I was able to discuss the history of the club and AJ's growing role in why the club has became such a crown gem in Iowa comedy. On top of running operations of the club, AJ is a standup himself and he provided me and the podcast with some of the best discussion about the significance of stand-up and why it attracts the people that it does that I've had since starting this podcast.
