Shane
Hello, welcome to Smosh Mouth. I'm Shane and today I am joined by the games team Alex and Spencer. Thank you for being here.
Alex
Thank you for having us.
Spencer
Seriously.
Shane
Yeah. Amanda's out for a little bit, so we're just vibing today.
Spencer
Where is she? She's in Massachusetts.
Shane
Yeah, she's somewhere. I don't care. She's gone.
Alex
No, she was. We were at the airport because we just came back from Gen Con. But yesterday, late last night, I don't even know how it got.
Spencer
12 hours ago we got home, but.
Alex
Started sending me like every picture from her trip to Maine, I guess. And it was the most mom coded shit of all time. And I was like kind of reacting to each one, like, whoa, awesome. Like, blah, blah. But it was so similar to like when my mom. And then my mom texted me a picture. Cause when I was in New York this morning and I was like, this is just like, Amanda.
Shane
Yeah. My mom will send photos of just like a landscape. Like, it'll be like the sun is setting. And she'll send a photo to our big family group chat.
Spencer
And it's like the worst photo you've ever seen. And you're like, did you even think about the subject?
Shane
I make sure to type that out and be like, mom, you should have thought this through.
Spencer
I sent a screenshot back with like, I drew lines and airs. You should clean up, like, over here. I think you can touch up the contrast a bit.
Shane
I'm gonna start doing really crappy fan art. Of all the photos my mom sent in group chat.
Alex
I make sure I'm like, mom, can you send this to Brennan for color?
Shane
Can you edit those, please?
Spencer
My sister sends a video of her girlfriend playing softball. I'm like, can we fix the sound? It's.
Shane
It's really bad. So, yeah, you guys were at Gen Con board game convention.
Alex
Yeah, we were. Did knee deep in board games. And board games, of course.
Spencer
And women.
Alex
And women. No, that was. That was. That was possibly my favorite thing. It was. It was in the live stream and it was where we were playing Mario or something.
Spencer
It was a don't win, don't win slash win live stream charity event.
Alex
And we kind of explained what it was to. To Angela and she was like, oh, so you guys must be getting laid left and right there. I was like, I cannot emphasize how many board games we played, how much sex we were not having. But the whole time I was trying to think of like, I was trying to workshop like the perfect joke. Like the anti sex beds at Gen Con.
Spencer
Oh, My God, I forgot about that. Do you remember the anti sex beds at the last? Remember, they were like the beds that were so fragile, if you were to soak in them, it would collapse at.
Shane
The Cause I guess we're not allowed to say that word.
Spencer
Oh, you're right.
Shane
Sleep that at the O Games.
Alex
They weren't owing in Paris.
Shane
They were not owing at the O Games.
Alex
Who is?
Shane
See, I've always heard that at the. I've always heard that at the O Village, that. That tons of sex.
Spencer
I took her. I took her to O Village.
Shane
I took her to O Town. Hey, man, I just got back from O Town. They said they didn't know you.
Alex
My dad loved O Town music growing up. It was a Motown joke.
Spencer
Yeah, you're not allowed to freak it. Freak it at O Town.
Shane
No cardboard beds.
Alex
Yeah. I think if someone put me in a room and was like, hey, here's a bed. You can't have sex on it.
Spencer
Challenge pit.
Alex
Yeah, like, challenge pit.
Spencer
Challenge pit. We have sexy sex.
Alex
I feel like the more you kind of try and discourage something, the more like, people are gonna be like, well, I'm gonna.
Spencer
Well, it's like the teacher in class being like, all right, be quiet. Yeah, I'm gonna have sex in the beds.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
God. Listen, I'm gonna. I have to. Now that you've told me I can't, teacher. I simply have.
Spencer
But that wasn't like. That wasn't part of the news of this. I guess they.
Alex
I did see like a TikTok of someone jumping on. It was like the, like, gymnastics team or something. And they were like. They were like some.
Spencer
They're the ones who could fuck in the anti sex bed.
Alex
Jesus Christ. No, but they were jumping.
Spencer
They kept the pole vault guy.
Alex
Yeah. Oh, the pole vault guy.
Spencer
He would destroy the bed with his.
Alex
I think we're gonna say that because I think that's gonna. For another time.
Shane
We talked about that last week.
Alex
Yeah, they talked about penis pole.
Shane
We had our own Games episode.
Alex
The oh, Games.
Shane
But anyways. So gen con.
Spencer
Oh, yeah. Yeah.
Alex
No sex.
Shane
No sex.
Spencer
G G Con.
Alex
But I did. As we were driving in, as I was driving in, I thought of. I. When we first got to the hotel, which is a really cool hotel, the first thing we noticed was like, the shower, it had one of those kind of like. It just had like a clear, like an opaque door.
Spencer
Like translucent.
Alex
Yeah. So like, if someone's like, in the shower and you're just like, out in like the. Where the beds are.
Shane
Yeah, yeah.
Spencer
Spencer steps in the shower while I'm lying in bed and I can see his full silhouette.
Alex
Well, I know I tested, I was closed, but I tested, I was like, we're, first of all, we're going to test this.
Spencer
Yeah.
Alex
And we're like, we may have a problem like this.
Shane
I've noticed that with a lot of hotels. A lot of hotels, the bathroom doors are basically see through and a lot of them don't lock or they.
Spencer
Ours was not even a door. It was just a, it was a sliding door.
Shane
My theory, because I've been to several hotels where that's the case, my theory is that people might like die in bathrooms a lot or like this serious medical, medical emergency might happen so that they can go in and they can be like, there's someone in the bathroom and they're on the floor.
Spencer
That's really.
Shane
That, that's my theory.
Alex
The shower is pretty slippery.
Spencer
It was.
Alex
Yeah. But, but then what we were, we found, we figured out there was a curtain. But I mean I was also, also thinking like, what scenario would you ever want to like, what would it be like? It would never be erotic to see someone shower.
Spencer
I'd be slobbering like if, staring at it.
Alex
Like if I, if I'm, if I'm showering, like there is nothing like less erotic than like someone just like showering. I'm like, I'm getting in the grooves, bro. I'm cleaning.
Spencer
I've got a big brush.
Shane
Yeah, you don't want to see it.
Alex
Yeah, no, it's like, and that's like, you know like in movies when like people are getting in the shower, they're like, blah, blah, blah. It's like, no, I'm like, I'm getting my snot out. I'm getting my bitten.
Spencer
Yeah, hawk to.
Alex
I'm hawk to.
Shane
No, the idea of, of those types of hotels make me very uncomfortable because if I'm in the bathroom, if I'm showering, whatever. I want full privacy.
Alex
No, absolutely.
Shane
I have one time I went to a Korean spa where, you know, it's like you're kind of out in the open. Do you go to shower? I went to Wii spa. This was years ago, but you know, you have to shower before you go get into the, the like pools or whatever and just showering when other people are around. I was so uncomfortable. Yeah, this sucks. I hate this.
Alex
I've never, I've never really had to do that. I. But we spot has been on my list. But everyone's always like, it is cool. Like, look out. We got to get naked. I'm like, honestly, like, the older I get them, I'm like, I like, bro, if you look, that's on you. Like, that sucks.
Shane
Yeah, no, the. The old dudes at Wii Spa did not give a shit. Yeah, I really admired that.
Spencer
The regulars.
Shane
I was like, I. I want to learn from this.
Alex
The season pass.
Shane
I want to be like, that. Season pass holders.
Alex
And it's funny because I literally almost know nothing about Wii Spa. People go there to relax, and you have to get fully naked.
Shane
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You did have to be fully naked in the main area or in the beginning area where it's, you know, split up by sex. But then later on, you get a shirt and, like, some shorts, and then you're in this, like, gigantic area where everyone's at.
Alex
This is like a Roman bathhouse.
Shane
Yeah, it has those vibes.
Alex
Korean. There's like, salt.
Shane
Salt rooms where you can lay on salt.
Spencer
Would you go to the Gen Con Spa?
Alex
I would go to the gen.
Shane
The Gen Con Spa where you play board games.
Alex
I will say this was kind of the first con. You know, I've always heard of people. It's like, oh, like, someone teach them how to use deodorant. There were a few times when I did get whiffs of, like.
Spencer
No, it was a very, like, clean experience.
Alex
No, I'm. I'm saying this was kind of the first kind of experience where I did smell a couple.
Spencer
Oh, funny. I don't think I did.
Shane
I have such a terrible sense of smell that I never noticed. Bo and I to the gym all the time, and I don't even notice there. And then occasionally, like, once in a blue moon, someone will walk past, and it's. It's like I. A physical force.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
Hits me and I'm like, damn, that's crazy.
Alex
Now I really. You know, this is one of my million excuses to never work out. I cannot stand the smell of the gym.
Shane
It's. It's.
Spencer
Yeah, it can be work out elsewhere. Outside.
Shane
Yeah, it depends on the gym. Some. Some are bad, some are okay.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
There was a gym I worked out at once that was, like, in the basement level, and that was horrendous because it's just, like, dense.
Alex
That's how my, like, apartment we have, like, a little gym. And. Yeah, that's. That's the. It takes me. It's like, almost a nostalgic smell that takes me back to middle school. And, like, you know, we had to use, like, the weight room, and I'm just like, I can't do it, man.
Shane
Yeah. Rough.
Alex
Yeah. Well, you to working out.
Shane
That's okay. We're talking about video games today.
Alex
Yeah. So thank God.
Spencer
Yeah. Or board games.
Shane
Board games. Video games. All the shit. We're at the bored AF table.
Alex
Yeah. Many, many games have been played.
Shane
This is a good table.
Alex
This is a great table.
Spencer
Uniquely geek. Thank you.
