could win?
Selena Estiddies
I think she can be in the top, but I don't know.
Bob the Drag Queen
She could be in the top. Could she win?
Selena Estiddies
I think she could.
Bob the Drag Queen
I don't think she can. I don't think she's.
Selena Estiddies
I don't think she's going to. I don't think she's going to, but I think she.
Bob the Drag Queen
Which is the, like, cut. She said, like, cut. To me, winning, I mean, would say, if there's a world where Susie Toot breaks her ankle, Anya Nerve gets an upper respiratory infection, Jewels Sparkles, cracks a rib. Yes, Sam Star could win. If all that happened, then, yes, I could see a world where Sam star could win RuPaul's Drag Race. Otherwise, girl, you're in fourth place. You're in fourth place.
Selena Estiddies
I think she's a good contender. I don't think she will, but I think she'll be up there. You don't think she'll make it to the end.
Bob the Drag Queen
You don't want. I didn't. I did not say she'll make it to the end. She's not winning. She is not going to win Drag Race. If Susie. If. If Sam star wins season 17, I will eat this camera. I'm saying it right now.
Selena Estiddies
All right?
Bob the Drag Queen
If Sam Star wins, I will piece by piece, eat this entire camera.
Selena Estiddies
And. And you'll give me a thousand dollars.
Bob the Drag Queen
That I did not say that. Bitch.
Selena Estiddies
You already.
Bob the Drag Queen
You. That was. That was. That was some sneaky little. So the next. So the next day, you just be a nice. You don't want Trinity the Tuck to come for that ass. No.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, no, not at all. Not at all.
Bob the Drag Queen
The next day, the girls walk in, and so they're teaming up because they're doing this like, Mad Libs. You ever do Mad Libs?
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, of course. Super fun.
Bob the Drag Queen
And Lexi teamed up with Anya because she wants to get some of her shine, which is a good. Like, a good plan. But, like, I feel like lately. Not lately. For the past, like, eight episodes, Lexi's plan has been to either avoid Susie Toot or team up with Anya Nerve to get some of their shine. Instead of being like, just be good. Which is great. Cause I actually think that what I do think their teamwork helped Lexi with a win this time. But it was. It was Lexi herself. It was. Lexi got the win. She's in her head so much, it's crazy. That girl's head is a dangerous neighborhood and she should not be there by herself.
Selena Estiddies
It was what I was talking about earlier. Like, I. I was so in my head while I was there, and I see that in her when I'm there, and I'm like, bitch, get out of there. Like, you're so fine. You're great. You know what I mean? Like, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. She's. She's. She's in her own way. But now in this episode, like, even in Untuck, she talks about, like, how she's getting out of her head now. She's good. She's. I feel like this is going to be, like, her incline up towards the end.
Bob the Drag Queen
So I was rooting for her from the beginning. I think that Jules is the comedy queen of the season.
Selena Estiddies
She is. She's like the unlikely Angenu, which I'm like, oh, work. She's the rom com diva giving us moments. I think every acting challenge. She's so funny. She's so good.
Bob the Drag Queen
I agree. And she's good off the cuff. It's like when. When Gottmik and I still stand by this Gottmik is the comedy queen of her season. Season, whatever. The season with Symone. Gottmik is the funniest queen from that season. Jewel Sparkles is the funniest queen from this season. She said, I want to sing on that show. My goal in life is to sing on that show where they sell antiques. That's so funny.
Selena Estiddies
What show is that? Roadhouse. Antique Roadhouse.
Bob the Drag Queen
It's called Antique Roadshow. Road House is a restaurant. Texas Roadhouse is a restaurant. Celine, I love you so much. I'm obsessed with you.
Selena Estiddies
I don't know. I'm not very well traveled. I'm not very, like, in the know with things, really.
Bob the Drag Queen
You don't have to travel to watch Antique Roadshow. It's on tv. Mary. We don't. We don't. We're not going to Antique. We watched it on tv.
Selena Estiddies
Listen, I was referring to Roadhouse, but also, I didn't have all the cable packages growing up.
Bob the Drag Queen
And also, to be fair, Antique Roadshow is on. Is on. Is not on cable. I just want to be clear. You're running out of excuses. Antique Roadshow. You think Antique Roadshow is on bet?
Selena Estiddies
No, I was watching bet.
Bob the Drag Queen
Where do you think. You think Antique Road show was on? Hbo? It was on, like, PBS or something. So I never heard of that show.
Selena Estiddies
Until, like, five minutes ago.
Bob the Drag Queen
Well, it's. It's basically a show where you go on and people bring. This is crazy. People bring old things that they found, and they, like, ask people to appraise it, and they'll be like, oh, I just found this in my grandma's attic. They're like, this is worth $8 million. It is literally a letter from George Washington. Or they'll be like, my grandpa passed this down from generation to generation. It must be worth mentality. This is worth $3. This is literally.
Selena Estiddies
That would be a fun YouTube series with drag queens. Have them bring old drag, and we see how much we can sell it for.
Bob the Drag Queen
And I can appraise it. Yeah. Depending on who it is, we might get some money. If Monet bring her old stuff. It's all from Rainbow. We're not getting no fucking money for that shit.
Selena Estiddies
Y'All.
Bob the Drag Queen
We've all been there. You check your bank account, and suddenly you're hit with an overdraft fee or fees. To this day, baby, it be fees on top of fees on top of fees. And that makes an already tight situation even worse. That's a good drag name. Fifi Overdraft. That's a good one. I remember that one time. Y'all I was going to the Dallas BBQ, the one in the West Village near 6th Avenue, and I had just gotten paid. But I also my rent was debiting that same day because my check was a little late and I thought I was rolling in the dell. So I was buying jig roll drinks for myself for co workers.
Selena Estiddies
I was like, it's on me tonight, y'all.
Bob the Drag Queen
Let's live. I don't even drink the next day. Category is your bank account is closed. I had, I had nothing, nothing, nothing. No money on my card. Let me tell y'all, it was very, very, very sad. I don't think that Lexi has a good sense of humor.
Selena Estiddies
I don't think she, she, she's good with the wit. She's too. Since she's too earnest. You know what I mean?
