Nothing wrong with the pussy. Nothing wrong with the pussy. Hey, hey, hey. Welcome Back to episode 41 of Something Wrong with the Podcast. It's me and only me once again. Julian, I do have a few guests coming up. I'm working on schedules. Please cut me some slack. I read all the comments. I do know you love for me to have some guests and I plan on doing it. It's just difficult to land some of the people I want on. But while we're talking about comments, let's actually start with some from last episode, episode 40. I'm going to try to read some comments at top of these episodes, if there's any good ones. So we have this one from King Kareem. He says, Julian, your snake plant is leaning in one direction. It's searching for more light. Put it near a window and it will perk back up. You can see here. I rotated it. It's already bricked up. It's team stiff. My plant popped the blue chewy on camera. Bricked up looks amazing. Thank you Kareem for noticing my baby in the background. I. I will say not all plants leaning towards light means that they are have a lack of light nor searching for light. It's just a natural thing that plants do is they always tend to lean towards the light source. So I have, I do have a lot of plants off camera in this window, all of which are pointed at that window and every once in a while I turn and rotate them so they all get an even amount of light. But it is something that plants do naturally, which is pretty cool because they're living and breathing things and they always want to be pulled towards the source of energy that keeps them alive. So thank you for noticing that this guy is very healthy. There's a lot of new growth in there. I actually propagated from that snake plant not too long ago and he got some new babies in some water right now that have roots growing. Okay, let's continue. This is from Obido Official. Can we get two 30 minute episodes, one covering pop culture and the other on some political shit because they are both interesting but come off rushed in one episode and then someone actually replied here. I agree, I prefer political views more. That's interesting. I, to be honest, I love this idea to be able to do two 30 minute episodes. If I'm being honest, I probably do have the time if I were to stretch it pause. But I'm in a zone, I'm comfortable and I've always been on the side of don't over commit and then under deliver. So I want to give people what I'm comfortable giving that fits into my current schedule. That being said, I guess the workaround here could be a record for a longer period of time and then cut that into two episodes. But again, like it's just me doing the editing, the thumbnails and the naming and the descriptions and all that stuff. And look, at some point maybe I just need to suck it up and commit to it because that is a great idea. But as of now I haven't worked that into my schedule. On the old show, we did commit to some shows and some segments that did not span beyond a few weeks. And obviously when you offer more content there's pushback from the listeners once it goes away. So I never want to put anybody listening in a position to expect more from me and I don't do it. But that is a great suggestion and I've been seeing that quite a few times, honestly. Here's one from Brock on top. This is funny. Rory is terrified of Maul and he needs to stop. Lol. No comment. The only thing I will say about that is, and again, not to make it specific to them but you know, whatever. Sometimes when you are tethered to somebody it can be a double edged sword. It can be obviously financially the best thing for you in your career as a creator. But at the very other side of that same coin it's you're tethered to somebody that may not have that work ethic or like that drive that you have to, you know, grow and just be a better collaborator or someone that can be selfish is really difficult to work with. So really sucks when you've hitched a ride onto two very different thoughts of mind when it comes to creating. So whatever, wish them the best. That's what they got Eden for. What else we got? I don't want to keep reading messy comments. I don't want to keep reading messy comments. We're not going to read any more messy comments. Someone said, I'd love to hear your take on Zoron. This ties back to the political comment earlier. This is from Chase Allen. Chase, I'm going to mention the Zoran Forest Hills rally and obviously early voting has started here in New York. I'm a big advocate for using your voice and exercising your right to vote. A lot of history has gone into people that look like us to get the right to vote. So use it. It's very powerful tool whether or not you feel like your vote is insignificant or not. Clearly the reflection of the primary shows that it's not insignificant and it can make a big difference and shake up the fiber of this city, but also the American, the democracy at large. So keep pushing, guys. Keep voting. I will be voting. I haven't yet. Skim, skim, skim. Okay, that's enough for comments. I do love all these