B
And I'm Monet X James, and this is simply rivalry. On this week's episode, Bob is back on the podcast.
A
We find out that the Wonder Twins were actually black.
B
And we find out what made Bob say this.
A
The war on corny. And honestly, the war on corny is mostly fought by people who are, like, afraid to be corny. And we found out what made Monet say this.
B
Well, Bob hates the way I run game nights. He has all these notes about my game nights. Hi. You should have. How you not gonna. We were just doing a song.
A
Yeah, like five minutes ago. We've done so much between me.
B
We've been apart for so long. We're no longer in tape.
A
Yeah, too far apart. Oh, my God, that hurt. Wonder Twins, deactivate.
B
Did you watch it?
A
No.
B
What's that? What? That's D.C. yes, there were.
A
D.C. is.
B
It is DC. Wonder Twins.
A
Wonder Twins.
B
I was activated.
A
I don't know what the Wonder Twins look like.
B
One was black.
A
They're twins.
B
No, but I think it was one of those things that. To like to be. I think one was black. I think the boy was black. I remember having, like, an afro.
D
I don't.
B
Or like a Caesar.
A
Well, then they have to both be black.
B
I think it's one of those things. They try to make it politically. Politically correct.
A
They're both white. Are they completely.
B
Well, I think one was.
A
Girl.
B
He is light skinned. That is a light. That is a black hair.
A
That is.
B
That man is black.
A
Monet, how is this person black?
B
I don't remember that. The one you just showed me before is the one I remember.
A
That guy's not black. Let me see.
B
Yeah, he not black.
A
I think you just created this in
B
your brain and my brain. I remember the Wonder Twins being black for sure. No, they're not.
A
Maybe.
B
What cartoon was that they were in?
A
Wonder Twins.
B
They had a whole series. Just in one. No, they were like a thing. No, they were. They were two heroes in, like, a big cartoon.
A
Well, they had their own TV show. Wonder Twins is on tv.
D
The all new Super Friends Hour.
B
Super Friends. There we go. Yes.
A
Wonder Fit Twins TV show.
B
I'm sure the TV show, but I'm talking about that. The.
A
The.
B
The. The Hanna Barbera one. Or it was on USA Network.
A
Oh, how do they. Zan and Jaina.
B
Yeah, I was gonna say Xan and Zed.
A
Zan and Zed. Black folks love a Z name.
D
Z.
A
Did you go to school with any people with Z names?
B
No, but my birth mother's middle name is Zenith. Zenith.
A
Wait, is it Zenith or Xena?
B
I don't know. Yeah. Shock. I don't know Jean's middle name.
A
I don't know my dad's middle name either.
D
Really?
B
Does he have one?
A
And I talk to him all the time. I think. Well, my dad has two names, and one of them might be his middle name, but I don't know which. I think his name. Well, I don't want to say his full name on the Internet, but I don't know if my dad. I should text him and say, what's your middle name? Like I should know that soon. Yeah, Right?
B
I would.
A
It feels good to be back.
B
It is so good to be back. I miss you so much.
A
Guess who's back. Back again. I've just been doing a lot of stuff. Obviously, I took a little break because of my bereavement for my mother. And then I also went to go film The Traitors Season 3. And now I'm just, you know, back here with a. With a beard for. For one more day.
B
Leave Jacob alone. Leave Jacob out of this.
A
How's Jacob a beard to make people think I'm gay? Because the truth is, I'm really straight this whole time. I hate guys. Not into them at all. That'd be kind of iconic, actually.
B
Okay, I need to talk about this hair ghost vibe or one of his weird. His what? I said, here goes Bob. One of his weird.
A
Oh, you say hair here. I was like, hair, Bob. I forget that your Hair is your hair.
B
You know, I have to say, the entire time Trinity has been subbing for you, there have been no jokes about my personality.
A
Well, then, I mean, start your own podcast with her. I encourage it. You should. It'd probably be great.
B
You're such a bitch. I said, hair goes bob.
A
Also, I wasn't. It's not about your personality.
B
I just literally.
A
I literally thought you said hair. I was like. I was like, oh, because you've been talking about my hair all day. Because you made fun of me. Because I went to the barber to get my haircut today. Okay, y'.
B
All. I said, The entire time I've known you, I have never known you go to the barber. Not one time. That's besides Mickey, when you got the. The piece.
A
That's not true. I used to date a barber, and he would do my hair.
B
Oh. Oh, I didn't know. I didn't know that that day they did that.
A
Yeah, he was cutting my hair for me and trimming my beard for me, so I didn't go.
B
Well, you really had a beard, though.
A
Yeah. So I didn't go to a barber during that time. And whenever I have a beard, I go to the barber because they can. They're better at shaping it up than I am.
B
Well, I tell what you need to do. I tell everyone, this is a life hack, y'.
D
All.
B
If you are someone who likes. Who grows facial hair and you want it to look like it's always shaped up. I got laser hair removal in the shape of my beard. So when my beard grows in, it grows in like, I got it done. It's. It's. It's life changing.
A
I don't want to go get laser hair removal. I'm not. I'm not interested in this procedure at all.
B
You want to tell me more about that?
A
It seems painful, and it seems like it gives a lot of irritation to the skin. People I know who are putting ice on their skin and stuff, and I just don't have a beard often enough for that to matter. And when it does matter, I just. I just either give it a little trim myself, or I just go down to the barbershop. I'm. When I. I mean, I don't have hair, so I'm in and out of the. I was in the barbershop for, like, 15 minutes today, so it's. And I. And it is so rare that I even grow a beard that I'm just like. It's really not that big of a deal to me.
B
Well, for those of us who have ingrown hair issues. Laser hair removal is amazing in stopping that. So I used to get really bad ingrown hairs on my. On Right. My neckline hair. And getting lase laser hair remover there has completely stopped it.
A
I get really bad ingrown hair. That's when I use a razor, when I use clippers.
B
I don't get any grown hair, no clippers. And everything used to happen to me. And when I got laser hair removal there, it stopped 100% because it changes the texture of the hair a little bit. So the hair isn't as thick and as textured too, so it's not curling as much. So it changed it.
A
Yeah, I just don't have that many of those problems.
B
Must be nice not having grown hairs.
A
I didn't say I don't get them, but I don't get them the way you were getting them. So it does feel nice. And I was like, well, I'm just. And I'm just. I'm just not growing a beard enough to justify spending that much money and time and, like, burning my face.
B
And do you know what I'm gonna do? And I saw. And when I.
A
When I saw you're get your hole shaped like a spade. The hair on your hole.
B
What?
A
Shaped like a spade?
B
Why would I do that?
A
I'm just guessing. Was that not it?
B
You're such a freak. I'm gonna get. Now I forgot what I was gonna say. And you know, I've been taking ginkgo biloba.
A
Have you really?
B
I've been taking it for, like, you
A
remember to tell me. That's so impressive.
B
It is not helping. It is not helping, girl.
A
Okay, so you were talking about laser hair removal.
B
Oh, because when I first started getting. So everyone, there's a video on my. On my. On my YouTube a few years ago, I posted of my really traumatic laser hair removals situation in New York.
A
And this is part of why I don't want to get laser hair.
B
What is. It was also before the technology had changed and they would.
A
They admit it was the 70s.
B
It was eight years ago. And laser hair technology was a lot of time. And then. So I got really bad third laser burns.
A
Third degree.
B
Not third degree.
A
Oh, you did say third degree.
B
I know. I think it was like.
A
I was like, Jesus Christ.
B
No, I got on my chest. There's a picture of it on my chest. There's a picture of it. There's a picture of it right there. You're literally looking at it right here.
A
I don't say anything
B
Very bad second degree words on my chest. So I was really. So when I started getting this new place in la, I'm not gonna say their name. We're not. We're not.
A
Yeah, no, don't give them that one for you unless they give you some money.
B
They're sure the hill ain't. And anyway, so I asked him, I was like, hey, do you guys do the procedure of getting laser removal? I want to get my entire head done. They were like, we don't do that. I was like, why? Like, we just don't do that. And I found a place in la, a lot of places actually, that do the full hair. I'm gonna. I'm getting my full scalp done.
