People never believe me when I say I'm just like them. I take out the trash, do dishes, and I struggle with moderate obstructive sleep apnea, or osa. And a lot of adults with obesity also struggle with moderate to severe osa. You know, those scary breathing, interruptions during sleep, the loud snoring, choking, and daytime fatigue. I knew I had to talk to my doctor. Don't sleep on the symptoms. Learn more@don'tsleeponosa.com this information is provided by.

Hey, y'. All. Welcome back to Social Media Decoded. It's Michelle Thames, and today we're having a very real conversation. This episode is for the creators, entrepreneurs and leaders who are wondering, how am I still supposed to be doing this? Is it too late for me? Am I doing something wrong? Because this feels so hard. I've been a creator and marketer for over 16 years. Before reels, before influencers were a thing, before brand deals were glamorized. And I want to talk about what actually keeps you in the game. No hacks, no trends, no viral moments. Longevity. The part people don't see. Now let me go ahead and pull the curtain back. In 16 years, I've almost quit multiple times, had seasons where brand deals dried up, watched multiple platforms change overnight, seen people blow up fast and disappear faster, question my identity more times than I can count. What people see now is consistency. What they don't see is evolution. Longevity is not staying the same. It's knowing when to shift. So why trends don't sustain you here is one of the biggest lies in the creator space. If you just find the right trend, everything will work. Trends give you attention, but systems give you stability. Every time I stayed in business, it wasn't because I posted more. It was because I built systems. Community, boundaries, offers that evolved with my life. If you want to be here 5, 10, 15 years from now, trends cannot be the foundation. The real reason I'm still here isn't talent. It's community over clout, relationships over reach, boundaries over burnout, and evolution over ego. I stopped trying to be everything to everyone, and I started building a visibility ecosystem, not just content. That's when everything changed. Clients stayed longer, opportunities came easier, events sold out, and my work felt aligned again. What I wish I had 10 years ago. If I could go back and hand my younger self something, it would be clarity. Not motivation, not aesthetics, not hustle. Clarity. Clarity around my message to my audience, my offers, my visibility strategy. That's exactly why I created the Visibility and Clarity Kit. Because this is the roadmap I wish I had when I was trying to figure it out on my own. If you're listening to this and thinking I want to do this for the long haul, start building for longevity. And if you want the roadmap, grab the Visibility and Clarity kit. If you want long game support, apply for one of my retreats. And if you want proximity and strategy, book a VIP day. You don't need to burn brighter, you just need to build smarter. I cannot wait to talk to you all in the next episode. Peace.