comments, guys. I do read them. It's really fun to see everybody's input on here, but I do want to get to my favorite story because it's coming from my favorite league. So obviously the biggest story in sports this week, this past week has been the NBA gambling scandal. So there's questions more specifically with Terry Rozier and Chauncey Billups. So let's give a little bit of background on this story. So Last week the FBI announced that more than 30 people have been charged in two separate but related criminal investigations. Terry Rozier of the Miami Heat and Damon Jones, a former Cleveland Cavaliers player and assistant coach, were among six people arrested for their alleged roles in a sports betting conspiracy. Chauncey Billups, the head coach of the Portland Trailblazers and Hall of Fame basketball player best known for his time with the Pistons, great Pistons team that I grew up watching, was among the 31 people arrested for their roles in the scheme to rig illegal poker games with ties to organizational crime. So what's next? So in terms of what's. What's the. What's next is the Congress had spoken that they do want to spend time and sit down with Adam Silver to get a bigger picture of this, the totality of this scandal and what is the scale of this and how much money was at play from what we do know, at the very least. And now there have been videos, there's video evidence and very like damning evidence at that of Terry Rozier throwing the game or faking an ankle injury to go sit. So he hits his under. And then also there's allegedly him leaving the games to immediately go home and meet with the procurers of the money and get $200,000 cash for throwing these games and fucking with the money lines and things of that nature. Will other NBA players be implicated? It would surprise me if not. I think this is a something that those that like to are high risk, high reward and you're in a league and you feel safe amongst people that currently are also working in this league. I think a lot of people, maybe it's, you know, once they've done it or if it's multiple, then obviously you're screwed. But even once is enough of an offense. But this is a incredibly interesting story according to other indictments. Let's keep reading. Billupson Jones, who's also defending the case, participated in rigged poker games dating back to 2019. Organizers allegedly used former players as face cards to attract fish unwitting players to play the games that were rigged with technology such as get this shuffling machine on an X ray poker table. Billups is specifically alleged to have participated in a game held in Las Vegas in April 2019. Los Angeles coach Clippers coach Tyron Liu also attended that game but did not sit at Billup's table, According to Pabatori, who has been on fire with his investigative journalism exposing a lot of these insane sports scandals. Another one that he exposed was the fake plant organization that was created by the Clippers to pay Kawhi leonard an additional 10 or 15 or however many tens of millions of dollars to round off the money on the contract that he didn't accept. But let's keep going because also in these poker games, I read reports that there were glasses that if you looked at the back of the cards, it was like blue light glasses. Remember the show room raiders where like horny guys would get fake waking up out of their sleep and then like a mid chick from their local college would go through their room in sweatpants like, oh my God, he got cum stains everywhere. This dude dirty. It's like that, but for poker with hundreds of thousands of dollars on the line. So a lot of people are losing a lot of money. And let me put it this way, this has obviously gotten out of control. And I think all of this can easily be pointed at the finger, can be pointed at the sweeping broadband acceptance and pushing of gambling in sports, the legalization of gambling. I have been. It sounds so like, like I sound like the armchair quarterback, whatever that term is. But I've always said this to my friends and I'm pretty sure I said on the old show and the old pod. The way that we have glorified and been pushing sports gambling, I think in however many years, I don't know how long it'll take for us to get back to what I would deem normal, meaning no gambling, no legal sports betting. It's like the way we look at commercials for cigarettes. Or like if you watch that Sackler family doc where they would send people dressed as an oxy family to the hospital to go dance and like give promotional free OxyContin to people and patients and kids. That's how I look at sports gambling. We are pushing people in, not like on the underground Level ESPN is doing live betting and live money lines. And if you sign up now, you get $53 in your first fucking bet and you get to wipe your ass and fucking put your house up for sale. Like the level of like jam it down your fucking throat. Take the money. Gamble, gamble, gamble. It's so, it's so rampant that as ESPN was breaking this story, there was a live Moneyline ticker