And now for a bit of breaking news. Between your breaking news with me, the Geico Gecko, here are some things you ought to know today. People who switch their car insurance to geico save about $900 a year. Experts are calling that nice to know. Also, plants can hear when bees buzz. My ficus just heard that. And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have regional accents. I'm getting a hint of Irish there.

Can I be honest? I think a lot of entrepreneurs events are missing the thing people actually need most. Connection. Not surface level networking. Not collecting Instagram followers. Not awkward. Tell us what you do. Conversations. I mean real connection, real conversations, real collaboration, real rooms where people walk away changed. And honestly, that's one of the biggest reasons I'm hosting my conference in November. You're listening to Social Media Decoded, the podcast for entrepreneurs who want visibility that actually leads to opportunities. I'm your host, Michelle Thames, and let's get into it. You already know. So lately I've been thinking about a lot of rooms. Not just events, not just conferences, but rooms. Because rooms change things. One conversation can change your business. One introduction can lead to a partnership. One person believing in your vision can unlock something you've been praying for. And I think in this online world, a lot of people are visible but still disconnected. They're posting every day, creating content nonstop, showing up online constantly. But they still don't feel seen. They still don't feel supported. They still feel like they're building a loan. And I know that feeling deeply. There have been so many moments in entrepreneurship where I wished there were wounds, where I could just exhale. A room where people were not competing. A room where conversations were deeper than was your niche. A room where women were building real things, real businesses, real communities and real movements. Not just aesthetics, not just pretending online, not just quote unquote, look successful. And honestly, that's why this event matters so much to me, because I wanted to create the Room I wish existed. I wanted to create a space where visibility actually turns into opportunities, where women collaborate instead of clinging to proximity, where conversations matter more than follower counts, where somebody could walk in nervous and leave with real relationships. That's the vision behind this. Not just an event, a room, a movement, a shift. And one thing I've realized over the last year especially, is this. The women who are growing right now, they are not growing alone. They are in rooms. They are having conversations, they are building relationships, they are getting into proximity, they are collaborating. And I think entrepreneurship has become very isolating. People are overwhelmed. People are tired. People are trying to build businesses from behind the screens without real support systems. But community changes things. Rooms change things. I've seen it happen from the coffee chats I have, from podcast interviews, from local meetups, from speaking events, from random conversations that turned into opportunities I never saw coming, even recently, just getting out more, intentionally meeting with aligned women, having real conversations. It reminded me that entrepreneurship is not supposed to feel this lonely. And I want this conference to feel intentional. Not overcrowded, not performative, intentional. That's why we're doing the Friday VIP dinner and awards ceremony. Because I want real conversations and connections. I want people sitting across from each other, talking about vision, life, visibility, motherhood, business, purpose, burnout, growth, all of it. I want women leaving, saying, wow, I finally found my people. And then Saturday is going to be about visibility, collaboration, relationships, opportunities, community, storytelling, content, partnerships, all the things that actually move businesses forward now. Because honestly, I think the future belongs to people who know how to build community, people who know how to connect, people who know how to create ecosystems instead of just content. That's the shift. And this event is for the woman who knows she's meant for more. The woman building something real, the woman who's tired of surface level everything. The woman who wants to be in rooms where people truly see her vision. And maybe that's you. So if this episode resonated with you, if you've been craving deeper conversations, aligned community, visibility, collaboration, opportunities and support, I want you in the room.