A
I feel like there. I feel like when people are like, like, there's a T. I went. I tried to get my palms tattooed years ago, and multiple tattoo artists were like, we. I'm not doing that. I'm not going to test it.
D
Your palms.
A
Multiple people were like, I'm not tattooing your palms. And then one person told me, and if you find someone who's willing to do it, do not go to them. I found someone who's willing to. And then I asked around, people were like, yeah, palm tattoos are. They. They get infected, they fade so fast. And they were like, just do not tattoo your palm. So if you find someone who will to do it, that's probably a red flag. But I don't know about this hair removal thing.
B
No, there are a lot of people doing testimonials and stuff. I think that again, I think technology shifts a little bit and there's a different way, a method of doing, doing it that that gives you really good results. And again, just like any laser hair removal, you get a bunch of sessions and you then you have to go. It does not stop hair growth forever, it just slows it down. And so what you have to do is touch up. So even so, I have it from my neck all the way down to my. To my toes.
A
I got it under my eyebrows years ago. That's why I don't grow eyebrows. And.
B
And also there is a guy on Instagram that does hand tattoos. He's in the uk. I follow him. He's like, late.
A
I'm not saying no one does it, but they were like, if you find someone who's willing to tattoo your palms, they were like, don't go to them or.
B
Well, he does the whole thing where he does, like, he brings his clients back and they show you, like a year later, two years later, and like, Any tattoo, it does fade a little bit, but I guess it's like his. Like, everyone goes to him for this specific kind of tattoo, and his look good, so.
A
Would you ever get your palms tattooed?
B
There's nothing. No, there's nothing I want that bad.
A
I wanted to get the heels of my feet tattooed too.
B
I wanted.
A
I wanted iheartny and I peach ga. Oh, my God.
B
That's so corny.
A
Yeah, it's fierce right now. I have. I. I realize that there's something that I've. That I've been thinking about online lately, which is like the war on corny. And honestly, the war on corny is mostly fought by people who are, like, afraid to be corny. No, in my opinion, this is just my. My opinion. My, my. Do you think.
B
Do you think I'm someone who's afraid to be corny? I do pretty corny things sometimes, but I can recognize corniness in other people. That's the gift of the people who are corny.
A
I think that sometimes you are particularly diligent about how you're perceived by people. And if it seems cool or not, you better.
B
Word salad. That's you.
D
You fucking.
B
You. That was nasty work. That was nasty work. That was fucking good, bitch.
A
Nasty work is my new obsession. I love saying nasty work. I'm like, this is nasty work.
B
That was good. That was good. You took me to politics, nigga. You need to run for president. Like, I just think you're particularly diligent about your perceptions of how people have of you, the way that you perceive in the world.
A
You are so ridiculous. I appreciate the compliment. Was it. That's also one of the things where I'll say stuff and you always laugh at the way I say things. You're always like, why would you talk like that? I'm like, I don't know, girl. I just talk that way. Do you say ask or ask?
B
I say ask every time. Every time.
A
You never say ask.
B
I say ask. My mom also. My mom is one of those mom. You know, some people. Some people's parents, there's little things that they always like. It was like her thing. Like, she. That was something she was very passionate about.
A
How does she feel about, like, don't be.
B
I don't think that's something.
A
Like, don't be so. I mean, that's not proper grammar. Like, don't be. Blah, blah, blah.
B
My mom was a little bit of a. Of a. Of a.
A
Of a grandma whore.
D
Like.
B
Like, stuff like that.
A
Jesus, Jackie, I'm so sorry.
B
She'd be like, don't be. And she like, don't be. Wh. Like. And then I have to say it the right way.
A
Yeah. I grew up saying axe, and I still say axe to this day.
B
Like the body spray.
A
Like, I would say, like the. Like the tool or the body spray. Says a lot about you if you choose body spray. Were you an Axe body spray girl?
B
I was not, but I was.
A
No, I was Bod.
B
Oh, bod. I remember bod.
A
You remember bod? It sprayed like Windex. Did it. Bod had like a.
B
Did it really?
A
Yes. Bod had like a full on. It literally looked like Windex.
B
What came first, Bod or axe?
A
Probably Axe
B
high heels.
A
I'm trying to find a Bod body spray. Yes. Look, girl, it looks like Wendex.
B
That's crazy.
A
I forgot about bod. You're full on spraying yourself with straight up Windex.
B
Now. Would you do the spray or the stream?
A
I don't think it had a stream. I don't think it had a stream option. But just the idea of taking. And here's. There's a bottle of bod here now. Jay, we're not sending you the bottle of bod. Just Google your own bottle of bod. I just want to say I'm not sending you the bod, but just Google bod bottle, body spray. And that's the one. So if y' all don't see, that's all on Jay Defeo. Now. He's not gonna put it up there
B
just to be vindictive. No, he put it up there right now. Jay's right now that. That bot is spraying you.
A
Just bouncing all around my head, covering me in bod. But yeah, I was definitely one of those middle school boys who was wearing bod for sure.
B
I wore. Because my mom, when she was going on her little trips and stuff, she'd get me, like, the ones at the airports. I had a lot of joop. Do you ever have joop? I don't know if that's a. I don't know. I think that's a universal. I don't think that's West Indian.
A
Joop.
B
Joop. J, O, O, P. I'm screaming. It was in, like, a purple bottle with, like. I think I remember, like, teal writing on it. Jupe cologne. Oh, my God. I'm probably really.
A
This looks gay. This is jupe. This looks gay. I think your mom made you gay. I think you were straight until you put joop on joop, girl.
B
Joop.
A
And then curve.
B
Did you ever wear curve cologne from.
A
No. But I knew about Curve, though.
B
Curve. I used to have.
A
Oh, my God. Joop and Curve are right side by side. Girl. They used to be.
B
That's my boy. I got him.
A
What does Joop smell like? Can you describe it?
B
I don't remember at all. Oh, my God. I don't. I don't remember at all.
A
So Madonna has this scent that she wears all the time. It's called Portrait of a Lady.
B
By who?
A
I do not know, but it's like her favorite perfume. It's like Portrait of a Lady Portrait.
D
Dominique Rapion, Portrait of a Lady.
B
How much is one bottle, Jacob?
A
$2.95. There's one for this big one is 470.
B
The smaller one is 295. Okay, that's. That's on the same price point as something. Like, you can get a rose, black
D
currant, raspberry patchouli, sandalwood, and read more.
A
And I really like the smell.
B
Like, what. Can you. Can you describe what it smells like?
A
Rosemary, black currant, patchouli.
B
Okay. Are you. Are you afraid?
A
Because, well, you don't. I don't like fragrance.
B
Right, you don't like fragrance.
A
But I did like Portrait of a
B
Lady, but, like, you know, like, I follow Jackie Aina on. On. Aina. Aina on. On TikTok. And she's like a big fragrance person. And she's. And like, even people, people who love fragrances, like, oh, yeah, it has sandalwood.
A
No, sub.
B
I cannot smell my body.
A
But also, you think that all liquor tastes the same. And the olfactories, the taste and the. And the.
B
Are they one?
A
The taste and smell are, like, very connected. Yeah, Yeah.
B
I don't. I don't. I mean, I just know I like it or I don't. I'm not like, oh, yeah, I smell notes of honey and like, just a
A
little bit of desperate, like, I don't.
B
It's just all smell.
A
I also have a. I don't have a great sense of smell.
B
But you have a taste.
A
I don't have a great sense of taste either. I mean, clear,
B
you walked into that one.
A
Let's take a break and we'll talk about what you have taste in.
C

And we're back. I bought a spy pen.
B
This is what I was trying to say earlier. We got.
A
I bought a spy pen. Why? Well, I don't know, and I don't know what I'm going to use it for, but this pen apparently will, like, record stuff.
D
Oh, you also need to tell her about the nail thing.
A
Oh, and I. Oh, so I have a nail.
B
Can we talk about the pen first?
