Hi, guys. I know I haven't been recording consistently, but I've really just been leaning into winter and resting. I know you're probably sick of hearing me talk about rest, but rest has just been so important. But with this rest, I'm getting deep, quick, fast. Like, exciting bursts of energy and inspiration. It feels very potent. Like, for example, today I went out in nature with Brandon. We took a hike. It was so beautiful and just, like, feeling really grateful that we could get out in nature, especially with the fires that we had back in January. We were literally hiking through hills that were in, you know, engulfed in flames literally just a few weeks ago. And now they are beautiful and green and it just. Nature shows you what real beauty is and how connected we are to nature. But sometimes we forget. And also nature's resilience, which also shows us our own resilience that we have within. And if I hadn't given my space to enjoy a nice morning with my husband and take a hike, and I'm sitting here with a oxygen face mask on, and I just finished laying under an LED in my own spa. The spa is kind of a mess today, but I'm in the spa because, like, we have to do our own treatments. And didn't we get into this job because we love the spa? We love. We love health. We love wellness. That's why we got into this. Yet we so often forget to treat ourselves. So whether, like, you own a spa or you're working solo or, like, maybe you have, like, a really cool boss, like, get into your treatment room daily, even if it's to lay under the LED for 10 minutes with a great meditation. But I, you know, I had a really lovely day with My husband, I didn't think about work at all. And then I was like, you know what? I really want to do some led. I've been really into leding my body while I meditate. Actually just using LED while I meditate in the morning, I use my saluma, I have it next to my bed plugged in and I put like a 10 to 30 minute meditation on. And then if I have extra time in the day and opportunity, I will actually do a second meditation. And I've been loving leding my body. Ideally, I like to use. I have a big panel from Skinact. It's like their advanced seven wavelength LED panel. And it has literally seven different colors. And I've been using red, but today I did blue and I did it on my body for probably about like 20 minutes. And I like came out of the meditation just feeling like so inspired that I'm like sitting here with a face mask on, recording this for you guys, because I, I just wanted to share. I'm drinking my passion tea and it's just, I don't know, for me, it feels like, it feels like proof that my rest is paying off and that if I'm patient and gentle with myself, I will get these like bursts of inspiration and excitement to work and to share with you guys and to be creative and to help people. So if you're like, oh, it really doesn't matter if I only do. If I do or do not do a meditation or it doesn't really matter if I go on that walk with my dog in the morning, it does. And then the more that you do it, it accumulates, right? It's like that snowball effect. And you can kind of put that snowball effect into anything in your life. And I'm seeing that and proving that to myself over and over. And that's why I wanted. I literally like ran into my house, grabbed all my stuff, came back to the spa. I'm literally in my robe and mask, like I said, drinking some tea. And I was like, I just have to share this because the girls who get it, get it. If you don't, that's fine too. But the snowball effect, like if you keep resting, right, if you keep putting the energy into yourself, if you keep meditating, if you keep walking, if you keep working on your skin, if you keep eating healthy, you're not maybe going to see like an immediate effect. Like we live in that instant gratification world, but it will start to pay off. And then once you get this snowball rolling, you don't even have to do much. You don't even have to push it that hard. It's just rolling down the hill, accumulating a ton of snow. And I feel like that's, like, my snowball for this, like, new chapter is still feeling small, but I'm feeling like my old world and this, like, new world that I'm walking into is starting to collide. And it's feeling, like, really exciting. Like, I'm sitting here with my sound bowls, and I want to give you guys, like, a little sound bowl meditation at the end of this podcast. Just because I've been. I've been called to music, I've been called to art, I've been called to share, and I've been like, okay, how am I going to incorporate my old life or my old world, which is like being an esthetician, being a spa owner, being a podcast host, like, being a skincare influencer, all the things that you want to call me, and then into this new world, which is, like, much, like, slower paced and, like, a lot more, like, gentle. A lot more, like, feminine. Not that, like, hustle girl, boss culture. That was so in it, you know, five, 10 years ago. And I'm like, how am I gonna, like, incorporate this? Or for. There's a minute where I was like, am I letting go of, like, my entire esthetician identity? And part of me