On this episode of ClueLess, host Elliott Kalan invites married comedians Moshe Kasher and Natasha Leggero (co-hosts of The Endless Honeymoon podcast) to get into the ballpark with our game Take A Wild Guess! You don’t need to actually know the answer, just estimate what you think it might be, and try to get as close as you can! Then, after a bit of friction about whether DJ’ing is actually playing a musical instrument or not, we’ll put them through their paces with a round of This Or That in which Elliott asks who said a famous quote: Yoda, or Yogi Berra! Smart, less medium. Ever since I was a young boy with fingers, I've dreamed of using those fingers to play the piano. But you know how it is. Life gets in the way. You get a family, you get a job. You never get around to actually getting a piano. But there are lots of other dedicated folks who, unlike me, have a musical instrument in their lives. My question, dear listeners, is how many? Can you tell me what percentage of American adults play a musical instrument? Even if you can't, this is still clueless.
Moshe Kasher
Clueless.
Elliot Kaelin
Clueless.
Moshe Kasher
I'm clueless.
Elliot Kaelin
Welcome to Smartless Presents. Clueless, the puzzle podcast powered by an elephant in a giant hamster wheel. If that elephant stops, this whole thing shuts down. I'm Elliot Kaelin. You know me, know how I earn a living. I'll host this podcast for you, but it ain't gonna be easy. Actually, it'll probably be very easy because we've got two fantastic guests with us today, co hosts of the Endless Honeymoon podcast. Please welcome two superstars of both comedy and marriage, Natasha Leggero and Moshe Kasher. Thank you so much, Natasha and Moshe, for being back with us today.
Natasha Leggero
Elliot, thank you so much. We are such fans of the show, and thank you for keep having us back repeatedly.
Elliot Kaelin
Our pleasure.
Natasha Leggero
We really. We really love doing the show.
Moshe Kasher
Yeah, we were originally slated for. I think it was half an episode.
Elliot Kaelin
Yes.
Moshe Kasher
And we were just upgraded to recurring, so this is pretty cool.
Elliot Kaelin
It was. You know, we decided once we saw the results, we were like, we have to take advantage of this. This is lightning in a bottle. You know, I'm just glad that you're enjoying it, because for some of our guests, they're like, oh, this is fun. I want to do more. And for some of our guests, it's like they're in a Twilight Zone episode where they have to keep doing a game show podcast and they can't quite get out of it. So I'm glad this is not that one. Before we begin with the opening question, I was, do either of you play an instrument? A musical instrument of Any kind.
Moshe Kasher
That's a sore subject in our family. Right, Natasha, you do?
Natasha Leggero
Well, I have been learning piano as an adult, and I'm making my daughter learn piano. Neither of us are that interested, but I'm pushing for it. No, I actually really do enjoy it. I just have to make the time for it. And she does it well.
Moshe Kasher
And I would say I play a musical instrument, and Natasha would say, she.
Natasha Leggero
This is not a musical instrument. Honey, what you're gonna say. Okay, let's crowdsource it.
Elliot Kaelin
So what is it? I can't wait to find out what it is. Like a theremin or ocarina.
Moshe Kasher
You can't say. Okay, you can say. But then it's like you're gonna say it in a way that isn't cool.
Natasha Leggero
He is talking about DJing.
Moshe Kasher
See what I mean?
Natasha Leggero
Listen, that's not an instrument.
Moshe Kasher
Okay, fine, it's not an instrument. But.
Natasha Leggero
No, never.
Moshe Kasher
But it's like, no, I mean, but.
Natasha Leggero
It'S like, hell, no.
Moshe Kasher
It's just that it serves the same function in my life as playing a musical instrument.
Natasha Leggero
That's like saying scrolling your phone, like, appeals to.
Moshe Kasher
This is what I'm talking about. She doesn't know what she's saying. Like, she doesn't know anything about it, but thinks it's unworthy.
