Hi, I'm Janie, and welcome back to Sleep Magic. I'm so glad you're here tonight. I would love to guide you into the deepest and most powerful sleep you've had in a while. In fact, you can come to know that this is a place where sleep comes easily, naturally, and deeply. Now, I want to take a moment to thank you so much for being here and for each and every comment and review that you leave for us. It's really wonderful to know how sleep Magic has changed your sleep experience in ways that truly matter. Now, deep sleep isn't something you force. In fact, the more you just let yourself be, the deeper you will sleep. Because your body knows how to sleep deeply and restfully. And that comes when the body feels safe and when the mind quiets. So I'll tell you why. I'll show you how to get your mind out of the way so your body's natural ability to shift into sleep can happen more swiftly and with no effort at all. I'll help calm and quiet your mind in a way that gives your body the best setup to fully let go. Because when the mind slows down, that sweet slumber rolls in and just takes over. It may feel like sliding into a warm bath or floating up into soft clouds. Tonight is about giving yourself permission to go deeper than ever before. Can you give yourself that permission right now? I'd love it if you did. I invite you to trust the natural intelligence of your body. It knows what to do. And trust in the quiet power of your subconscious mind, which we will be guiding here in just a moment. Now, before we begin, our only AD break that makes this magic possible to go AD free, follow the link in the show notes One thing I hear

from listeners all the time is how difficult it can be to quiet a mind that never fully slows down, especially for those of you with adhd. And that's actually something we're exploring in an upcoming hypnosis episode because the racing thoughts overwhelm and exhaustion can be so real. But I also think it's important to say that sometimes relaxation, self help, or even therapy aren't the whole answer. Sometimes you need more specialized support. Talk Gayatry connects you with real psychiatric care so you can better understand what's going on and get a treatment and medication plan that works for you. Tochiatry is a 100% online psychiatry practice that provides evaluations, diagnoses and ongoing medication management for conditions like adhd, depression, insomnia, and more. Unlike therapy only platforms, this is psychiatry. You're meeting with a licensed medical provider who can diagnose mental health conditions and prescribe medication where appropriate. And because their clinicians are in network with major insurers, you you can use your existing coverage instead of paying huge out of pocket costs. Head to tokiatry.com sleepmagic to complete the short assessment and get matched with an in network psychiatrist in just a few minutes. That's tochiatry.com sleepmagic to get matched in

minutes I've always been a very nomadic person. I love exploring new places and seeing where life takes me. And as I've gotten older, I've realized that home isn't really a place, it's a feeling. And when you're moving around as much as I do, you start to appreciate the little things that help create that feeling wherever you are. For me, one of those things is a really comfortable bed. I had Quince's organic crisp percale sheet set on my wish list for a while and finally treated myself to it this summer. The first thing I noticed was how it felt cozy while still feeling light and breathable, which is exactly what I was looking for during these warm summer nights. Quince has everything you need to make your bed feel cooler, lighter and more comfortable for summer, from breathable sheets to airy linen shams. And everything is priced 50 to 80% less than similar brands because Quince works directly with ethical factories. And it's not just bedding. Quince brings that same thoughtful approach to clothing too. Make your summer bedding feel better. Go to quince.com sleepmagic for free shipping on your order and 365 day returns. Okay, now it's time to let your mind begin to quiet and feel your body sink into effortless sleep. It's time to drift, drop and let go. Now just take this time to make sure that your body is resting comfortably. You may do a gentle scan from the crown of your head all the way down your neck, chest, arms, fingers, your legs and your feet all the way down into your toes, checking in with every inch of your body, making sure that everything feels very well supported as you close your eyes. Sleep has never asked you to work for, has never required any effort from you. It has always lived right there inside of you. And tonight you remember what your body has always known, which is how to drift into deep, effortless sleep. We're here to quiet your mind

