That's link, as in linking things together, as in a chain. Linguistics is a competitive game that will test your ability to keep a word chain going. I'm going to give you one word that starts a two word phrase or a compound word. And I'm also going to give you the first letter of the word that follows it. If you can name that second word, you get a point. If not your opponent, because this is a competitive game.

Oh, all right.

[Elliot Kalin]

We'll have a chance to guess that word and I'll also reveal to them the words. Second letter. Here's an example for you, Sean. If I gave you the clue water, and the first letter of the next word, B, you would guess water.