of bets to place later on further NBA games. And they realized that about like three, four minutes into the segment and then stripped it off the screen. So the screen just had a gray bar at the bottom, which its only purpose is to serve people to want to gamble. Like when are we going to be honest with where you're prying on people's vulnerability because you're, you're the illusion of giving them financial gain, which is not how gambling works. Gambling is incredibly lucrative because obviously the house wins significantly more than the people making the bets. You're not a fuck, you're not. This is an Ocean's Eleven or whatever the fuck. Like you're not going to walk in there and come out a winner. You're not going to pay rent because you want a 10 leg parlay. I read some study years ago about that parlay culture and how these small bets of like $2, $5 at a time, obviously when they add up, this is like how Apple makes all their fucking money. Obviously they have big expensive products, but then you also have people that are paying $1.99 a month for these like, you know, terabytes and additional giga storage. That's what this gambling parlay shit is. If you look at the percentage of parlays that hits, it's comically low. It's so bad that if you just saw those numbers, you'd be like, oh yeah, I would never do that. It's like a fucking 15% chance of winning. Because meanwhile people are just tacking on, well, it's only $5, it's only $7, it's only $10. This shit adds up like it's billions of dollars going into parlays lost. The few wins are the ones that are always going to get celebrated. Look at this guy, he put down $15 on a 15 leg parlay and won a half a million dollars. Yeah, because that's the only that happens once. One fucking time that happens. That's like their case study. Anybody that works at like a tech company like you, you build a product to put out case studies to get people to incentivize to come Join in. They will promote the shit out of those big game wins for the hopes that you are fucking scrambling pennies together to go get a McDouble that used to cost a dollar on the McDonald's dollar menu now is like 349 whatever the hell it is. There's nothing that's a dollar anymore in Arizona. Iced tea is like a $29. Like nothing is, is, is, is. What am I even saying? Affordable. So you're looking at. You're targeting a demographic of most Americans because the economy's in the toot toot. You're targeting Americans with a scientifically proven addictive habit just as dangerous if not dangerous to your health like cigarettes but emotionally and financially could lead to mental breakdowns, could lead to crash outs in self deletes and all of those things like gambling is just the, the first domino of many to a destructive lifestyle and the fact that we're so brazen just jam it down your throat every night. You can't avoid it. This is the thing. When this whole thing first started, I was always against it. I always hated it. But at least it was like you had to download an app and you would only engage in it there bro. They will interrupt. This is like the game four of the finals. They'll just interrupt and say current Moneyline like place bets now on who do you think what is. What is. Jalen Brunson's over under in the third. Do you think, do you think Kyrie Irving is going to have a triple double? He's only two assists away. It's like you can't even. I feel so bad for people that were addicted to gambling and have suffered from gambling addiction and maybe paid off debts or still have debt to pay off and are. You can't escape it. It's inescapable and it's so fucking disgusting. It is, it is. It actually grosses me out how much people are force fed this bullshit. I do have a lot of friends that gamble and more often than not those friends are pretty financially comfortable. So they kind of look at it like a joke and. But some are very addicted and take it quite seriously to which I always tell them it's not. And I don't care how. How much fun money you got. It's never good to just go piss away money on something so frivolous and meaningless and just. It just, it's just a level of stress and added nonsense into a life that none of us needed added stress. So for us to not only legalize that level of stress but Just promote the shit out of it is really sad and disheartening. And my critique towards Adam Silver, the current commissioner of the NBA is you have sold every ounce of court space in the NBA. You have sold the NBA jerseys themself. The NBA is becoming a real estate league to only to get teams to build casinos attached to these stadiums. There's a report that came out that I read that Luka Doncic, that whole trade that made no sense with the Lakers because it literally as a sports person, makes no sense. As a fan of sports, you would never trade your franchise player for nothing. Well, then I read that here's a reason why that Luga got Luca was traded to Lakers. Everyone thinks it's LeBron pulling strings. It's not. It's is when Mark Cuban was getting fed up and he's publicly