Shane
I feel like we don't utilize a lot of layers of it.
Alex
No. The one thing we've never done is there is a full on. Like it is a whiteboard. Yeah, there's a whiteboard.
Shane
There's a full whiteboard in this table. No, it's.
Spencer
We've yet to find it.
Shane
We have to unlock it. It is dlc.
Alex
So I was sitting here after and I was kind of playing like this and then I summoned. I was. I was going to try and do like a Hellraiser joke where it's like, you know, if you're, if you're playing with the table enough, like you're playing with the box. Yeah. I was like, you know, then it opens up and like a new board game emerges, but nice. And I, like, I had to talk my way through that joke instead of.
Shane
Just saying no, that was cool.
Spencer
That was clever.
Shane
Cool.
Alex
Sometimes, you know, you gotta see. You gotta see how the, the, the. What's the expression? How the cookie's made. Dude, dude, I'm losing it.
Spencer
I'm losing it.
Alex
Here's the thing.
Spencer
If you're talking your way through the jokes, through the metaphors, if I don't.
Alex
Stop talking, I'll die. Shane.
Spencer
What, what did you want to hear from us, bro?
Alex
Just, just, just ask us something.
Spencer
Yeah, all right. We were at Gen Con.
Shane
I don't know. Okay, so Gen Con was cool. We got that out of the way.
Spencer
Great.
Alex
Yeah, dude.
Spencer
No, Gen Con was great. This was, this was. We went. This is our second year at Gen Con.
Shane
Very cool.
Alex
Met a lot of really cool people.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
It was you who mentioned it though, about how Smosh Games is one of the biggest, like, board game channels on YouTube.
Spencer
We're not trying to toot our own horns, but, but like, if you look.
Alex
At raw numbers, raw data, like, I think, I think our numbers. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a bigger.
Spencer
Yeah.
Alex
Board, like, channel that mostly does board games. And it's. And it's funny because, you know, before I really started here, I didn't fuck with board games.
Spencer
That's hilarious.
Shane
I've mentioned it before. I've hardly played much board games in my personal life.
Alex
Yeah.
Spencer
Crazy. I just thank God I showed up.
Shane
This is the thing though. I love board games. I did play some when I was a kid. I recently bought my favorite board game from as when I was a kid.
Spencer
Whoa.
Shane
Bought it? HeroQuest.
Spencer
Oh, that's right. Yeah. You're telling us. We saw them at it.
Shane
It's this insane board game that I have at home and I'm like, I can't. I need to like, get a group.
Spencer
Together to play this.
Shane
Yeah. If Courtney and I can just play HeroQuest. We have been playing Quacks though. Unbelievable.
Spencer
Made me really happy that you bought it because like that, that's the kind of game that you look at it and you're like, I am never going to play this. Like, you really have to be kind of forced to play it to like, understand it's the parallel play of it all.
Shane
Yeah, it's.
Spencer
It's really special game.
Alex
That's what I like most is the parallel play aspect.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
So your family growing up was not a board game family?
Alex
No, no. We would do War with cards.
Spencer
Okay, that's really boring.
Shane
That sucks, dude. That's really awful.
Spencer
I used to. My sister and then we'd just be like, this is awful. It'll never end.
Alex
Yeah. Yeah. And then I never played Monopoly. I never played like any of that shit. And then we had a. We had one where you.
Shane
Where you.
Alex
Where you pass the pig. You like roll these pigs, dude, I. Yeah, we have.
Spencer
It was great.
Shane
What?
Alex
So it's like you.
Spencer
We should play that here.
Alex
Little like. Like plastic pigs and you roll them and depending on how the land. On how they land, that's how many points you get.
Spencer
So if it's like. I think the special one was. It was snout front feet. That was like the.
Shane
Roll the pig.
Alex
That was literally the entire.
Spencer
Past the pig.
Alex
Yeah, you pass. But then, but then another gateway one was Munchkin, which I've. I get everyone played. But then the other one was Farkle. We have not played Farkle on the channel. Shout out to all my Farklers at home.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
Mother Farkle.
Alex
Mother Farkles. And then meet the Farkle. Meet the Farkles. Yeah, Farkle. I gotta make everyone play Farkle and pass the pig.
Spencer
Pass the pig was Farkle.
Alex
I like. I think we do like a childhood games.
Shane
Pass the pig. Sounds like a chosen game.
Alex
Yeah, so.
Shane
So that's cool.
Alex
We just couldn't think of anything chosen to say.
Shane
So that's where that ends.
Spencer
We gotta show you our chosen shirts that we got at Gen Con.
Alex
Dude, there's sick. Yeah. So it was the. It's chosen design but it's with three dragons or a hydra. Sick.
Shane
I sometimes controversial thought. I sometimes think about like, should I expand the chosen's wardrobe? Wardrobe Some other gas.
Spencer
Do we open the like what's his restor fit?
Shane
Yeah, it's.
Alex
It's obviously the Leon Kennedy jacket.
Shane
Yeah, definitely. I was saying beforehand too about how I wish Magic the Gathering was something we could play on the channel. And I haven't played much Magic the Gathering, but there's more card game.
Alex
We're actively. Because everyone behind camera right now, they're.
Spencer
Fucking every single person.
Shane
You guys like get together.
Spencer
We play magic a lot. I play with my other. I play a lot of fucking magic. And I think like, you know, I've been playing for. I've been playing consistently for like four years now. I love it. I play Commander specifically and Sealed, but I don't really fuck with anything else. It was always like, oh, I can meet some friends playing. I'm not gonna meet any really cool people off of this or anything. But this year at Gen Con, I'm.
Shane
Not gonna meet any cool people.
Spencer
I'm not gonna meet any. Just a bunch of fucking nerds. I don't know. But this year Gen Con, like. So we spoke to the magic team. They gave me a birthday present.
Alex
Yeah, that was huge. That was my favorite bit is anytime we run anyone at the booth and I'd be like, and it's his birthday.
Spencer
It kind of only worked on magic. And they gave me. They like. They took out a bunch of shit, just like gave it to me. It's like a bunch of packs, a bunch of starter decks and yeah. So I was stoked.
Shane
I don't play Magic the Gathering. I don't play any card games. But I do miss because when I was a kid I was really into Pokemon and Yu Gi.
Spencer
Oh yeah.
Shane
I miss like getting booster packs. The satisfaction I would get from opening up a booster pack of np.
Alex
I know you could get so into magic.
Spencer
I think you could.
Shane
I think I've played. I have played some.
Alex
Okay.
Spencer
No, I think Commander specifically is what really got me into it because it's like the way it works is you have one card and that's like the whole. Your whole deck kind of wraps around that one card. And then every other card in the deck is a different card. So you have 100 cards with different names.
Shane
Cool.
Spencer
So you're not like putting a bunch of the same stuff inside and so you get to have your pet card and you can play it Whenever you want. Like, you don't have to shuffle it in or anything.
Alex
See, that's what I couldn't believe is that you have a hundred fucking cards and, like, do you like them?
Spencer
I do, yeah.
Alex
That's crazy.
Shane
Brennan's over there shaking his head.
Spencer
He's just like, we all know our 100 cards. We fucking know all of our decks. Yeah. And then you kind of just figure out, like, okay, kind of. Right now, I would need that one card, and I'll just try and draw as many cards I can to get to that other one and blah, blah, blah. It's great. But I met a bunch of designers, like, game designers at Gen Con, and a lot of them also really fuck with Magic.
Alex
It seemed like the game designer's favorite game.
Shane
Yeah, interesting.
Spencer
And then I get in the Uber to go home, and I'm talking to him, and I'm like, oh, yeah, I was at the board game. I was at Gen Con. He's like, oh, I know Gen Con. I used to do a catan podcast. That's so funny. Okay.
Alex
And you weren't at Gen Con.
Spencer
And then I was like, okay, what other games do you play? He's like, oh, well, I actually don't play any other board games. I play magic. And I was like, what the hell is going on here? That's insane. And so I. Yeah, we follow each other.
Alex
Wait, wait. The funny thing is you got to hang out with the creator Bopit at Gen. Congratulations.
Spencer
He got drinks. I did. Yeah, I met the crazy. Yeah, we got drinks together. Bop it.
Shane
I don't know.
Spencer
Bop it? What the fuck are you talking.
Alex
It's right there, bro.
Spencer
Oh. Oh, Bop it.
Shane
Oh, I thought you were saying a creator's name. Like, his name was Boppitt.
Alex
John Boppitt.
Spencer
You thought?
Shane
Yeah, like a YouTube handle or something like Boppit.
Alex
Oh, that makes sense.
Shane
You're saying you met, like.
Spencer
Yeah, I met John Bopit. Quite frankly, I forget his name, but he was really cool.
Shane
Well, what a convenient name to have.
Spencer
But I also met the guy that made Love is Blind.
Alex
Oh, the game board.
Spencer
The board game, yeah. Not the original one, but, like, you know, we played the Love is Blind board game on the channel. It's kind of one of my favorite videos that we've done. And we met with Spin Master, and kind of one of their big news for us was like, hey, we redesigned the game.
Shane
Oh, shit.
Spencer
So now it's. Remember how it's like, oh, you're in the pods and you're all answering questions, and so everyone can see what everyone's answers are. So now it's hidden identity. So you were secretly answering all the questions as, like, a specific color, I think. And then you're like, okay, I am really fucking with blue. So I'm gonna ask. Okay, blue. I'm going to propose. And then the blue player will reveal themselves.
Shane
I love that. That actually makes sense.
Spencer
Yes.
Alex
Cause now you don't know who shall be playing it.
Spencer
We absolutely will. But I met the guy who redesigned it.
Shane
Okay.