A
Yeah, yeah. So I bought. It's called Don't Give them Free Press. Oh, then, yeah, bleep that out. But I feel like we should, like, use these. Or like, I should post a video where I try to use my pen, but I have to afterwards, whoever I use it on, I'll tell them and then I'll try to like, I'll post the video, but I will let you know that I. That I spied on you with my pen.
B
Okay, so what, what is this? I think the charger maybe, or the charging bank.
D
It's a box.
A
You can open it up, right? Wait, no. Mobile. What the fuck is this? I guess it's Power Bank. It says Power bank for the pen and then it has all these pin caps on it.
B
So I, So, okay, so the goal is so, so the. So I just got a promotion at work. Like Monet, congratulations on this.
A
No, no, no, the goal is more like this. You put the pin in your pocket. Uh huh. But imagine a shirt with a pocket. And I'm like, so, Colonel Sanders, tell me, what is the secret recipe?
B
How many herbs?
A
How many? Oh, and can you name them and just, you don't have to write them down, just say them out loud. And I just pull my chest out and then I take this home and, and then I guess I, I, I don't really know how. I mean, I literally just opened it, so I'm not particularly sure how to use it, but I'm really excited about it.
B
Who do you plan on spying on?
A
If I, if I use it on anyone, I am going to like, tell them afterwards so I can post it online. I'm not gonna, Maybe I'll do it at the next, at the next. The next infamous Monet's trying to compete with RuPaul with her little game night parties.
B
Ooh, yeah.
A
Do you want to. Do you think that you Can I could use this on tr.
B
Oh, my God. All of it fears.
A
Anyway, do you think that your game nights are better than RuPaul's?
B
Okay, first of all, we don't know for sure.
A
RuPaul.
B
No. No one that we know has been to this game night. Maybe we would never has. Has Madonna gone to one?
A
Madonna and RuPaul, I don't think they get along. Oh, RuPaul was kind of talking trash about her in an interview once.
B
Really?
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, yikes.
A
I don't think. I don't think Madonna think about RuPaul.
B
Right.
A
But I think RuPaul thinks about Madonna. Wow.
B
You gonna invite. I guess those both hands have offended you.
A
Well, I mean, RuPaul just said some. Said some stuff about her in an interview and she never said anything about him in interview, so.
B
Right.
A
You know what I mean?
B
If my game. Well, so if y' all have not heard, apparently RuPaul has these like legendary game nights where a lot of celebrities, no phones and nothing are around. And they do like really? RuPaul loves dirty charades, but there's no phones law. That's what I've heard. I don't know if that's true.
A
So how are you going to. How are we going to. Okay, so I told my. I want to co collab on a. I want to co produce a game night.
B
Bob hates the way I run game nights. He has all these notes about my game night.
A
All these notes. I said one. I said one thing. I said I feel like a game night. We get there and then we decide what we're going to do. And there's a lot of deciding, but I feel like if the host of the night has like kind of made an itinerary and we. Because I'm always down for whatever game I want to play. I also don't know half the game. So I'm playing Take a ride or Trip to Ride or Tokyo Town King of Tokyo. Tokyo. I'm playing Secret Hler. I'm playing.
B
Yeah.
A
It's offensive to some people. And Werewolf.
B
Oh, yeah. Werewolf.
A
So I'm. I'll play these games for sure, but because I don't know anything about the games, especially if you're someone who comes to game night just for the. The camaraderie and the fellowship. Then I'm like, guide me through the evening. So I think that Monet and I could co produce. Co collaborate on a game night. But it has to be your place, though. Your place is bigger too.
B
Yeah.
D
I have a question. Yeah. You're going to be part of this too, girl.
A
No, Andy can't be part of the planning. No, it's just me and Monet planning.
B
Did I think you and Andy should plan it?
A
No, I don't want to plan with Andy.
B
Like, you have a lot of feelings.
A
I don't want to plan on game night with Andy. And he's also a sore loser. No shade to Andy, but I mean, not as. Not as bad as one of our friends. Boyfriends.
B
Oh, wait.
A
Oh, into the mic. You put the mic by your head.
B
I never played with him, so I haven't either.
A
But I've heard legendary legend stories. Yeah, no, it's wild.
B
Really crazy.
C
Your.
A
Him and Patrick got into it. You know, Patrick's five' four and Joe's like six' five. They are like, toe to toe.
D
We got into it playing Mario Party.
B
Oh, my God. Not Mario Party, girl. Okay, well, I'm definitely down to do the weekend plan.
A
We can let Andy be part of the planet, but he needs to know that he's taking a backseat on this planning. This is a. This is a Bob and Mo. This is a bomo clap.
B
Yes. Oh, doubt one. One that actually.
A
Look out for some more bomo coming this. Coming this fall. Shout out to Kim and Triggs. You run a makeup company is crazy.
B
Hello. I was going to say.
A
Oh, okay.
B
So recently, so Kim started inviting me to this. Her friends, they play this thing called Blood on the Clock Tower. And that is a lot. I've been to. I've done to. I've been to three of them now. And also I was inviting you guys on Sunday because there's a new one on Sunday, but you're not going to be around.
A
So you played at Kim's place?
B
No, it's like at someone's house. Like we did once in East Hollywood. And this other guy's house.
A
Is it a board game?
B
No, it's a story game. So everyone, like, has these different roles and you, like. There's one like, big. Almost like. Almost like Dungeons and Dragons, but it's a little different. It's like a murder mystery kind of situation. There are demons involved, and everyone has this. It's a lot of fun. You have to come to one. It's called Blood on the Clock Time.
A
I would say this Traders was such a fun experience to do that I kept thinking to myself, I feel like I would pay to have a trader's experience.
B
Really?
A
Yeah. Like, if I could have, like, a weekend where I get, like, room and
B
board, oh, I would too.
A
And, like, costumes and meals And I get to play this game with my friends or even with strangers.
B
That sounds fun. Wait, but why. Why. Why do you need costumes if it makes it fun?
C
Like.
A
Like, if it's like a. If it's like a murder. Murder mystery in a mansion, and it's like the movie star, the aristocrat, the professor, so you have to play this
B
role and dress like it.
A
I mean, you don't have to do the character, but just wearing the costume is enough to, like, have fun. And some people who are more into it will be like, you know, I am the. The British royal. There actually was a British royal at the trader's place.
D
They didn't announce him.
A
Yes, they did. Lord Ivor is announced.
D
No, they didn't.
A
Yes, they did. I'm not. This is not a question. Lord Ivor is absolutely announced. Lord. I was 100% announced. Shout out to Lord Ivor Iva, as he pronounces it.
B
In season two, the guy. John. When the British people play. It was in season two.
A
Oh, John, you are a despicable damsel of. You are a despicable damsel of danger and debauchery. But he was a politician. I think that's why he was doing all that.
B
Okay. Yeah. So. Okay, So, I mean, I would. I agree. I would absolutely pay to have a trader's experience that. I love the show. I would love to do that. That sounds fun.
A
But also, I'm thinking, like, maybe I should.
B
Maybe I should have, but not.
A
It wouldn't be. It's not a trader. It's just a murder mystery experience. It's a murder mystery experience. It actually has nothing. I was actually planning it before I was going on training, and then. And then y' all called me. That's the. That's the. That's what makes it so crazy. You know what I'm talking about?
B
Yeah, I remember you telling me months ago.
A
Yeah, I said it, like, actually, it was about a year and two months. Two months ago.
B
Yeah. Ye.
A
Which is so crazy.
B
Yeah, it was.
A
When Pep went on, I got the inspiration. Yes, yes. Pep.
D
Our.
A
Our queen we stand.
B
But when Pep went on a game show, not anything.
A
Yeah, no, it was. It was. I think it was a family feud.
B
Yeah, that's the one she went on.
A
And I was like, what? A murder mystery?
B
That sounds great.
D
Yeah.
A
But anyway, I'm thinking, like, what if I produced a murder mystery? I have to, like, rent a mansion, get a caterer, get some costumes, and then get. Like. I would. I would want to play with, like, 10 people for two days?
B
Yeah, I think 10 sounds good.
A
Is two days too long? Are you like, I gotta go.
B
I think it should be three. I think it should be 30 days Saturday night.
A
Then it gets so expensive. So how many nights are you sleeping there?