said this, I've heard him say this on a podcast. He said, I got into this league because I love sports. I love the game. This league is no longer about the teams and the players. It's about real estate. It's a real estate play. He goes, I'm not in this game to be a real estate mogul. So what does he do? He sells his shares to. I forget Shorty's name. Some billionaire chick. Good for her. But she made all her money in casinos. She's got mad pole in Vegas. So she goes to the Mavericks and goes, hey, we're moving the team to Vegas. Because that way I can just put the stadium next to a fucking casino. Money up. We're double. We're doubling up the the re up first season. And the people of Dallas, the rest of the board said, no, like, our fans love it here. We just made it to the NBA Finals. Like, people here would be devastated if we were to take this team in this hot in this moment and get rid of them, change market. So she said, okay, fine, fuck you guys. Luka's gone. Gets rid of Luka as like that's her threat. So now we're looking at like the business moves are being made at the expense of the fan base, which obviously led to a pretty vocal and like visceral reaction from Davilis Maverick fans and obviously just NBA fans at large. Because this trade makes no sense, nor should it have never happened. Point being is now she's pushing to get a casino in Dallas. She wants to get a freaking casino. It's not about basketball anymore. We're losing the game that I grew up loving. It's never the sports is always about business. I'm not Naive. I understand that that's a major part of how this stuff works. It's always about increasing revenue and bottom lines. But at some point it's like, when is enough enough? And when are you really putting the betterment of an owner in their pockets over the community in which they serve, over the people that these teams are supposed to bring joy into their life. But hey, why do we need to bring joy into life? How about we slap a casino on its asshole and then make everybody download a fucking 10 betting apps so they can drain their. So they can not only spend money at, to go to the game, spend 15 fucking dollars on a beer and then watch their team that they used to love that just got depleted because I'm a petty bitch. And then hey, why not? Why not on the way out walk into the casino and go lose more money? Like, what is the precedents that we're setting as a country? It's so embarrassing that this is exactly where we're headed. And I don't know who, like, who generally in the real like American core population likes this shit. Like, who is excited about the direction that this stuff is headed in. It is disgusting, it is embarrassing and it needs to change. And I hope Congress, if they do this meeting with Adam Silver at some point pushes back and just says, like, come on, bro, I'm not here to just shit on Silver. He did the two things he did do. The NBA in season tournament is great, as is the, the globalization of the game. Cool, great, well done. But what, what good is globalizing a game if you're going to kill it in the process on its own soil? So, you know, I could go on and on about the NBA. I care so much about this league and it's really sad to see the direction that this league and other sports are also headed in. The gambling is beyond what it should be and it's really disgusting. So let's stay on sports. Let's pivot to the World Series because that's the, the other major event going on in sports, obviously. Game one. Wow. Drake was at the World Series, game one in the Rob Ford varsity jacket, which is fire Rob Ford, notoriously disgraced former, well disgraced mayor turn legend because he smoked crack on camera. And if you had asked me at the beginning of this series if Toronto had a chance, I would have assumed you're smoking crack. But they smacked the shit out of LA in game one. I believe it was 11 to two. They trounced them. Game two. Yeah. Yoko Ono, whatever the hell that pitcher's name is I don't even fucking know. He came out through a complete game. LA's tied. Going back to LA. They're actually playing, I believe tonight as I'm recording this. I will be watching that once I'm done here. But I do have LA winning the series. I thought it would be a Sweep. Could be 4 1, 42 would be great. I'm always down for more baseball, but it's been an exciting series thus far and it was cool to see, you know, Drake show up for, for his community there. On the topic of Drake, he just got six more diamond records, I believe all of Take Care is now Diamond, I think. But he also picked up a few more along the way. I'm not gonna look up which singles, but congrats to him. It was also his 39th birthday. Over the weekend, academics posted a weird DM or no. Drake DM'd academics like 30, 38 minutes in his birthday at 12:38am and said, hey bro, where's my birthday wish? Which is really. Come on, that's a little odd to ask your homie. And then it's even weirder for act to screenshot it and then post it's like, dude, what it get the meat out of your mouth, bro. Jesus