Elliot Kaelin
Now, here's my. What I think would be the decider on this, whether you're DJing is a musical instrument or not. Are you just playing songs together where you're doing a lot of scratching? Like, do you do a lot?
Moshe Kasher
I thank you for that.
Natasha Leggero
He does a lot of playing songs together.
Moshe Kasher
Thank you for asking, Elliot. And I appreciate the respect that is embedded in the question. I. I do a lot of fun things.
Elliot Kaelin
Okay.
Moshe Kasher
Yeah.
Elliot Kaelin
All right. Well.
Natasha Leggero
But yes. So I. My answer is 15% of Americans, and it's really sad, and it's definitely dwindling.
Elliot Kaelin
All right. And so I'm. I'm glad to hear. I've get back to the question. I appreciate that. After I didn't realize what a nerve I was. I was poking in this fan. I apologize.
Moshe Kasher
I'm. I am honestly upset right now.
Natasha Leggero
No, he's not.
Moshe Kasher
I can't keep going.
Elliot Kaelin
So you say 15, pushing a couple buttons.
Moshe Kasher
Hold on a second. Elliot.
Elliot Kaelin
Pushing.
Moshe Kasher
You don't know how deejaying works. How can you prognosticate and say what it is? And you could say, we're done.
Elliot Kaelin
It. Not. Not to get in the way and not to take sides. You could say playing piano is just pushing a couple of buttons in a way thank you.
Moshe Kasher
You know another interesting thing about piano?
Natasha Leggero
Brilliant music.
Moshe Kasher
Yes. And there's brilliant DJs.
Natasha Leggero
There's not no one.
Elliot Kaelin
There are.
Moshe Kasher
There are legendary.
Natasha Leggero
There's a brilliant DJ. They're cool. They get a lot of, you know, they get a lot of say the.
Moshe Kasher
Word, say the words so that they can't even air this episode. Natasha.
Elliot Kaelin
All right, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go back to the. So you said. So, Natasha, you said.
Natasha Leggero
I say 15.
Elliot Kaelin
15 of Americans play musical instrument. Moshe, what do you think? Do you think that's.
Moshe Kasher
And I would say it's 15% if you're doing like old fashioned boomer instruments, like what Natasha thinks. But if you include DJing, it's 85%.
Elliot Kaelin
Yes.
Natasha Leggero
If you don't include DJing, it's 15. All right, well, I hope it's more. I hope it's higher.
Elliot Kaelin
I've got some bad news for you. According to a survey from the National Endowment for the arts in 2022, which is three years ago, but there are more arts in 2022 than there is now. Our nation is no longer endowing them the same way. About 11% of American adults played a musical instrument. So actually less. But I don't think that's factoring in DJing. So maybe we're. Maybe it's up to over 50% if you, if you factor in DJing.
Natasha Leggero
Let's factor in cooking. Let's factor in painting, hiking. We should factor that in too.
Elliot Kaelin
Wow. Well, we're going to. We're going to have to leave it there, folks. Moving on. The answer was 11%.

When great design enters your life, the world feels more vibrant. The same happens when you step into a Buick. Feel the confidence of head turning style. Discover luxuries you don't have to wait for@buick.com Buick Exceptional by Design. Listeners. Did you get the answer? If so, give me a D. Give me a K. Give me an 8. Don't bother spelling that. It's not a word. But good job anyway. Sometimes the only way to answer a question like this is by taking a wild guess. That's the way it's going to be in our first first game of this episode. It's called Take a wild Guess.
Podcast Sound Effects/Interjections
If you don't know the answer, just do your best.
