So if you've ever been in any kind of a mastermind or group coaching program or on like a zoom call with tens of thousands of people or even hundreds of people, and you left feeling just, you know, kind of dissatisfied, sad that, like, you didn't get this specific help that you were wanting, you didn't get your question answered. I've been there. Been there. And that is why I have specifically built the group coaching program inside of my signature program, simple SEO framework and group coaching. That's why I've built the group coaching program the way that I have built it. Because I realize one first off that sometimes a course and click here, do this is not enough to get you the actual results and the actual help that you need, right? Everybody learns differently, right? The way that I explain something in the course, you might be like, oh, I just need a little further explanation. So there's so many reasons for the group coaching aspect of this, but I just wanted to give y' all a little taste of what a group coaching call actually looks like, because as y' all know, I have a very unique approach to SEO that includes copywriting and SEO. So what I can help you do in the group coaching is work through through your website copy so that when people get to your website using simple SEO tactics and techniques, then we can help them convert better because we can work through your messaging. So in this short podcast episode, what I'm going to do is I'm going to give you like a little snippet of a group coaching call with one of my students, Jan Touchberry, who has a really cool business. The more I get to know her, the more fun she is. But I got to help her work through her copy inside of one of the calls, because you actually do get one on one feedback from me inside of this group coaching. So kick back, listen, and think. Is this something that would benefit my business? If I could get Faith's eyeballs on my copy for a fraction of the cost of having her overhaul my copy for me, how much would that benefit my business? And just for funsies, I want you to listen to this and I want you to do a little bit of math and just think, okay, I want you to take the average number of leads that you get your website a month and do a little bit of mathy math and see, okay, if I could double the amount of leads that I get to my website, which is not hard to do using SEO, if I could double the amount of leads I get to my website and double my conversion rate, how much More money would I make and how quickly could I pay myself back? Air quotes for investing in this course. Okay, so listen in to this short conversation with Jan. You'll hear a couple other voices on there, mostly Jan. And just think, okay, how could this help my business? All right, y' all listen in. I'm excited to share this with you. Hey there, fellow entrepreneur. Welcome to simple SEO and marketing. Do you want to grow your business with sustainable traffic sources? Have you heard about the power of search engine optimization? And you want to take advantage of it to get more traffic, more eyeballs on your business. But when it comes down to it, does SEO feel complicated and hard to implement? Are you tired of wondering what in the heck to do with your website to get more traffic and more leads knocking on your door? What if I could tell you that there was a simple, proven system for using SEO, blogging and copywriting to get leads from your website? And not just any leads. Hi.
B
Converting lead.
A
Hey. I'm Faith Hannon, wife, mama, copywriter, SEO strategist, and barrel racer. And for the last eight years, I've been figuring out what works and what doesn't work in the world of online marketing to get organic traffic. And now I'm here to share all the things I'm learning in the trenches of SEO, copywriting and content marketing. How does 300%, 500% or even 12,000% more traffic in a year sound? What could your business do with that kind of traffic increase? How many more people could you help? So listen in and prepare to take notes. I'm about to drop simple, actionable SEO, marketing, and copywriting tips, all with a heavy dose of Jesus loving encouragement. Let's get you more traffic and more leads so you can help more people with your God given gifts.
B
Well, Jan, why don't you come at.
A
Me with your question?
B
Because I feel like you probably have some.
C
I don't know what would make you think that. I always have questions. That's okay. So I. I am part of the way. I'm looking in ThriveCart right now. I'm part of the way through module two. Not near as far as I'd like to be, but. And I will. I'm just gonna be straight up honest with you. I spent quite a bit of money on hiring a copywriter for my website probably nine months ago.
B
Okay.
C
And I love it. And I am terrified to mess with the copy so that I'm gonna screw it all up.
B
Okay. Like, is it converting?
C
Not like it should be, Probably.
B
Okay, so here's what you can do. If you're, like, just real terrified to mess with it, Mess with it and mess it up. You can split test for a couple months. You know what I mean? Like, rewrite your own homepage and then just like, are you on show it? You're on show it, right? Yeah. Huh. Then you just. Do you know how to make the show it page? Like that one not active and make the page. So you can just test it for a month or two, you know, like, give it a fair try. Like if you had a giant promotion in one season. And then, you know, I mean, it needs to be fair. Fairsies.
C
Yeah. Yeah, It's a good idea.
B
Yeah. I would.
