I'm your host Michelle Thames and today I'm pulling back the curtain just a little bit because one thing people ask me all the time is Michelle, how do you get people to DM you ready to buy without selling all day? And let me be clear, I'm not doing anything complicated. I'm not doing anything manipulative. But I am doing something extremely intentional, something most people skip, something most people don't even know is happening. So today I'm going to explain why it works, not the mechanics, and how you can start thinking differently about the way you warm your audience. So get your pens and your notepads ready. Let's get into it. The real reason that you're not getting DMs. Most people think warming leads means posting more, talking more, educated more, convincing more. But that's not warming, that's exhausting. Who has time for that? Not you or me, right? Real warming is energetic and strategic, not tactical. People DM me because by the time they reach out, they feel like I understand their problem. I have a proven lens they can't google. I think differently than the average marketer. I'm already in their head and I'm already part of their routine. You can't fake that. That comes from repetition of identity, not repetition of Content. And that is what most people miss, what warming actually is. Because here's the part nobody says Warming leads is not about teaching. It's about TR your audience to trust your perspective. I'm not warming people with tutorials. I'm warming them with tone, consistency, storytelling, point of view, calm, confidence, high level frameworks without, of course, spilling the blueprint. And people don't come to me because I give away everything. They come to me because I make the path feel simple and the execution feel supported. They don't know my frameworks, they don't know my systems, they don't know the tech or the steps. And I don't say them on purpose. I give you the what and the why, not the here's exactly how to do it. Because the how depends on your brand, your audience, your messaging, and your stage of business. That part, that's VIP territory. What people don't realize about my content is people think. Michelle posts a lot. That's why she gets clients. No, the posting is surface level. The warming happens in the podcast, in the emails, in the point of view the brand patterns, the consistency of message, and the way I connect the dots that no one else connects.