Spencer
His whole job was like, okay, I have this really clunky mess of a game. Cause it was pretty clunky originally. I still really liked it.
Alex
But the moments it created, I mean, some of those are really iconic moments.
Spencer
No, seriously.
Shane
But Love is Blind is. It's like a fan favorite. That might be. People might argue that's like the best video we've had in recent years.
Spencer
Yeah, no, I mean, those moments were huge. Getting you guys, like, up in front of this table and proposing, I think that was what made it really fun, was we were kind of getting out and.
Shane
And in that first one, Courtney proposes to me. And I. I declined it because I knew.
Alex
No, that was.
Shane
I'm not kidding. Part of the reason I declined it is because I knew what was gonna be happening soon. And I was like, this is gonna be extra funny in hindsight.
Spencer
When Courtney did it, I was like, balls. I could not believe she fucking did that. I couldn't believe she did it. And then you said no. And I. That was.
Shane
I was like, it's gonna be so fucking funny to say no.
Alex
Three glasses.
Shane
Yeah, three glasses.
Spencer
I was thinking about that earlier when we were talking.
Shane
Yeah, welcome. Turns out I need them, dude. Not desperately. I'm nearsighted, so, I mean, does make a difference close up. But far away now I can read stuff. Far away.
Alex
Read your predictions from this year.
Shane
I will.
Spencer
I read the board.
Shane
Shane's predictions. I will shake Markiplier's hand. Smash will be on Good Morning America. Which happened.
Alex
Yeah. We will talk.
Spencer
We got to.
Shane
We talked. We talked about that weeks ago. Daniel Sharkey, shout out. Thank you. Thank you.
Spencer
What a day. I remember that day.
Shane
Thank you, Zeus, for striking him with lightning so that he can go on Good Morning America. He's okay.
Alex
I cannot think of, like, a more badass like Flight.
Spencer
Did we ask him for the footage?
Shane
Oh, we need to. Well, it's filming America.
Alex
Was he filming?
Shane
Well, there's. There's security. There's security footage of him on the ground.
Spencer
It's like the news is like, okay. And here he is mowing the lawn and then it hard cuts. He's on the ground.
Shane
On the ground. Struck by lightning.
Spencer
It's an incredible video.
Shane
Yeah, no, he was. He was fully struck by lightning and unconscious and they, they cut it out of the news.
Spencer
But I know that him and his family have it. Yeah, yeah, all uncut.
Shane
Anyways, I can read all those predictions on the other side of that.
Spencer
Which ones have been checked off yet, bud.
Shane
So we checked off.
Spencer
We're already at August.
Shane
We checked off Good Morning America. We checked off some others. I forget. They're also. They're blocked the rest of that list. But we've had some things to do.
Alex
Oh no. See my glasses. I can see through that.
Shane
Okay, that's cool. Yeah, I think I'm.
Spencer
My glasses are showing me the ones that you're going to check off later on.
Shane
What are your guys prescriptions?
Alex
I don't fucking know.
Spencer
I don't know. I don't know Mine. I know one. My eyes are different.
Shane
Yeah, mine were slightly different.
Alex
Oh, should we switch?
Shane
Oh yeah. Let's see who's got the strongest prescription.
Spencer
Who looks cuter in someone else's glasses.
Shane
So.
Spencer
God. Wait, they're all like different colors too. This is so cool.
Shane
Yeah.
Spencer
Ooh, I'm sorry. I just rubbed on them.
Shane
Okay.
Alex
I rubbed my wife.
Shane
This isn't really changing anything.
Alex
This is actually. This is crazy.
Spencer
Who am I wearing? You.
Alex
You're wearing me. I'm tonight. I'm wearing Spencer.
Shane
I'm now wearing Alex's glasses. It really didn't change.
Spencer
Thank you.
Shane
Anything.
Spencer
Yours is changing a lot of shit for me.
Shane
So this is you. Spencer.
Spencer
Oh, I'm Spencer.
Alex
So let's now let's. Well no, you two. Yeah, let's go around one more time because then I think this will be everyone wearing everyone.
Shane
Okay.
Alex
Dude, no Amanda, but clean this shit, bro.
Spencer
Amanda, can I get a glasses white please?
Alex
Amanda.
Shane
Every time I'm struggling with this. This one.
Spencer
Yeah, yeah, this was. This was a little easier to see than those but yeah. Spencer has a stronger prescription than ours.
Alex
Really?
Spencer
I think so, yeah.
Alex
That's crazy.
Spencer
My prescription isn't that like strong as you can see.
Shane
Yeah, everything's definitely a lot harder to read now with this. Not crazy, but it's definitely everything.
Alex
Guys, I'm gonna toot my horn. I really like my glasses. Y'all both look great in these guys.
Spencer
Fuck Mary Kill. Spencer and Alex.
Shane
Fuckmary Kill are glasses.
Spencer
Oh yeah, these are a little. They're a little dirty.
Alex
No, but that's my favorite not my favorite bit. But, you know, Amanda will come up and Amanda's like a close talker. And Amanda will be like, your glasses are fun. Filthy.
Shane
As she's breathing on him. Yeah.
Spencer
Rubbing on them.
Shane
Your glasses are filthy.
Alex
Oh, my God. I. I miss her.
Shane
Okay.
Alex
Sorry for being vulnerable.
Shane
Weird, man.
Alex
I miss Amanda. She's such a warm presence.
Shane
It is strange. It is. I will say I was definitely nervous because, you know, we're recording this episode, another episode today. It's definitely like. Oh, shit. Like, she is so good at keeping a conversation going that I realize I rely on it very heavily.
Spencer
Really?
Alex
And we're.
Shane
Yeah, yeah.
Spencer
And now we're all sitting here.
Shane
Now we're all sitting here. Like, yeah, man. Anyways, cool.
Alex
So I saw Alex's peanut.
Spencer
I saw that clip going around where I said that. I was like, oh, you and I are sleeping in separate beds tonight.
Alex
Oh, yeah. Well, they're also. We did the show and I. When I got home, I saw this compilation because I really had to pee the whole time.
Spencer
Oh, my God.
Alex
And I literally thought I was going to piss my pants on this thing on that. We did a show.
Shane
We did a show for clips from that.
Alex
Yeah.
Spencer
Really fun show.
Shane
That sucks when you have to pee really bad during a live event.
Alex
Yeah. And you know, I was like, I was back there. I was like undoing my pants and stuff.
Shane
That's rough, dude.
Alex
I was just letting go.
Spencer
He made the ask, can I just get up now and go? Wow.
Alex
I was seriously.
Shane
And did they tell you? No.
Alex
They were like, hahaha. Like, I don't think. I don't know if they understand.
Spencer
They didn't take it seriously. They did not take it seriously at all.
Alex
But I mean, that's something I wonder, you know, like in musical artists. And forgive me if I brought this up on the podcast before, because this is just something I think about a lot. I'm like, what if you're, like, in a band and you're like, playing like a big show, like a stadium show? What if you really have to poop?
Shane
I think they probably. Depending on how metal you are. You just be like, depending on how metal. Guys, I gotta go take a shit. I'll be back.
Spencer
But like, I'm like, I think the adrenaline.
Shane
Yeah.
Spencer
Is probably going to.
Shane
I think that's why they do so many drugs, so they don't ever have to.
Alex
Oh, I know, I know. Like a lot of drugs constipate you.
Shane
Yeah, I've heard about that.
Spencer
There we go. You should.
Shane
I've heard. I've I was shocked because I'm not a drug user. I was shocked when someone told me, like, yeah, with heroin, like, you take a shit like once a month. And it's insane.
Spencer
Raja just told that story about a guy that she knew who took a shit once a week, and it was bad.
Alex
Oh. But he, like, kind of never knew it when it was going to hit.
Shane
Yeah, that's it. Remember, shit on the wall.
Spencer
And that's when I kind of stopped believing her. But, yeah.
Shane
I don't know what to believe when Arash is.
Alex
No, that was. There's. There's a really funny moment in the. Was it. Would you rather. And the card is like, would you rather always have to pee or always feel the need to pee or always feel the need to pee on someone? And Alex and I. And Alex and I are in the back. Were like, that is not a real card. Like, show us a fucking card. You cannot keep doing this shit. And she flipped over and it was a real card. We're like, okay.
Shane
That's the problem is a rajah sometimes knows when something doesn't sound believable. And she leans into that.
Spencer
Yeah, she really did.
Shane
And she'll deliver things with that straight face. And you're just like, come on, stop. Before we talk further, I realize, Alex, this is like, the first time you've been on camera, like, talking to this extent.
Spencer
I think so. Yeah.
Shane
Yeah, you have.
Spencer
I can't believe you guys let me quite.
Shane
I know, because you haven't been in many Games videos. You're always. People hear you.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
Similar to Kiana and Emily getting recognized.
Alex
A lot of gencon. I would say most of the people who came up knew both of us. Knew both of us.
Shane
That's crazy.
Spencer
We also, yeah, we ran into a lot of, like, more fans this year than last year, and a lot of people who are like, we didn't know you were even going to be here.
Shane
That's cool.
Spencer
Yeah.
Alex
Every day our influence grows.
Shane
You've been. You've been at Smosh for what is a year and a half? Two years.
Spencer
Two years.
Shane
Holy shit, man. That's crazy.
Spencer
It's been a crazy two years here. So it feels alike or it feels like a lot longer.
Shane
I don't know if you want to talk about this, but what you did before you were games. Well, I didn't know this until recently.
Alex
That you worked at Conan.
Spencer
That I worked at Conan. That I was a teacher.
Shane
That you were a teacher.
