Let's be real. Most of our friends and families are not entrepreneurs and they think that we're just playing on Instagram all day. They don't understand why we're up working late, why we stress over sales, or why we keep investing in courses and coaching. Right? You may be stuck and I'll figure it out myself. Mo and a lot of entrepreneurs, especially in the beginning, believe that they have to do everything alone to prove that they're capable. But guess what? The most successful business owners have a network. Hey hey. Welcome to the Social Media Decoded Podcast, the Go to podcast for entrepreneurs and business owners who want to grow their brand, increase visibility and make more money without the overwhelm. I'm your host, Michelle. Thanks, marketing strategist, business coach, and the person who's here to give you the real no fluff strategies to help you succeed online. Each week I bring you expert insights, actionable tips, and real talk about what's actually working in social media and digital marketing. Whether you're just starting or scaling the six figures, you're in the right place. So grab your coffee or Matcha if you're like me. And let's dive into today's episode Foreign let's talk about something real today. Entrepreneurship can feel lonely as heck. I know so many of you are out there building your business, grinding every day, doing all the things but still feeling like it's just you against the world. You're watching other people succeed, wondering how they're making connections, landing clients and growing while you're out here Figuring out everything on your own. And here's the truth. Entrepreneurs who try to do everything alone struggle the most. And today, we're breaking it all the way down. Why? Why that happens, why you need to do things differently, and how finding the right community, not just any community, but the right one, can literally change everything. So if you've ever thought, I don't need a network or I can figure this out myself, I need you to lean in, friend. Lean all the way in. Because this might be the episode that shifts everything for you. So first, let me talk about why so many entrepreneurs struggle alone in the first place. Because trust me, it's not just you. I've been there. Here's a fact. A study by the Harvard Business Review found that loneliness is the one of the most right. One of the biggest challenges that entrepreneurs face, leading to burnout and poor decision making, which we do not need. So why does this feel so isolating? Number one, you're doing everything yourself. When you start a business, suddenly you're not just the CEO, you're the marketer, the accountant, the salesperson, the social media manager, the customer service rep. It's a lot to let's be honest. And because you wear so many hats, it's easy to think that no one else understands your struggle. But the truth is, is that your friends and family don't get it. Let's be real. Most of our friends and families are not entrepreneurs. And they think that we're just playing on Instagram all day. They don't understand why we're up working late, why we stress over sales, or why we keep investing in courses and coaching. Right? You're. You may be stuck. And I'll figure it out myself. Mo and a lot of entrepreneurs, especially in the beginning, believe that they have to do everything alone to prove that they're capable. But guess what? The most successful business owners have a network. And let me share my personal story with you. And I tried to do it all alone. Let me take you back to when I was first starting out in business. I thought I had to do everything myself. Real talk. From figuring out social media to creating my offers, to trying to understand how to get clients. I spent hours Googling things, watching free webinars, and trying to DIY my way to success. And let me tell you, it was exhausting. I was second guessing everything. I didn't have anyone to bounce ideas off of. And every time something didn't work, I felt like I was failing. But let me tell you what the game changer has been finding my People. The moment I found a community of entrepreneurs who actually understood what I was going through, everything shifted. And suddenly I had people to talk to. When I felt stuck, I had accountability and I had others cheering me on. And most importantly, I saw what was actually working instead of just guessing all the time. So here's what I know for sure. Okay? Lean in. Entrepreneurs who have a strong support system grow faster, stay in the game longer, and make more money. According to a LinkedIn study, 70% of small business owners who actively network say their business has grown directly because of the connections. And I tell you, I am one of those 70%. Having the right community does three major things. Number one, it keeps you accountable. When you're in a group of business owners who are actually taking action, you can't help but level up too. If you're just out there on your own, it's easy to let days or weeks go by without making real moves. And I don't want that for you. Friend number two, you get access to real time support and strategies. Stop trying to piece together advice from YouTube videos and random Instagram posts. The right community will give you answers and guidance in real time. And it also opens up doors you didn't think existed. Some of my biggest business opportunities, whether it's speaking gigs, collaborations, or client referrals, have come from me being in the right rooms. Relationships open doors that hard work alone cannot. So let's talk about how to find and choose the right community. Because not all communities are created equal. You don't just need a group of people, friend. You need a space that actually helps you grow. Here's what I want you to do. I want you to look for a community that aligns with your goals. If you're trying to build a coaching business, don't join a general entrepreneurship group for dropshippers. Right? Get in rooms where the conversations match your vision. Find a space where people actually take action. If you're in a group and it's just a bunch of people complaining about how hard business is, but nobody is actually implementing the strategies. Run. Run fast. You need to be in rooms where people are getting results. And the third thing? Make sure that the community provides support, not just content. You don't need more information, you need implementation. The best communities aren't just teaching, they're holding you accountable and helping you take action. So friend, if this sounds like you and you are doing everything yourself, stop trying to do this alone. Listen, if you've been struggling in your business and trying to figure everything out on your own, this is Your sign to stop. Here's a 80% of businesses fail within the first five years. And do you know one of the biggest reasons entrepreneurs try to do everything alone? Success isn't about hustling harder. It is about getting in the right rooms, having the right conversations, and learning from people who have already done what you're trying to do. So let me ask you this friend who's in your circle. Are you trying to build a six figure business with a DIY Google everything mindset or are you ready to surround yourself with people who will actually help you grow? If you're tired of doing it alone, friend, I would love to invite you to a space where you're surrounded by entrepreneurs who get it for the women entrepreneurs out there. And even if you're working a 9 to 5 and have a side hustle, my community elevate and empower is where we make things happen together. Okay? So I hope that you enjoyed this episode. I hope that you got some gems. Okay? I hope that some gems were dropped here today. And remember, you don't have to do it all alone, friend. You can do it with people who get you. Okay? If you want to check out more about my community for women entrepreneurs, elevate and empower, check out the information down in the show notes, okay?
