Tuesday, March 25th. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. But we're here to talk about RuPaul's Drag Race. So I feel like right now Lana's actually being very self aware. When she's like, she's clear. It's clear to her that she's not doing great in the competition. You know what I mean?

Oh, my God. In Untucked, she said she's like, if I'm in the bot autumn tonight, I'm going home. Like, that's what's going to happen. And it's like, when it's your time on Drag Race, when you're there, you can kind of tell. And I knew, like, for me, I. We both went home sixth place. Me, her, and Monet went home sixth place. Her first season, it's not a bad spot ranking, I think, to go home at, at all.

But if you make it past halfway, you're doing pretty good for yourself.

Yeah. Um, yeah, right.

How many girls were on your season?

I mean, when I was on we. When I was on the Traders, I did not make it past halfway, so.

Yeah, I mean, outside of Traders, yes, I am doing pretty well. Wait, I had 12 girls in my season. I think I want to say 12. We had a very, very short. We had a nine or 10 episodes.

Yeah. So short. I remember I rewatched it and I was like, oh, I'm done work.

[Bob the Drag Queen]

Yeah. If this, if this were. If, if season 12 were my season, it would have ended two episodes ago.

This, this season's almost over, though. There's only five girls left. But I think they're like stretching out the episodes for, like, a couple more.

[Bob the Drag Queen]

Yeah, I hope they don't do that. Nobody go home with bullshit or we're gonna have a top five. I don't want no top five. I want a top three. I want to go to the FN with the top three. I want to focus on three people individually.

[Selena Estitties]

Yes. Because then there's four, and then there's always one girl fighting over third place. Lux and Mistress Stay fighting over third place.

Literally. Literally. And Anya Nerve is, like, she is the front runner now. She has three. Three wins at this point. I mean, as of this point, Anya Nerve has one of the best track records in Drag Race history. Like, she's legit one of the. She has one of the best track records on the show, but we are not quite there yet. But she doesn't want the girl to see her as high and mighty. And for some reason, they don't view her the way they view Susie Toot. They are still all viewing Susie Toot as the girl to beat, which is really odd to me because in my opinion, Jewel Sparkles is in second place and Susie first place.

I agree. I love Jules. I think she's killing it and not getting enough flowers. I think on the. In the competition,

when you lip sync, how many times did you lip sync before you went home?

[Selena Estitties]

Oh, my God. I lip synced against that girl. That girl. That girl. I sent all them home. I went lip syncing.

[Bob the Drag Queen]

You said three girls home.

I sent four girls.

I feel so bad for forgetting Amethyst Spice. Malaysia. And then I beat Lux in the Lollaparooza. And then Lucy, I got sent home. She didn't beat me, but I Got sent home.

Thank you. Do you know, like, I really. I. I don't know. I don't know if I've told you this. I think maybe I told you once, but I saw you perform in New York at the Monster. You were doing, like, a gospel number, and you baptized the twink.

And, uh, yeah, I was doing a save from a Smokey Joe's Cafe.

And I had never done drag before at that point. Like, I was not a drag queen. I was just trying to be a male dancer in California. And then I had gone to New York for the first time, and that's when I saw you. And I swear in my mind, RuPaul was in the audience watching you at that point. Cause I think this was before you were on Drag Race.

[Bob the Drag Queen]

No, the night that RuPaul watched me was a different night. Cause I remember. Cause that day, I remember I was. I mean, I did the number so many times. I might have been wearing, like, this. This, like, red velvet coat. What was. Do you know what I was wearing that day?

[Selena Estitties]

You were wearing, like, a green white sundress, like a pastor white dress or

something like that with, like. With, like, a white crazy wig and glitter. That was the night RuPaul was there. That's crazy.

It was this. I was like. I swear, I knew. I knew RuPaul was in the room.

It was this onesie that I made. Yeah, that's crazy. Yeah. RuPaul was there.

The synergy of that is crazy, because I remember watching her sneak up the stairs and leaving, and she was wearing, like, a blue collar dress with a black leather coat, and I was like, looks like RuPaul or is just like, a crackhead. It was one or the other.

RuPaul or a crackhead. It's crazy. But, yeah, not me. You and RuPaul all hanging out in the same room together.

Isn't that so crazy?

Like, well, it was me, you, RuPaul. I think it was Vicki Milanez that night.