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah. There's too much going on between those ears, between her noggin. And like these jokes don't make sense. They're just not landing.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, no, it's like. And it's also. It's a very telling like too. Like I talked about earlier with New York Drag. Like I would go to New York and study the Queens there and bring that vibe back to la because there's not a lot of hosting on a microphone. For two hours by yourself here in la, like, that doesn't really exist. And I created that and carved that out for myself here to be able to be good at that, because I saw that it worked in New York and I lived for it. But that doesn't happen out here in la. And I know she's from Tennessee or Chattanooga or something, but she lived in LA for a while. That's how I known her beforehand. And yeah, drag shows here, you don't really get that enough, unless you're Morgan McMichaels.
Bob the Drag Queen
I don't know if I misheard this, but I went to Barracuda last night, the closing of Barracuda, and rip to Barracuda. I think there's only one show left in New York, in Manhattan that is hosted by one person doing the show by themselves, and it's Keeja Carr.
Selena Estiddies
What? That's it?
Bob the Drag Queen
I think it might. But I might be wrong. I might have misheard. Or maybe the queen was here.
Selena Estiddies
I feel like there was. There was a shift lately in New York drag where it became about these. These dancing queen girl groups, I feel. And like, the assassination. Yeah. And a lot of that started happening. But I remember back in the day, like, I used to go and I would watch Pixie, I would see the help. I would see, like, Brita show. It was just.
Bob the Drag Queen
Well, a lot of us got snatched up by Drag Race. Me, Brita, Filter, Monet Exchange, Bianca Del Rio, and then Sherry vine and Jackie B moved to LA. Peppermint got snatched up by RuPaul's Drag Race. So a lot of the girls who were doing these. These, like, one woman shows just got scooped up and, you know, put into the world of drag at large.
Selena Estiddies
And again, I think going back to, like, this season in particular, it's a lot of young queens who don't have a lot of experience to begin with. So no way they're going to have their own show with a microphone where they can come up with this kind of stuff, which I think is a very. I love challenges on Drag Race that also are very practical with, like, drag outside in the real world. And I feel like this is very much that vibe. And I love when a challenge allows for us to, like, really utilize real talents that we use in real life on the show.
Bob the Drag Queen
Well, speaking of talents we use in real life, let's say this, so in drag outside in the real world and monologues, they're writing their own monologues like this charisma, unique and nerve. The charisma, uniqueness, nerve and Talent Monologues.
Selena Estiddies
You know, it stands for Cunt Monologues. Like vagina. It took me so long to realize that.
Bob the Drag Queen
What you mean from this episode specifically?
Sponsor Voice
Yes.
Selena Estiddies
I was like, why is that such a long title?
Bob the Drag Queen
Selena, you are nothing if not beautiful. Let me say that right now. You are hot. You got that going for you.
Selena Estiddies
It made sense. It made sense.
Bob the Drag Queen
I keep these looks going because between this Texas roadhouse and thinking Antique, so Susie, so sue, they're all getting their. Like, their. Their prompts, and Susie's was like. Like. Like a. Like a loss that she's had. And she's like, I've never lost anything. And I was like, this is crazy, because you have lost so many challenges on this show. Like, you. You've lost many challenges. You've been very close to being in the bottom.
Selena Estiddies
She lost her taste before Drag Race, like, literally.
Bob the Drag Queen
And then later on, they're described. Like, Susie's describing the spelling bee story, and she's like, she's. The fact that she's literally describing the Snatch Game, she goes, I lost because I was too confident. That's literally Snatch Game. You went in too confident. You. And you didn't. And you didn't. You landed near the bottom because you were too confident going in. And she. She didn't want to take anyone's. Cause she's like, well, I'm not worried. It's going to be great. And it was not great.
Selena Estiddies
That seems to be her vibe, right? Like, do you think she's aware that she's being overly confident? Or you think that's just how she is in real life? Like, because everyone's telling her. There's a sense of putting on. You know, sometimes for girls when they're there, and Sam's.
Bob the Drag Queen
Putting on. Sam's confidence is put on. Susie's confidence is real. And it. And. And everyone keeps telling her, so I think. I think she's aware.
Selena Estiddies
Would you consider it delusional or not?
Bob the Drag Queen
Yes.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah.
Bob the Drag Queen
I think Susie Suit is actually a front runner in the competition. But her level of delude. But okay, not necessarily. Because when she's aware that Anya Nerve is the front runner, like, I have a note for that later on. But she still goes into certain challenges. Like, I'm gonna eat this up, and I'm gonna win. And she doesn't. And she doesn't deserve the win. Like, she really like her Snatch Game delusion, but on other stuff, she's not delusional. Cause she is quite creative. She's very smart. She's very cerebral. She likes to Say so. I think that in some areas, she's completely justified in her confidence. In some areas, it's like, delusion. Yeah. But also guilty.
Selena Estiddies
But also, we're drag queens. We're delusional, bitch. We kind of gotta be in order to, like, kind of survive, you know?
Bob the Drag Queen
Literally. Also guilty. So Jules is once again picking the order of the show.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, my God.
Bob the Drag Queen
And at first she's like, I'm gonna be. You know, I'm gonna be a mess. But then she ended up not being a mess. She was like, I'm just gonna give everyone what they want. I'm just gonna. I'm just. They bullied this girl into submission.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah. Because she was handling that with the way that she was, like, maniacal. Dr. Burns. Mr. Burns. I was like, yes, we'd like to see it.
Bob the Drag Queen
But then she ended up not doing it.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, she bent over. It's fine. Maybe she was nervous for the challenge.
Bob the Drag Queen
She's too sweet. Jules is so sweet. I could have a friend like Jules. She'd be easy to take advantage of in a friendship.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, so you admit you take advantage of monetary.
Bob the Drag Queen
Oh, yeah, she's easy. Yeah, she's easy to manipulate. And that's why. That's why I like you.
Selena Estiddies
I know. I do bend over so easy. Even though I'm a top bitch, I will bend over portrayed. It doesn't matter.
