Make it about them and not you. Podcasting is about connection. Focus every episode on a real problem or desire that your audience has. Don't be afraid to get specific and say something like here's how to go from zero audience to wait listed clients.

Welcome to day two of the Booked Invisible series. I'm Michelle Thames and today we're getting into one of my secret weapons for visibility and sales. Your own podcast. If you've ever thought, can I really start a podcast if I'm not famous? Yes, you can. Will it even help me get clients? Yes, it can. I got you. So when I first launched my Show Back in 2020, I was just a mom and an entrepreneur with a story. I knew I had always wanted to have my own show and I knew that it was something that I could do. I was already on social media, but I knew that my voice was my superpower and I needed to build something outside of Social media. Fast forward. My podcast is now a key driver for my business. I've booked clients, I've sold out of events, I've launched digital products and I've made real friends just from my podcast. And I want to talk about three keys to a client attracting podcast. So get your pins and your notepads out because this is about to be really good. Okay, this is jam packed with goodness. The first thing is to make it about them and not you. Podcasting is about connection. Focus every episode on a real problem or desire that your audience has. Don't be afraid to get specific and say something like here's how to go from zero audience to wait listed clients. The second thing is consistency and value, but not overwhelm. I don't do overwhelm. Do not let perfection stop you. It's better to show up. It's better to show up real and imperfect than wait for perfect audio. Consistency matters. Your podcast becomes the heartbeat of your content. And guess what? You can repurpose it for reels, stories, carousels, LinkedIn. It all starts here. And then the third thing is you want to always invite the next step. Every episode guides your listeners. Something like DM youA keyword like pod, fix or event. Join your open house or your next event. Tap the link in your bio for the next step. That's how you turn listeners into leads without being spammy. And y' all My November event is selling out already. Seven tickets gone. I am so stoked for this November to welcome women to the city of Chicago to to get visible, get more clients, get booked and make more money in your business. And I'm super excited to share all the speakers. If you head on over to my Instagram, you will see a pin post that shares all about the amazing speakers that are going to be with me as well. Candice, Janae, Jordan Gill and Taylor Smith. Let me guess, you've been showing up on Instagram trying to be consistent. But your stories? Crickets. Here's the thing. Stories sell when you use them, right? So I created a free mini guide called the $200 a day story Strategy to help you start turning views into conversations and conversations into cash. Inside, I give you the exact framework that I've used to sell out offers using just Instagram stories and voice notes. No ads, no pressure. Grab it for free at the link in the show notes or DM me the word story S T O R y on Instagram. Your content is powerful. Let's make it also profitable. And if you want accountability and a hype Squad, go ahead and DM me Queen to join the Instagram group chat. Okay, it's going down this summer and we're keeping each other accountable. If this episode inspired you to launch your podcast, screenshot it and tag me at Michelle L. Themes, I want to cheer you on. Remember, this is day two of the Booked Invisible series.