Spencer
In high school, I would teach. I was just telling the story to someone. But I Would teach like elementary school and middle school students at like this kind of. It was a makerspace, which I don't know if you've ever been to one, but they have like a lot of computers. They're for adults usually, but they have like computers with like 3D modeling software, animation software. So you can go and kind of use that equipment without having to buy a lot of those expensive things. And so you can use their 3D printers. Is it almost like the Evelyn Cutter cutters? It is. It's like a library, but you're kind of there to make things. So in my hometown in Massachusetts, we had one. It's not open anymore, but it was for kids. So parents could drop their kids off or they could come after school. It was kind of close to all the schools so kids could walk or they could do like summer camps where they're there for a whole week. And I would do classes where it's just like, oh, let's do 3D modeling classes or like 3D printing classes. So they would go in to like auto or not AutoCAD. We had like a. I don't remember what it was called, but it was like a simpler CAD programming thing and they would like make shit that's awesome in the computers.
Shane
How many kids in a class?
Spencer
Probably 10 to 15. It was small.
Shane
That's still a lot, man.
Spencer
Or I would just be sitting there and they're all playing Minecraft and then.
Alex
I played Minecraft with them.
Spencer
It was a lot of Minecraft back then.
Shane
I mean, that's awesome.
Alex
But I mean, I know you used to teach Minecraft. Kind of.
Spencer
I would teach Minecraft, yeah. I would teach like Redstone.
Shane
Holy shit. I would teach eventually kind of basically teach coding through Minecraft.
Spencer
And that was the thing that was really what it was, was like teaching game design and teaching really sick ODing. I would do Scratch a lot. I don't know if you guys.
Shane
I feel like that's scratch. A Minecraft class has got to be the easiest class to teach for kids as far as keeping their attention.
Spencer
Oh yeah. Cuz they love it. They love playing Minecraft. I mean they'll go over like fucking blow each other's shit up.
Shane
Sure.
Spencer
I'd have to put him in the corner for a couple.
Shane
Today we're teaching sabotage.
Spencer
We're teaching deception when trading.
Shane
It's really funny. Why'd you get time out? I blew up my friend's base.
Spencer
I griefed him and then I griefed.
Alex
My friend and I griefed it and.
Spencer
Then I griefed it.
Alex
I took it back to my base.
Spencer
I griefed it.
Alex
No, my favorite moment is in the Minecraft series when we all finally go to Tim's village and we find him selectively breeding. He's created this new super race of Minecraft wood. And Tim's like, oh, yeah, what's up?
Shane
Yeah, I did that.
Spencer
Yeah. Cause Minecraft has all the. It's so dense in how it works. And the breeding of villagers or making the perfect horse or so fucked up sounding.
Alex
That's like my favorite meme. It's like, you know, it's like guys playing video games. It's them shooting someone in Grand Theft Auto, like, ha, ha, blah, blah. And then it's like girls playing video games. It's like them making a prison in the Sims. And it's like they're so systematically torturing people.
Spencer
Yeah. Or segregation. That was like. The animal crossing was like, getting all the ugly people out.
Alex
Yeah, no, the animal crossing really brought it. It's like, you know, well, I'm gonna. I'm gonna make sure the only villagers on my island are the ones I want.
Shane
It's really messed up. Speaking of, this weekend, I booted Animal Crossing back up.
Alex
No way was it satisfying.
Spencer
They were rioting.
Shane
So it had been years since Crucified Tom Nook is just like.
Spencer
There were bodies every.
Shane
Every year I had. I had not touched that game since 2020. Right. Because that was my lockdown.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
That was March and April. That's actually. I think that's actually all I did in April of 2020.
Alex
It was fully built, like, baked into my day.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
Because I. We would do our work because we. We didn't really stop working at Smosh. We kind of kept filming stuff. We were all filming from home, but I would get my work done, and then I would just play Animal Crossing. And I would try my best to be like, oh, I need to stop. I need to take a break.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
And then I just, like, I'm gonna hop back on. And so I put in so many hours. We were all playing together. We had, like, a Slack channel where we were talking about it, and I had forgotten what I'd done with it. And I realized when I booted it back up that I had deleted my island.
Spencer
Whoa.
Shane
I think I remember restarting. I think in all of 2020, I put in so much time into it. And then I hit a point where months later, you know, I'm just kind of burned out, maybe, or unhappy with the island. I think it's all very reflective of my own inner struggle. Throughout 2020. And so I remember I tried to really remodel the entire island. And then I hated that stress. And then I ended up just. I remember just being like, I'm deleting this and I'm walking away and I'm done and I'm not gonna revisit it.
Alex
And then lately systematically executed that was.
Spencer
Like read the burning of Jurassic Park.
Shane
But then I just lately was like, you know what, I'm gonna check it out. And hopping back on. But just such a different feeling playing it now than back then.
Alex
I think I'd fallen off by the time those updates came out.
Shane
Yeah, I don't even know if I was playing it by then either.
Alex
They ended like swimming and shit.
Spencer
I can't go back to a game that I used to play every single like all day, every day.
Shane
Really.
Spencer
Like I can't. Cause I'm not. That's how I want to play it. That's how I wanna play Minecraft. And I don't have time to sit down all day and play, see, hear.
Alex
The music like the morning music or the evening music. And I get legitimately depressed from I can't.
Shane
For Minecraft?
Alex
No, for Animal Crossing.
Shane
Really.
Alex
I don't know why this deep depressing. Depressed might not be the word, but it's like a legitimate melancholy flows over me.
Shane
Is it like a memory thing?
Alex
I don't. It's just like to me it's like I walked backwards. It's not like I have bad memories of that time in my life. It's just something. It's like it feels like I've gone back in time but not in a good way.
Spencer
Interesting. No, that makes sense.
Alex
Like I'm like. Because I like where my life has gone since then. So to go back, I'm like. It feels like I'm stepping back. Yeah.
Shane
I think because it's a brand new island. I think that was actually the right choice because it really does just feel like, oh, I'm picking up this brand new game and I've forgotten so much about it. And I've also forgotten that Animal Crossing is meant to be played like short for like an hour a day is a really ideal way to play the game. Cause you.
Alex
That's what I would do.
Shane
You only get a couple things.
Alex
I would wake up and I would kind of do my chores in.
Shane
But I would play non stop because I would make shit to do.
Spencer
Thank God it was built like that. Cause I got really into New Leaf the year before. That's the one on the 3Ds. And that one's super built to play for an hour, and then, like, you kind of play for an hour. There's nothing else to do, really. And where this one was, we were lucky. Cause we were all quarantine, and so we had to. That was all we had to do. And thank God it had a lot that you can do. And. And I'm such a. Skipping the days, obviously.
Shane
See, I. I'm such a, like, purist in that I was like, I'm not gonna skip days.
Spencer
Funny.
Shane
So those first few days. Because I'm remembering now as I'm playing it, like, currently, I'm remembering that I'm like, oh, those first few days, there's actually nothing to do.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
You start it and they're like, yeah, so you have a fishing pole. You're going to have to wait till tomorrow to get.
Spencer
Maybe someone will move in. Yeah.
Shane
And then. So you're just. That first day, there's like, nothing actually to do this, but I was in lockdown with nothing to do. And, like, I'm like, I'm not skipping days. I will just play second.
Alex
I. So the final straw for me was I skipped days, and it felt like cheating.
Shane
It ruins it. Ruins it.
Alex
And it fully ruined the entire game for me.
Shane
Yeah.
Spencer
Yeah. I don't know how I started skipping days. Towards the end of, like, me playing, I was like, I'm getting a little impatient. Like, I want to move all these houses around, but I don't want to wait. I have this time now to do it. So I'm just going to start skipping days.
Alex
The second I start using cheat codes in a game is kind of the moment I lose interest in it.
Shane
Unless it's the only game. That cheat codes for me are just inherent. Is age of Empires 2.
Alex
Oh, yeah.
Shane
I just. That's the only way I ever played.
Alex
Like, how do you turn this on? Here's the thing. I had age of Empires 1 and 2 as a kid. So I got all the cheat codes confused. I think. How do you turn this on? Was age of Empires 2. There was like, Cheesesteak Jimmy's.
Shane
I only did the resources.
Alex
Yeah, you get the. You get the Shelby.
Shane
Oh, yeah, yeah. I never did those. I just did the. The resources.
Alex
Wait, wait, wait. The quarry was that one Cheesesteak Jimmy's.
Shane
It's cheese.
Spencer
Jesus Christ.
Shane
It's Cheesesteak Jimmy's. It's Lumberjack. It's. I thought it was Quarry was the one stone. Yeah, it's rock on, Lumberjack. And what was the gold one? Gold was Robin Hood, this is thrilling.
Spencer
And then this goes back to my philosophy on listing things. Yeah, it's always funny when you just start listing things out. No, it was like. It was an onyplace compilation that came out where it's just. They do a lot of compilations like, oh, Best of Like Funny Jokes, or Best of Like. And then they did one that's just called Best of Listing Things. It's like an hour long, and I saw a lot of tweets and people were like, are you serious? And watch. It's like, oh, it's actually kind of funny when you start, like, listing things out. And so we were watching that smosh mouth where it was the one where it's like, and my wife is cool. And.
Alex
Oh, the smosh Reddit.
Spencer
Oh, the Reddit. Yeah.
Alex
That's like my favorite clip where it's the husband talking about how much he loves his wife.
Shane
I rub my wife.
Alex
No, it might have been the same story, but it's a. So it's the one where Courtney's, like, tearing up and you and I are dying.
Shane
Yeah, because he's talking about how he's.
Alex
Like, the smell of her hair.
Shane
What got us was then he's like, yeah, and the feeling of her fingers in my hair.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
And it's just like, if you just.
Spencer
Keep going on and on and on.