Bob the Drag Queen
But I do stand up for those people, though, when someone else trying to manipulate and say, hey, hey, watch it. Don't you dare. Don't you dare. Susie Toot, trying to choreograph Jewel Sparkles is sending me to the moon.
Selena Estiddies
Susie Spielberg is what I call her. Susie girl Susie.
Bob the Drag Queen
Susie Spielberg. She is her. She really thinks that she is like Susie Graham. Like, Susie Martha Graham, you know, I mean, Susie. Ay. It is crazy.
Selena Estiddies
It's. I kind of live for it, though, because, like, I. I like that kind of in real life, like, if we're working on a project together, like, I like a girl that's like that. Because I feel like I want to be like that, but I don't speak up too much. So I live. But on the show, it's kind of like, okay, girls, competition. Calm down. You know, it's funny.
Bob the Drag Queen
Well, something fun fact. But it never came to fruition because, I guess, I don't know, people say I'm intimidating, which I think is crazy. I think I'm actually quite approachable, despite the mean look on my face when I meet people. I'm like. I'm, like, very firm. Like, hey, you know, I Give you my number. I say, call me. So we read a movie and Selena was like, I want you to help me with my one woman show. And I was like, I would love to. Bitch never called me.
Selena Estiddies
You know what? I'd be texting you, but the messages be green. And I'm like, oh, maybe that's my phone.
Bob the Drag Queen
I have, I have, I have.
Selena Estiddies
No, you gotta call her. I have a Google Pixel.
Bob the Drag Queen
That is my phone. I have a Google Pixel. You have to get over it, Mary.
Selena Estiddies
I was like, I don't know, maybe my messages weren't going through or she didn't see it.
Bob the Drag Queen
I know you. You are not able to afford an iPhone, Selena.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, you can miss Madonna, because I think that's what happened. You were on tour with Madonna at the time. So I was like, I don't want to bug her with this. She's busy. She's on tour.
Bob the Drag Queen
Well, I would still love to help you. I would love to.
Selena Estiddies
Actually, I'm current. I'm currently rewriting my show too, which I'm very. I'm excited about.
Bob the Drag Queen
So.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, maybe I'll ask you for that. That'd be cool. Because, yeah, I.
Bob the Drag Queen
That Reach out, sister.
Selena Estiddies
Another thing. I love you so much because one time I was walking home from the gym and. And these two black men pulled up next to me and I. I was like, excited. No, just kidding. But it was Bob Monet in the car. They said, get in the car, Mary. And I got in the car and they're like, what are you guys up to? Or what are you working on? I said, oh, I'm actually writing a musical. And he's like, I'm writing a musical. And that's when you played me your Harriet Tubman music for the first time. And I was like, oh, this is so good. It's so good.
Bob the Drag Queen
Thank you. Aw, thank you. I'm very proud of it. And you all can go hear the songs right now. They're in the audiobook. And I don't really tell people this often because you guys to like, buy a book. But I will tell you this. If you have a Spotify premium account, you get 10 free hours of songs every of 10 hours of audiobook every month. My book is only five and a half hours. You can listen to my book and like 80% of Michelle's book for free on Spotify. In fact, it's not free. You already paying for it.
Selena Estiddies
I just read La Roach's book and it actually. I really live for it. It was so cute. He has a little bit of a Switch impediment. So it's kind of also.
Bob the Drag Queen
If you have an Audible account, you get one free audiobook every month. It should be mine. Get it on Audible and get it on Spotify Premium, because you already paid for it. Just do it. Just do it for me. Yes, dear.
Selena Estiddies
Is listening to an audiobook. Would you consider reading a book?
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah, I do.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, for sure you do. My friend's like, you're listening to a book, bitch.
Bob the Drag Queen
I mean, you are listening, but I consider it. You. You consume the book. So I would say, yeah, I read your book for sure. 100%. Your friends are haters.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, that's what I said. Yeah.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah, they're haters. Let's go on to the makeup moment. So Lana. Lana Jarret, being a pro clown is so iconic. I am obsessed with clowns. I need to see the Lana Jarret clown pictures. I need them more than I need my next breath. I want to see Lana Jarret's clowning.
Selena Estiddies
I wonder if they exist. They probably do.
Bob the Drag Queen
I mean, someone must have Googled it. But I did not Google because I came straight here. I watched Episode, and I come straight here.
Selena Estiddies
Well, you got to Google Pixel, but.
Bob the Drag Queen
And I know I got the Google pics. I didn't even bother to Google it, but I want to see her fucking clown pic. Do you. How do you feel about clowns?
Selena Estiddies
I am not afraid of clowns. I used to go to Reno when I was a kid a lot with my gay uncles, and we go to circus Circus. We always say a circus circus. And there's clowns everywhere in there, so it never really scared me. I feel like I grew up with them. And, yeah, clowns don't scare me like that. And I love Pennywise. Like, Pennywise is like one of my favorite little moments.
Bob the Drag Queen
Which Pennywise? Skarsgard or.
Selena Estiddies
I like them both, but I love Skarsgrd. Skarsgard is such a drag queen. That bitch will transform. Did you see Nosferatu, too? Vampire. Oh, it's so beautiful. It's so beautiful. Nosferatu dick. Yeah, I don't think it's his dick. I think it's a prosthetic. Well, damn.
Bob the Drag Queen
Is it like. Is it like. Is it like a monster dick?
Selena Estiddies
No, it's like. Yeah, it's like a person's dick, but it was like an average size. But I would think Nosferatu with those big ass fingers would have a honker, and he didn't.
Bob the Drag Queen
That's what. You can't always judge a penis by the size of the hands. You know what I mean, are you a size queen?
Selena Estiddies
No, but I do. I like all sizes. And I. I just. I love the exploration. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. Actually, that is like. I mean, for as big of his body is, it should be a little bigger. I feel proportionally.
Bob the Drag Queen
You can never tell how big it's.
Selena Estiddies
Going to get, but that's what I was gonna say. I love a flaccid dick. And being surprised but by what it turns into, that's my favorite thing.
Bob the Drag Queen
I don't.
Selena Estiddies
I don't really care for hard dick pics. I love flaccid dick pics. That's my favorite thing.
