Welcome back to another episode of Social Media Decoded, the Go to podcast for entrepreneurs who want to get seen, get paid, and simplify their social media strategy. I'm your host, Michelle Thames, marketing strategist, digital creator and coach, helping you turn visibility into revenue. And today, I'm pulling back the curtain on one of my favorite coaching transformations. If you've ever felt like you're Instagram presence isn't reflecting your power or your purpose, this episode is for you. I recently had the pleasure of working one on one with Neta and she's the founder of Celebrating you Ministries. And in just 60 minutes, y', all, we revamped her Instagram bio, created a seven day content plan and beyond, and implemented a strategy that felt completely aligned with her mission. And she started getting results already. So in this episode, we're going to talk about the power of clarity, how to show with confidence online, and why your Instagram strategy should reflect your mission. So let's dive in. I am so excited. Welcome to the podcast. Let's start by telling the listeners a little bit about you, who you are, and what Celebrating youg Ministries is all about.
Neta Wilson
First off, Michelle, thank you so much for your services. Immediately, I felt seen and heard and validated. It's not that you need validation, but I remember when you helped me with my help statement. I was like, yeah, that's it. But I actually didn't think it was enough. And you actually just guided me through the process. You were my ears, you were my sounding board. And so I'm so grateful. But yes, I am Neeta Wilson and I am the founder of Celebrating youg. And I am a coach, a clarity coach, where I help women of faith who need encouragement, prayer, and also coaching to knock out the blocks in their life, the ones who are stuck, the ones who do not have the sacred space to actually convey what's on their hearts and mind so that we can get them on the path to embrace the life that God has for them. I'm also a speaker and also the founder celebrating you, a personal development company.
Michelle Thames
Yes, I absolutely love that. Thank you so much for being here today. And so let's talk about when you booked the Instagram intensive. Now you came to one of my webinars. What were you hoping to walk away with from that intensive?
Neta Wilson
Was hoping to walk away with a strategy. And you did not disappoint because I was posting on Instagram without a strategy, did not have any direction. I just post as I felt, you know, and what I learned from you and I thought that, hey, posting is going to get the client, but you taught me that it's all about visibility and it's also about showing up with authenticity and as myself. And that was a win. Those were the wins. I just move in confidence. I've gotten more followers, I have gotten discovery calls. And so. And I just feel that my content is in alignment with who I am. So it was like a win all over in every area.
Michelle Thames
Yes. I love that. And I remember during our session that we focused on a few key things and one of your biggest things was your Instagram bio and your content strategy. So how do you feel that that is going now? Cause I know you changed your bio. It didn't have a call to action, and we changed it to have a call to action. So I heard you say you got discovery calls. So how has that been?
Neta Wilson
That has been awesome. Not only discovery calls, but coffee chat. So possibly referral partners. The call to action is very. It gives me the connection to people that I don't know, like someone wants to reach out to me. I love the fact that I do have the call to action, like if you want to connect. So it's going well. It's just been a little over a month. Right. I believe. But I'm seeing the results. Like I've been looking at my analytics and seeing that I've got gained followers and everything. So I see that I'm on the. On the path, you know, and that's what it's all about. Yeah.
Michelle Thames
Because Instagram, it's a long game, social media in general. Right. I think building that foundation is important for everybody. Listening when you are just, you know, either you may just be starting out, you may be revamping your brand, you may be just trying to get more visible in front of more people, but having a strategic plan and knowing what to post and why and not just posting random content. Right. Posting content that actually matters. That actually matters when moving the needle in your business. So before we talk, you mentioned that you were maybe thinking about being everywhere. You know, there's all these channels, there's TikTok, YouTube, Facebook. So I know you create. We created your seven day plan and talked about the DM strategy that I use and that I share with my clients. So how has that shifted the way you think about your content and what you're posting?
Neta Wilson
My content now is more focused on my pillars. It's more focused on the tips and tools that you taught me. Like for me, you were saying with me talking rather than just posting generically or just writing a quote or a prayer, for example, for me to recite the prayer and to have more face to face time with the cameras, that has been my focus.
Michelle Thames
Yes, I love that face to face time with the camera. I think it's important for anyone who is a coach and consultant and helping someone. Right. People, especially on Instagram is very visual platform and people connect with people. Right. And so they're probably gonna most likely connect with you because they like you versus, you know, they just randomly come across your page and buy. Like, I don't know if it necessarily always happens like that. Right. People get to know you, who you are and then buy into you, into your personality and what you do. So it's not just about posting a post, it's about creating intentional visibility that turns into real relationships and eventually real results. And I hear that that is what you're saying here right now. You've already started implementing some of this. Have you noticed any changes in your engagement since applying the strategy? I know you said you got some followers, but have you noticed anything with engagement too as well?
