I think a lot of people are underestimating how powerful Threads actually is. Not because it gets views, but because it creates conversations. And conversations change businesses. You are listening to Social Media Decoded, the podcast for entrepreneurs who want visibility that actually leads to opportunities. I'm your host, Michelle Thames, and let's get into it. So one thing I've been thinking about lately is how differently I approach Threads compared to most people. A lot of people are still using it like a content platform. I use it like a relationship platform. That's the difference. Because honestly, I'm not logging into threads thinking, how can I go viral today? I am thinking, how can I become more recognizable? How can I start conversations? How can I build relationships? How can I create opportunities? That shift alone changed everything for me. And what's crazy is some of the biggest, and I mean biggest, opportunities I've recently had started from threads. Threads. Conversations. Not perfectly curated content. Not a funnel, not ads. Conversations. I got a speaking opportunity because of threads. I've built podcast relationships because of threads. I've met aligned women through threads. People have joined my community because of threads. People have also booked calls because of threads. And honestly, even rooms I'm building now are fueled through threads because people are craving connection. And I think entrepreneurs are finally realizing that visibility is not just about being seen anymore, it's about being remembered. That's authority. Authority is not. Look at how successful I am. Authority is when people consistently see your perspective, your energy, your voice, your ideas, they begin associating you with a certain conversation. And that's what I've intentionally built. When people think about visibility, community, relationships, ecosystems, rooms, opportunities, and conversation driven marketing, I want my name connected to that. And Threads has been one of the best places to reinforce that consistently. But here's what most people are doing wrong. They're posting random thoughts with no strategy behind them. And I know people hate hearing the word strategy because they think it means robotic or overly planned. But strategy can simply mean what do I want people to associate me with? That's it. Every post is shaping perception. Every conversation is Shaping perception. Every comment is shaping perception. And I think a lot of entrepreneurs are missing opportunities because they're not intentionally building authority online. They are just posting. Meanwhile, I am using threads to build rooms, start conversations, connect with decision makers, meet collaborators, create visibility, and strengthen relationships. Even my event in November, Threads is helping me shape that room. Already people are finding me there, following the movement there, connecting with the energy there. People. Because people don't just buy events anymore. They buy energy, they buy vision, they buy belonging, they buy rooms they want to be a part of. And honestly, that's why threads work so well for me right now. It allows people to feel connected to you before they ever met you. And that's powerful. And I think entrepreneurs need to stop treating social media like a billboard and start treating it like a conversation. Because conversations create trust. Trust creates opportunities, opportunities create revenue. That's the real pipeline. Not post every day and hope that doesn't work. So here's what I want you to do this week. If you really want to grow on threads, stop trying to sound impressive and start sounding recognizable. Talk about what you believe, what you're building, what you're noticing, what frustrates you, what excites you, what conversations you want to lead. Because the goal is not just attention. The goal is authority. And if you want to learn how. I am using threads to build visibility, relationships, opportunities, clients, rooms and revenue. DM me the word threads on Instagram because trust me, there is a much bigger strategy behind threads than most people realize. And I want you to be in on that.