Bob the Drag Queen
In fact, if you see it, like, if you see a big FL. Penis, it's usually not going to get much bigger.
Selena Estiddies
No. And is it? Oh, my God.
Bob the Drag Queen
Oh, my God.
Selena Estiddies
I had a hookup. Okay, Jacob, I'll be quick. I had a hookup and this guy used to work at this plastic surgeon office in Beverly Hills. And guess what it was called. Free advertisement, I guess. But it was called. Oh, my God. It was called him Him Plants. And it's implants and it's dick implants. And I was like, okay. And he was saying that, like, I was like, oh, like, what kind of guys. Was it like a lot of white guys that go get. He's like, no, no, it was all kinds. And mostly, like, black and Latino. And I was like, that's interesting. Which. And then he was like, well, what does it do? So it's like a silicone basically, like hot dog bun that goes inside of your dick and it's like a little. And it makes it big. And he's like, a lot of guys want it because they just want the look of it to. To look big in their pants, but it's not functional. Like, you don't get harder or like, when you're hard, it's not bigger. It just is that size and stays that size. It's like those big silico pump dicks that you see at the Eagle.
Bob the Drag Queen
I feel like if you have a silicone around your dick, that silicone can't get hard.
Selena Estiddies
No.
Bob the Drag Queen
So it's like one of those stress. One of those stress relievers.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah. Yeah. It was like. It basically was like a slice of silicone that they just wrap around on the inside.
Bob the Drag Queen
I don't like it. I don't like it.
Selena Estiddies
Me neither. But that we're so.
Bob the Drag Queen
I'm upset. I'm very upset about this.
Selena Estiddies
I mean, just be happy with the dick you have. This episode is brought to you by State Farm. Lana Jarret is actually pretty good with her physical comedy. When she's like doing the. Or her physicality, I mean, when she's moving around doing the praise. And so. My God, Jules Sparkles is. Her body is so like. I know. She told us that she has this surgery. The, the metal in her, the. The titanium in her.
Selena Estiddies
That was. Wasn't that arietti?
Bob the Drag Queen
That was Jules the whole time. The whole. The whole time. The whole. The whole time. That was Jules. Yeah. But she. This girl is mobile work. And her physical comedy when she was doing the pantomime stuff was so funny to me.
Selena Estiddies
She was so good.
Bob the Drag Queen
Well, we haven't got the challenge yet.
Selena Estiddies
Okay, challenge.
Bob the Drag Queen
Now we'll start with the challenge. We'll start with Susie, too. I took some notes, so I think that she should have spelled each word as she was going along. Like, she kept saying the words, but she wasn't spelling the words. And that was bothering me.
Selena Estiddies
She has such a good, like, like base to create something really good there. I think with her act. Jules. Oh, again, Jules was being too nice. I think that's what you said before, Jules is monologue was like too earnest and too sweet.
Bob the Drag Queen
We're still on Susie. We're still on Susie.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, oh. Were they partners?
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah, sorry.
Selena Estiddies
We do one at a time.
Bob the Drag Queen
I think that Susie's okay. First of all, I think that what she was saying was, because this was not clear, that the word she spelled was air A I, R, but the word was actually air, like an heir to a throne. I'm assuming that's what she's saying, cuz she spelled air correctly. Didn't she say A I R? No, she said A oh, she said.
Selena Estiddies
A E, R. But it would've been funnier if she. I think if she spelled H E I R. Yeah.
Bob the Drag Queen
And I think that, I think also the word, the word should have been approval. And I love that she got her father's approval. But the story would have been better if she didn't get her father's approval and she found the approval within herself. To me, that would have been a better story.
Selena Estiddies
And then called herself D A D D Y.
Bob the Drag Queen
Exactly. And then she put on her big fisting gloves and went to a punch party. Who boots. But Jules was great, a great dancer for her.
Selena Estiddies
I believe she interpreted really nicely. She was doing the thing. I like these outfits they're wearing.
Bob the Drag Queen
These outfits are sending me to the moon.
Selena Estiddies
Alvin Ailey, Realness.
Bob the Drag Queen
What do you think of Jules again?
Selena Estiddies
I think Jules was very earnest. I think she was just too sweet for her own good. You know, it needed a little more like, a little more sassy, nasty.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah, I rewrote a line. She goes, I, my best friend was a ghost and no, I'm not a medium. She should have said, I'm an extra small. That would have been funnier to me. But she was like, no, I'm not a medium and I can't talk to your dead grandma. Like she'd be like, you know, I'm not a medium. Actually extra small. But thanks for asking. It looked thick, don't it? I look thick.
Selena Estiddies
Do you watch, do you watch hacks?
Bob the Drag Queen
No, I don't.
Selena Estiddies
I'm catching up right now. And it's all about this like old washed up comedian. No, she's not watched it up, but it's like her joke writer. So they're constantly bouncing jokes back and forth. So what you're doing right now is very much that.
Bob the Drag Queen
All the time. There weren't enough jokes in there. And I think that she could have had some like age jokes about. This would be a great joke. Right. If you say something like, I Got. Oh, my God. I remember watching Bianca Del Rio on Drag Race when I was 2 years old. Ha, ha, ha. That's the joke. And then she goes. And I remember watching RuPaul on Drag Race. RuPaul on MTV when I was 2. And by the way, that's not a joke. I was actually 2 years old. RuPaul was on MTV. That would be funny to me. Me or, or l was even alive, I don't think, when RuPaul was on MTV.
Selena Estiddies
No. I think she was born on season three or something, right?
Bob the Drag Queen
Or, or, or, or if she would have been like. And I remember, like, I remember watching bianca on Drag Ra when I was two years old. And I remember my mom watching RuPaul on. On MTV when she was two years old.
Selena Estiddies
She was two years old.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah, right. But I mean, it was just an opportunity. Let's. What do you think about Anya Nerve?
Selena Estiddies
I think Anya is fantastic. She is so. I could hear her talk about anything because she's so sweet, and she's so. I, I, I, she's I. Which I did not expect from her from the beginning of the season. Like, from the Meet the Queens and everything. I was just like, okay. But I live for her. She's so good.