kind of had to. And that's why I've stepped back in so many different ways, whether you've noticed or not, because I've really been struggling with, like, how. How do I balance the two? I've been really unmotivated to create or share. It's so crazy. I, you know, for so long, it's like, new product, launch this, launch that, Go to the party, go to the event, go to the trade shows, do, do, do, do the interviews, do all the things right. It's like, be in the magazine. It's like all of my freaking wildest esthetician dreams came true and some. And then it's like the dust settled and I'm like, I don't. I don't. I don't even know if I want to do this anymore. And I know that I do. It's just looking. I know that I do now, and it's just going to look a little bit different. And I'm doing my best to, like, take you guys through at least some of this journey as much as I feel comfortable sharing, but I'm starting to. It's just I haven't been able to share a lot because I haven't had my own like, clarity yet. But I'm the. It's like the, the water is getting lower and I can like see above the water and I can like breathe and I'm like swimming in it and I'm feeling it out. Anyhow, I. It's so crazy because, I mean, since last year I was talking about this new product that I've been working on and it's literally, it's literally sitting in my warehouse, like, right, getting ready to be shipped. It's been ready to be shipped out, but I haven't been ready to like share it and, and to launch it. And it just feels, this feels so unfamiliar to me because it's like in the past, anytime we had a new product, it was out within like 30 seconds. Like literally 30 seconds. And this time it's just like I'm waiting, I'm waiting, I'm sitting on it, I'm feeling it out, I'm feeling it out more and it just like hasn't felt like the right time. But I can like feel myself now, like inching closer and I can feel myself like gaining confidence through the nature walks and through the meditation and through expressing myself with the music and still having like this safe space here, like with the podcast and on social media with you guys. Kind is still supporting everything that I'm doing, buying the products, listening to everything, like it's truly incredible the amount of I've support I've received even through this like huge transist transition additional time for me. So I just want to extend my gratitude to you. If this is like your first time listening or you've been with me since, maybe you've been with me since before my first podcast, I don't know. But so much gratitude to all of you and I'm just feeling this like energetic excitement. I also think with spring around the corner, that's getting me more excited. And again, in. In the past I would like push through winter and like force myself to do all this work and this year I just haven't and I just feel like it's paying off tenfold. So if you can even incorporate going to sleep 15 minutes earlier or waking up 15 minutes earlier to like get a little sunlight or do a five minute meditation or take your kids on a walk or take the dog on the walk or sit and breathe or maybe you're going to listen to the sound bowl meditation that I'm about to play for you. Just try it and give it more time. Give it more time than like you Think, like, it's not gonna, like, rock your world in a week, but maybe it will. Maybe it will rock your world in a freaking week. Okay? Be patient with yourself. Give yourself time. Give yourself grace, Give yourself love. Give yourself the LED treatment that you keep saying you're gonna do. Put the freaking face mask on. Do some micro needling, do that are, like, screaming in your head that you're making an excuse that you're too busy for. But I know you're probably scrolling on Instagram or Tick tock. Okay, like, we're. We've all been there. I'm still there sometimes too, you know, like, turn the phone off. Turn the TV off. Just, like, turn it off. It'll be there tomorrow or it'll be there in an hour. Like, trust me, like, make a cup of tea and, like, have a great conversation with your partner or with your kids or your parents. I don't know. But again, extending so much gratitude to all of you who are still with me on this journey. And that's it, really. I wanted to offer you a little sound bowl meditation. And maybe this is the perfect place to start and you can come back to this every day. Like, just fast forward to. What is it? We're probably about 12 minutes in. Fast forward to 12 minutes in. Sit up or lay down. Smell some essential oil and just enjoy this gentle, relaxing sound bath. Okay, I'll talk to you guys soon. I love you, Sa. Take a deep breath in. Hold it at the top and let it go. We believe in love. We believe in helping others. Don't forget to help yourself. Take another deep breath in. Hold it at the top. Relax your body. Relax your mind. Relax your jaw and let it out. I hope this brings you peace. I hope this brings you relaxation. Take one more deep breath in. Hold it at the top and let it out. Let everything out. Let yourself relax. Let your mind relax and enjoy these last few moments. Know where you have to be. Nothing you have to do.
