Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the podcast. If you're new here, welcome to Social Media Decoded, where we talk about visibility, personal branding, and how entrepreneurs turn their content into real opportunities and income. And today, I'm breaking down something I use every single week in my business, not just for my podcast, but for my content, my visibility, and honestly, my growth overall. And that is how I use Riverside to record, clip, and grow my podcast. Because a lot of people think podcasting is just record, upload, done. But that's not where the growth happens. The growth happens in what you do after. So get your pens and your notepads ready, because, you know gems are about to be dropped. While podcasting alone isn't enough. Let's start here, because I see this mistake all the time. People start a podcast, they record episodes, they upload them, and they wonder why nothing is happening. No growth, no traction, no visibility. And that's because they're treating the podcast like the end, when the podcast is actually the beginning. Your podcast is not just content. It is a content engine. Step number one is recording with Riverside. So let's get to recording. I use Riverside to record all of my episodes. And what I love about it is the quality, the ease, and the flexibility. I'm recording this podcast right now in my living room, looking out the window. It is beautiful outside. The sun is shining. And you're. You don't know that, right? Well, now you know, because I told you. But the sound, the quality, the is there. The flexibility to be able to record anywhere, whether I'm doing solo episodes, interviews, or recording video content. It gives me clean audio and video every single time. And that is what matters, because quality is what builds trust. But also, it's simple. I am not doing anything complicated. I'm not overthinking production. I just press record and I talk. That's it. Step number two, clipping content. Now, this is a game changer, and I want to just say that Riverside is a tool and a company that listens to the creators and experts that use it. They've come out with so many new features that I cannot personally keep up. And so one of the latest features that they have came up with that I can't wait to play around more with and that I'll be going deeper into is scheduling content. You no longer need another platform to schedule content because you can schedule your content right in Riverside. So you can record, edit, clip, and then schedule those reels and content out into the real world. What? Yes, absolutely. Now, this is where most people are leaving opportunities on the table. This is because after I record, I do not just upload the episode. I can clip it. And Riverside makes it so easy. They make magic clips for you. I have clients who have a live show, and we can clip the episodes right in Riverside. And it takes the magic clips, like, meaning the viral clips that they think are going to be viral for you, because it uses AI. It has so many AI tools, including editing with just a touch of a button. So Riverside makes it really, really easy. I can go back to each episode and pull short clips, key moments, strong statements, things that can stand on their own on social media. And then I use those clips for reels, Instagram posts, threads, LinkedIn stories. And now one episode becomes five to ten pieces of content. And this matters because visibility doesn't come from one post. It comes from repetition. And repurposing allows you to show up consistently without creating from scratch every single time. Who has time for that? Step number three, using clips to grow. Now, let's talk about growth, because this is where things start to connect. Your clips do the work. Someone sees a clip, they follow you. They listen to the episode, they DM you, they join your world. That's the flow. The clip from curiosity, then the podcast to connection. They DM you, then that's a conversation. And then you offer them something or invite them, and then that's a client. That is how this works. So let's get into today's room story. I've had people find me from a social media clip, or they listen to multiple podcast episodes, Then they join my community, or they book a call, and it doesn't start with a full episode. It just started with a moment, a clip on social media. And here's today's unpopular truth. Your podcast will not grow if you're not repurposing it. Recording is just step number one. Distribution is everything. So if you've been thinking about starting a podcast or you already have one, but you're not really seeing growth, I want you to simplify this Record clip share. That's it. And if you want the exact tool that I use, I will link Riverside in the show notes. It is the tool that I use to record everything, all of my content for this podcast and more. It has so many capabilities. You can go live. We won't get into all that. I'm going to create more episodes on Riverside, I promise. But if you want to check it out, you it's below in the show notes. And if you have questions on how I use it, please feel free to reach out. I've been a Riverside user since about 2020 2021. I'm an OG in this game. I'm not someone who hops tools. I really like to use tools, leverage them if they work. What's the message that they say? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And it's been working with Riverside and I really love this tool. If you've been following following me for a while, you hear me mention it all the time and it is the only tool that I use. And if you enjoyed today's episode, make sure you follow the podcast and leave a review. And if you're over on Spotify, answer the question. For today. Thank you so much for being here and I can't wait to talk to you in the next episode. Peace.