Bob the Drag Queen
I agree. Her and Lexi's wigs are criminal, and I'm sending those wigs directly to prison. Those wigs are going to prison. I'm. I'm calling. I'm calling the cops right now. I'm calling the fashion cops, and they're taking those wigs away. Those yellow kitty cats.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, yes.
Bob the Drag Queen
My God. They're criminal. It's the same one. One. By the way, fun fact, a chicken wing also ended my veganism.
Selena Estiddies
Wait, what? Wait, what? I was a vegan because that was her story. Yeah. Yeah.
Bob the Drag Queen
I was a vegan for a couple of years. And the chicken wing also ended my vegan veganism. It really did, because you ate it. Chicken wing will do it to you. The chicken wing will do it to you. There was this place over near Carnegie Hall. It's, like, right across the street and in one block up from Carnegie Hall. Oh, my God, this place had the best wings. I'm gonna try to go to there tomorrow if they're still there. Oh, my God, those wings were so good. Oh.
Selena Estiddies
Do you like boneless wings, or am I a loser for liking nuggets?
Bob the Drag Queen
I don't think you're a loser, but I think that bone in just tastes a lot better. It's just a better wing.
Selena Estiddies
One time, I had a wing.
Bob the Drag Queen
You're Eating chicken tenders.
Selena Estiddies
I mean, nuggets. Yeah. I had a wing and I ate it. And on the bone, there was a feather that came out of the bone. And that kind of disgusted me, so I kind of stopped eating on the bone since then.
Bob the Drag Queen
I'm gonna ask a question that seems really rich coming from me. It's gonna sound really rich coming for me. Do you have adhd?
Selena Estiddies
No, I don't. And can I say, I'm not someone who, like, blames my laziness on ADHD or autism or anything. I'm not that person. That is not me at all.
Bob the Drag Queen
How often do you get asked the question, do you have adhd?
Selena Estiddies
Never. You're the first one. You're the first person. I also don't talk to a lot of people. I'm very lonely.
Bob the Drag Queen
Oh, my God. Selena, you have my number. Call me. You can come and hang out.
Selena Estiddies
Okay.
Bob the Drag Queen
Anyway, let's go on to Sam Star. I think that it would have been funnier if the poster said, vote Sam for Homo Coming.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, she pulled out a poster during. During her number.
Bob the Drag Queen
No, she said. She said the poster got vandalized and said, vote St. For homecoming queen and king was scratched out. It would have been. If I said, vote Sam for Homo coming. That would have been better for. In my opinion. You can flip the story a little bit. Sam's story wasn't great to me. Like, it wasn't great. Her and Lexi were not. Lexi did a better job and. Sorry. Lana did a better job dancing for her than she did for Alana, in my opinion. But her, to me, Sam's story was kind of like, it was.
Selena Estiddies
It was lame. Sam.
Bob the Drag Queen
Like, no one care. Not no one cares. But it's like watching everyone's talking about Jamie. Like, I don't care about this guy's story. He's annoying. Annoying. I don't care if he gets to wear a dress to prom.
Selena Estiddies
Dear Evan Hansen is like, give me a white twink and I won't care about him. You know what I mean? Like, it's.
Bob the Drag Queen
It's like, literally the whole story is about a kid wanting to fight the dress code. And I get it. You're trying to break against gender norm. Like, girl, it's a dress. You're at a private school where they. You wear uniforms. There's a dress code.
Selena Estiddies
Mary also, didn't she go to prom in, like, 2019? Like, yeah, I don't.
Bob the Drag Queen
I don't. When they're acting up, being like, this is annoying. I don't care that you didn't get that they're telling you not to wear your.
Selena Estiddies
She's your new Blair. She's your new Blair Sinclair. What you got to get. Isn't that your type, though?
Bob the Drag Queen
There's. Is this white wings. I like black twinks. I like a lot of people. Everyone thinks that I only like white twinks. I will a white twink, but I also will someone who's not a white twink. But everyone thinks, like, Bob only wants the white twinks. That's what's in their head.
Selena Estiddies
I wonder if there's like a case of, you know, on the school ground where you pick on your crush, you make fun of them and stuff. That's really what's happening here.
Bob the Drag Queen
Because I assure you, I do not have a crush on Jamie or Blair sack.
Sponsor Voice
Hold on.
Selena Estiddies
You will not. You wouldn't, you wouldn't hook up with Sam if they, if they offered.
Bob the Drag Queen
No.
Selena Estiddies
I think he's kind of hot. And I'm not into twinks or white skinny people at all, but I think I would.
Bob the Drag Queen
No. I have never looked at Sam once and thought to myself, gotta get some of that.
Selena Estiddies
I had a.
Bob the Drag Queen
Just because. Just because I will have sex with, with a white twink does not mean I will have sex with any white twink. That's crazy. I think, like, again, people think that I'm, like, only obsessed with the white twinks. I, I, I will. I have had sex with white twinks before, but I've also had sex with a lot of people. I would say most of the people I hook up with are not white twinks. What's your epiphany?
Selena Estiddies
My epiphany was I realized that if you get a twink, I should have done because twinks have always been attracted to me. Like, twinks love me for some reason, but I, I don't care for them. Cause I'm a big boy. I wanted someone who's a little bigger, who can handle me and. But I realized, oh, twinks turn eventually turn into twunks and twaszes. So I, if I invested in a twink now, I could have, have, you know, someone that then becomes like an otter or a twunk later on. I don't know.
Bob the Drag Queen
What if, what if your stock doesn't. What if, like, your portfolio doesn't appreciate in the proper way and you realize that you've invested in a forever twink? What are you gonna do then?
Selena Estiddies
I'm gonna need a roster.
Bob the Drag Queen
You invested in the Courtney act, and the Courtney act is 45 and still a twink. Now what are you Gonna do.
Selena Estiddies
No, I can't do that. It can't. That can't be the case for me. No, I'm gonna have to.
Bob the Drag Queen
But you don't. You don't know. You don't know what you're gonna get. What if you invested in someone like Troye Sivan and you end up with a forever twinkle?
Selena Estiddies
Oh, I can't do that. That's not my vibe. See, that's. Maybe my epiphany is not very okay.
