So let's talk about first, why you should monetize your expertise. Now, the online education industry is set to reach 1 trillion by 2030. Did you hear that? 1 trillion by 2030 people are paying to learn from real experts. Why shouldn't that be you? Now, I know some of y'all are thinking, michelle, I don't have anything to teach. But girl, yes, you do. If you've been in your career for years, you know things that newbies wish that they did. If you've raised kids, started businesses, overcame struggles, you have knowledge that's valuable. And here's the best part. You don't have to stick to one thing. You can monetize your expertise in multiple ways. Let's talk about how. Now let's talk about how you can monetize your expertise in many different ways. I have four key ways to monetize your expertise. The first one is coaching and consulting. And this is the fastest route to cash. If you can help someone solve a problem, you can coach. Coaching is a multi billion dollar industry. And listen, you don't need a certification to start. You just need experience and results. Career coaching, business coaching, mindset coaching, health coaching. People pay for guidance. You can start with one on one coaching and charge anywhere from 100 to $500 per session and higher. As you build your brand, maybe offer a group coaching program to scale example, Instead of coaching five people for $200 each, a thousand dollars total. Coach 10 people at $300 each for $3,000. Here's one thing I want you to do. What's one thing you know that others ask you for help with? Start there. That is your action step for this episode. What is one thing you know that others ask you for help with? Start right there. The second thing is speaking. Get paid for your voice. The public speaking industry is worth over $1.9 billion and rising. Now, if you love to talk, and y'all know I love too, then speaky is for you. And listen. Speak, sis friend. Start by offering free talks, collect testimonials, and then pitch yourself to bigger events. Here's an action step for you. Make a list of topics that you can confidently speak on. Then pitch yourself to three local organizations or online summits. Boom. Okay. The third way you can make money is digital products. Make money in your sleep. Ebooks, courses and templates generated over $100 billion in revenue in 2023. What? Yep, this is my favorite. Because it's passive income, you create it once and you can sell it forever. Ebooks, guides, digital courses, templates, workbooks, you name it. Example, if you're a life coach, you could sell a goal setting workbook for $47. Just sell 50 copies and that's $2,350, right? Here's your action step. What's one resource you can create in seven days and sell it? You have Canva, you have the Internet and you have this computer. You can do anything. Okay? The fourth thing is services done for you work. And let's not forget services. I love doing done for you work because people will pay for it. A lot of people don't want to do the work. Hey y'all, if you're listening, I'm the girl that wants to do the work I do done for you services. Okay? Because people will pay for it. Social media management, copyright and bookkeeping, branding. You can package your expertise and charge premium rates. The key charge based on results and not hours. I would never tell you to charge hourly. Please do not do that. A action step. The biggest thing stopping you friend isn't skill, it's self doubt. So let's talk about that for a second.