Elliot Kaelin
Get into the ballpark and take a wild guess. Take a Wild guess. Take a Wild Guess is a competitive trivia game, which is good considering the tension in the air right now in the. In this game. It's a competitive trivia game that's less about knowing the right answer and more about sounding convincing and feeling confident when you're making stuff up off the top of your head. Here's how it works. I'm going to ask you two questions one at a time. The answer to each is simply a number out of 100. You're just going to name a number that you think is the right answer to that question. You aren't expected to know the answer. Just try to reason it out, give it your best guess, and then the other person will have to decide whether the actual correct answer is higher or lower. Whoever's closest to the right answer gets a point. But of course, the points are meaningless, so there's no reason to get too upset about it either way. Are you ready to take a wild guess?
Moshe Kasher
Are we playing as a team?
Elliot Kaelin
No, you're playing competitively against each other on this one. Yeah.
Moshe Kasher
Great, good. I'm in that spirit and in that zone.
Elliot Kaelin
I guess you're in that mode right now, so, yeah, we'll take advantage of that. Are you ready to take a wild guess? Yes. Take a wild guess, says Natasha, since you are closer to the answer of the opening question. It was 11%, of course. And you said 15 rather than the 85. That Moshe's out there. We'll have you go first, Natasha. According to Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time, it was Last updated in 2023, so don't think of any albums. No albums in the past two years will be on the list. In the top 100 records, what number does the Beatles, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band come in at? This is the rolling stone of 2023. Their list of the top 100 albums, where does Sgt. Pepper land? What number? Seven. Seven. Okay, Moshe, do you think the answer is higher or lower than that number?
Moshe Kasher
Higher.
Elliot Kaelin
And by higher, do you mean a bigger number or higher up on the list?
Moshe Kasher
Higher on the list.
Elliot Kaelin
Higher on the list. All right, then. Actually, the answer. Then actually the point is going to go to Natasha, because it is actually lower than seven on the list. It is actually.
Natasha Leggero
What'd it get?
Elliot Kaelin
It's actually number 24. Just barely crack in the top 25.
Natasha Leggero
But it's all of the albums in the world.
Moshe Kasher
But it's sergeant Pepper's. What Is that the highest ranking Beatles record on the list?
Elliot Kaelin
I don't know. Hold that thought. Hold that thought. We're gonna have some. Yeah, well, we can get to that. But Natasha gets the point because her answer was closest to the number. Okay, moving on to this.
Moshe Kasher
24. I'm sorry, 24. It's only 100 albums. It's almost in the second quarter. I mean, that's crazy, but I mean.
Elliot Kaelin
You gotta think about all the other great albums that came out in history. There was whatever Alb. That Chumbawamba song was on.
Moshe Kasher
Sure, yeah. Yeah.
Elliot Kaelin
There's Informer by Snow. You know, all those great songs. Question number two.
Moshe Kasher
You know, I was just talking about Snow recently, and I believe he's living a good life as an A and R executive in Canada. He's still in the industry. Oh, that's great. He's not a joke. He's living a good life.
Elliot Kaelin
That's great. That's wonderful. It's nice when someone becomes not a cautionary tale, you know? Now, question number two. So Moshe will go first with this one. Dealing with the full 500 Greatest Albums list. How many times do you think the Beatles appear on this list? Now, this is the 500 greatest albums of all time, according to Rolling Stone, in 2023. How many times do you think the Beatles appear on this list? How many albums do they have on the list? Let me know and then Natasha, you'll tell me whether you think the answer is higher or lower than that.
Moshe Kasher
I'm gonna say four.
Elliot Kaelin
Four. Four times, Natasha.
Natasha Leggero
Okay. Now, interesting thing about the Beatles. They don't have a lot of albums.
Moshe Kasher
Huh? What?
Natasha Leggero
I don't think they have that many albums.
Moshe Kasher
They got a lot of albums.
Natasha Leggero
They were only a band for 10 years.
Moshe Kasher
They got a lot of albums.
Natasha Leggero
I'm gonna say it's higher.
Elliot Kaelin
Higher as in more like a. Like a bigger number. Right.
Natasha Leggero
I think there's five or more.
Moshe Kasher
That sort of belies your general premise.
Natasha Leggero
I know. Well, then I changed my mind once you started giving me more clues.