B
Three. Thursday, Friday, Saturday. And you go home Sunday.
A
This is more expensive than you think it should be. Ten people still.
B
Yeah. Cause then what? Because then you get down to a bottom four because you send six people home. And since that little fire moment at the end, you need to have at least four people.
A
But it has to be where only one person can. There's no fire moment in my murder mystery. It's something. It's a crock pot throwing ingredients in the crock pot. But the question, like, I want to make it where only one person can win, because I think what makes it cool is that that person just gets their money back.
B
Oh, that's good.
D
But what happens if everybody on the top four is not one of the deceivers?
A
Then we'll have to just make a version of the game where only one person can win. I mean, I'm not going to. Obviously. I'm not going to do exactly what they're doing. I'm going to. But there is a way to make it a version where only one person's gonna win, right? There has to be.
B
Yeah. Yeah. We haven't thought it out, but also, this is very vibe. We played Ticket. We played King of Tokyo one time.
A
I wanna point out that Monet and I, we have the full game. It's written out.
B
Yeah. We just gotta make the cards.
A
We can make cards that are not animated. There's no graphics on them. No illustrations. Illustrations. Had a nosebleed trying to come up with that word. We can make a version that don't have any
B
illustrations. Oh, my God.
A
What is happening?
B
I need some ginkgo.
A
B Loba.
B
It don't work, girl.
A
Yeah, we can make a version that has no illustrations on it just to. Just to get a chance to play it. Yeah, it's fun. Our version was so fun. I can't believe we haven't played that game since we played it in.
B
I mean, I played it. I played it.
A
That's. Without me.
B
I can only play King of Tokyo with you.
A
I mean, we came. I've been here two game nights since then, and you refuse to play the game. Y' all refuse to play King of Tokyo when I'm in the house.
B
We played it last time. It was myself, Andy, Selena, Godoy, Kevin and myself.
A
Six of us.
B
Next time, though. Well, and this time we played King of New York, which is harder. There's like a bunch of new rules that makes it really hard. I like King of Tokyo more.
A
We gotta release our version.
B
I'm down to release it.
A
What was it called? It's in my Google Drive.
B
Queen of the Ballroom or Queen of the.
A
Queen of pageant. Queen.
B
Queen of the stage.
A
Was it Queen of the stage or something like that? Maybe if I type in King of Tokyo knockoff, which actually is not actually. It's actually not like King of Tokyo. It's actually us just stealing every idea.
B
But I mean, it's in a Google Drive somewhere for sure. We put it. We. We.
A
I can't put Queen in my Google Drive and find it. Like, there's so much fucking.
B
Well, maybe the date would help. This was. This was January 22nd.
A
Pageant.
B
Game. Pageant.
A
There it is. I have every single one.
B
We.
A
By the. We stayed up till like 4. 4 o' clock in the morning.
B
The sun was coming up.
A
Look at that.
B
That's wild.
A
Now. Not that I. I also do not remember how to play King of Tokyo,
B
but once you play it again, you'll be like, oh, Taylor and his partner and like, their friends came over and they played it and they obsessed. But they went home, they bought it, and they played all the time.
A
I think Marvin would want to play, too.
D
Marvin.
B
Oh, my God. Would Marvin come to a game night?
A
Marvin's coming tonight.
B
We can ask him. Marvin.
A
Marvin is supposed to be on his way here right now.
B
How many people. All right. For a game. See, this is why I always struggle
A
with the amount of people hold my hand. So we're gonna do. We're gonna do. We're gonna test run my murder mystery experience at your house.
B
Okay. In one night.
A
Can we do a sleepover?
B
I'm down. I have.
A
I have extra bedrooms, so me and Jake can sleep in one room.
B
Andy and I.
D
One room.
B
We have. Sleep in the drag room. We have. We have.
A
It'd be cool, right?
B
We have one of the. Then someone can sleep in the other guest room and someone can sleep in Andy. We have a bed.
A
Yeah, we're only doing. Yeah, that's. Oh, my God, this would be so fun. And then we need one person to, like, be the host who's not playing the game. The game master, basically.
B
We can get that.
A
Oh, my God, this is so funny. You let us sleep over for real?
B
Yes. I would love that.
A
We have to cook breakfast. We have to, like, food is part of it. Like, food is an integral part of the game.
B
I know. Yes, but who's. We just hire a chef for the
A
weekend or just Uber eats everything. Like, the pizza's here. I mean, we're low key over od', ing, but we can be like, the pizza's here, girl. Everyone enjoy your fucking pizza. I doubt, but there's something about.
B
I mean, Kim would definitely play too.
A
You think she'd be into it like that, though?
B
Yes. Kim and Chef Jean.
A
Oh, the guy who does her podcast?
B
Yeah.
A
Have you ever. Oh, he.
B
I love Chef Jean.
A
He's gonna be funny about the food. Like, girl, we're eating Domino's. I don't want to hear no shit about that.
B
No, Chef John is not like that.
A
My brother's a chef, and he's kind
B
of snooty about food.
A
I'm like, I'm trying to. Can I just eat Domino's without you? The thing is, like, when you like Domino's, you just have to, like, fight for your place in the world every day. Like, when. When, especially in New York City, people want eat these little mom and pop shop. I have to, like, advocate for myself when it's like. It's like when someone takes me in the bubbles green, I'm like, every time someone. A new person takes me in the bubbles green, I have to, like, fight for my life. Why? I have a Samsung, and I don't want to fight. I just want to eat my fucking dominoes without being judged.
B
Well, Andy's like that. I tell him, oh, yeah, I love Domino's pizza. He's like, what's wrong with you? I was like, donald's is good. A thin crust with pepperoni and bacon on it is.
A
But also, that's why last time I was at your house, I had to eat that crazy ass fucking pepperoni pizza. That shit was crazy.
B
It's good, though.
A
It is good, but it was a little intense. And also, the pepperonis are curled up like baloney that doesn't get cut. And also, Andy, it was so filled, I could only eat, like, one or two pieces.
B
Baby, you know who?
A
You know who. Hungry Hungry Hippo.
D
Andy.
A
I was like, how is Andy? There are moments where I hang out with y', all, and I'm like, I don't know how Andy is capable of eating this much food. It is genuinely impressive. Are you never shocked by how much he can eat?
B
I am. Andy's also the type of person we go out to eat and everyone will finish their food. If you have little, Andy will eat everyone else.
A
Andy will eat your food. Andy will be like, you gonna Finish your corporate.
B
Literally, you go, what is your corporate?
A
Andy would ask me. I'm like, there is just. It's just pizza crust. He's like, and I want it.
B
And he wants it. And he finished everyone's plate.
A
That is kind of crazy.
B
It's insane. When we first started. When we first started dating, our first couple dates, man, I was like, no, you can have it. And then I just learned to.
A
And that was literally me with my mom's food. As a kid, my mom would never finish her meals ever. I don't think I've ever seen my mom finish a meal in my life.
B
Really?
A
She never had a huge appetite. Shout out to my mom. And then I would just eat all her fucking food all the time.
B
I mean, but that's cute. Doing a kid to her mom, to your mom. Not on a date. And you're like, are you finished with that?
A
Not first date.
B
I think it was the first date.
A
That's honestly iconic. He's showing you who he really is. That's actually very. That takes a lot of courage to
B
do that on your first date, I guess. Does it?
A
I mean, it worked on you. Look at you, still around. Must have done something. Cause you nuzzled up.
B
Okay, so I'm down to do this. I'm down to do this. Game night. Okay, so we're saying Bob and Jacob, Kevin and Andy.
A
There are no teams, though.
B
Yeah.
A
But just the people in body.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
Kim, Mikey.
B
Mikey, Kim, Mikey.
A
If Rob's in town, he's always in LA. Marvin.
B
Marvin Brown at 7.
A
I would invite some of the people who are on trade up there. Might be triggered. Girl, how?
B
Also, I don't have that many. The reason we're doing, like, people that so can sleep, I only have, what, four bedrooms and a drag room. That's true.
A
Naomi and. I need to call Naomi back.
B
I keep.
