Michelle Thames
Hello everyone and welcome back to the Social Media Decoded podcast. The number one podcast to help you understand social media better so that you grow your business, get more clients and monetize. And I'm Michelle Thames, Your host, a 15 year marketing expert, business coach, agency owner and your go to guide for building an impactful, sustainable business that aligns with all of your passions, my friend. And today we're going to talk about a question that I feel so many multi passionate entrepreneurs have. How do I bring everything I love into one cohesive brand? When you're a multi passion entrepreneur, it can feel like you're constantly trying to fit, trying to fit, okay, different pieces into a big puzzle. But the good thing is, and the good news is with the right approach, you can create a strong, unified brand that tells your story and resonates with your audience. So in this episode, friend, I'm sharing exactly how to create a cohesive brand that showcases all of your passions and expertise. You ready? And with it. Okay, so let's start with the idea of cohesion branding. What does that really mean? Michelle? A cohesive brand is a brand that feels whole and aligned. When people come across your social media or website, they should instantly understand who you are, what you stand for and why they should care. If your brand feels scattered, it's going to be harder to connect with your audience on a deeper level. But when it's Unified, it becomes magnetic. So how do you create that kind of brand? As a multi passionate entrepreneur, here are three powerful steps to bring all of your passions together into a cohesive, high impact brand. Number one, define your core brand message. The first step is defining a core message that ties everything together. I want you to think of your core message as the backbone of your brand. It is the thing that unites all of your interests and shows your audience what you're all about. To get there, ask yourself, what's the bigger purpose that all of my passions support? This might take a little digging, but once you identify the purpose, everything else starts to make sense. Here's an example. Say you're passionate about wellness, productivity and personal finance. Instead of treating them as separate interests, think of how they connect. Maybe your core message is something like helping people achieve balance and success in every area of their lives. Now, every piece of content that you share, whether it's about wellness or productivity, supports this overarching purpose. That's the power of a strong brand message. Your brand message is the starting point for all of your social media content and marketing. Okay. It is what makes people see you as a cohesive brand rather than a jack of all trades trying to do it all. When your message is clear, it creates an anchor that makes everything else you share feel aligned and intentional. Okay. I want you to identify your signature content themes. Once you establish your core message, it's time to break it down into what I like to call signature content themes or pillars. These items should represent the main areas of expertise that you want to showcase on social media and across your marketing channels. They give your audience a clear sense of who you are and allow you to cover multiple topics without confusing them. Example. Let's say your brand message is focused on helping people live a balanced, successful life. Your content themes might be wellness and self care, tips and insights on staying physically and mentally healthy, productivity and time management strategies for staying organized and achieving goals, financial empowerment, advice on budgeting, investing and financial well being. With these content themes in place, friend, you can confidently share diverse content that aligns with your brand's purpose. This approach is going to give you the freedom to explore all of your interests while still building a cohesive brand that resonates deeply with your audience and for real. Most importantly, it's going to help you. It's going to really help your audience understand how each area of your expertise supports the larger brand purpose that you've defined. Right. So really think about that. I know, it's like, wow, yes, you can do it. All, my friend. You can do it all. And I got you. I got you. I'm right here now. I am super excited because speaking of bringing your vision to life, if you're ready to take your brand to the next level and really map out a powerful strategy for 2025, I want to invite you to join me for Vision Craft 2025. Now, now that you have a clear message and content themes, the next step is to make sure that your brand feels cohesive visually and on. Tone in tone, right? This is where your brand voice and aesthetic come in. Your brand voice is the tone and the style that you use to communicate with your audience. Are you playful, conversational, professional, insightful? Choose a tone that reflects your personality and values. Please be authentic and keep it consistent across all your posts, emails, and interactions. For me, what you're gonna get is what you're gonna get on this, on the podcast, on the social media channels, and the emails. You already know if you met me in person. I'm the same everywhere, every single place that I am. Okay? So in terms of aesthetic, consistency is key. Friend, you want to. You really want to stay consistent. Okay. You want your audience to be able to recognize your content immediately, whether it's on Instagram, LinkedIn, your website, everywhere. Choose a color palette. Find everything that has a general look and feel of your brand. Think about your brand as if it's a person. Yes, friend, how would it dress? What vibes does it give off? Make sure that your visuals and voice match the feeling that you want people to get when they interact with your brand. Period. Okay? And here's an example. If your brand is about balance and empowerment, your aesthetic might be using calming colors, clean lines, uplifting images, and your brand voice will be warm, supportive, and encouraging. This helps create a cohesive experience for your audience, and this builds trust over time as they begin to associate that specific look and that tone with you. Yes, my friend. So to recap, building a cohesive brand as a multi passionate entrepreneur is all about aligning your passions under a core message. Friend using content themes to keep things organized and maintaining consistency in your voice and visuals.