Shane
No, he does funny. He went forever. And it's like, you don't need to do this because you're talking to a bunch of anonymous people online. Yeah, get to the point of the story. You're asking a question.
Spencer
He was just. He was typing out. He's like, ugh.
Shane
He got lost.
Alex
He started to get horny halfway through.
Spencer
Hold on, guys, I gotta get up real quick.
Alex
He started typing Asterix Moan. Was it? Did you guys do that in the Reddit stories about the husband who makes the age of Empires New Villager sound?
Shane
Yes. When his wife gave birth and it was like the final straw and she was done with him.
Alex
That is.
Shane
But because he was doing a bunch of awkward shit throughout the entire labor process.
Spencer
Like, he was trying to pass the time.
Shane
I know, but like, everyone. It's one of those where everyone's like, maybe this. Everyone's just like, I hate you, man.
Alex
Like, you just sound unfortunately, like, from that Reddit, I was like, I fuck with this guy. But that. But I mean, that was my favorite. It was like the Reddit thread that, like. Or the Reddit post that kind of went viral for forever. It was like, oh, my wife's in labor. It's like, time to game. And it was like. It was him. And he had, like, breath of the wild. Up.
Shane
Nice.
Alex
And he was like, oh. He's like, you know what that means? And so people would do that, like, all the time. It's like, oh, my nephew's in the hospital. Like, you know what that means? Like, blah, blah, blah. So just, like, anytime there's some serious big event happening, they'd be like, oh.
Spencer
Like, you know, it's like, grandma's funeral. Time to, like. The switch is so convenient.
Shane
It reminds me. I mean, one of my favorite memes is that Family Guy one where it's just like, you just have the phone cursor to that phone with Family Guy.
Alex
Yes.
Shane
That's good shit.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
So what are you guys playing right now?
Spencer
Nothing.
Shane
You're not Magic the Gathering?
Spencer
No.
Shane
You guys run the games channel? You're not playing video games?
Alex
Dude, I don't want to fucking talk about.
Spencer
We were just at fucking Gen Con, okay? I played, like, 50 trillion board games.
Shane
Have you not played a video game?
Spencer
This year we saw NFL Uno, right?
Shane
You guys talked about NFL Uno.
Alex
So it's called Uno Elite. It's gonna. It's a Walmart exclusive. No, but. No. So it was so funny.
Spencer
Wait, do you have the cards, or.
Alex
No, they're in my fucking. But. So, like, each. Each thing. This is not. Not an ad, but truly not. So it comes with, like, the Uno thing, and then it comes like, a goal. Like a foil pack of, like, player cards. So you open, you, like, you pull, like. And each. You pull, like, NFL players. And each one has, like, special abilities.
Spencer
So let me tell you, it's regular Uno. So you're drawing cards off the thing. You put the one in the middle, and then the next person goes. You have to match the numbers or the color, but you have another deck of cards that you build. I think it's eight cards, and you have three of them available to you. And they're all different colors, and they all do different actions. So some of them are like, target player draws a card or take an extra turn, or everyone draws a card. You take an extra turn. Or there's like, a lot of weird advanced ones that we didn't get to see. And if you play a card with a star on it, you get to play a card of the same color from your hand, essentially. And then you play it, and you target someone and do it, and then you reveal another. So it adds another layer of Uno where you kind of have, like, some strategy.
Alex
So fucking good explaining board Games.
Shane
He's a teacher.
Spencer
Well, so here's what we found out. We're on the plane. This is crazy. We're on the plane back and the woman next, like, you know, I'm in the middle. Spencer's on the window.
Shane
That sucks, man.
Spencer
I like sitting in the middle. It's not that bad. And then I got this woman next to me. And as we land, she turns, she's like, did you guys come to the Mattel booth? And we were like, yes. And I had been looking at her at the airport too. I was like, she looks really familiar. She was the one that demoed the game to us.
Shane
Oh.
Spencer
And we're like, oh, my God. Yeah. That was so fun. I was just telling her I actually really enjoyed that game.
Alex
And she was like, right after. We're like, dude, Jane's gonna love this game.
Shane
Yeah, it sounds.
Spencer
And she was like, yeah. And she was a designer at Mattel, and she wasn't the designer for Uno Elite. I don't remember how this came up, but she was like, yeah, the guy who designed that is really into magic.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
And I was like, no, everyone's into magic.
Spencer
Everyone is in. Every designer is into magic. I just think magic's like. The gameplay lends itself really well to referencing for something else.
Alex
It seems like there's so many different mechanics within magic where it's like, oh, I want to focus just on this kind of part of magic. And I think we make a game based on, like, you know, this.
Spencer
Not even that, but like, the way that magic layers game actions. Where it's like, okay, someone does something, then someone can respond to that. Now it's on the stack, they call it. And then you can start putting things on the stack, and then something will resolve. You can put something else, and then you resolve it in order.
Shane
Interesting.
Spencer
And that I take into account whenever I'm playing any game, it's like, okay, now we should do all these actions in a specific order. And I was trying to do that with Laneckbeard, but we fucked that up. I don't know if you saw that comment.
Shane
I saw that. That shit was messed up some things.
Spencer
But it lends itself well to like, okay, I'm gonna design a game and.
Shane
Just follow that basic.
Spencer
I'm gonna try and follow this formula because it works so well.
Shane
It's crazy. Cause it's such an old card game now, but it was designed just so well.
Alex
Seeing those old packs was so sick.
Spencer
We should have bought some.
Shane
My brother has a bunch of old magic. The Gathering cards from, like, the 90s.
Spencer
Yeah. Tim has a ton of them, too, wherever he is.
Shane
That would make sense.
Alex
Fucking.
Shane
Is Tim the best player now?
Spencer
Tim's still kind of new.
Shane
Who's the best out of everyone here?
Alex
Is Tim really kind of new?
Shane
I.
Spencer
Well, he used to play when he was, like, really, like when magic was first coming out, and then he didn't play for a really long time.
Alex
He was an early adopter of Magic.
Spencer
He was.
Shane
When he had his little tiny vests back then.
Alex
I wonder when. The first time he put on a vest, he was like, this feels right.
Shane
Yeah, it's like, we need the origin story movie.
Alex
But first he had, like, the shitty, like, handmade vest, like in Spider Man 1. When he has, like, the. Yeah, his, like, handmade.
Shane
It's construction paper.
Spencer
He. That's really.
Shane
Together.
Alex
His parents are like, we can buy you a vest, man.
Shane
He's like, no, I must earn it.
Spencer
Earn it. Yeah.
Alex
And he earned it. He has. I fucking love him.
Spencer
No, seriously.
Shane
No, he's awesome.
Alex
Tim's been.
Spencer
No, I wish to have a style like that.
Shane
I really respect it. And that's been the case since I've known him.
Alex
Yeah.
Spencer
Yeah. No, I've only seen one photo of him without the vest.
Shane
I haven't even seen that. I don't know if I want to.
Spencer
No, don't. It made me throw up.
Alex
It was like, you know, my eyes started to bleed. It was like seeing an un. Like an unknowable word.
Spencer
It was seeing, like, a new color.
Alex
Yeah. Fuck, he was iridescent, bro.
Shane
There's nothing there, man.
Spencer
Yeah, yeah, Brennan showed me. He, like, unclipped the Pulp Fiction suitcase, like, blared in my eyes.
Alex
Oh, did. Was it Brennan who had the picture?
Spencer
I don't remember. Who.
Shane
Don't show it to.
Alex
Brennan has a copy.
Shane
You can't put that online.
Spencer
Delete it.
Shane
Cannot put that online. If you find photos of Tim without a vest on, please do report them to the authorities. Report them to the FBI. Delete it, burn it, whatever you can do.
Spencer
No, he had to pull it up on the fucking Dark Web, bro.
Alex
But that's for games. I'm still playing Fortnite today. We're awaiting anticipation.
Shane
Holy Fortnite.
Spencer
Let me check Twitter real quick to see if that's the FNAF thing. FNAF news.
Alex
I got fucking.
Spencer
Okay, so here's my theory, cuz. They were like, okay, FNAF is having a collab, and everyone's like, oh, it's gonna be Fortnite. And it hasn't happened. It's happening today. As of filming.
Shane
As of filming this. We're waiting on this. What if it's just such a letdown?
Spencer
Well, so then the creator of the Scott Cawthon, or whatever his name is, he did, like, an interview the day before, like, yesterday, guys, and he was like, I want to make sure that any collabs that we do with Fortnite or with Fortnite. He said that, and then we knew. No. Any collabs with FNAF Makes sense to fnaf. He's like, there's a lot of games that I like a lot, but I don't think it would be a good fit. And so a lot of people were thinking dead by Daylight horror.
Shane
Oh, that'd be sick.
Spencer
My theory, sorry to keep talking about it, is Magic.
Shane
Oh, Magic has been doing a lot of collaboration. A lot of collaboration.
Alex
That's what I said. I was like. And I think that'd be really cool.
Spencer
And the next magic set that is coming out in, I think, September, October, is retro horror themed.
Shane
So does magic, the Gathering, all take place in, like, one universe, or is it.
Spencer
But it takes place in one. Then they have universes beyond. That's where they fit in. Creed and Lord of the Rings and Transformers and Doctor who.
Shane
Okay.
Spencer
What else? Fucking Monty Python.
Shane
Funny.
Spencer
There's some VH Street Fighter Love Island.
Shane
I play Rob the Walking Dead. Like, they have everything.
Spencer
It's Jurassic Park.
Shane
I need it. I need to. I tried to get into it a few years ago, and I played some games with Damien and I. Okay, this is cool. I got it. I was like, this is much simpler than I was expecting. Yeah, I was expecting a very complicated. Well, because we tried to play Yu Gi oh. You and that shit was a nightmare.