A
Every time Naomi calls me, I'm on the phone with someone and I keep being like, oh, shit, I'm gonna call you back. I need to call Naomi back. I'm saying right now. By the time this airs, I will have already talked to Naomi.
B
Let's take a break. I mean. Cause she. She hit me up about you. So I gotta tell you what she said first. You may not want to call her back is what I'm trying. And we're back. So Marvin Brown. Marvin choreographed, if anyone saw me and Bob, the Civil Rivalry live show, like, with Juicy Couture. Marvin choreographed that entire show.
A
Marvin also directed my music video, Black.
B
Yes.
A
And Marvin was the creative director for Season Two of we're here.
B
And Marvin has created director for a lot of. Like. Like, bts. Like a lot of amazing. I mean, Marvin is this tall, beautiful black man, but also just the biggest bottom.
A
No, Marvin's not a bottom.
B
He's not.
A
No, Marvin's not a bottom. That birthday outfit that he wore with
B
the mesh on his.
A
Marvin's one of those tops.
B
Really.
A
Advertising, but not selling anything. False. False advertising.
B
He has a great body and he deserves to show it. Show it off as much as he wants to.
A
No, Marvin falls advertises for sure.
B
I thought Mar was he. I was like, oh, okay. I see who you are.
A
And Marvin's tall. Marvin's taller than me.
B
Yeah, Marvin is like 6 foot 3. I want to say 6.
A
6, 3, 6, 4. Somewhere. Somewhere there. I don't know. Taller than me, though.
B
Anyway, Marvin came through for. Marvin came through for me because I did G A Y. Jeremy. Jeremy, by the way, he wants us to come and do. He was like, I want you and Bob to please, Please. Having the siblings to do New Year's Eve at G A Y would be everything. I was like, girl, talk to Bob. I'm down.
A
Oh, it could be fun, right? Anyway, you did last year.
B
No, I don't.
A
You did a couple years ago with Shangela.
B
Yeah, Me, Shangela and Vanjie. That's when I was on stage celebrating Bring the New Year in. I put my hand up. I'm like, three, two, one. Happy New Year. A sparkle is going Burn the out of man.
A
There's a video of me going, that's. Wow. It's crazy. My new favorite video is Monet not knowing the worst. Vogue. 5, 6, 7, 8.

B
But I know when the song is on, though.
A
No, what you're doing is you're just waiting for Beyonce to say it and you jump back in. That does not mean you know the words. I don't know why this drives me so crazy. You make me a maniac.
B
Do you know that one, too?
A
Rosetta Tharp. Santigo. Bessie Smith. Nina Simone. Solange. Are you looking at Jacob?

Strike a pose. There's nothing to it. Vogue.
A
You know what? I cannot stop. I just can't. I like. It is. It is my current obsession. This is the first time a straight man will ever be my number one art song of the year. I just cannot stop. What's the point of time? All of us was in chains, homie. Still double down calling us some slaves. Atlanta was the Mecca, building railroads and trains. Bear with me for a second. Let me put y' all on game. Settlers was using town for us to make them richer. Fast forward 20, 24, you got the same agenda. This song is.
B
So which one is this one?
A
This is not like us.
B
Not like us. They're not like us. They're not like us.
A
I cannot stop listening to this song. Okay, you're into Atlanta. When you need a check balance, let me break it down for you. That's a real N challenge.
B
So you think that he won the beef?
A
Oh, eight.
B
Well, you know, people goons rolled up to Drake's mansion and was, like, shooting
A
his shit out and hit. One of his bodyguards got shot.
B
Yes.
A
I like.
B
Kendrick Lamar is not from Toronto. This nigga is from Compton.
D
Yeah.
B
Like, he's not playing.
A
They rode up to a house in Toronto. They got their passports. They went through. They went. They went through security. Passport.
D
Hi.
A
We're just coming to visit. Literally, sightseeing,
B
girl. They don't play. Can you imagine if you got into a rap beef with a girlfriend? Drag race.
C
So.
B
And they roll up to one of your gigs or something and really try to get.
A
There's one girl who throw hands, and you saw it happen on Christmas tour.
B
Oh. Oh, my God.
A
She be throwing hands. Say their names.
B
She's not good. She's not.
A
She choked somebody and punched them. That's crazy. Imagine I'm reading someone and they just start choking. I'd be like, oh, my God. What? Where are we? We better than this.
D
We gay.
B
Where's that from?
A
I don't know. I just made it up. We better than this. I thought I heard that word, but, yeah. You don't like. You don't like the way. Like. You don't like the way his voice.
B
I don't like his voice.
A
It's very mousy.
B
I don't. I don't like. I don't like his tone.
A
The BAE gonna let you disrespect Pac, nigga. I think the Oakland show gonna be your last stop, nigga.
B
I mean, he's. And he's a great rapper.
C
He's.
B
He's a very successful rapper.
A
I was like, when he go, what? He is hot. Take. He's very successful. And literally sitting here with his Pulitzer Prize Grammys, he's so successful.
B
You want a Pulitzer?
A
Yeah. He's like, one of the only rappers ever won a Pulitzer.
B
Cool. Pulitzers are normally for a literary. It's a literary award.
A
Yeah. And also for plays in music as well. Like, Strange Luke won a Pulitzer work. Hamilton won a Pulitzer. Angels in America won a Pulitzer work.
B
Do you think they're single ever? He could ever bring a Pulitzer?
A
We could. No, I don't think we have because we don't do any writing on our show. But we could potentially win a Peabody Award. They're journalism awards.
B
We. We. We have good journalism. We report hard on one of the most successful reality competition shows in television.
A
That is true.
B
So, like, come on now.
A
That part is very true. But I mean, if we shifted our dynamic, we might be able to shifted our content. We might be able to snatch a Peabody.
B
Well, we have to be more serious.
A
No, I think it's just actually, I don't know. You know what I mean? I am a Peabody Award winner.
B
You won for. We're here.
D
Jacob.
A
Can you give me my Peabody? Jacob.
B
Oh, my God. Jacob. Look, Jacob. Jacob is so tired of this damn award.
A
I don't talk about it. Maybe I do, but.
B
Yeah, you do.
A
Yes, you do. The boy being like, mom, do you need these?
B
And he's wearing.
A
He's holding tampons. He's like, do you need these for your butt? You used to use them at the old house. You do use them.
B
How old is this kid?
A
He's like five.
B
Okay.
A
Like, do you need these for butt?
D
You.
A
You do use them at the old house. You did use them. Oh, mommy.
B
Bob has seen every video. It is on Tick Tock.
A
This is true. This video. I'm obsessed.
B
It's so small.
A
It's not about size.
B
It's heavy.
A
There's a little Peabody Award, honey.
B
2022 Peabody Award. We're here. HBO in association with the House of Opus 20 and IPC Caldwell, TDQ College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
A
That's me.
B
I have a question.
A
Yeah.
B
Did you see the last cultureitos Culture Awards?
A
No.
B
Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers had an award show for their podcast. Yeah, it was massive.
D
They. Yeah, they do this every year.
B
It was every year.
D
The yearly show. And it's. It's gotten progressively bigger and bigger.
A
It's huge. So what is. What's going on is the last Culture Resources Awards.
B
The last Culture reaches Culture Awards.
D
So it's an award show, but for, like, basically the things. It's more of like a.
A
Is it goofy?
D
Yeah. So, like, the awards are like, Best Vibes, like, bet, like.
A
And is there voting or they just pass out the awards.
D
They just pass out the awards.
A
And we've never received it. It was. We never received one.
B
It was somewhere big. Was that. Like. Can you look at where it was, Jacob? I think it was like, Radio City. It was like.
A
We never. We never received one.
B
That's. Should we do it across?
A
Isn't that interesting?
D
Phaedra was nominated for Trader Season 2. So maybe your time is coming up.
A
Maybe it's because we beat them for the GLAD Award that one year, and they're still.
D
To be fully honest, they beat us this year for the GLAD Awards.
A
Team won still. So, like.
B
Oh, they won this year.
D
Yeah, they won this year.
A
But we beat them first.
B
Okay, here's the question, though.
D
I don't think we beat them first. I think they also.
