Meghan Sapphire joins us today to talk about her hoe-volution. She’s been in the radio business for 15 years and you may have heard her reporting traffic or the weather. But you sluts most likely know her from her podcast, Sapphire’s Earplay. We begin the conversation by talking about the prostitute archetype which is coined by Carol Myss and share some of our insane dating stories. Meghan then shares what happened when she finally met a man who matched her freak, how she went from being a pro hoe to a selective hoe, why she thinks people are scared of sluts, and what it was like editing porn. We finish the conversation talking about why some women slut shame more then men and what we hope for our future slutty selves. 🌸🎀🌸🎀🌸🎀🌸🎀🌸🎀🌸🎀🌸🎀🌸🎀 Want more of Sapphire? Stasia Patwell is a fitness instructor, personal trainer, comedian and the creator of School of THOT, which is an online accountability and fitness program for women. She moved to Greece last year but was back in Venice Beach in January for a few weeks. So, as any sane person would, I emailed Stasia and offered to “fit model” for one of her classes. I worked out live, on video (a complete nightmare for me) and after we taped this episode. It resulted in a hilarious slightly deranged yet inspiring conversation. We begin the conversation off by discussing our similarities— we’re both Irish Italian and went to an all-girls school growing up (4:30). We talk about why she moved to Greece and what she loves about living there (8:11) then why she came back into town for a few weeks (12:23). After we dive into what happened she first moved to Venice after college (14:22), becoming a well-known alcoholic in the area (18:55), and how she got sober (28:47). She tells us how she began teaching fitness and reflects on her show at the Comedy Store called Ride or Die (37:05). To finish off, she explains how she started the School of THOT, what the group program is, the importance of manifestation, and how she doesn’t regret a single thing. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 Want more of Stasia? Slut in the City! This episode was recorded at Slickback Studios when I was in New York last month and in it, I discuss the latest breakthrough in HIV research, then read the Washington Post exposé on birth control misinformation. I compare what we learn through the article to my experience with birth control, getting off it, and my abortion. After, I discuss the life of Countess Elizabeth Bathory— who was a sadomasochist in Hungary during the 1600s. It’s estimated she murdered 80 to 650 women in the pursuit of her kinks. ✨✨✨✨✨✨ Get Abortion Pills through aidaccess.org Huge thank you to Mike Coscarelli for having me at Slickback Studios in Brooklyn.

This is part two of my conversation with Michelle Tea. If you have not listened to the first part, go back to the previous episode. Michelle Tea is a slutty queer icon and the author of over twenty books. Today she joins us to celebrate the release of Sluts, an anthology she edited and it’s the first release under her new publishing organization, Dopamine Press. We begin the conversation by diving into what it means to be a slut in our culture today, how the word has been used against us, and how we’ve come to reclaim it. Then we discuss her childhood and what pushed her to leave her hometown at 21 and move in with her then-girlfriend. After that, we discuss her sex work, addiction, the mental illness that is writing memoir, and how she got sober. This is part 1 of our conversation, part 2 will come out on May 7— the same release day of Sluts. 🩷⭐️ 🩷⭐️ 🩷⭐️ Follow Michelle Tea on Instagram @michelleteaz and on X @TeaMichelle. It’s Valentine’s Day and I couldn’t think of anything more romantic to talk about than polyamory. Recently, it’s been having a cultural moment and in this episode, I question if open relationships create an illusion of freedom. To help answer that question I read the latest in poly “feminist” discourse, Molly Roden Winter’s novel, More: A Memoir of Open Marriage. I compare her relationship to Simone De Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Satre's and read an excerpt from The Woman Destroyed. After that, we investigate what primal panic is and how it’s activated in non-monogamous relationships by reading Polysecure by Jessica Fern.