Moshe Kasher
Their great albums are right. The White Album, Sgt. Pepper's Revolver. And then I'm giving him one extra for I'm not Help. Help. I doubt help.
Natasha Leggero
Nobody wants help.
Elliot Kaelin
Maybe help.
Moshe Kasher
Because it was so. Such a big deal.
Elliot Kaelin
So, Moshe, you said four. Natasha, you says it's higher than four. Natasha. You're right. You get the point on that one too. They appear on the list nine times.
Moshe Kasher
Wow.
Elliot Kaelin
Let It Be. Help. A Hard Day's Night.
Moshe Kasher
Let It Be.
Elliot Kaelin
Meet the Beatles. Which is. I think it's a compilation album. Rubber Soul, The White Album, Sgt. Pepper's Revolver, and Abbey Road, they have some good music. Beatles, they're pretty good.
Natasha Leggero
Can you imagine being in a band where everyone's up your ass, everyone thinks you're the best thing that ever.
Moshe Kasher
I know.
Elliot Kaelin
Happened.
Moshe Kasher
It would be hard. I mean, I experienced that as a comedian, but I'm not in a band. It's just me. You know what I mean? So that's. It's easy.
Elliot Kaelin
The hard part for you would be sharing that with the other members of the band.
Moshe Kasher
Yeah, that's right. That's right. I feel kind of foolish that I said four, because I was. I forgot. Let it be. I forgot Abbey Road. Those are. I mean, there are.
Elliot Kaelin
In fairness to you, I'm gonna say that after you found out sergeant Pepper was so relatively low on the list, you were like, these people are nuts. They don't know what they're talking about. They wouldn't recognize. It's all gonna be third eye blind and blink 182 albums on this list. Hold on.
Moshe Kasher
The dog is barking. We're worried you're gonna hear it. Okay, we're gonna pull him in. He's upset about the sergeant Peppers thing.
Elliot Kaelin
Honestly, I understand. My dad is enormous Beatles family. This is the music he grew up with. He really loves it. And when my sister and I were young, we really enjoy. Look up the number. And my dad goes. I just remember he would say, I don't hate any Beatles songs. I love all of them. But if I was going to hate one of them, it would be that.
Moshe Kasher
It would be that.
Elliot Kaelin
You did fantastic on that, Natasha. You ran away with that game. 2 out of 2.
Moshe Kasher
Dominate.
Elliot Kaelin
You dominated it.
Disneyland Announcer
You won't believe everything I just saw. I went to Disneyland first. I went to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse live. And I danced with Goofy at night. I saw this parade. Everything was glowing. Sorcerer Mickey was there. And Lightning McQueen. Oh, and guess what? Bluey and Bingo are coming for real life.

Listeners, did you do as well as Natasha? If not, don't blame yourself. Maybe it was computer error. Unless you are a computer, in which case this is all on you. You gotta update your software. But don't do that now. You need to stay awake and ready for today's main game. It's called this or that. This or that.
Podcast Sound Effects/Interjections
Will you pick that or will you pick this?
Elliot Kaelin
Not enough pop songs have the words conundrum and confronted in them. That's what I learned from that sting. In this or that, I'm going to give you quotes that were uttered by two of the most quotable people who ever lived. Yoda from Star wars and Yogi Berra, hall of Fame catcher for the New York Yankees. And I'm kind of stretching the definition of people who lived to include Yoda, who is a fictional alien. I understand that. Anyway, if you think the quote is something Yoda said, you can say Yoda. If you think it's something Yogi Berra said, say Yogi. That's it. That's the entirety of it. Do you think Yoda said it or Yogi Bear said it?
Natasha Leggero
Ready?
Elliot Kaelin
Okay.
Natasha Leggero
Do we just say it?
Elliot Kaelin
Yes. And this is a cooperative.
Moshe Kasher
Say it now.
Elliot Kaelin
Actually, you're working again. Yeah. Say, say Yogi.
