Hey hey and welcome back to another episode of Social Media Decoded. I'm your host Michelle Thames and today we're going deep because most brands they just post content but the powerful ones, they tell stories that move industries forward. They create impact, they create momentum and they build movements. And recently my agency Thames Media Solutions had the honor of doing exactly that by partnering with our client constructreach at their I built this experience in Cleveland, Ohio this October table. Today I am sharing the strategy, the execution and the results and also the lessons behind turning a real world event into a multi platform visibility machine. So this is a case study, okay real time in fact that we are helping to transform our clients visibility online. So go ahead and grab your pins and your notepads because this is going to be a good one and and gems will be dropped. Now let's get into it. Let me set the stage for you. Construct Reach is a workforce development organization focused on exposing diverse young talent to careers in construction. This isn't a content campaign. This is about helping students who may have never seen someone in construction who looks like them see opportunity, feel possibility and imagine a future they can build. And, and our job was, and our job was not just to get and post content. It was to tell the story, to amplify the mission to turn a physical event into a sustained digital momentum. If you are a founder, a marketer or a brand leader, this episode is for you. Because visibility is not about posting, it's about positioning and purpose. So the vision before we touched a camera or drafted a caption, we aligned with construct reach on their vision. Social media is not just about content, it's about movement building. The brand pillars that we anchored into were community, opportunity, visibility and partnership. And we treated the event like a launch, not like a one day moment. So we did not just show up and post. We showed up to build a narrative and momentum. So we asked what story are we telling, who are we empowering, what emotions need to be felt and what future are we painting? This is what entrepreneurs and brands often miss. Your marketing should not just show what happened. It should make your audience feel what, why it matters. Now let's get into the nitty gritty. The strategy. You know I love a good strategy. Of course. So before the event what we helped to do was build anticipation. Okay. The theme, Future builders a countdown strategy leading up to the event. Okay. We helped to just put out some content before the event started. Movement energy means people should feel, feel it coming before they see it happen during the event. This is where many brands lose momentum. They just shoot randomly, they wing it. We do not do that. We have a content operating system beforehand. We pre planned a shot list. We did daily stories. So daily stories, what the plan were going to be. For the Instagram stories, we got point of view captures. We got student and educator interviews and testimonials behind the scenes and emotional moments. We got speaker moments from the two leaders of the organization, the thought leaders, Paul and Ebony, the CEO and coo. We got partner highlights and we got dedicated roles for content capture. And we tie the real time content to the mission. When students see what's possible, they begin to build what's next. That line alone movement, language, sound bite gold. And we got some really good sound bites. Okay. After the event. Now execution does not stop when the event ends. That's where Thames Media is different. We don't just post to post. We really want to understand your brand. We really want to understand the story behind what you are doing. So that we can so that we can share that to help you increase your visibility. So after the event we rolled out recap reels from the event. The recap reel went out the next day. School appreciation post showing the appreciation to the schools that attended the event. We have partner spotlights, leadership moments, behind the scenes clips, testimonial reels and a lot of this stuff we are still rolling out because the event was October 20th and it's just November 11th. Okay. Thought leadership captions and a multi day drip of storytelling. We monitored profile taps, link clicks and non follower reach. We also monitored saves and shares and DM conversations. That's how you extend a moment into momentum. Now let's talk about the real good stuff which is the results in just 45 days. Okay. We started with Construct reach on this contract and in September and in just 45 days from the day we started to after the I built this event in Cleveland which happened on October 20. In 45 days we saw an increase in 596% for views, 253% increase in reach, 1,400% in link clicks. Major partner amplification. We got so many brands to get do collab posts with us and also reshare our content. We increase youth and educator engagement, industry visibility and credibility and content pipeline for weeks, not days. No ads, no hacks, no gimmicks, just strategy, clarity, collaboration and execution. And here's the real lesson. Long term brand visibility is better than and I take that over any viral moment any day. We are not chasing trends. We're building legacy content and movement energy. So the key takeaways from this case study is that you do not need tens of thousands of followers to be visible on social media. Our client has less than 2,000 followers. Okay. Your blueprint is to treat events like media launches, build a narrative before, during and after the event, prioritize story over aesthetics and make sure you capture emotion and impact, not just the activity. Tag, partner and amplify and give your audience someone to root for and use AI to organize script captions and shot lists. Because you better believe I leverage ChatGPT for all of that and and measure what matters. Profile taps, link clicks, saves and shares. That's what matters. If you run events, build programs or support mission based brands. Don't just create content, create connection, create belonging and create a movement. If you want to see exactly how we executed this campaign, the breakdown, the content framework, the KPIs and the blueprint you can use for your own events, I put together for you inside of our Impact Visibility and Case Study. I put it all together for you inside of the Impact Visibility Case Study and Event Content System. Just DM me the word impact on Instagram or click the link in the show notes and I'll send it straight to your inbox. This episode wasn't about posting, it was about leading through storytelling. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to today's episode. If you found this helpful, please share it with a friend and also leave a rating or review on Apple and Spotify. Until next time. Go build visibility that matters. I will talk to you in the next one. Peace.