Christ. Steak. Speaking of gambling, because why not? Why should it stop at sports? Steak gifted Drake a million dollars again creating this facade that gambling is the cool. You're got to be cool to gamble. And it's a lifesty should aspire to. Do not fall for it. It is fucking stupid and it is bullshit. But yeah, that's my sports rant of the week. Let's go to a update on the Louvre. Somehow they've already arrested some suspects. Let's carry on. If you don't remember, last week the Louvre was targeted at an early morning raid. These guys came in through a window, grabbed a bunch of expensive jewelry and slid out worth tens of millions in a matter of minutes. Let's keep reading here. Some investigators have been involved in chasing down the suspects of the heist. The Louvre director called this whole thing a terrible failure. Okay, but we got two arrests from French media. They said two men in their 30s and known to police were detained Saturday evening local time. Authorities were able to track down the individual after analyzing more than 150 samples of DNA left at the scene. I mean, did they not wear gloves? Like, were they smoking cigs and tossing the butts around the Louvre? Like, both men are from the Parisian suburb, okay? Where one of them was arrested. It added that while two Other suspects involved in the heist remain at large. So we got two down, two more to go. At least two more to go. One of the rest was preparing to leave the country. It seems like the other one was not preparing to leave the country. No, under. Not sure if the. The other two that are at large are planning on leaving the country. After reading this article, I feel like they should. The stolen items comprising nine. It's including an emerald necklace set amongst a thousand diamonds gifted by Napoleon to his second wife. Were not recovered by the two men. All right, big diamond still out there. Napoleon's necklace is still out there. Congratulated the arresting officers. Yeah, whatever, whatever, whatever. Blah, blah, blah, blah. Guys are still out there. They are at large. I talk about something that would be pretty pending on the black market also. Like, who would buy that? Like that. The, the, the handover of those items is going to be real sketchy. You really have to be like a, a Saudi or like Russian oligarch to pick those pieces up. I feel like was the only two people I would trust with not turning me in, not rooting for the criminals, but like run faster, get on a plane. Like maybe put down the baguette and fucking jet. Get out of here. What are you doing? Local news. I did want to spend some time on the mayor race. We are currently in the early voting stage, which is quite exciting. The city is buzzing for mom dummy. Including myself, honestly. And I was having some conversations with people about this as they were asking me how could we get to this point? How does one, especially in New York City, get to the point where this guy makes sense? And I think it's quite a simple answer. I believe the same way in which we got to the point where Trump made sense. It's the same thing for Mamdani. I think Trump and Mamdani are birthed from the same anger and from the same will to change the government landscape of this country. Obviously Trump on a larger scale, on a more local level here in New York. But I really do, I do believe that obviously what they believe in, what they stand for and what their messages are drastically different. But at their core, like Trump is, was an outlier. He made no sense on the political field. He was a businessman, a failed businessman at that, and a tv, a television show like host. So he, I think what made him so appealing was his newness and his, like his know, nothingness. When it came time to speak in the political field and play politics per se, he didn't play politics. I think Mamdani in a Similar way is really not just challenging the Republican team party, but also his Democratic Party. And he's pretty much separated himself from the party. Although, yes, he is representing the Democratic ticket, but he wants to radically change how some things are done in New York. And now put it this way, I'm not like everything the guy says is gold. Everything he's gonna say or do is gonna get accomplished. To be quite honest, I don't think anything much, if anything at all that he wants to get done will get done. I think Trump and New York Democrats at that will also just. They will block him every step of the way to make sure that a Democratic socialist cannot get anything done in Washington or here in New York State. I think it's very much a part of their playbook is to understand that they are going to lose this election, but at the same time they're not gonna let him do shit. So then the hopes is the young kids that rallied behind him will look elsewhere because they'll realize Mandami wasn't able to fulfill any of his promises. I think that is the best case scenario for what the Republicans and Democratic Party are looking to do. Because I saw Kathy Hochul at Forest Hills celebrating