Like literally paused. Because everything I saw on that calendar, every opportunity came from a relationship. Not an algorithm, not a viral post, not a funnel, a person, a connection, a moment, a conversation. People who knew my work, trusted my integrity, believed in what I do, remembered my name, wanted to elevate me in rooms I wasn't in. And it hit me like a wave. My network wasn't just helpful, it was a revenue producing asset. An asset I didn't even realize I was sitting on. And the truth is, most entrepreneurs completely underestimate the value of the rooms they're in, the people they know, and the proximity they have access to. How How Relationships shaped My Entire Career Let me be real with you when I look back at my journey. Being fired from my job in 2016. Freelancing, blogging, influencing. Working with brands, leading major marketing campaigns, launching my agency building. This podcast. Every pivotal moment was rooted in relationship. Everyone. Let me give you actual examples.
