Someone recently reached out to me on my website asking for an episode about starting over, and I thought that was a great topic. Because to me, life is one continual reboot. Like even in projects and relationships that we're really committed to, there are renewals, renovations, and new beginnings. But some renewals are bigger than others. Some changes are very dramatic. If we lose a relationship or a person or a job, we're faced with a starker picture in our life. And it can feel harder to start again. And we can even feel shame that we're forced to start again. But renewal, constant change, is the nature of life itself. It is the only constant. I can't tell you how many times I felt like my life was just beginning. Like on that day, in that moment, my life had finally begun. Because in a way, it did. Because consciousness is always in this present moment and nowhere else. This is it. This moment and now. This moment and now this moment. This is how consciousness is delivered. And it's always fresh and new. Whether you're 8 days old or 80 years old, life is constantly beginning now. Starting over doesn't mean denying the mistakes we've made or forgetting them. But starting over gives us the opportunity to learn from them, grow from them, and make amends if we need to. Starting over also gives us the opportunity to build on our strengths and add depth and meaning to our experience. Starting over offers the opportunity to develop wisdom. So let's remind ourselves of all the new beginnings and let ourselves be part of that flow.