Moshe Kasher
Yogi.
Podcast Sound Effects/Interjections
This or that or that.
Elliot Kaelin
Question number one. Do or do not. There is no try.
Natasha Leggero
Easy, Yogi.
Moshe Kasher
No, Yoda.
Elliot Kaelin
That's right, it's Yoda. That's right, it is Yoda. From the impression X back. Question number two. You can observe a lot just by watching.
Natasha Leggero
Okay.
Elliot Kaelin
Yogi.
Moshe Kasher
Yogi.
Elliot Kaelin
That's right. That's Yogi Vera. Number three. If you ask me anything I don't know, I'm not going to answer.
Natasha Leggero
Yoda.
Moshe Kasher
Yoda.
Elliot Kaelin
No, that was a Yogi. Yogi Berra said that. Question number four. Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose.
Moshe Kasher
Yoda.
Elliot Kaelin
Yes, that was Yoda from Revenge of the Sith. Question number five, You've got to be very careful if you don't know where you are going, because you might not get there.
Moshe Kasher
Yogi.
Natasha Leggero
Yo, Yoda.
Elliot Kaelin
What's your answer? Which one would you like to go with?
Moshe Kasher
We're in competition still.
Elliot Kaelin
No, it's not cooperating.
Moshe Kasher
I don't want that. I don't want that.
Natasha Leggero
All right, I agree with Moshe.
Elliot Kaelin
Yogi is the answer. Yes, that's a Yogi Bear. Number six. You must unlearn what you have learned.
Natasha Leggero
That sounds like Yoda.
Moshe Kasher
It is Yoda.
Elliot Kaelin
That's right. It's Yoda from the Empire Strikes Back. Question number seven.
Moshe Kasher
Yoda.
Natasha Leggero
Yoda.
Elliot Kaelin
That reminds me of one of my favorite commercials in the history of anything. When they. For the episode Revenge of the Movie, Revenge of the Sith, when they put out the commercials that highlighted the Yoda lightsaber fight scene, and it said Yoda, man. And I was like, this is. I can't believe this is how they're advertising a Star wars movie.
Moshe Kasher
You know, I went back and rewatched the prequels in the last few years, and I have a different feeling about them than when I saw them in the theaters. I think they are actually good in a way. But. But there is a. There is a Full House joke and a. I think a Schwing joke that Jar Jar Binks makes that is so crazy that that made the cut. Oh, here's another fact about Jar Jar.
Elliot Kaelin
Okay.
Moshe Kasher
I always assumed in my memory that the Gungans talked like that.
Elliot Kaelin
No, it's just when I rewatched the.
Moshe Kasher
Movie, it's just him. He's just the Rasta. The regular Gungans are like. They just talk normally. It's just Jar Jar.
Elliot Kaelin
Yeah, he's just. That's one of the reasons he's not hanging around with them a lot is they don't know.
Moshe Kasher
I remember. I remember what it is. A Full House joke. He farts and he says, ooh, exqueeze me. How did that pop culture reference from a sitcom making it into the Star wars metaverse?
Elliot Kaelin
Question number seven. This is. Is this a Yogi or a Yoda? If the world were perfect, it wouldn't be.
Moshe Kasher
That's. That's Yogi all the way.
Elliot Kaelin
Sure.
Natasha Leggero
Yogi.
Elliot Kaelin
Ne. Boo. Boo. That's right. Yogi Vera. Question number eight. We are what they grow beyond. That is the burden of all masters.
Natasha Leggero
I mean, definitely Yoda.
Moshe Kasher
That's Yoda.
Elliot Kaelin
That's Yoda right there.
Moshe Kasher
Yoda, man.
Elliot Kaelin
Question number nine. Always in motion is the future.
Moshe Kasher
This one's so. Come on, Yoda.
Natasha Leggero
Oh, Yoda.
Elliot Kaelin
Question number 10. The future ain't what it used to be.
