Welcome back to Social Media Decoded and Merry Christmas Eve. If you're listening in real time. I know today is a holiday for many of you, and I'm grateful you're here with me. And listen, I wanted to drop something a little different today because while everyone is winding down for the holidays, entrepreneurs, real entrepreneurs. We are reflecting. We're looking at what worked, what didn't, what we want in 2026 and what we're absolutely not carrying into the new year. And if there's one thing I want you to take into this next season, it's this. Pretty feeds Don't Equal Paydays. Thought leadership does. Let's get into it. Pretty feeds don't Equal Paydays. I've worked in this industry for 16 years. I've been a creator, a strategist, a brand manager, a marketing director, influencer marketing. You name it. I've seen the influencer world, the corporate world, the startup world. I've worked with hundreds of brands and coached thousands of entrepreneurs. And let me tell you something. A beautiful feed has never been the reason someone got paid. Never. You know what gets people paid? Clarity. Conviction, point of view, and the ability to communicate it consistently. And yet, somehow, entrepreneurs still think the key is the perfect aesthetic. The matched brand colors, 12 curated reels, seven presets, a quote unquote clean grid. But guess what? Decision makers don't spend money on aesthetic. They spend money on trust. When I book corporate contracts, it's not because my Instagram is pretty. It's because my perspective is clear. My positioning is strong. My authority is felt when my clients get brand deals, speaking engagements, paid partnerships. It's not because their feed looks like a magazine. It's because their message resonates. Aesthetic attracts attention. Thought leadership creates demand. Why Decision Makers Buy Clarity. Let's break this down. Decision makers. And yes, that includes corporate buyers, sponsorship teams, PR Agencies, community managers, event organizers, high ticket clients, even brand collab teams. They are not buying pretty. They are buying certainty. They are asking themselves, does this person know what they're doing? Can they lead a room? Do they have a clear point of view? Does their message stand out? Can they elevate our audience? Your aesthetic cannot answer those questions, but your thought leadership can. Thought leadership says, I don't just post content. I lead conversations. I don't chase trends. I create belief shifts. I don't try to be seen. I build communities who stay people. Invest in leaders, not layouts. And your smartest buyers? They're listeners. Podcast listeners convert faster, easier and higher ticket levels because they hear your voice, your reasoning, your frameworks, your energy. They are already bought into you, which is why this show, this community, this mic, it is your most powerful sales tool. So let's talk about what thought leadership actually is. Because it's not being the loudest. Posting every day, sounding deep, using big words, having a perfect, brand new, knowing everything. Thought leadership is having a clear point of view, being consistent in what you stand for, teaching people how to think about your topic, sharing what you actually believe, not what performs. Standing firm in your experiences, leading with value instead of validation. Thought leadership says, this is the framework I believe in. This is the pattern I see happening. This is the shift coming in 2026. This is what nobody else is talking about. You don't need to be a guru. You don't need 100,000 followers, you don't need a team of 10. And you don't need a perfect website. What you do need perspective, clarity and a willingness to show up as a leader, not a performer. You don't want to be the most esthetic creator, you want to be the most trusted. If everything I said hit you. If you're tired of posting pretty content with no conversions, if you know you're meant to lead, if you want 2026 to be your year of clarity, confidence and community, then I want you inside of the collective. It's a monthly membership, intentionally accessible because I believe proximity and community shouldn't be gay kept inside the collective, you get live monthly strategy. With me, she connects networking calls, visibility challenges, community, co working business, clarity, accountability and the proximity people pay premium for.