the rally in Mondami, holding her hand up and. But I also saw the crowd booing Hochul when she went up there to speak. Let's not be fooled. New York doesn't fuck with Hochul. Like, Hochul's not it. And yes, I'm saying this knowing that my brother is challenging her for the governor seat, but the established Democratic Party in this country and in New York State is not it. So you can put her on stage and it's smart for Mom Dahmey to play politics. But I guarantee you that same Mamdani that's up there celebrating her and holding her arm up and giving her that spotlight, she'll go back to Washington or, you know, play for Trump or play for, you know, even Cuomo, even after he loses. I think they're going to play ball in a way that makes it very difficult for Mom Dhame to do shit. I also did read 26 billionaires have poured over $22 million into stopping Zoran's campaign for NYC Mayor Bloomberg, ackman, Walton, Wynn, Louder. The list is like a panic roll basically at this point. And we have to be honest, like these donations are not coming from the goodness of their hearts or civic duty. They're basically doing this to defend a system that's finally being challenged. So you have to remind yourself all this outrage in quotes from Ham. Dami is coming from a very specific group of people. A group of people that none of it, none of us fall into. Not myself, nobody listening that I know of, nobody that I know personally. So if, you know the billionaire class is spiraling out, you know, it means it threatens their system and it threatens the lifestyle that they're used to living. And if anybody's lifestyle needs to be threatened in this country, not threatened with violence and like, harm, but threatened in the sense of you can't even threaten them with a threat of not being as comfortable. They're going to be comfortable. I'm saying threaten them in the sense of like, maybe you pay 2% more taxes. That's. That's what he wants to do. Mamdani went on flagrant and said a great quote about Ackman on me saying, this guy's already poured more money into ads against me than I would have if I were to win. And I would have taxed him. Like this guy. Like these guys are in full panic spiral mode, painting him as, you know, this socialist Radical, this fucking 911 co conspirator. Like, it's, it's. It's sad, it's embarrassing, it's obviously not working, which is really the, the scary thing for a lot of these people. The fear. The people are over, the fear tactics. I think people just want something different. And whether or not he's able to do anything different, I think the, the. His face in the. This stat, like the. What am I trying to say here? Like, him winning is more symbolic than it is for, I think, than what he can get done. I think his. The way he looks, the way he acts, the way he speaks, he's young. I think that's more symbolic of the direction that certainly the Democratic party is headed in. And I think that's what really matters here, is that we can't put him in office and then let that momentum die at that office. It has to carry on throughout. It has to ripple through the entire Democratic party, which I hope it does. But we are in a very interesting time in New York and it's. It's quite polarizing. And I don't know, maybe I just look at things in their simplest terms, but anytime you see the big billionaires and the money movers all come together to strike down one person, one can deduce the reasons why they want to do that or for incredibly selfish reasons. And it's not to better or benefit or to make life easier for you. They just want to protect things. The way that they are. Because the way that things are is what got them to over a billion dollars in revenue. And this whole, like, game of, like, we the. This, like, weird Republican relationship with billionaires, like, they're one of us, is ridiculous. So I'm very excited to vote for him. I will be voting for mom dummy again. Don't know what the outcome of that is. I just want to be a part of the change on some level. I'm also not, like, a sweeping. Like, I'm not, like, on board with everything he says or. Or supports. I just think we're ready for something different. I also don't really want to fuck with a guy that, you know, is accused of touching and abusing 13 women. Like, I just don't kind of don't want to support that. He also had his chance. He did. New York for 10 years. Fucked it up. Like, on to the next one, bro. You had your shot. Get out the spotlight, go back upstate. So, yeah, that's how I feel about the political state in this country. What else is new? What can I rap on? I went to an incredible show over the weekend with some of my great friends, Parcels at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. If you haven't been, it's incredible. Tennis court venue Parcels is a five piece. I think I want to say Australian group, but they're based in Berlin. And man, what a show. Live instrumentation, incredible live production. They had a split screen with, like, a live camera tracking and another screen with, like, montages