I'm your host Michelle Thames, and today I'm sharing something super actionable. My five Step Visibility Checklist for entrepreneurs. If you ever wondered, am I doing the right things to actually get seen by the right people, this checklist will make it super clear for you and I promise if you follow it, you'll stop wasting time on random content and start building real authority. So let's start with messaging visibility. What I know and is for sure true starts with clarity. If your message isn't clear, your content will not convert. I mean, it's 100 with that, ask yourself, can someone look at my profile and instantly know what problem I solved and for who? If not, we gotta go back to square one and start there. Then step two is platform focus. Now stop trying to be everywhere. I know it's like there's Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, a podcast, all these places. But I want you to choose two to three main platforms. Max. For me right now it's Instagram, LinkedIn and Threads, plus this podcast and YouTube. That's it. I'm really building back up my YouTube. But that's it. I do post on Facebook. Okay, cool. But authority isn't built in chaos, it's built with focus. So focus in on a few key areas where you know absolutely that your ideal client is. And then let's talk about these content pillars. Okay, I know many people mix up content pillars. They have too many content pillars. Your content should rotate between authority, content, teaching your frameworks, relatable edutainment, Content, especially on Instagram, people want to see relatable, they don't want to see stiff. One, two, three, step. That's. That type of content is done, okay? Your stories, behind the scenes, that's what they want to see. Social proof, yes. We have to see testimonials and client wins. Be believable, show the process, even if it's messy. And then you got to have a call to action. Your freebies, your offers. If you're missing these, you got a hole in your visibility plan. Now, community and networking is my thing. When I say I am the connector, that is one of my superpowers. I was given the gift to be a person who connects people and is able to build authentic community. And I thank God every day for giving me that gift, because it is a gift, okay? It is a gift and I cherish this gift. Now, visibility isn't just about posting, it's being in the room. And that's why I host events like My Coffee and Connections that I recently hosted. Online authority is great, but nothing beats connecting with people face to face and in real time. Covid had us in the house, but people are back outside and I'm back outside building community. So where can you show up this month outside of your own platforms? Go on, eventbrite. Look at some events in your niche, in your area. I guarantee you they're happening. I guarantee you. And then nurture system. This is where most entrepreneurs fall flat. You post content, but then what? You need a system that takes people from follower, freebie, email, nurture to your offer.
