I think most people are completely using threads wrong. And that's exactly why they're frustrated. Because they're treating Threads like another platform to post on instead of what it actually a relationship building platform. So lately I've been seeing a lot of people say things like Threads doesn't work. I'm not growing, I am not getting clients. There's no point. And honestly, most of the time when I look at what they're doing, they're just posting and disappearing. No conversations, no engagement, no relationship building, no personality, no opinions and no community energy. It's just random posts. And that is the problem. Threads is not Instagram. Let me repeat, Threads is not Instagram. Threads is also not LinkedIn. Threads is not Post and Ghost. Threads actually rewards people who know how to have conversations. That's the shift that people are missing. The people winning right now on Threads are not necessarily the people with the prettiest graphics or most polished brands because you don't even need to post graphics or videos or anything like that on threads. It's the people who know how to start Conversations share perspectives, build relationships, and make people feel. Feel something. This is why I keep saying, visibility alone is not enough anymore. You need connection. And honestly, Threads has become one of the fastest ways to build authority online right now. Because people can actually hear your voice. Not your curated version, your real voice, your thoughts, your observations, your hot takes, your stories and your energy. And that is why I love it so much, because people don't just follow you there, they start to know you. And knowing leads to trust, and trust leads to opportunities. That's how I've gotten podcast guests, speaking opportunities, connections, collaborations, coffee chats, clients, and partnership conversations. Not from posting, perfectly from conversations. And I think a lot of entrepreneurs are stuck in the quote unquote content mode. They think, but if I just post more, eventually people will buy. But the entrepreneur is growing right now. They're building ecosystems, they are creating conversations, they are nurturing relationships, they are staying visible consistently. They are becoming recognizable. That's authority. Authority is not just look at me. Authority is when people see your name, they already know what you stand for. And Threads is one of the best places to build that right now. Especially if you are a founder, a speaker, a coach, a creator, a consultant, a community builder, or honestly, anybody building a personal brand. Because people are tired of overly polished content. They want connection, they want honesty, they want perspective, and they want real conversations. And I'll be honest, some of my biggest visibility shifts lately have happened because of one thread, one thought, one conversation, one perspective that resonated. I literally had a thread go viral this past week. That's why I keep telling people, stop trying to go viral. I know I went viral, but it was just on chance. But stop trying to go viral and start trying to become recognizable. That changes everything. So if you want to use threads better, here's what I want you to focus on this week. Stop worrying so much about posting perfectly and instead ask, what conversation can I start today? Not what can I post, but what can I spark? Because conversations create visibility, and visibility creates relationships, and relationships creates opportunity. That's the real strategy.