Spencer
JAMES plays.
Shane
I was like, no. And I played Yu Gi oh as a kid, but I was like, what happened to this shit in 15 years? Yu Gi oh is woke, guys. But magic was very, very accessible to me.
Spencer
No. And it's like. I mean, yeah, you can read the card and it usually does what it says. Sometimes it doesn't.
Alex
But if I can chime in, that's what I like about Munchkin.
Spencer
Exactly.
Alex
She's like. It's like, whatever it says in the card, tops anything. Any rule of the game.
Shane
Like, if the card says, you keep moving it.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
But, yeah, you guys do play Fortnite, so you do play a lot of Fortnite. You play.
Spencer
Yeah, I haven't in a minute, but I did lie.
Shane
I didn't want to admit it. A group of people who play Fortnite here, too. So it's you guys. There's Mallory, there's Bailey, Emily.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
You guys all group up and play. I tried to get into it again. I just. I enjoy it for a few rounds, and then I'm like, okay, nothing yet.
Spencer
Nothing yet.
Alex
So the announcement has not been made yet.
Shane
Okay.
Alex
I restarted a Jedi Survivor on Xbox, and I fucking love that.
Shane
Nice.
Alex
That's. That's one of my.
Shane
Well, you beat Elden Ring recently, too.
Alex
I did beat the dlc. That was really good. It was really good. And now I want to play.
Spencer
It's really good.
Alex
It was really good. I really want to play through. I want to play through. Through the Dark Souls games again.
Shane
Whoa. All of them.
Spencer
All of them.
Alex
I really want. I really want. Cause Alex never played Dark Souls 2, and that's my favorite.
Shane
I never played that. That's the one I didn't play.
Alex
And I really. I want both of y'all to play it. I think it's really, really fun, and it just. It's kind of.
Spencer
Challenge accepted, bro.
Alex
Challenge accepted.
Spencer
Yeah.
Alex
Yeah. So I would love to know yalls take, and it'd be fun if we all played through it together.
Shane
Like, that was the one. So back when I lived with Damian, he played so much Dark Souls 2. Like, that's the. In the entire time that we were living together. That's like the main game he was playing.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
And he was not playing the story. He was playing it online, like PvP. And he showed me some matches. He's like, watch how this is done. And there's tons of people around, and it's like, all just social contract. Right. This isn't like how the game is designed. It's just. Oh, no. Everyone agrees they're not attacking each other. And then people go up one at a time to face each other. And he was like, walk up on this bridge, and they bow to each other, and then they fight. And I was like, this is crazy that you. This has happened organically in the volcano area where you guys aren't just all killing each other. You have created this organization, this fight.
Spencer
Like those videos of guys trying to do sketches in Fortnite, but they have to do it in a big hundred player lobby.
Alex
Isn't that what nick a 30?
Spencer
That's what he does.
Alex
So he'll, like. He'll bring in, like, you know, his.
Spencer
Chat, like, stream, snipe me. Let's all get into this one game. And then they'll all land together.
Shane
Cool.
Spencer
And he's like, okay, everyone, like, stand here and then like one kid will start shooting people and then they just immediately. Yeah, he's like. He's like, chat ban this guy.
Shane
Chat kill him. Chat kill that man.
Alex
Yeah. What have you been playing?
Shane
Yeah. Animal Crossing. So I'll probably. This is my plan because Animal Crossing, I'll only play for a little bit. The game that I've also. I've had for a long time is Disco Elysium.
Spencer
I've never played it.
Shane
I just need to play it. I need to just boot it up.
Alex
It's like the best game of all time.
Spencer
I'm gonna take a day off from work.
Shane
It's a book. Yeah, it's fully a book. It's similar like Baldur's Gate 3 vibes, where you're just clicking things and then you get a whole spiel. I struggle with that and make decisions. I do too. That's why I'm like, okay, I need to really. It's the same feeling as reading a book where you have to really be locked in. That's why I love games like Animal Crossing, though, where I'm like, I don't have to think. I actually don't have to think at all. I could close my eyes, put earplugs in and just press buttons and I'll be okay.
Spencer
See, I really want a game that makes me think about, like, how I'm playing it. I think, like, engaging with the gameplay of a game is really important to me. And so that's why, like, Animal Crossing I don't think I could sit down with again. You know, that's why Monster Hunter and Dark Souls is so cool, because, like, you are kind of studying as you're playing it, reacting to the way the game is allowing you to exist in its world.
Shane
That's true.
Spencer
I miss Monster Hunter a lot because that was my unemployed game.
Shane
See, I could not get into that.
Alex
Game at all, so I couldn't either.
Shane
I could not.
Alex
I will try to get into the new one. I saw they released some stuff for it this morning.
Spencer
Yeah, I haven't watched it yet or yesterday, but when you were explaining the seamless co op for Elden Ring, I was like, well, that's kind of just what Monster Hunter ends up being.
Shane
Yeah, they're similar in vibe, but Monster Hunter was so repetitive to me.
Spencer
It is very.
Shane
It's like, oh, I go and fight that monster again.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
Oh, okay.
Alex
To me, I like the speed of, like, how quickly most things will go down. It's like, you know, like, even, like, the most intense boss. It's like, you know, it's like a three minute battle tops. In Elden Ring or Dark Souls. Like, you know, if you're going longer than that, it's like we've kind of lost Monster Hunter.
Spencer
You enter the world and it's like, okay, you have 40 minutes and it's like, okay.
Alex
That shit I don't enjoy.
Shane
Yeah, I don't like time.
Spencer
No, I really. I don't know what it is. I think it truly is that I can just keep going and going, going, going. It's like Elden Ring. I love fighting the bosses. Kind of makes me sad when I can't go back. And I think that's why you can go back. Monster Hunter works in Elden Ring.
Shane
That was.
Spencer
You can join.
Shane
You can join other people. And that. That was almost more fun. Yeah. I did beat Pikmin 4, which was sick as hell.
Spencer
I was just talking to someone.
Alex
The magic guy.
Spencer
Yeah, you clocked my shoe charms. But yeah.
Shane
Pikmin 4 is so fucking so, so incredible. And I had played that since Pikmin 1.
Alex
I still have not played a Pikmin game.
Shane
They're fun. Pikmin 4 was really neat.
Alex
Like I. Oh, that was another game I started because I have a GameCube. And so I started Luigi's Mansion one.
Shane
Wow.
Alex
And what a cool aesthetic. Yeah, it's kind of repetitive, but like the music, like the graphics, like some of the technology that they were doing. The GameCube, like those reflections or like the way the, like the curtains would blow and then kind of like dynamically get like sucked into your thing. Like, it's really funny.
Spencer
I've only played three, which was the switch one, right. With the man with the. He's in like the hotel.
Shane
Yeah, Yeah. I think that was the most recent one. If there was a game that we could play on the game's channel that and we could guarantee like, oh, this is gonna crush.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
What would it be? Because I feel like we. Monkey Ball. That'd be insane. If games became known for doing Monkey.
Spencer
Ball video every week, every Wednesday. Monkey.
Shane
I almost feel like it could because it's such a random game that I'm.
Spencer
Trying to like whenever Angela's like, I want to get really good at a. Just play Monkey Ball. Cause it's literally just. You are tilting the stick and then you can watch all these videos of people skipping major chunks of the game. And it's not that hard to figure out the physics.
Shane
Okay.
Alex
Now Monkey Ball is. It always seemed really fun. And then I play it. I'm like, yeah, this is fun.
Spencer
It's fun when you play it a lot. You have to play it a lot and then understand how to break the game, essentially. Because watching speedruns of Monkey Ball is crazy interesting.
Alex
I mean, the thing I would love is if we could, you know, be more of like, a. Not like a Fortnite channel, but, like, you know, it's such a fun social.
Shane
Game where it just got so oversaturated for so long.
Alex
Yeah, well, like. And it's. It's funny because a lot of the streamers, like, they are, like, solo creators, so it's like they're not. They're. They're playing the game and. And they're talking to chat. But, like, you know, to me, that kind of takes away the. The group dynamic of.
Spencer
Yeah. What I enjoy about for.
Alex
Yeah. Which is like, oh, let's all hop in this car together. Oh, I'm like. I'm riding on top of, like, things like that.
Spencer
We're always giggling when we're playing.
Alex
I'm giggling. I'm giggling.
Shane
It is a silly game.
Alex
I'm kicking my feetsies.
Shane
I respect that game for being so silly.
Alex
Yeah, it's so silly. And, like, you know, they've embraced that when you hit, like, a teammate with your car, like, they go shooting up, and it's like, the funniest. Like, every time you accidentally bump someone with your car, like, it's. It's comedy gold.
Shane
That was whenever I played, I'm like, why is nobody else just getting in a car? It just seems like it's the smart move.
Alex
Well, the new season's just, like, all cars, and I think everyone's ready for the next thing, but.
Spencer
Yeah. Oh, I have no idea what they're gonna do next. I guess five nights at Freddy's, maybe.
Shane
Yeah. I wish retro games did better.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
Cause they're just fun to revisit. They're simple. But I understand why they don't typically get massive, like, views. Cause it's just like. It's not.
Alex
They're kind of. They're not like, made to be, like, emergent or. It's like they're so finite in their.
Spencer
I know. You'd have to, like. It wouldn't be just. It would be every single one. Like, you'd have to do a different one every time you couldn't return.
Shane
Exactly.
Spencer
Mario 1 feel, like, what.
Shane
It is cool that we're playing, like, N64 Mario Party and it's working, but obviously there's that whole twist to that. But I wish we could need more twists. We need more twists. I do have some games pitches I heard for a little bit, but maybe once we're getting close to the end of this episode, I'll throw some at.