A
We did beat them. I promise, the year that we won, we beat them. Because I had a whole speech. I was gonna make a joke about
D
how I think they won before us.
A
No, we won first and they won after us. I'm 100% positive. This is not even up for debate because that was the first time we were nominated. Was when we won the first time we were nominated.
B
When should we do a crossover episode with Las Culturistas?
A
It would be fun. I like Bowen, and I love Bowen and Bowen. I mean, I. I feel like I'll start. Bowen's a little. I think Bowen's a little younger than I am.
B
No, but I mean, he's a little. But he's the same age as Andy. They were in the same class at nyu.
A
Oh, Andy went to NYU for like
B
a year and a half.
A
Wasn't. He was a theater kid.
B
He was. He was in the. He was in the. Guess. Guess what? Theater, though.
A
Tish.
B
Yes, but, like, what type of theater?
A
Technical?
B
No. Experimental. Very. Andy, like, running around like.
A
I don't see Andy as a performer. Whenever I hear that Andy has a performance. He has a performance degree of communications. What does his degree.
B
No, he. He wasn't there for a year and a half, and then he did at
D
the King's Theater in, I think, Brooklyn. 3,000 capacity.
A
What did Andy have a degree in?
B
He got it in.
A
In. It's like performance, though, right?
B
Teach theater education. Theater education.
A
I just don't see any as.
B
But he didn't leave. But he was only at NYU for a year and a half, and then, you know, drugs and alcohol, and then he got. He talks about it all the time. Is that Inappropriate to say.
A
That's not for me to decide.
B
Yeah, my guy, he talks about it openly. Okay, okay.
A
Is that he talking about me when I'm not in the room?
B
And then he went to Emerson and
A
got a Theta ticket for drugs and alcohol. There's actually the class at NYU and there's a class at CSU where I went to school called Drug, Sex and Rock and roll.
B
A class. I mean, that's. See, I, that's what, I love that in college, though. Like, you get to take weird classes like that. Like, that sounds like a fun class.
A
I mean, it was actually, it was, I think it was a culture class about, like, music and it was a music, Culture, music history class. Or pot or a culture history class. Like pop culture stuff. In history. It's called Drug, sex and rock and roll. Yeah, I, I, it was literally about drug, sex and rock and roll. That was the whole class.
B
I took some classes like that and I, I used to love those kind of classes because it's, that's a break from, like, voice science and like, music historiography and Boring.
A
Did you take normal classes?
B
Yes, I did. I was, I was an education major.
A
Okay, but you, you just named all these performance based classes. You weren't like science and math.
B
I did. I took math and science. I took all those too.
A
Which, which sciences?
B
I don't know. I just took regular science. I just took Science 101. Regular science.
A
I don't think, I don't think they're like regular. Regular.
B
I don't remember the numbers.
A
I think it's like, y' all want regular science and like, super duper science.
B
I had to do, like, English 101 and math.
A
All those. Yeah, I don't think we should be in college learning about math.
B
Why?
A
Like, I just, I did it in, I did it in high school.
B
And do you remember any of it?
A
Yeah, a lot of it.
B
What's popular?
A
Pythagorean theorem.
B
Yeah, what's that?
A
Negative B plus or minus?
B
No, no, no. It's A squared plus.
A
That's the quadratic equation. What's the quadratic equation then?
B
That's A plus B.
A
No, it's negative B.
B
Is it negative B? Negative B. Jacob, you are a scientist.
D
Oh, no, I know this. We've actually done this already on the podcast.
A
No, the quadratic equation is negative B plus or minus the square root of 4A over C. No, C. Now the quadratic equation is negative B plus or minus the square root of 4A over C. I want to say that's What?
D
I.
A
The quadratic equation
D
equals negative B plus or minus the square root of B squared minus 4ac over 2a.
B
Oh, like what? And what does that help you figure out?
A
Quadratics.
B
Like quantum physics.
A
Do you know the difference between a parallelogram, a rhombus, a square and a rectangle?
B
A rhombus has five sides.
A
No, has four sides.
B
A rhombus is four.
A
A rhombus is where all four sides are equal.
B
That's this one.
A
Boom, boom.
B
Oh, yeah, you're right.
A
So a square is a rhombus, is it? Yeah. A square can be a rhombus, but a rhombus doesn't have to be a square.
B
What's this one? Boom, boom, boom.
A
That would be a quad.
B
That would be a trapezoid.
A
No, trapezo. That would be a quadrilateral.
B
Quadrilateral.
A
And it might be a trapezoid, too. A quadrilateral is four sides.
B
I didn't know I was not good in geometry.
A
I'm pretty sure a quadrilateral is a shape with four sides. So a square, a rectangle, a rumble and a trapezoid would all be quadrilaterals. And then a rhombus is four sides that are all same. The same. The same length, but they don't have to be right angles. So they could be kind of slanted. And then a square is four right angles. And then a rectangle is where.
B
So you like math or just geometry?
A
You're good in. A rectangle is where opposite sides, like parallel lines are equal. Correct. Jacob, you just gave it like 90 degrees with four right angles.
D
You know, from what I heard, that's sounds about correct.
B
Usually there's a lot to process. You listen like 19 shapes and you're like, right, Jacob?
A
So I was better at geometry than I was at, like, algebra and calculus.
B
See, I was good at algebra. I didn't like the one with
A
triangles.
B
That's trigonometry, sine, cosine. And the other one tangent. Yeah, tangent. What's that one? That's. That's.
A
That's algebra, I believe.
B
Is that algebra?
A
I don't know much about algebra, but I don't know one plus one equals two. Never take my the way that it should be because that's not algebra. One plus one equals two is not algebra. That's arithmetic. So the song should be. I mean, she'll know. She didn't know how to pronounce algebra. She called it algebra. No, it should be. I don't know much about algebra, but I know 1 plus x equals 2 and x equals 1. That's algebra. She just straight up started doing arithmetic.
B
See, and this is why we don't be invited to the sacred hair lodge, because you be talking about algebra.
A
This is why you or Nelly said, I'm a sucker for cornrows and manicured toes. Yeah, toes are pedicured.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
That used to drive me crazy. I'm a sucker for cornrows and pedicured toes. And it still works. It's just like that one cardi b lyric that we always wanted to change. What's upon a time, man, I heard it.
B
That was ugly.
A
Came from a who wanna with me. But you can go once upon a time, man, I heard it, I was ugly. It came from a who wanna me face bum ass type.
B
But I think the ugly is great.
A
I mean, I actually do love that she goes ugly.
B
Yeah, it's like. It's like a little more.
A
No, I do like that one, actually.
B
Yeah. But you know, do you know what's. As a kid, one song like, now looking as an adult, I'm like, I cannot believe someone made a song about this. What people made about me and side chicks and shit all the time. But secret love, that's literally about cheating on someone. Like, secret love.
A
It's not a kid song.
B
I know, but I remember as a kid listening to it, like, oh, my God. You talking about being like somebody's secret lover. That's crazy. That's crazy.
A
Yeah, I guess. I mean, it's one of your favorite songs about being a side piece who?
B
No, not my song.
A
It's one of your favorite songs. You can have army. You want it. You can have a meaning.
B
Why do you have to come from.
A
We're also not gonna invite anything with this. I know. I need to start with this podcast. You're such a hater.
B
You're such a hater.
A
How she sings if I do an impersonator carriage hating. I don't hate her. I'm just impersonating her. That's how Carol. This is how camera Channing speaks. And this is what you singing, Enoch.
B
We got it. We got it. We got it. You're so rude.
A
Is doing fine. Perfectly fine. You think she watched the podcast? Shout out says, hey, sis.
B
Well, I said, I met on the airline. She said she know. I don't know if they listen to the podcast, but they had seen my content.
A
Do you know that she chose the name sza because she identifies as cisgender? No, she's like, I'm sis.
B
Anyway, it's Literally not. That's literally not.
A
That is literally it. You can literally Google it right now. Here it is. The definition, the description is right here. Here's the video of her describing it. It's happening, Sizz.
B
You know Rihanna's son's name is rza. Rza.