I was there because Lady Cine Gaga was performing, and she had just started drag. Do you remember her, Moshell?

Yeah, I remember. Ladies and Gaga. Yeah. Yeah.

That's why I was there, because she was performing. Yes. She lives here now. She's the leather queen dominating the leather scene out here. Like, hosting fisting parties, I think.

I think she's just. I think she's just a great host

Can I tell you boys eating. I was in D.C. and I was at a meet and greet. And these, these two. These two boys were a couple were hot. And I was like, well, so what's going on after the show? Like, are there any, you know, parties or after parties or anything? And like, they're like, oh, do you play? Do you like, do you play handball? And I was like, oh, is there like a varsity gay league that's having an after party? They're like, no, no, no, handball. And I said, oh, I never heard it like that before. And I was like. I was like, oh, I don't partake. And they were like, oh, well, you're from la. Do you know punch party? It's hosted by our king Moshe. And I was like, oh, my God, I had no idea.

Oh, I lose my fist all the time. When I was in P town for the first time last year. The dick doc. I lost my hand every night. And I was like, how are these boys not have like sandcastles inside themselves with this.

Yes, every time. And I know this one drag queen tells this joke once about, like putting two hands and trying to clap and saying that it's tight or something.

Wait, y' all don't realize this has big hands. When she had those big gloves on, they weren't stuffed. Those are the size of her hands. That's the size of this bitch's big man hands.

Yes, I know I do. I can never get like this. They always struggle with my knuckles. But I don't fist on purpose. It's always like a surprise.

I'm like, I hate when I accidentally fit someone. Anyway, back to what we're talking about. So Susie toot is actually doing her. I think Susie is low key, eating the girls up. When they. When she talks about the who should go home, she was like, it should be who should go home, not who do you want to go home? And honestly, Susie is right. They copped out. Their answers were weak, lame, sad, and sorry. Anya and Susie are the only ones who answer properly. Everyone else gave a lame ass pageant answer that's supposed to. It's like, it's like a fake bad bitch answer. You're trying to be a bad bitch, but you're really giving a pageant answer. And honestly, I do not. I don't think it's fierce. It's so lame. It's so lame. Basically, Saying they're basically all saying Susie's better than us.

Which is weird because, like, I don't feel like she's dominating in the competition. Right. Like, I don't know how they see her as such competition.

[Bob the Drag Queen]

Rent free. Susie Toot lives rent free in these girls minds. I'm glad that all you and Susie too, called out this, this, this like, cop out answer. But then it was weird when I, I'm gonna ask a question and it's not me being Shade, it's a genuine question. Okay. Was there a point in the competition where you were like, I'm not winning?

[Selena Estitties]

Oh, 1,000%. I could tell after my first time lip syncing that I was not being, I was not one of their girls, you know what I mean? And from there I had to kind of, I felt like I was playing because I'm a big Survivor, Big Brother fan. I like to play the social game of it all. So, like, from there I was like, how do I maneuver through here and stay as long as I could? And I became the therapist. Like, I was like, come cry on my shoulder. Come cry on my shoulder. Very sponsor, you know, sobriety Vi. And then all the girls will cry on my shoulder. Which, you know, you'll love her. She's sober, Sabrina. So I feel like I play the game that way in order to stay a little longer and then get to showcase, like, what I actually was capable of and the challenges from there on. So.

And in the lip syncs, quite frankly, which.

Yes. Which I didn't realize while I was there. While I was there, I was like, why am I in the bottom?

It doesn't make sense.

But I was like, oh, wait, I'm showcasing what I'm good at and then getting booked because of it. So, you know, if I, if I, if I could tell. Any advice to any future rug girl or rug girl right now is just to, like, lean into whatever happens there, you know what I mean? Like, I wish I would have leaned in a little more while I was there instead of feeling so, like, what's going on? So I got in my own way.

I asked you that question to ask this. Does Sam Star think she's winning Drag Race?

I think she, I think she thinks she could win.

For the past, like, eight episodes, Lexi's plan has been to either avoid Susie Toot or team up with Anya Nerve to get some of their shine. Instead of being like, just be good. Which is great. Cause I actually think that what I do think their teamwork helped Lexi with a win this time. But it was. It was Lexi herself. It was. Lexi got the win. She's in her head so much, it's crazy. That girl's head is a dangerous neighborhood, and she should not be there by herself.