Spencer
You guys and we're receptive.
Shane
Okay.
Spencer
I think we're very kind, I think.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
Well, yeah, people come up to us.
Spencer
All the time and they're pitching us games. I had a guy in an Uber pitching me Yahtzee.
Shane
Just like, just the gammy.
Spencer
Well, he was like, you know how he was. I was just saying, like earlier he was like, you know how like on ESPN they do like poker. They do like really dramatic poker. They should do that with Yahtzee. With a commentators being like, well, he could, he could go for the five here or he could stay with the four of a kind, blah, blah, blah. And I was like, it's actually not a bad idea.
Alex
I would like to do more on games. Like, you know, I like, like the elevated, you know, like elevating silly games to be like really serious. Like, those are my favorite moments in the darts videos where it's like, you know, we wanted like that close up camera on the thing. So you like really see.
Spencer
Yeah, it's funny that we shot that here.
Shane
It's literally right here.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
Yeah. It feels. Feels very different. We do so much right here.
Spencer
I know. I'd love to like incorporate commentators. Yeah, I think that's such a funny. Like, you know, we let a big group of cast do more like physical comedy. Maybe like a darts video, but like everyone's kind of more like flashier so.
Shane
That the people competing aren't talking as much.
Spencer
And it's like two people commentating that are kind of lifting the comedy.
Shane
That would be really nice because it's not apparent because the edit is so good, but darts is really weird to film. No, I remember it's very strange to be in it because it's so much dead space. And yeah, it's actually a really hard video.
Alex
It's hard because you're kind of trying to think of what to say next. And it's hard to be in that mode while also engaging with.
Spencer
With physics.
Alex
With physics. But also the other people. Amanda was doing a great job of being like, oh, so what's everyone. Oh, sorry. So Amanda would be like, what's everyone doing after the game? Kind of prompting us our characters.
Spencer
But if you had a commentator who's. They're just watching the thing. I've seen a lot of baseball commentary clips lately. They're really Funny. Cause they're kind of just sitting there watching it all happen.
Alex
Did you ever watch mxc?
Spencer
Yeah, that shit's the best. I mean, that's. That's the thing, right? It's like you kind of just make anything. We could just record a regular games video.
Alex
I mean, and that's. That's kind of like how Moist Critical got his start is he would do kind of infomercials. Yeah, he would do, like, commentary of, like, games.
Shane
It was his slapping videos that I remember.
Spencer
Oh, that's right. That was like a couple years ago, though. I'm talking like, Like.
Alex
Oh, I'm talking like 10 years ago.
Shane
Oh, wow. See, I was not aware of who he was until a couple years ago.
Alex
No, this was like. So he's been at it for a long time. He would do like. He would show those, like, Japanese, like, the, like, the horse racing video games where he was like. And, like, around the corner is, like, poopy McFace butt. And like, you know, 10 years ago, that was the funniest show.
Shane
It was revolutionary.
Alex
Now. Yeah, not as much, but, you know, he's branched out.
Shane
Yeah, he's branched out.
Spencer
He's evolved in the correct way, I'd say. But I think we should. I think we should try something.
Alex
I mean, one of the funniest, like, bits, I. I really liked Angela and Amanda in the. As the commentators in the dog show.
Shane
They crushed that.
Alex
Yeah, they're really good.
Shane
I, like, a lot of the cast.
Alex
Would be really good at that.
Shane
Yeah, that'd be. That would be really fun to have two commentators. And then that way, like, we can still talk but you're not.
Spencer
We'll still have open microphones, like, over here or whatever.
Shane
Yeah, no, yeah.
Alex
I mean, something that I have, you know, kind of like a bad memory of. And, you know, this. We might. We Maybe we cut this out, maybe we don't. But, like, a long time ago when I was. When I was editing, we did Smosh Winter Games, and that was the one where Ian and Anthony couldn't go to because they were filming Ghost meets.
Shane
Yeah, they're filming a movie. Yeah.
Alex
So they're like, you know, the. The powers that be at Defy were like, oh, well, like, we'll have them do, like, a commentary track after. So they would kind of watch the footage, you know, in a room at the Defy office. And then I would have to kind of put them in at, like, key moments. I just remember being a pain in the ass. Cause it was like, you know, that's.
Shane
Not as fun you need the commentators there physically.
Alex
And that's why.
Spencer
And it'd be funny if, like they can hear the commentators and so that.
Shane
Way they could go and talk shit at the commentators. It needs to be right there. There needs to be mid game interviews. There needs to be fun.
Spencer
No, even just like after throwing the darts, they go and they sit down and feel about. Yeah.
Alex
It's like, you get that Mickey Mouse girl from oh Games. You guys got to talk about her.
Spencer
You can't say that, bro. You can't say that.
Alex
Mickey Mouse girl games where she's like, I wouldn't. I ran to the. I ran really fast. Did you guys see that?
Spencer
I didn't see that. No.
Alex
Look at Mickey Mouse.
Spencer
O Games, guys. Google Mickey Mouse. O Games. But O Games.
Alex
I think she's a sprinter and they, they're like asking this really long, drawn out question and like, you know, she's like standing like really serious and then she's like. Well, I think the.
Shane
Whoa. I think.
Alex
Yeah, she.
Shane
Was she like Swedish or something?
Alex
I don't know, man.
Spencer
Could have been from anywhere.
Alex
She's from Orland. It wasn't even like her adjectives.
Spencer
Kingdom.
Shane
Have you heard of it from Toontown, man, Toontown. Did you get it right?
Alex
But yeah, no, I think that, like live commentary could be really fun. I mean, we kind of. I think we almost experimented a little. Like when I was keeping score in the second one when Amanda kind of kept coming over to me and that kind of became like a running bit of her, like the flirting with the points.
Spencer
Dart man.
Alex
Yeah. And then we got to do Dart Man.
Shane
Dart Man.
Alex
Dartman.
Spencer
Such a good one.
Alex
Probably the funniest thing.
Shane
People are now commenting a lot of names of dart celebrities that should be in darths, but ones that we've already cooked up. Obviously there's been Dart Vader.
Spencer
Yeah, I just came up with one.
Shane
What?
Spencer
You know, Lord. What if it's just bored. Bored with an e at the end.
Alex
That's really bad.
Spencer
Is that good, guys? We'll put some really long hair on someone.
Alex
It's Randy Marshall. One of the crazy things. I don't even think I saw those episodes where Randy Marsh became Lord. I think I just saw the clips and I was like, that's really funny.
Shane
The episode itself, if I remember correctly, isn't even like that funny.
Alex
Just Randy Marsh just being Lord for some reason.
Shane
It's just.
Alex
Yeah. I mean, like, if I can take a moment to talk about Randy Marsh.
Shane
Sure, yeah.
Alex
This is your platform. I don't think I've established how much I love Randy Marsh.
Shane
Okay.
Alex
And Butters.
Shane
Okay. Do you feel bad when they're mean to Butters?
Alex
Yeah, I love those memes. It's like people crying. It's like me when they're mean to Butters in South Park. No. But Randy Marsh consistently cracks me up more than I think. Like any fictional character. Anytime Randy Marsh does literally anything, I'm like, he's the funniest dude alive. See, you guys are laughing. Even thinking about Randy Marsh, I do get him.
Shane
Seriously, you're like. You're like, guys, I really need to talk about Randy Marsh.
Alex
Guys, it's time we had this discussion about Randy Marsh.
Shane
Is Randy Marsh your favorite fictional character?
Alex
He's my comfort. He's one of my comfort characters, for sure.
Spencer
Guessing top three fiction characters.
Alex
Guessing top three comfort characters.
Spencer
Yeah.
Shane
Top three fictional characters. Just favorite fictional characters.
Alex
There are people who, like, they just come on screen and I start fucking giggling. One of them. One of them is will forte. Is MacGruber.
Shane
Yes.
Alex
The second he, like, just, like, Honestly, just like Will Forte, period.
Shane
Yeah.
Alex
As soon as he, like, starts, like.
Shane
But him as MacGruber is. Is special.
Alex
Yeah. Randy Marsh, like, he can just. He can, like. He can get me with, like, a sentence and then.
Shane
But Randy Marsh in, like, later seasons. Yeah, the first, like, 10, he's kind of just a whatever character. And then he gets insane. It's. It kind of began with the. The Little League episode.
Alex
That was.
Shane
That was when he kind of broke and he becomes insane. And from then on out. Yeah, that's when he started becoming super funny. I would love to guess top three fictional characters. I think that's a good one.
Alex
Yeah.
Spencer
And then I don't know who I would pick.
Shane
You gotta think, man.
Spencer
Peter Griffin. Gotta guess.
Alex
Joe Swanson could be up there.
Shane
I never care about Joe. Peter Griffin is.
Spencer
Peter could kind of do anything.
Shane
Peter's probably like. As a kid, when I first started watching Family Guy, Peter made me laugh so hard. There's a level of confident stupidness that is so good.
Spencer
I just watched that clip on Twitter where he's like. He's like, don't talk to my wife, and he gives him a million dollars. Like, your daughter might be worth a million dollars, but to me, she's worthless.
Shane
No. And that's early Family Guy that I used to watch. It's just so good. Like, the vacuum joke is probably my favorite. When it's when the guy's like. It's a cutaway where the guy's like, yeah, Peter, we Figured out what's wrong with your vacuum. Turns out there was a half eaten meatball stuck inside of it. And he goes, oh, well, did you save it? And the guy's like, no. And he's like, oh, you bastard.
Alex
I even quoted the gen con. Of course, now I know it wasn't a cheeseburger.
Shane
He takes ecstasy.
