We have never seen people fighting for Black Lives Matter in the way that we did in 2020. It has never happened ever. So black history is always happening. And I think all black Americans experience black history. But growing up in Saint L, I didn't have a connection to black history. Black History Month is not a thing in St. Lucia.

So, I mean, I think growing up, I thought that it was. Well, it's really interesting because I am African American, meaning my family is. I am the descendants of American slaves, and I am from the South. So there's a lot of. There was definitely slavery in my family. And you are a first generation American.