we're going to do that together. You might imagine or follow the idea that your mind is like a beautiful lantern that you have carried throughout the day. The lantern that has illuminated conversations, responsibilities, thoughts, plans, choices and movements. Your mind has been faithfully working for you all day long. It has carried light into every corner corner that needed attention. That lantern has been bright, active, helpful, alert. But now night has arrived and the stars have appeared. And under a sky filled with stars, that lantern no longer needs to shine quite so brightly. Night has arrived and the stars are willing to hold the light for a little while, all so that your mind can begin to settle down. Turn down that light in the lantern. You might imagine setting it beside you, just allowing yourself to notice that your awareness is softening now. It's rolling gently through your body and it's gently clinging to partial thoughts that are just floating by. As your thoughts are quieting, the mind is calming all so your body can begin drifting, dropping and letting go and letting go, letting go. Doesn't that feel so good to let go so deeply, to just feel every muscle of your body relax and release? Tension melts away, melts away, melts away. And as you Gently move your awareness through your body. You notice that your brows and forehead have softened. Your cheeks are relaxed. You can drop the tongue from the root of your mouth and let it melt, melt, melting. As the jaw slacks. And how wonderful that feels. All while your thoughts are becoming lighter and quieter, drifting further and further from you, while your body begins to feel heavier and heavier, anchoring you into your deepest sleep. Deep sleep. Your body can begin drifting without waiting for the perfect quiet. Because the body already knows. The body has always known how to sink into sleep. Deep sleep. Every muscle across your shoulder softens all the way from the right to the left, the left to the right, and all the way down your arms. Ever so gently, you just take your time. Let go more and more and more. How wonderful that is. Relax, release and unwind. And feel that river of relaxation moving all the way down your spine, reaching into the muscles of your back and softening every muscle down into your waist. And then cascading down your arms. Now let that river of relaxation flow and flow and flow. Good. Your body knows what to do and it's already letting go. Notice that your awareness is shifting the most wonderful way. You're shifting into sleep. Sleep that comes naturally, effortlessly, Down into your hands and fingers, down into your waist and legs. The comfort you feel is moving through your body, inch by inch, Rolling slowly down towards your feet. Right foot and the left. The left foot and the right. Allow the anchoring into the feet. Your feet can relax now. The heaviness anchors you into the sweetest slumber. And how wonderful that feels through your whole body, head to toe. Every good feeling amplifies with every breath in and every breath. Bring your awareness to the breath and just let it flow naturally, Calmly. Your body moves through millions of intelligent processes every day. Your heart beats, your lungs breathe, Cells repair, Muscles restore. Your body already knows what to do. And sleep is one imagination of those beautiful natural rhythms. So imagine your thoughts becoming like soft clouds drifting across the night sky. Clouds do not need chasing. Clouds do not need organizing. Clouds simply move. And you can just watch them float, drift, become lighter. While you are beneath those clouds, Clouds of thoughts. Your body begins remembering that ancient rhythm of rest. The rhythm it has known your whole life. The rhythm it has known since before language. It has known this pattern since the beginning. So you come back to the body and you soften your jaw even more. You smooth your forehead even more, settle your shoulders. And let your arms and legs feel even heavier. And heavier and heavy. Good. This is right where you're meant to be, just drifting allowing, remembering. At 20, your mind steps slightly further back. Now as your body steps slightly forward.

Like floating on calm water beneath the stars. At 18, the body becomes heavier now. And heavier. And heavier. The mind becomes softer and softer, Quieter. So quiet. At 17, gentle waves of comfort moving down, down through your forehead, your eyes, Your cheeks, Your jaw. 16. The neck relaxes. The shoulders melt, Melt. At 15, thoughts beginning come further away. Less important, Those clouds in the sky carry your thoughts further and further away. At 14, your chest relaxes. Breathing easy and naturally, so very steady. You just bring your awareness to the steady rhythm of your breath. The breath in, The breath out. A third routine. Your body knows exactly what to do. Allow your body to do what it does naturally. Effortlessly. Your body sleeps. Your body knows how to sleep deeply. 12. The muscles of your back soften. Every muscle from your shoulders to your waist, from the side of your body to the other, down your spine, beneath your shoulder blades. Soften, soften. Release all that you have carried today. Good. At 11, your arms are so heavy. Heavy, heavy. Your hands resting comfortably, peacefully. You are safe. Your fingers uncurl. Lay, rested. Softly and gently. 10. Floating deeper now. And deeper. And deeper. Drifting. Drop into your deepest sleep. Deepest sleep. There you go. Flow. See? Nine. Warmth spreads through your body. A quiet calm blankets your mind. And how wonderful that is. How wonderful it feels. At 8, your hips relax, relax. Your legs are sinking, anchoring you, guiding you. At 7, the body is so heavy, so heavy. How wonderful to just sink, Sink into six. Like descending through warm clouds. Gentle, easy. Safe. Gentle, easy. Say. You are safe. At 5, the body knows what to do. The body knows how to sleep. The body knows how to let go and rest. Rest. For the mind quiets, watching from further away, Trusting the process of sleep. Sleep that rolls all the way through. At three, quietness expands now. At two, sleep is moving in closer. And at one, the body leaves the body. Know. The body carries you, carries you. Sleep begins unfolding naturally. Now. Your mind understands that it does not need to create sleep. It only ever needed to make room for it. So every night becomes easier. Every evening becomes softer. Your body does what it knows how to do, even faster. Now. Your muscles relax sooner. Your breathing settles right away. Your nervous system recognizes how safe you are. How deeply sleep can come when you just let go. Recognize the safety, the comfort. A home here, deep inside. You may have noticed my voice has faded far into the background. My words become softer and softer. Further and further away. Perhaps like part of a dream, Perhaps like being a part of night itself. If night had A voice. Inviting you to sleep, to rest, to lay all of your burdens and worries down. While your body continues moving deeper and deeper and deeper still. Following the beautiful intelligence that has always lived within you. Sleep was always there within you. Waiting patiently, waiting gently. Waiting lovingly. And tonight. You simply stepped aside. So your body could do what it knows how to do so well. How wonderful that is. So you just allow the beautiful beautiful night sky to cocoon you. The soft rhythm of your breath to sustain your sweetest slumber. Your body is so relaxed. You have felt wonderful draw. And your awareness has shifted. And sleep is all consuming. Every part of you sleeps now. The heart rate is in its restful rhythm. The breath in its perfect sleep rhythm. All tension has melted away. Your body is a masterful sleep. All muscles are relaxed. You're just allowing. And drifting. Sinking. Heavier, Quieting. Deep. And just letting go. Floating deeper now. Warm spread. Limbs heavy. Drop gently descending deep. You are safe. Your body knows you are safe. Let quietness grow now expanding. As you sleep. Your deepest sleep. Good night. Let your body lead. Let your body carry to your sweetest deepest slumber.