A
Named after Scissor?
B
No. Wu Tang Clan.
A
Really? Would you name your child after any famous musicians?
B
Hell, no.
A
You have kids got named Rock, Paper, and then you have a third one.
B
Well, Mariah Carey had the kid named Rock, but from Morocco.
A
Thank you, Jacob.
B
This is why. This is why y' all belong together. I got it. I got it.
A
Rock, Paper. The rock. Rock is actually not a bad name,
B
but it's short for rock from Morocco.
A
No, I'm saying. I'm saying rock in general because we know the rock. Like, rock is kind of a name that we. And then There was a TV show in the 90s called Rock Roc. So it was kind of like a really serious version of Family Matters. You know, family members, kind of, like, goofy and fun. They would have, like, occasional series episodes. Rock was like, the one that was always serious. It was just every episode ended with, like, with people just standing around. Rock was a. He was a. He worked as a garbage man. Waste removal specialist.
B
A waste removal specialist. Do you ever see you.
A
Do you want sanitation?
B
Sanitation.
A
But there's a sanitation worker. Sanitation specialist.
B
I don't know.
A
Sani
B
Rob Anderson. He reviews, like, did you watch Touch by an angel as a kid? Or you used to see it on tv?
A
I mean, every once in a while, but not often.
B
He's reviewing. I'm like, I forgot how crazy. My grandma used to love that show. There's literally a blackface episode where the angel is turned into a black person.
A
Oh, no, I have not seen that one. Is that the one show with Della Reese on it?
B
Yes. And angel sort of to be amongst to see how, like, whatever. They put her in blackface, and she's running around in blackface. A curly afro wig and black makeup.
A
Do you know a song, Come on to my house? Come on to my house. It's famous. Recorded by. Who's that woman who sings hey Mambo? Mambo. Italian. It was famously recorded by Rosemary Clooney. But there's also a great version by Eartha Kitten. In my opinion, the best version is by Della Reese. If you all want to. If, you know, Come on to my house Come on my house in my house I'm gonna give you candy Delarice has a B. B. Amazing. An amazing rendition of that song.
B
Someone Sang a delivery song. And I was like, recently.
A
And I was like, oh, my God.
B
I didn't realize they were someone. Sorry. Had it in a mix and a number. I was like, I don't know. Delirious. Had such a beautiful voice.
A
Oh, she had a beautiful voice.
D
She was.
A
She was like one of the Broadway girlies.
B
Oh, okay. Yeah. She was a Smokey Joe's Cafe.
A
No, I don't think so. I think she was a little long in the tooth for Smokey Joe's Cafe.
B
I've never seen the show. I don't know.
A
She was doing it, like, back when. Like back when. When Ethel Merman was young. Yeah.
B
DeLorean. One of those people. She was old my entire. My entire time knowing her.
A
Yeah, that makes sense. I mean, like Queen of England, right? Dela Reese, Broadway show. Let's see.
D
She did.
B
She was in Rent. She played me.
A
She was not.
B
Stop.
D
Elphaba and Wicked.
B
She was Elphaba and Wicked. Wow.
A
She. Oh, she went to one show. Was Blues in the Night. You better work.
B
You better work.
A
I guess she was really known for her cabaret or something.
B
You better work.
A
She's the wrong. Oh, she's a Broadway diva, baby. She's one of the. She's a show pony. She was doing. She was doing show after show after show. So long ago. Fully the 80s, by the way. Fully the 80s.
B
Blues of the night. What is that? That's a jukebox musical of. Of Elephant Gerald musical songs. Right.
D
What show?
B
Losing the Night.
A
Do you know that for sure? That's crazy if you know that. It's called Blues in the Night.
B
Yeah.
A
Blues in the Night is bdp. Blues in the Night is a popular blues. Oh, it's one blues song.
B
Right.
A
And I think it's Owa Fitzgerald song list.
D
Am I blue, Baby Doll? Blues in the Night. Are these all. I don't think it's Ella Fitzgerald one.
B
She definitely sang some of those.
D
Set in Chicago. The blues of Bessie Smith. Johnny Mercer.
A
Johnny Mercer. Harold Arlen, Vernon Duke, Alberta Hunter.
D
It's a blues music. It's a blues jukebox musical.
A
I was trying to do a.
D
You do one with all black root girls. Okay.
A
Alaska Thunderclap.
B
Oh, black. Oh, these are all Drew girls. Hold on.
A
Wait. Give me a few seconds.
B
Bebe Zahara, Raven.
A
Stop.
D
Hold on.
A
Monet and Bob is so Tall. Bebe Zahara. Naomi Smalls. Um, mo heart. Lala ri ogi. Oh, hallelu. Is Ms. Shanji angiri. Maybe Vanjie, but I'm not really sure. Also no.
B
What you Had. But you came out.
A
Was it weird that Vanjie. Like, I'm gonna say the N word.
B
It was a little weird, but it
A
was a little weird, right?
B
It was a little weird.
A
She's like, I'm gonna say it and K, nobody.
B
I was like, it was a little weird, but. And the first one did not work, but the second one with Nina did. But the first one, I was like, it just weird.
A
But I almost had an N word. And I was like, jesus Christ.
B
I have a question.
A
If you think I have an answer.
D
If we. If.
B
If there was.
A
If you're gonna make fun of. You can't touch it. You gotta respect. You can touch it, but you gotta be nice about it.
B
What's that song by Erika Jane? Look but don't touch Guns and Corns.
A
Not Erika Jane.
B
Who's that?
A
That's not Erika James.
B
Look but don't touch it.
A
That's not Erika James.
B
We used to do that. Queen.
A
That's not Erica James, is it, Kat? Erica Jane. How many fucks do I give? How many fucks?
B
Look what I touch.
A
Look.
D
Polyphea.
B
No, look, but don't touch. Don't touch.
A
I think it's a man.
B
No, it's a woman. Could we do that? Queen. And we did not do male voices of Queen.
A
Oh, there's a Look But Don't Touch
D
by somebody named Sariah.
B
I think it's Sariah from Empire. Yeah, that's the one. Yeah.
A
Sariah fully a black actor on Empire. Not even a real. Not even a real artist. If you. If.
B
Do you think that if they were to bring something back like the Haters Rose, it'd be received well, or are we too PC for Haters Roast?
A
No, I think. I think it works. The thing about Haters Rose is that you are like, everyone is on board with what's happening there. Like, we're all the fans.
B
Are they like, I can't believe Bob and went on there and said that you can't come.
A
You can't like, like, you know the Roast of. Did you watch the Roast of Tom
B
Brady was not good. Nikki Glazer.
A
Fucking. Can I tell. Can we talk about why I wasn't good?
B
Because he had all these fucking people.
A
Okay, first of all, can I just say this?
B
Say it.
A
I don't think Kevin Hart was a good host.
B
Yeah, I would agree with that.
A
He kept doing this thing that is like. This is like a comedy faux pas. He would get up and then tell a joke that someone just told and then just retell the joke and Like, like, like, laugh. But he was. He was doing on the guys, like, giving the joke props. But I was like, you're just telling the joke that was. We just heard this joke.
B
Yeah.
A
And you just get up here just laughing and telling us the joke that we. We literally. We literally just heard this joke.
B
Yeah. It wasn't like. And I just. They had too many of these. These football players that aren't funny, and they're.
A
The big guy was Kronk.
B
Kronk was good.
A
I. I didn't know who he was.
B
He was the only one, though.
A
He was so. And he was taking. He had such a good sense of humor about himself.
B
Yeah.
A
They were calling him stupid and doofy and dumb all night long, and then he got up there and he just ate it. He was genuinely.
B
I bet you.
A
Very, very funny.
B
I bet you got to.
A
It's got to. It's got to be stupid.
B
But Nikki Glaser, the only woman. Sorry. And Sam James also. But Nikki Glazer killed only woman is crazy. Nikki Glazer, she was the best one tonight. Would you agree?
D
You know, Meg wrote all her jokes. Mick.
B
Speaking of Bob, can we have you comment on the. On the. On the. On the. On the Rose. As a comedian, a professional comedian, I thought it was.