Neta Wilson
Yes, I've definitely have more engagement. But what sticks out the most, which is unbelievable that I didn't have before working with you, is was the confidence to stand on my pillars. Like, you just don't know how I was thinking like, well, let me post this, let me post that. But working with you and to understand how I'm showing up for my people, it Gives me the core values, you know, prayers, encouragement, you know, coaching tips so I don't have to wonder, like, maybe I should change this or change that. I, I've been even looking at existing, weeding out a dis, you know, existing content that I have that fits those pillars. So that's the main thing. And because of that, I do get more engagement along with the followers. So it was almost immediate when I work review because I. Some things I did immediately and. But it was almost immediately where I could see the change, especially when it came to the followers. And I haven't even gone full steam yet. So I'm just excited what's, what's to come.
Michelle Thames
I'm so excited that everything is working for you and this strategy is working. And I think again that intentional visibility is really, it matters. Right? And just having a call to action when someone lands on your page, really knowing them, knowing who you are and what you do. And that's really what I love about these intensives. When your mission and your marketing finally align, I feel like you become magnetic online. So for you to say like that, you're already seeing results. That's that, Michelle. Magnetic. That's the magnetic ability of strategy. And get this, you don't need 10,000 followers or viral reels because you don't have 10,000 followers. Correct.
Neta Wilson
Right. I don't. I don't. And not only that, it's just knowing like you don't know what you don't know, but to work with an expert who's been there and done that and as a guide to help you along the way. And not one thing I love about you, you're not just talking, you walk your talk, you teach us what you enforce in your own business. And so if they want to see the guide, they just follow you, but they really want to go deep, have that conversation, get that one on one intensive because you actually do a thorough look at our business online, you know, so even with the masterclass, that was good. But the intensive, if you really want to evolve and grow the intensive, because that one on one, nothing replaced that.
Michelle Thames
One on one, yes. You just need the clarity, consistency and confidence in your message. I feel that once you get that, it's gold. And yeah, so if you're listening and you're like, what masterclass is she talking about? You can always hit me up for this masterclass replay. I will let you get the replay for free. You can DM me the word Instagram over on Instagram to get that masterclass for free. But what we're talking about. Here is the intensives. Now this is in 60 minutes, you all, when I say we come to this call and at whatever time it is 301, we're getting to work on your strategy. Okay. We're not wasting time and I'm gonna send you a full report after the call is over so that you know exactly what to do. And my DMs are open as well for us to connect. Like if you have questions while you're implementing the things that you're implementing, but you may be listening and say, okay, well Michelle, I don't wanna focus on Instagram, I wanna focus on my podcast. The intensive is also if you want to focus on your podcast, your email list, whatever your visibility strategy looks like. But again, I do have kind of that Instagram masterclass replay that you can always get from me. So I love this, I love this conversation. And again, thank you for sharing that. It is about that Clarity, consistency and again, confidence in your message. What would you say to someone who is faith driven, building a brand and struggling to show up online? Consistency. What would you say to that person?
Neta Wilson
Well, first of all, I want to reply to you. When it comes to the intensive, the best part of the report is that you insert replays, the recordings so you can literally go back to the conversation, you can revisit the conversation and it's forever. So I love that about it. Besides getting in touch with you?
Michelle Thames
Yes, besides getting in touch with me.
Neta Wilson
I would say it's time to do a self inventory. I would say it's time to really sit with yourself to decide what is it that you're bringing to the world, what are your pillars and most importantly, what do you need in that moment. Because a lot of time we focus on all of our wants and we focus on all of our things, which can be a distraction, but we have to narrow it down to that. What's the next thing do I need to do to get to where I want to go? Whether that's hiring you or maybe removing some systems or redefining your systems or even your pillars. But whatever it is to. You may need to extrapolate to get what you need to move forward. I would say doing that self inventory inventory of your business and then get the support that you need. Because I know that we sometimes think that we may not can afford to do it with someone else, but look to see what you can do because resources are out there. Whether it's hiring someone or if you know, I learned from my business coach, it's either time or money. So either you can help hire someone or do the work yourself. But first of all find out what it is that you need and then go after that and not try to do all the things. Just focus on that first thing.
Michelle Thames
Love that. What a powerful conversation. And thank you so much for sharing and being an action taker. I know this is just the beginning for Celebrating you Ministries and everything that you're building. So make sure you let everyone know where they can find you online if they want to connect with you. Where can we connect with you online?
Neta Wilson
You can connect with me on Instagram at Celebrating you Ministries. I'm also on Facebook under Celebrating you Ministries and you can also find me on LinkedIn under my name, Nita Wilson. I also have a YouTube that I just started under Nita Wilson as well.
Michelle Thames
Yes, I love that. So yes, and we will make sure we put all of your information down below in the show notes so that everyone can connect with you online. And if today's episode spoke to you and you're ready for clarity, confidence and a customized plan to finally make Instagram or beyond work for your brand, I would love to work with you. Go ahead and DM me the word intensive over on Instagram ichellellthanes and I'll send you all the details to book your session.