Alex
No, but the other thing, I think when you.
Shane
A vacuum.
Alex
I was thinking of when Brian and Stewie, they're like in the bleachers for some game. And maybe they're not even at the bleachers, but like, oh, my God. Sorry. I'm so fucking sorry. But Stewie, Stewie. He's like. It's like a close up of Stewie and he's talking shit to Brian and he's like. And Brian's like, I'm gonna go tell us. He's like, no, I said vacuum.
Spencer
Oh, yes.
Shane
I said vacuum. Said vacuum. I have some games pitches here.
Spencer
Finally made Family Guy, Moose Master.
Shane
I'm wondering, I mean, first off question. How many more things do you think I can guess people off of? Do you think that series is running out of steam? I mean, we're doing. I know, we're doing childhood photos.
Spencer
Okay, I will never do it. But I do want to talk about. I want them to know about guessing feet. Yeah, it's guessing feet.
Shane
And.
Alex
But we've lost. But we lost the footage.
Spencer
So it's just Shane on a green screen and he's staring at it. He's just like staring at it. Normally I was like, those look great. Wow, I've never seen these. Is this. It's gotta be Tim, right?
Shane
They're clean.
Spencer
Clean cut.
Alex
I mean, if we wanted to get in Top Cali, like, guess the color of their underwear. It's the Charli xcx. Are you not online, bro? That's what Billie Eilish is doing.
Spencer
Did you want me to laugh? Did you want me to be impressed?
Shane
I have thought about laughter. Like, what's in their bag? Like, if everyone picks out like a couple items from their bag, Why?
Spencer
I also bring it out with, like, the Amoeba videos. What's in my bag?
Alex
And Amoeba.
Spencer
Did I say it's wrong? No, Amoeba. They do the YouTube videos? Yeah, they do. What's in my bag?
Shane
I thought it was gq.
Spencer
No, it's like the record store.
Shane
I think they were still around.
Alex
Can I have a hot take right now?
Shane
What's up?
Spencer
Sure.
Alex
Fuck Amoeba, dude.
Spencer
Actually, never been.
Shane
Are they still around?
Alex
I don't know.
Spencer
Man, no, they're on.
Alex
Every time I would go in there, it's like, I'd be like, oh, cool. Like this, this record I want. They'd be like, it's $50.
Spencer
Yeah, you're buying them new. Like you. I don't.
Shane
I don't.
Alex
Let me go on ebay and just like find someone who's fucking. I mean, they would be like old records, like used records. And I'd be like, you know, I want to get into. Trying to get into music.
Shane
Yeah, I've been listening. I had a bunch of. I've listened to a lot of music lately because my grandparents left a bunch of vinyl records. Oh, you were telling that when my grandparents passed away, I inherited a bunch of records. And I've been listening to them all and they're really dope.
Alex
That's sick.
Shane
There are a lot of old instrumental shit.
Spencer
We need a record player on set.
Shane
Oh, it's honestly fun to have one because it's like nice background music. It's not overpowering, it's gentle.
Alex
Is it Brennan, Sometimes Brennan will play stuff on that. That little. That little speaker.
Spencer
Scott. I think.
Shane
Scott, that makes sense.
Alex
I think Brandon's done it too.
Shane
Sound good.
Alex
I remember making requests. I remember being like, hey, put on some Deep Purple, bruh.
Spencer
I remember that day. I remember that. Okay, let's hear your. Let's hear me.
Shane
First off, some basic ones. We didn't get into this about the origin of gentlemans gencon last year. The origin of gentleman's just really briefly was. You wanted to make a more mellow video, right?
Spencer
No, no. We were in the hotel room at Gen Con last year and we were trying to pitch different things. I was like, well, what if we do Moosemaster? But it's civil.
Shane
Yeah.
Alex
Oh, yeah. Like polite.
Spencer
Polite Moosemaster. And then we're like gentleman. A gentleman's.
Shane
But then it ended up being opposite. Yes. And it became more insane. But I think gentleman's. Gentleman's werewolf. We were talking about, or you texted.
Alex
Me that this morning.
Shane
That. Yeah, that would be friggin sick. Yeah, gentleman's a lot of stuff. Gentleman Sniper chess.
Alex
Yeah, Gentleman's sniper chess.
Shane
I go car Gentleman Sniper.
Spencer
I want to do. I want to do O game. Pistol chess.
Alex
No, the pistol chess. I really like that idea. And this time, like, you know, I really want to get the glasses.
Spencer
I think we can get the glasses.
Alex
I was reading more about what the glasses do and it's. It's so you don't have to squint.
Shane
Yeah, that makes sense.
Spencer
Except for Blocking your peripherals. It's blocking the other. And then your dominant eye gets.
Alex
It's just like. So you don't have to, like, move your face at all.
Shane
Except for the one dude who just was.
Alex
Yeah.
Spencer
Both eyes open.
Shane
Just both eyes open just looking at it. Okay, so I have a couple. A couple here. I don't have too many. One that I have pitched before is Jenga, but with pool cues.
Alex
Oh, that's really fun.
Shane
Where you're far away and you have to. You have to knock out the pieces with.
Spencer
I think I saw a game. I think we actually have it at Gen Con where it's Jenga, but I think you're both. It's like a tug of war on the piece. Whoa. Fucked up. I don't remember Chug of War. The designer kind of had to demo it for me. We were at that bar with the Bop it guy, and he was like, oh, check it out. And he pulls it out. I'm like, oh, my God.
Alex
And that's what. Cause he went to this event and he kept telling me people kept giving him board games. It's funny. They just walk around kind of like.
Spencer
With board games, he's like, having them.
Shane
Yeah, yeah. Makes sense.
Spencer
I had my magic deck on me, and I was like. I was showing the guy there.
Shane
Okay, so a couple that I've thought of. Pachinko Connect 4.
Alex
Okay, how do we do that?
Shane
Well, you just make the thing. So it's all random, I guess.
Alex
To me, it's unlike. Who's gonna fucking make it, man?
Shane
Okay. But I feel like that's. You could probably buy some sort of basic wooden pachinko board, and then you're just dropping the Connect four pieces down, and then wherever they land, it's just random. It's just luck. Connect four with luck. I also thought Speedrun, Connect four tier.
Alex
And Connect four is funny where, you.
Shane
Know, like, maybe the Connect four thing is here in the middle. The pieces are all, like, on the opposite sides of the room. It's like, all right, you don't have to wait your turn. You just go as fast, but you can only go one at a time.
Alex
That's what I like about, you know, like, the commentators. Because I feel like that would be really good for, like, commentators.
Spencer
Yeah. Because, like, what are you gonna say during that?
Shane
Yeah, that's what's.
Alex
That's what's hard about some of these.
Spencer
But a commentator's like, don't win would be crazy too. Honestly, I would love to commentate a don't win video because it's just like, I love getting to watch and, like, try and think what they're gonna do. Like, what's the plan here? And then you guys can, like, look. Really. We can give you the glasses for that, too.
Shane
Really fun. Multiple versions of this, but chess with only queens.
Spencer
Yeah, that one sounds awesome.
Shane
But maybe if the board is like, three times the size or it's just really long. Yeah.
Spencer
All run chess, but it's really long.
Alex
Super long.
Shane
Just extra long.
Spencer
Yeah. No, the pieces are the same.
Alex
Yeah.
Shane
And then this last one, this last one you guys have thrown around, we can cut this if. If this is too.
Alex
I think I know what it is.
Shane
If. If we want to save this to unveil it, but a Woke moosemaster.
Alex
I love it.
Spencer
So this is what we were going to unveil at Vidcon.
Shane
Guys, step aside. Summer games. It's Woke moosemaster time. I think we've just been saying it as a joke, and we've said it. Woke Moose Mask.
Spencer
It has no backbone.
Shane
Makes us laugh so hard. And the thought of Woke moosemaster, where all the rules are just, like, ridiculous.
Alex
That was. So we played.
Spencer
You didn't say your pronouns at the.
Alex
Top of the same. Dumbass. No. Every draw a card, everything, like, just, like, making it super competitive, but also woke.
Spencer
Yeah.
Alex
Now our favorite running joke has just been calling things that just, like, are not at all. It's just like, I couldn't believe we.
Spencer
Were dropping that at. We played Tapple and Fuse with the op games with Ray and Adam, who were lovely. And we kept saying it, and they loved it.
Alex
Yeah.
Spencer
They were joining us.
Alex
People are ready.
Spencer
They are.
Shane
They're ready for this.
Alex
They're ready for Woke moosemaster, which, you know, we don't know.
Shane
We don't know. We don't know.
Alex
We don't know what it is.
Shane
We don't know at all.
Alex
Did y'all ever talk about, like, Angela's pitch? For what? Laser tag.
Shane
Laser tag. Eat it or eat it. Yes, she's brought it up. And every time I go, what is that? She goes, think about it.
Spencer
What did you say? In a smosh pit or it was in the. The smoshfit theater. Who's line? She said, like, upside down Monopoly.
Shane
Yeah. No, she loves.
Alex
Oh, for. She loves.
Shane
Collection of words. And then underwater. Yep. Something that makes sense.
Spencer
Underwater is a good theme.
Shane
Yeah. All right, we'll do it anyways. We're out of time. Anything else you guys want to say before we go?
Alex
Woke moose.
Spencer
Fast Woke Moose.
Alex
Anyways, watch Smosh games.
Spencer
I would like to plug my YouTube channel. Small. It's called Smosh Games. It'd mean a lot if you guys.
Shane
I don't think our audience is going to care about that.
Spencer
Okay. I think I might agree, actually.
Shane
Okay, fair. Well, thank you guys for being here. See you later. Bye.