Bob the Drag Queen
Maybe you can be a feeder, though.
Selena Estiddies
A what? A feeder feeder. I know a queen who's a feeder.
Bob the Drag Queen
I'm not gonna say their name.
Selena Estiddies
I'm not gonna say their name.
Bob the Drag Queen
Cover your mouth and say it. Cover your mouth. We'll bleep it.
Selena Estiddies
No, really. You'll bleep it.
Bob the Drag Queen
We'll bleep it. Yeah.
Selena Estiddies
Do you know this? Oh, yes. Bitch. She. Yeah. Yeah. It's so much fun. They'll tell you all about it.
Bob the Drag Queen
Good for her. Good for her.
Selena Estiddies
It's so random. It's the random.
Bob the Drag Queen
I had a hookup with a feeder once, and it was insane.
Selena Estiddies
What did you eat? What was on the menu?
Bob the Drag Queen
It was just drinking. It was just drink. I wish it was just drink a lot of water. It was just drink a lot. Like an absurd amount of water.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, I wonder how that kink comes into play. Like, you know how I think a lot of kinks are traumatic, like childhood shit that you bring into adulthood is how I feel. I wonder what happened to you when you were younger that makes that your kink.
Bob the Drag Queen
I think he just liked bellies. Like, I think he just, like, likes bellies. Huh?
Selena Estiddies
That's cute. Maybe his dad had a nice belly.
Bob the Drag Queen
Maybe. Who knows? I don't want to go too deep into this guy.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, let's. Let's go.
Bob the Drag Queen
Lana Jarrett. Lana Jerae has such a monotone voice.
Selena Estiddies
Yes.
Bob the Drag Queen
That I think it is hard. Is one. It's kind of hard to listen to for Over a long time. Over a long period of time. And it's hard for her to, like, give an exciting story because she. Even when she was, like, crying and leaving, she was like, I want to thank you so much for this amazing moment. This means so much to me. This has been the dream of my lifetime. Like, even when she's very emotional, this.
Selena Estiddies
Is how she talks 1000%, which is like. Yeah, I don't. I. I didn't ever know because I knew Lana before the show, too, and I never known her to be very vocal. Like, she was always a very visual queen to me. I Don't think the monotone is helping her in her favor, like, with the fans either.
Bob the Drag Queen
Let's look at some outfits and get into the Runway. Category is world's ugliest dress. Okay.
Selena Estiddies
I know. I know a thing or two about ugly dresses, baby. That much.
Bob the Drag Queen
You are a golden Boot. Are you. Are you the first golden Boot recipient?
Selena Estiddies
I'm the third. First it was Lala Ri, then Matty Morphoses, and then me.
Bob the Drag Queen
I can't even remember the order of the show anymore. I feel like RuPaul.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, yeah.
Bob the Drag Queen
Seattle. Like, literally Seattle. Seattle. Let's get into. First of all, all the judges look great. I love every one of their outfits. I love this look on RuPaul. This, sir. This is her Corona Byers hair.
Selena Estiddies
This is finally some good hair this season. The wigs. She has been shaking the wigs out of the bins all season and popping them on from the 70s. This wig is delicious. Finally on the Runway.
Bob the Drag Queen
This. I feel like this is the wig that she wore on the. If you look up the. The All Stars with that Shea one. One.
Selena Estiddies
Huh? Right?
Bob the Drag Queen
That's. That's the wig. And it looks amazing. I love this outfit. I love her in a structured shoulder. Let's go on to Suzanne Tooth. This dress is hideous. She nailed it. This is a hideous dress.
Selena Estiddies
And I don't know if you noticed, but she painted her neck green.
Bob the Drag Queen
I did notice. Yes. I did notice. I'm not that color.
Selena Estiddies
I don't think. Have I ever seen a yellow like. Like pin curl wig like this before? I don't think I have. Have. Did Cardi B. Wear that? I don't know.
Bob the Drag Queen
Cardi B. Bell kit almost are on. On the invasion of privacy. This wig. This dress is ugly. She. She nailed it. This. This dress has a lot of character. Okay.
Selena Estiddies
But a very confusing category. Cuz, like, is it. Is it an ugly dress? But like, oh, my God, she made it Fashion so work kind of like Lexi. Like, we'll get there.
Bob the Drag Queen
If you re. If you recall from season seven, that is not the case because Miss Fame made it fashion, by the way, justice for Miss Fame. I do think her dress was ugly. But anyway, that's the whole. That's going to be a different time. I do think that the point is not to make it back. That's why Miss Fame went home, because she didn't. Her and Pearl didn't do a good enough job making the dresses ugly.
Selena Estiddies
Ugly because they were too pretty. Okay? So we want to be ugly. That's the goal here. Got it.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yes. Which is where Jules Sparkles made a mistake because Michelle was like, this dress is not ugly, bitch. This was fashion. We wore this. This is. This dress was very on brand. I mean, not on brand, but very, like, fashionable at one point in time.
Selena Estiddies
So Michelle was just more offended. She was like, how dare you call my life ugly?
Bob the Drag Queen
Right? The shoes are ugly. The shoes are hideous.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, yes. That's a Brita filter heel, honey.
Bob the Drag Queen
The Brita Filter special. The Brita Filter special, baby. No, that is. I actually. I actually don't think. I don't think this dress is ugly enough, personally.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, no, I. I actually love the fabric on the bottom of the dress too. It's really. I live for that kind of taffeta. But she also, in untucked, was saying, like, it's not my fault. I can't make a dress look ugly. I'm just too gorgeous. And I was like, yes.
Bob the Drag Queen
No, she could wear. She could wear an ugly dress. She just didn't. We, like, that's also a lame. Like, when people. I can't. Like, one of the designers, like, I think it was Jeffrey Kelly was like, I just can't make an ugly dress. Of course you can. Oh, of course you can make an ugly dress. This is bullshit. You can make an ugly dress. Like, don't. Don't. Fuck. I'm not fucking stupid, bitch.
Selena Estiddies
Okay?
Bob the Drag Queen
You can wear an ugly dress. Bitch.
Selena Estiddies
Can you give me criteria of what an ugly dress should contain, or is it just subjective silhouette?