and music video cuts. It was like the opacity on the screen was just right that you could see the lights behind it on the stage. I mean, it was genuinely one of the best shows I've ever been to. I had a really good time out in Queens, and Queens is beautiful. I really do need to spend more time out there. My friends and I did get there early, so we, like, bopped around to a few places. So it was nice to be, like, on the ground in Queens, just kind of trying different spots near and around the stadium. But what a beautiful, beautiful night, beautiful venue, and I'm looking forward to more shows in the city. I think I'm gonna go to the clip show at. I think it's at Brooklyn Steel. That's later in December. I'm gonna probably rip that one with my cousin. Him and I are huge clips fans. I did say that's my favorite rap album of the year, and it remains that. Oh, music updates. Daniel Caesar's album came out. I actually was just listening to it. I went grocery shopping earlier Today I loved it. It's great. Here's my phone. I'm looking right at it. Daniel Caesar for me, doesn't miss who else came out? I actually haven't listened to Leon Thomas yet. Mac Miller released three new tracks his estate released released three new tracks on the 10 year anniversary of Good Am. What an incredible album. Good Am was Mac's first album when he signed with Warner. I believe he signed a $30 million with Warner deal with Warner. This was his first release with them and it was. It's a special one. And the three new songs are great. I think Mac is even his posthumous stuff, you know, 10 years later is still in better shape than a lot of these current rappers. We can leave the race aside. Just in general, he's a lot better than a lot of these guys. Tame and Pollard came out the new album. I've seen a lot of criticism online about it. I'm not gonna lie. I like it a lot. I. It's not as like, you know, the normal, like insane, like more headbang. Not headbangy, but you know what I mean, like groovy. It's more down. It's a little more down tempo. But I'm a fan. I love Tame Impala. Would love to go to that show. I believe that one's at the Barclays center, which I'm not too crazy about as a venue though, to be honest. I'd much rather see him at a different venue. But maybe I'll bite the bullet and just get a ticket for that one. Yeah, that's truly. That's my. My big old update, guys. Other than that, things are going well. I. What do I have coming up? The holiday season is approaching. My birthday is approaching in less than a month. It's Halloween week. Feels like two weeks here in New York. It's always a fucking shit show. Halloween shit all last weekend. There'll be more Halloween nonsense this weekend. I don't know when Halloween from a city but like, when did Halloween not become for children anymore? You know what I mean? Like, I don't see any kids. And yeah, I live in New York. There's not many like children walking around. Nor am I looking for kids. Don't get weird. But like, it just seems like it's just like when did it become so hoary? And this isn't me bashing women. It's not like I'm attacking women in like slut outfits. I just. It's like, when did it become so like sexual rather than, you know, just like a cutesy. I don't know what was the switch because even if you look at like, like an original Halloween film which was I believe 1978, John Carpenter, one of my favorite horror films and scores that music is iconic. I think there's like a subtlety in that first one, but it's never been about like showing sexy women. I think John Carpenter, to be honest, we want to talk Halloween films for a minute. He set the standard of like introducing that promiscuous woman into a horror film that is also the promiscuous one's always the one that gets killed first. So don't be fast was the message. Always the nerd, the Jamie Lee Curtis that would live because she's a good woman. That whole complex was developed in those films and carried throughout even today. And a lot of horror films, pretty interesting stuff. But yeah, I don't know what came of that. And when things kind of became ultra gory and now everything's like, you know, gushing blood and just like. There's just. It's always too over sexual. I don't know. I'm also just sound like an old head. But anyway, needless to say, I got a. There's some good movies that have been out recently. I gotta tap in. But right now the Knicks have my attention. We had a terrible loss to the Miami Heat Sunday night or Sunday day. So hoping to bounce back, but I think we'll be all right. My prediction is Wemby wins mvp, but the Knicks will. I think we'll squeak in the. Definitely the Eastern Conference finals. I think we should get to the finals. Our bench sucks. That's always the case. It's embarrassing how shitty our fucking bench is. But you know we'll find a way. Jalen Bren by we Jalen Brunson will find a way. All right guys, that is going to be it for me tonight. I appreciate you all. Love you. Thank you for tuning in. Episode 41. It's Something Wrong with the podcast. Peace.