C
I would love for you to take a look at it and give me your input and see, like, on a scale of 1 to 10, how much you think I'm actually gonna have to redo it.
B
Give me your website again. Because you're Jan in my head and your website isn't the same.
C
No, it's the same. It's Jan.com. yeah.
B
Okay. Jan, I've never met you. What is your website? What is your business?
C
Hi, Julie, I'm a Patty. I'm jantetfray.com is my website and I help. I help entrepreneurs get systems and processes set up. I teach back end stuff. I do websites and branding and all that kind of stuff that most people don't like to do. I say I'm the techie girl that will swoop in and save the day. And I do. I just for your brain, I do have Google Analytics pulled up and I can tell you, like, bounce rates and stuff off of the page. Different pages.
B
Okay, perfect. So I'm just gonna look at the copy.
C
Yeah.
B
Or your homepage right now.
C
Great.
B
Right off the bat, I would ixnay the above the fold because let me. Let me show. We'll do screen shares. Ease. So right off the bat, I would ixnay this whole section pretty much.
C
Okay.
B
Maybe like, pull bits and pieces from it. But overall, like, too many words up there. The average. The average American has a reading level between eighth grade and high school, about 150 words a minute. I have to reload my math, which means you need their attention. You need to get their attention. Tell them what you do in less than 20 seconds. So that means you need to get her done in like 20 words or less. And so I like the collaborative marketing service as resources and retreats for working Christian women. But I want to, like, I would want to get to the heart a little more. Like, what do you do? What Main problem do you solve? And let's make it super succinct and super them focused because the. Let's collaborate to create organic growth for your business. Like, that sounds cool, but. But it. Collaborate, I feel like, is one of those words that is grossly overused in the marketing industry. Those Facebook posts that are like, I want to get new Instagram followers, so I'm going to disguise it as let's be friends and encourage each other. And then like, you never actually do anything, follow each other's accounts. And I feel like that's kind of what that word has become.
C
It's really sad because my business is the brand collaborative, so. Yeah, well, that's why you'll see collaborate everywhere, because that is the business name.
B
Yeah.
A
But to.
B
To lead with that is a little bit like.
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
Especially because these women already have a business.
B
Right. They're already getting pitches from all kinds of spam, everything. Right. And so that may have, like a tinge but negative connotation to them without the context of how you help them, you know, because when you explain to me how you help them get their systems set up so that their business can run on autopilot. Boom. Please and thank you.
C
Yeah.
A
All right, let's.
B
How about so something more like stop letting the back end of your business hold you back from growth and peace. Something that, like, hits home and like, kind of turns the knife a little. Midge.
C
Yeah.
B
And that's it. Like, I would have that, like one like, boom statement there and then me. Xna. Xnae. Or move it down. Right. It doesn't necessarily have to all go away, but, like, I'd move her way down because this is all I want to get to the main meat of what you do and how you help them. Your steps. One, two, three. Right. Like, no lower than here.
A
And all of this.
B
I love, like, I love this about your brand, but this isn't enough to make me pay you.
C
Yeah. So does some of that belong on the services page? And then some of the stuff. Stuff on the services page probably belongs on the front page. I feel like the services page is where you've got all the meat. You know.
B
I like. You know, I think the services page is more like. I like the division there. I think the overall umbrella of this problem you solve needs to be much more clear and customer centric on the homepage. Okay. And a lot of times it's really. It's. It's tricky to write a homepage because people want to make it about the brand and not about the client.
C
Mm.
B
And yes, people are coming to you for, like, little, like, different flavors.
C
Yeah.
B
But they're all coming to you for ice cream.
C
I like it.
B
You know, like, they want different flavors of ice cream, but they're all there for the ice cream.
C
Yeah.
B
And so if you can take that and craft your homepage copy in such a way that it's like, boom, we sell the best ice cream in the whole wide world. But not make it about you. Actually make it. Learn more. Like, satisfy your ice cream cravings, you know?
C
Yeah.
B
Unlimited ice cream, 0 calories, more ice cream.
C
All the time. All the time. Okay.
A
All right, y'. All. So that's all I'm going to share of that group coaching call. And obviously the group coaching call went on for longer than 10 minutes. The group coaching call aspect of the simple SEO framework and group coaching is y' all get six group coaching calls that are an hour long. Sometimes I go over just being honest, but what that does is that allows you to take the frameworks that I have and the templates that I've put together that work in organic marketing for real life. Because I didn't want to just give you this, like, massive, here's how you do it.
B

A