Bob the Drag Queen
When the silhouette is not flattering, which I will say the silhouette is not great, but it was flattering at one point in time. I will say the colors don't match the pattern. The fabrics themselves don't match each other.
Selena Estiddies
Maybe they clash. Okay.
Bob the Drag Queen
It's too short. It's too long. I would say a great idea would be a dress where the sleeve. You ever worn a dress that was too small? So the. The. The armpit didn't go up to the armpit, and the armpit went all the way down here. It was like one of those web things. If the gloves don't fit and you can see the webbing between the fingers. Another great idea would be if the. If. If it's unhemmed, if the hem is undone, if the zipper is exposed, if it's got one of those wiggly zippers in the background where your spine's all wiggly.
Selena Estiddies
My first design challenge. Jesus, drag me.
Bob the Drag Queen
Then you, like, sew the zipper on, but you pour it on. Sew it on por. So you can still see the zipper in the back.
Selena Estiddies
The one's higher than the other.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah, yeah. Uneven seams. There's so much stuff that can make a dress hideous, in my opinion. And this dress doesn't have any of those things. The, the, the. It might be a little unflattering on silhouette wise, but for the, for world's ugliest dress, it is not. But however, on your nerve, this outfit is hideous.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, this is. This was crazy. That, that cut of the, the blazer or whatever the shorts the dress is, is insane. And it's these monster feet. They kept zooming in on her feet clumping around the workroom.
Bob the Drag Queen
The fact that she's still wearing a heel is hilarious, by the way.
Selena Estiddies
It is crazy. These talons are crazy. And just like the smallest little ruffle feather in the back, like, usually that's the biggest part of the turkey. And it's just like she's just gonna put a headpiece on.
Bob the Drag Queen
And what's also what makes this particularly great, I think this is the kind of outfit that you'd be embarrassed to walk out in in, like, in, like, a middle school, elementary school way. Like, you be like, I am the turkey, and I am what we have for Thanksgiving. Yeah, I think she nailed it. Also. Lexi Love. Lexi Love. Nailed it. This dress is hideous. I think it's. I think I, I, I love. And there, there are parts that are a little too pretty, but the gloves are off, which I.
Selena Estiddies
The corset is gorgeous. I love the corset in the cinching in the waist.
Bob the Drag Queen
It is a nice corset. But I love, like, the, the tool on her feet is, is, is unflattering the toes. The fact that the tool skirts themselves are not, like, well done. They're, like, bustling out to one side like this. Could. This concept could be done well and look nice, but they, but, but her and her team, they chose to make it not nice, which I appreciate.
Selena Estiddies
I thought it was very pretty for.
Bob the Drag Queen
Being the ugly dress that scans for you.
Selena Estiddies
Hello.
Bob the Drag Queen
Let's go on to Sam Starr. This is not, by any measure, this is where Jeffrey Kelly made this. Like, I'm sorry, I just can't make an ugly dress. Of course you can make a fucking ugly dress. And this dress isn't ugly. And I hate that she came out in this trying to tell us that she thinks this, this is you trying to tell me that you think you're just so fucking fashionable that you couldn't possibly wear an ugly dress, which is what Jewel was saying. Bitch. I'm not stupid. Don't lie to me, bitch. You can wear a fucking ugly dress.
Selena Estiddies
She did that in untucked, too. She was like, oh, I should have asked Susie for a dress. I just don't own anything ugly. But it's like, girl, meet the challenge.
Bob the Drag Queen
Fuck up, you lame asshole. Yeah, of course you can, like, do the challenge. You know what I mean? Anyway, speaking of ugly dresses. Lana Jarret. Nailed it. This dress is fucking hideous.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, my God. Disgusting. I. I didn't understand it the first time. Was it on Drag Race a couple times? No, just once.
Bob the Drag Queen
Just twice. Literally. A couple twice. Yes. And I will say this, too. We're gonna get into it. There was some. There was some drama around this dress and around what SA Star is wearing, and we're going to be having that conversation in our untucked exclusive, which you can catch over on the Patreon. Let's go on to the drama.
Selena Estiddies
Is that coming later?
Bob the Drag Queen
I can't tell you. I'll tell you. I'll tell you in the untucked exclusive.
Selena Estiddies
Y'all better sign up the Patreon.
Bob the Drag Queen
You're only getting half a story.
Selena Estiddies
You know, I used to be an auntie, and then when I got on Drag Race, I. I subscribed down to the $5 tier because I couldn't afford it.
Bob the Drag Queen
Wow. You know, Valid. Valid and fair. Valid and fair. So let's go on to the judging. So. So they like Jewel's story, but they didn't like her dance.
Selena Estiddies
Oh, okay.
Bob the Drag Queen
That's what they're saying anyway. They like her story, but. No. They liked her dance, but not her story. They liked her story about her dance as it was. Yeah. And. Wait, Sorry. No, no.
Selena Estiddies
They liked her dance, but they didn't like her story.
Bob the Drag Queen
Right, Susie. Sorry, Susie. They like Susie's story, but they did not like her dance. They thought her dance was not great, which is crazy. She was trying to choreograph Jules, who I think is better physically than she is, is.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, I, I, she's an enigma to me.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah.
Selena Estiddies
I don't even remember her dancing.
Bob the Drag Queen
It was not great. But Jewels, they loved her dance, though.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, she's good. That can twirl. She is the epitome of, like, the young generation of Drag Race queens who, like, perform at Play, Nashville, and then get on Drag Race. Like, she is that kind of. She is that girl. You know what I mean? And I very, very. That she's got it.
Bob the Drag Queen
And I, I think that obviously, you know, when it all came down, Anya and Lexi both won the challenge. They were. They were judged as a team. So Lexi now Have next two wins.
Selena Estiddies
What I live for. Whenever Lexi is in front of the judges, she'd go. She just turns into a football jock out of nowhere every time. And she's always like, I won't let you down. I'm like, what?
Bob the Drag Queen
Honestly. Iconic behavior. Iconic behavior, honey, every time.
Selena Estiddies
Go back and look at it. It's my favorite thing.