It is literally a letter from George Washington. But they'll be like, my grandpa passed this down from generation to generation. It must be worth. Mentally, this is worth $3.

Like, I would go to New York and study the queens there and bring that vibe back to la, because there's not a lot of hosting on a microphone for two hours by yourself here in la. Like, that doesn't really exist. And I created that and carved that out for myself here to be able to be good at that, because I saw that it worked in New York and I lived for it. But that doesn't happen out here in la. And I know she's from Tennessee or Chattanooga or something, but she lived in LA for a while. That's how I known her beforehand. And yeah, drag shows here, you don't really get that in la unless you're Morgan.

I don't know if I misheard this, but I went to Barracuda last night, the closing of Barracuda and Rip to Barracuda. I think there's only one show left in New York in Manhattan that is hosted by one person doing the show by themselves, and it's Keja Carr.

I feel like there was. There was a shift lately in New York drag, where it became about these dancing queen girl groups, I feel. And like the Assassin Kids.

And a lot of that started happening. But I remember back in the day, like I used to go and I would watch Pixie. I would see the help. I would see, like Brita show. It was just.

Well, a lot of us got snatched up by drag. Race Me, Brita, Filter, Monet X Change, Bianca Del Rio, and then Sherry vine and Jackie B moved to LA. Peppermint got snatched up by RuPaul's Drag Race. So a lot of the girls who are doing these, these like one woman shows just got scooped up and, you know, put into The. The world of drag at large.

And again, I think, going back to, like, this, this season in particular, it's a lot of young queens who don't have a lot of experience to begin with, so no way are they gonna have their own show with the microphone where they can come up with this kind of stuff, which I think is a very. I love challenges on Drag Race that also are very practical with, like, drag outside in the real world. And I feel like this is very much that vibe, and I. I love when a challenge allows for us to, like, really utilize real talents that we use in real life on the show.

Well, speaking of talents we use in real life, let's say this, so. And drag outside in the real world. And monologues. They're writing their own monologues like this Charisma unique and nerve. The charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent Monologues.

You know, it stands for cunt Monologues, like vagina. It took me so long to realize that.

What you mean from this episode specifically?

And then later on, they're describ. Like, Susie's describing the spelling bee story, and she's like, she's. The fact that she's literally describing the Snatch Game, she goes, I lost because I was too confident. That's literally Snatch Game. You went in too confident. You. And you didn't. And you didn't. You landed near the bottom because you were too confident going in. And she. She didn't want to take anyone, but she's like, well, I'm not worried. It's going to be great. And it was not great.

That seems to be her vibe, right? Like, do you think she's aware that she's being overly confident? Or you think that's just how she is in real life? Like, because everyone's telling her there's a sense of putting on you Know, sometimes for girls when they're there and Sam's putting on.

Sam's confidence is put on. Susie's confidence is real. And it. And. And everyone keeps telling her. So I think. I think she's aware.

Would you consider it delusional or not?

I think Susie Suit is actually a front runner in the competition. But her level of dilute. But okay, not necessarily. Like, I'm going to eat this up and I'm going to win. And she doesn't. And she doesn't deserve the win. Like, she really like her Snatch Game delusion.

But on other stuff, she's not delusional because she is quite creative. She's very smart. She's very cerebral. She likes to say. So I think that in some areas, she's completely justified in her confidence. In some areas, it's like, delusion. Yeah. But also guilty.

But also, we're drag queens. We're delusional, bitch. We kind of gotta be in order to, like, kind of survive, you know, Literally.

Another great idea would be if the. If it's unhemmed, if the hem is undone, if the zipper is exposed, if it's got one of those wiggly zippers in the background where your spine's all wiggly.

And I think that she's realizing that now, and I think that she's. I hope that she's, like, seeing the value in having that be part of your. Your. Your drag, you know, bag of tricks besides just standing around being pretty. Because she's actually a pretty good performer. She had, obviously, a great lip syncer. She was even good at the row. So she's a pretty. She's a pretty good writer when it. When the time. When time comes forward, I think that she should lean into it more. And she did a good job on the thing season.

I'm very excited after being on Drag Race is watching how girls navigate after their season, because I think for a lot of girls, getting on Drag Race is the goal, and then they get there, and then, you know, the goal's done.
