WhatsApp Representative (0:52)
Personal messages stay private between you and whoever you send them to. So things like the passport numbers for your honeymoon stay between you and your fiance and that video call for your grand's 80th stays in the family. Even your streaming password stays between you and your college roommates, who still ask for it every week in your group chat. Because on WhatsApp, your personal messages are yours. No one else can see or hear them, not even us. WhatsApp message privately and by the end.

Let me guess, you said this before. If I just had more followers, I I'd be getting clients by now. No one's buying because my audience is too small. I just need to go viral one time and I'll be set. Listen I've been there. But that's a trap. Because your problem isn't the size of your audience. It's what you're doing or not doing with the people who already follow you. Today, I'm going to walk you through why your follower count is not the key to success and what to focus on instead. And by the end of this episode, you'll have a new strategy, a new mindset, and a new reason to stop obsessing over numbers that don't pay your bills. Get your pins and notepads ready, because gems are about to be dropped. Let's dive right in. First, why you think you need a big audience? Why do we even think that? It's because the online business space has glamorized audience size like the Holy Grail. We always hear phrases like 10k followers and you can finally add links. I mean, I know that's old, but you get what I'm saying. So swipe up status. I made it. You need 100,000 followers to get brand deals. But here's what no one tells you. There are people with 50,000 followers making $0 a month, and there are people with 500 followers making $5,000 a month consistently. Because numbers don't equal strategy, followers don't equal trust, and virality doesn't equal value. A big audience is a vanity metric if you do not have a system to serve them. I've worked with creators, coaches and founders who felt like their small audience was holding them back. But when I applied my system, they got DMs, they got sales, they got booked brand deals. So what made the difference? Let's talk about it. Here is what you actually need to grow and sell. Let me break it down. Here's what you actually need to grow and sell on Instagram. Instead of a big audience, the first thing that you need is a message that makes people stop scrolling. If you can't explain what you do in 10 seconds or less, you are already invisible. Try this test. If your bio says empowering women to live their best life, I don't know what you do. But if your Bio says helping first time coaches create content that sells in 30 minutes a day. Now I'm listening because I know who you help, what you help with, and why I should even care. This kind of clarity attracts attention and qualifies the right audience, no matter how small. Number two is a consistent content plan that builds authority. Big accounts post for engagement. Smart creators, though, post for trust. Every post should serve one of three purposes. The first attract get the right people to stop and say, that's me. Number two, educate. Teach them something valuable to earn trust. And the third thing is convert. Invite them to a deeper transformation. Your freebie, your offer, et cetera. If you're posting just to keep up, you're posting to stay stuck. Instead, I want you to treat your content like an ecosystem, which I love to talk about. Every post has a job. My VVC formula, which is visibility value and conversion, is the game changer. Number three is a system that sells even with 200 followers. The third thing you need is a repeatable way to turn followers into leads. That means you know what your offers are, you talk about them clearly and you invite people to join your world daily. Every day. You should be sharing content with a clear call to action, showing proof that your process works, client wins and testimonials, and offering a low friction entry point like my free 7 day visibility challenge. Go ahead and sign up DM me the word Challenge on Instagram and I am so excited because I've been working on something and I'm going to give you a slight sneak peek here. What if you could get seen on Instagram? The toolkit to have a plug and play system that works whether you've got 100 or 10,000 people watching. I am super excited to bring this toolkit to you very soon and it's going to be like something that you've never experienced before. I promise you. Let me guess. You've been showing up on Instagram trying to be consistent, but your stories? Crickets. Here's the thing. Stories sell when you use them, right? So I created a free mini guide called the $200 a day story Strategy to help you start turning views into conversations and conversations into cash. Inside, I give you the exact framework that I've used to sell out offers using just Instagram stories and voice notes. No ads, no pressure. Grab it for free at the link in the show notes or DM me the word story S T O R Y on Instagram. Your content is powerful. Let's make it also profitable. Now I want to talk about how my clients sold with less than 1000 followers. Let me tell you what changed everything for my client. When she started building her brand, she wasn't popping, she wasn't viral. She maybe had 800 to 900 followers. But one thing that she did was she stayed consistent. She got visible with intention, she posted value, she connected in the DMs and she shared results. She told her story and because of that she started to get brand deals, paid, coaching clients, podcast Invites, consulting, offers, and people started to share her content without her even asking. All with a small, tight knit audience that trusted her. And they weren't just watching to watch, they were watching to work with her. And that is the real goal. You want to build an audience that doesn't just scroll. They subscribe, they share and they buy. So the next time you catch yourself thinking, I need more followers, I want you to stop, I want you to take a breath and ask instead, am I maximizing the people that I already have? A hundred people who trust you is more valuable than 10,000 people who don't care. Go ahead and put that on Instagram. Tag me in your Instagram stories. Michelle L. Themes. That's a bar that I need you to post right now. And I'll repost you in my stories for more visibility because hundreds of people watch my stories on a daily basis. And so go ahead, post that so we can increase each other's visibility. So here's your challenge for today. Go ahead and post that Instagram story and tag Mechelle themes and go ahead and give me a follow over on Instagram. It is one of my favorite platforms and if you didn't know, I'm talking about it, a whole lot more. Okay, so I hope that you got something valuable from today's episode. And one thing I want you to remember is you don't need a big audience. What you need is a clear message, a consistent system, and the courage to show up even when it's quiet. You ready? Let's get seen. All right, that's a wrap on today's episode. I hope you got some valuable insights and real strategies you can apply to your business right now.