Moshe Kasher
You can't do.
Elliot Kaelin
This is.
Moshe Kasher
See, you're not. This game is flawed. You can't do the syntax that they're famous for. You can't do the opposite, predicate, whatever. And then. And then the folksy, charming English. That's Yogi.
Elliot Kaelin
You're saying that. Yes, that is Yogi Bear. You're saying that Yoda never used the word ain't. What if he goes. He goes. Do it or not. There ain't no try. He could have said that. Question number 11. Question number 11. I never said most of the things I said. Yogi.
Natasha Leggero
Yogi.
Elliot Kaelin
Yeah, it's gotta be Yogi Baron. It is.
Natasha Leggero
That's someone who's drunk.
Elliot Kaelin
And finally, question number 12. Truly wonderful the mind of a child is.
Moshe Kasher
Again, if you just stop. If it had been truly wonderful, the mind of a child, it might have been a mystery, but it's Yoda.
Elliot Kaelin
That's right, it's Yoda. That is also in the. That's also the scene where the child has just told them how they are being tricked. And Yoda goes, truly wonderful. The mind of a child is only a child could be devious enough to figure out what the bad guys are doing.
Natasha Leggero
Elliot, I'm thinking you could do these all day.
Elliot Kaelin
Oh, yeah, probably. I've got a few extras in the memory bank that we haven't gotten to.
Podcast Sound Effects/Interjections
That's the conundrum you're confronted with.
Elliot Kaelin
So out of 12 questions, you got 11 of them. Very nice work. Of course, even Jedi Masters and Hall of Fame catchers still quiver in fear before one. The Megaclue Muh Mumamamama Mega Clue. That's right, we have a Mega Clue question. Today's Mega Clue goes thusly. Coming in at a height of 0.66 meters, or roughly 2ft, 1 1/2 inches tall, Yoda is about 3 1/2ft shorter than the current incarnation of what Eastern spiritual leader that George Lucas once described Yoda as. A little version of. What spiritual leader did George Lucas once describe Yoda as a little version of?
Moshe Kasher
This is the Dalai Lama.
Elliot Kaelin
You're right, it is the Dalai Lama, which technically means by the transitive property that the Dalai Lama is just a big version of Yoda. You know, if Yoda's a little version.
Natasha Leggero
Of the Dalai Lama, I love that.
Elliot Kaelin
Yeah. Listeners, did you get the answer? If so, you have just earned your GED in the state of Kentucky. Congratulations. What an achievement this episode has been, has been a lot of fun. I've enjoyed our talks about DJing, Yoda, Yogi, and all the all things that go along with those. Unfortunately, I have to say, Rumpelstiltskin just arrived to claim the firstborn child I promised him in exchange for turning straw into podcasts. I really need to go sort this out. I'd rather not give him my firstborn child. But before I go, I'd like to thank Natasha Leggero and Moshe Kasher and for giving this episode their all and for giving us another peek inside their podcast, Endless Honeymoon. Tell us one more time about Endless Honeymoon.

Moshe Kasher
Wait, so you're saying you like Afro House?
Elliot Kaelin
That's better.
Moshe Kasher
From the 2000s and mid 2000s, you have an opinion on which era you're playing?
Natasha Leggero
Like 90s?
Moshe Kasher
Anyway, listen, DJing is a beautiful thing. So is the Endless Honeymoon podcast. So is Clueless. Thank you for having us on.

This episode features a whirlwind of trivia, playful rivalry, and cultural critiques, enhanced by Moshe Kasher and Natasha Leggero’s married-couple banter. The debates over “what counts as a musical instrument,” the surprise at the Beatles’ album rankings, and the confusion between Yoda’s and Yogi Berra’s wisdom create a fun, engaging atmosphere. Not only does Natasha clinch a hard-won trivia victory, but listeners also get a taste of the duo’s mutual ribbing and their approach to life, art, and Star Wars.