A
I thought it actually was a pretty good role. My favorite joke of all was Roxy Andrews when she said, you're always talking about your inner saboteur, but I want to talk about your outer saboteur, gravity. Like, even the way she delivered it was great. Angeria actually has some pretty good moments.
B
That's what I said. I thought she was really good.
A
Anger has some pretty great moments.
B
The whole Michelle Dog thing, I thought was hilarious.
A
It was a pretty. Honestly, it was a pretty good role. There were genuinely no flops.
B
Yeah, no flops.
A
Which is. But also, sometimes someone flopping in a roast is as good as. As a viewer, it's as good as watching someone do a good job. Like watching Utica bomb. Watching pheromone bomb is as good as watching someone else soar. Right?
B
Yeah, I agree.
A
So, I mean, it was a little bit unfun for that reason.
B
Yeah.
A
But other than. I mean, and I enjoyed also, everyone. Now everyone's like, all Stars, two confirmed. All winners, two confirmed. I was like, that's. I don't think that's what that. Because I think Priyanka was on. This is the first scene that Drag Race I have. I mean, I was. I was waiting, so I couldn't watch most of it.
B
Wait, what did Priyanka do.
A
Apparently she did something on the show, didn't she? She was on the episode, right. The fans kept saying that.
B
I have not seen that.
A
Was she. The fans were saying she did something. I have not watched the season because I was. I was away.
D
Canada or a different one. I forget. I know. She was a lipstick assassin. An older season.
A
Oh, well, I thought she did, but I was. I've been away, so I haven't watched the season.
B
Season. What do you think of the Nikki Glazer got me controversy?
A
You know, I think that. That Mick took those jokes and it's a little. And that's weird. Like, I'm not shocked. I mean, I think a lot of people still jokes, but, like, bar for bar is. Is wild.
B
You know what I mean?
A
But I mean, is what I mean. But also, it'd be one thing if she did it and then won the challenge and like, Like. Yeah, but she did it and was, like, right in the middle of the pack, and it was. Was fine. Yeah. You know what I mean?
B
All right.
A
Did you watch the Untucked?
B
I have not seen it. Yes, I did watch the Untucked.
A
Yeah.
B
Which first of all, her energy. Do. Do you have any inside te. Oh, my God.
A
I don't know what. I don't know why she was in the bad mood.
B
She was being so weird. And you. But of course you were in there, as you do with your big ass ladle, just stirring.
A
I just asked. I said. I said, who. Who's winning? Who's doing a good job? I was not stirring anything.
B
I was.
A
I was literally just being like, who.
D
Who.
A
Who's winning? Who's.
B
Who's.
A
Who won Snatch Game? It's like I said, oh, work. That's amazing. How was that? She goes, great. I just started laughing. That was just so fun. That was such a crazy response to that. I was like, oh, you look very
B
cute in a second year. This is your red outfit from. From your video from gay bars.
A
Yes, actually. Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
And. But. But the shirt that. It was the outfit that I wore to the Spotify Rap Party, where you were confused for me, which is kind of wild.
B
I was confused.
A
Kesha.
B
Oh, yeah.
A
Kesha. And then someone Spotify. No, it was crave.
B
It was a Spotify Best new artist
A
party, which is the Spotify Rap Party.
B
No.
A
Yeah. The best new artist always perform a spot for Rap Party.
B
Is it the rap?
D
No, it's.
B
It's something different.
D
It's the best new artist party.
A
Is it not called Spotify?
D
It's called the best New artist party.
A
Okay. Don't scream.
B
Thank you. Jacob. Jacob was there. Let me say this thing. I was in gen pop. Check. It wasn't vip. Like, hey, you, you fucking raggedy bitch. I was like, excuse me, sir. Man, I had some more. He's like, ooh, child.
A
The good peasants. Peasants. Were you there with Mikey? Yeah, yeah.
B
But there was so many. I met so many people that I love. Like, I met Baby Tate. She was amazing. I met Lucala.
A
I love her.
B
Oh, she's amazing voice.
A
She wrote on Katy Perry's new album.
B
That's incredible.
A
And I hope apparently apparent according to her and Katie, she wrote the. The best song on the album.
D
Word.
A
Katy Perry post. Either. Either Luke. Either Luke Hollow or Katy Perry posted on. On their. On their Instagram or on their story or something. But Katy Perry was like, this woman wrote the best song on my album. It's going to be the biggest song I've ever done or something like that. Good for her.
B
She's so talented. She deserves that.
A
I don't care. I'm in my pretty girl. You have to sing. You have to sing. Sing the harmony.
D
Oh, yeah. Can we do the harmony challenge?
A
You have to do it, too. And then. And then I'll do it. Yeah, yeah. Now. Oh, you don't want to do it no more? Do you all say you don't want to play?
B
So you did y' all hear the country? All right, now you.
A
You don't do it no more. Do.
D
Try it.
A
J. Go try it. Okay. Monet sings something that I try to. I sing something. You try to harmonize with me. Okay, you ready? Happy birthday to you. Happy. You hear another song, just harmonize. One, two, three. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, dear Monet.
B
You cannot come down to what I'm saying.
A
Happy birthday to you. I can do whatever I want. First of all, you have to harmonize with me. I'm not harmonizing with you. You need to adjust to me. Peabody Award winner.
B
Wait. Smile. Jake is gonna try to harmonize with
D
you, and we're at an hour for this episode.
A
All right, Let me harmonize with you. Give me something to harmonize with. Twinkle, twinkle little star. Wait, wait. Start over. Twinkle, twinkle, little star How I wonder what you are.
B
Unison.
A
Up above the world so high like a diamond. Jacob, you try it. Why you.
D
Kiki.
B
Calculating the octave above it.
A
Those are hard. Give me something short. Something short. Okay, wait, wait. Okay, go. Baa, baa, black sheep, have you any wool?
B
Yeah, we're in the same note, but
A
I Started off harmonizing. You did do it again. No, start over.
B
But it's not harmony, it's dissonance.
A
You're making this, this, this. I'm about to diss something.
B
It's dissonant.
A
It's dissonant. Jacob. See, Jacob's not gonna do it because Jacob's always laughing at me. But he don't want to put himself on a line.
B
Bob showed me the cutest video yesterday. I was Bob showing the cute videos of Jacob. It is them all at Bob's family dancing. And Jacob is moving Joe. Jacob's moving them hips. I see how Jacob got his man, honey.
A
Well, my uncle Scotty, who is like the reverend of my family, was. He's obsessed with that South African dance.
B
I can't do it.
A
He's like obsessed with this, with this dance. So when we were in the hospital with my mom, the nurse was like. She said a name that was like Nigerian. She's like, my name is oye or something. And he goes, oh, do you know that. That African dance? And I said, uncle Scotty, that is a South African dance. She's from Nigeria.
B
Please. That is hilarious.
A
He was like. She goes, no, but I do know it. I know the dance. And she was. And she was like, I could do it, of course. And then Scotty, he was just like.
B
He was.
A
Scotty was obsessed with his dance all. All weekend long and making his wife do it. And I was doing it. And his. His daughter in law, stepdaughter. Stepdaughter was doing it. And then Jacob. Jacob just threw his little hat in the ring. Jacob ate.
B
It was good.
A
I don't know that Jacob did that dance, but he did a dance and the dance was very good.
B
Girls here. The thing is, Jacob has way more than Andy rhythm. But Andy can barely. We went out in New York and Ken was trying to teach Andy to just step, touch, scream, step, touch to the beat.
A
He's a theater major. Yeah, I mean, Jacob experimental theater.
B
Exactly.
A
Jacob has pretty good rhythm. He doesn't have a big catalog of dancers moves.
D
Got it.
A
But the rhythm is. You remember when we were doing get into the Money?
B
Oh, yeah. Mato and Jacob.
C
So y', all.
A
We. One of our. One of our pandemic project was to learn get into the money.
B
We should. We should do a TikTok of us. I remember a lot of it. Okay.
A
Actually, we are at time. Marvin got here 10 minutes ago. He's been outside for 10 minutes. So we. We are at time.
B
Okay, we have to go.
D
All right, thank you so.