Bob the Drag Queen
I always look it out. But Lexi and Anya win. Lexi has two wins. On your nerve now has four wins. She is one of, I think, three queens, or maybe I. Maybe I might be getting wrong. I know that Shea got four wins. Sharon Noodles got four wins, but on their. On their original season. So I think she's one of very few queens who got. And I think someone else got four wins but didn't. Didn't always shake away. Got four wins but didn't win. And someone else got four wins but didn't win. I can't remember. But she became a statistic.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah. It is a very elite group of people that on your nerve has now joined. And if they still keep going on about. About Susie Toot, I'm gonna be like, honestly, as Anya, I'd be like, good. Don't say my name. Anyone but me. You know what I mean?
Selena Estiddies
But I think she's smart. Anya. And Anya even said it too. She's like, I'm not trying to let these girls think that I'm hot. Because she sees, obviously, it's not working for Susie, and they're all coming against her. There's. There's so many, like, workroom dynamics that people don' Understand if you're not there that come into play, which I. I love for, because that's all social game vibes, you know, it's just very traitors and everything. So I was always in tune with that.
Bob the Drag Queen
And Anya is. Anya is so happy for other girls when they get victories. And you know why? She's not intimidated. She doesn't think they can beat her. So she. She seems more happy for Lexi than she is for herself.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah. She's like, oh, I've gotten. I've been here before, honey. Come here. She's like Beyonce giving out, like, a bucket of white roses to Queens, you know?
Bob the Drag Queen
No, literally. Literally. And then Samstar and Lana Jarre are both in the bottom, and they lip sync. And to be honest, I don't think it matters how Lana Jarret does, because she's going home.
Selena Estiddies
Yeah, it was. It's written in the stars. It's basically sixth place. That's where I was when I went home. And at that Point. I had lip synced already, like, four times or something. I'd sent home three girls at that point, so I was like, okay, I'm pretty sure it's going to be me. And I tried to create drama as la one last hurrah and didn't work. And I went home. And she said it too. Like, she knew.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah. I actually think that Lana did a better job in the lip sync. She didn't, like, crush Sam star, but she did a better job. And also, Lana looks so hot. Hot in this.
Selena Estiddies
That's lip sync. Think. What song is it?
Bob the Drag Queen
I don't. I didn't listen. I don't. I don't give a l. Ray looked amazing. She looked like a supermodel. It was, like, crazy. And that is Lana hideous dress in that. And that bathing suit was like, oh, wow, she looks amazing. She looks like a supermodel. It was very, very stunning.
Selena Estiddies
She's like, if I'm gonna go out, I'm gonna go out, and y'all are gonna remember this body.
Bob the Drag Queen
It was. It was a very heartbreaking, like, send away. Like, she was very, you know, heartbroken. I felt for her. I just want to say, Lana Jarret, honestly, I like her. I think she did a good job on this season. She didn't. Not enough to win, but, like, she represented herself pretty well to be such a young queen. I think that she is, like, in a great position to come back and do a good job or even not come back, but, like, go on into the world, learn more. She's learning that it's not all about, like, being stunning. She's learning about. She's actually, like, she was good in the rose. She had good moments of. Of, like, performance. And I think that she's realizing that now, and I think that she's. I hope that she's, like, seeing the value in having that be part of your. Your. Your drag, you know, bag of tricks besides just standing around being pretty, because she's actually a pretty good performer. She had, obviously, a great lip syncer. She was even good at the row. So she's a pretty. She's a pretty good writer when it. When the time. When time comes for it, I think that she should lean into it more. And she did a good job on the thing season.
Selena Estiddies
I think, too, it's all. I'm very excited after being on Drag Race is watching how girls navigate after their season, because I think for a lot of girls, getting on Drag Race is the goal, and then they get there, and then, you know, the goal's Done. But I think for girls who, like, want to build a career after the fact, to watch how they do that is very interesting to me. And that's why, like, I study you, I study Trixie, I study Alaska Jinx. Like, I'm like, what are these doing and how am I going to pave my path? And, like, how they, you know, like, I'm like, I look at the girls who are paving passer themselves. So I'm very curious to see how these girls, girls, after this season, like, will pave a path for themselves. Because a lot of them are so young and a lot of them felt like, oh, they just want to get on Drag Race is how I felt when I first started watching the season. But Lana even tweeted, like, you know, she wants to be a model, and I could see that for her. Like, that is legit. Like, I could see her in Runway shows for sure. And, like, looking at other girls in the past, like, I'm excited to see how Lydia does after the show. Corey King's already cementing herself with these cameos and characters she's building, which I think are really funny. And Elaine for her, which is really fun. So I love watching how the girls navigate after the fact.
Bob the Drag Queen
Yeah, like, like, good for them. So, Lana, best of luck to you. You know, I'm, I'm, I, I, as a one New York queen to another, I'm proud of you. You did a good job on the show. You did. You said you sent a lot of girls home, honey, you sent three girls packing, so good for you, honey. She is the lipstick assassin of the season. And Sam, who else is?
Selena Estiddies
I don't think there is another one. So is it Lana? Well, Lydia, people are trying to say Lydia is the lip sync asset assassin.
Bob the Drag Queen
I think it's Sam. I mean, not Sam. I think it's Lana. It could, I think that if it ever came to it, it could be Lexi. I've seen videos of Lexi lip syncing. She's insane. She's insane. Lexi is a very good performer in the bottom, yet she's. Go Google them. She lip syncs down. It is very impressive.
Selena Estiddies
I mean, in this season, Lana has been in the bottom most and sent the most girls home. So she is so far technically the lip sync assassin. So is that what you consider lip sync assassin is. Is the person who sent the most assassin?
Bob the Drag Queen
I would say, yeah, this is the most girls home.
Selena Estiddies
Okay. I think I said the most girls home on my season. But everyone says Anitra is a lip syncing assassin because she's fudgeing. Sickening. So I think I got overshadowed by her.
Bob the Drag Queen
So I see that. I see that she up with that one. Listen y'all, we are done here but if want to hear us our thoughts on Untucked and the Twitter drama, then I will see you over on the Patreon. Bye everyone.
